Overthinkers
DOH releases preliminary list of highways to receive funding from BRAVO Act Updated 6 June 1424 Department of Highways Director Collard G. Denhim has published a statement celebrating the progress of the BRAVO Act, which designates a large portion of electric vehicle charging station taxes to the DOH. “We are encouraged by the new progress made on Bill 31306,” Denhim said. “The potential revenue allocated to the DOH will allow us to undertake a number of projects that we hitherto could not for lack of funding….We urge all our legislators to see this act is passed.” The director also published a preliminary priority list, identifying specific proposals that the department will be able to approve upon receiving this new funding. The list is an example and is subject to change based on exact cost and unforeseen factors. The proposed projects include: Realignment of Highway 125 near Foren to better accommodate cargo traffic Widening Highway 081 south of Worth, making it four lanes Construction of new high-capacity bridge on Highway 332 between Hestmere and Ligon Construction of new highway, beginning in Owen and connecting to Highway 270 west of Zoewey Realignment of Highway 013 to bypass Exvia Repairs to the Whetter Bridge in Hestmere “We are excited to see the trends in personal vehicle use in Overthinkers, but that means we need to be that much more diligent in maintaining our highway system,” Denhim noted. “We are sorely aware of the amount of overdue maintenance we currently face. The passing of the BRAVO Act will be a great help in our catching up.” Director Denhim’s full statement can be read here. Federation of Inner Ryxtylopia
TVNC - A pass to the finals; Who will get it? The broadcast would start from a studio with a table and Railo, Eiva and Tixica seated around it. [Railo]: We're live? [Eiva]: Yup, go on. [Railo]: Alright, good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! You're currently watching TVNC's regularly scheduled program on the 5th Rugby World Cup, my name's Tivan Railo, and as usual ill be joined by my co-workers: Nixta Eiva and Marco Tixica, as we dive into the pre-match talk for this matchday. [Tixica]: A big one is ahead of us, we're in the top 4 but still we have to fight tooth and nail to make the final. [Eiva]: And today we are facing... [Railo]: The one and only host nation: Overthinkers! Who achieved the qualification to the semifinals after beating United Adaikes on extra time 13-10! [Tixica]: Their revenge was hard fought but in the end im guessing sweet! [Railo]: They'll have the homefield advantage, however their performance against UA could be a sign of the match to come? However we shouldn't only go on that beacause things can go very differently from what we may expect. [Eiva]: Overthinkers is one of the more agressive-focused team's we'll face, what can we talk about the locals? [Tixica]: They will bring a lot of people in the stadium. [Railo]: True, there's always like that's phsycological factor when you're facing the hosts of the tournament, like the crowd and all that, some teams are more afected by it than others. [Eiva]: That is true, but what about their team itself, do we have a lot of information about it? [Railo]: Well they do have one of the better attacks in this RWC, if im not wrong they were the top scorers of the group stage and had either the 1st or 2nd best point differential in the group stage, id need to verify to be 100% correct, but its one of those two. [Tixica]: What about our side? What does Tivarra have cookin' in for us. [Railo]: He's being very "secretive" about the tactics for the team, he does NOT want them on air so unfortunatley until the match gets underway we can only speculate. [Eiva]: We can and we got some guesses. [Railo]: We do, as well Overthinkers is a pretty good side, its very unlikley that they try to play for possession, it just wouldn't work, but they could try to absorb the Overthinkers attack to get them to overstretch to then attack, meaning very defensive play to start off, or it could be the opposite, try to get an early lead and hold it for the rest of the match, in my opinion those are the two likley routes they will take. [Eiva]: Pretty reasonable considering the opponent, we wont have a lot of people present to cheer, so its essential they don't concede early if they wanna keep spirits high. [Tixica]: And, and, err- who do you think will be our key player? [Railo]: Hard to say, but probably someone in the backline, Rivas, Zicha, Va'atí, Mataña... one of them should prove vital to stop or at least try to stop Overthinkers' attack. [Eiva]: I mean depends, if we score a lot it would probably be like Darrias, Huilchica, Guilbirto, Xilta... If not then its probably one of the people Railo mentioned. [Railo]: Well but someone crucial for our program is good ol' Gaíves, probably awaiting in the stadium, so im going to get the video call up n' running. [Tixica]: Alright lets gooooooo! The three start the video call with Gaíves in Overthinkers. [Gaíves]: HELLO STUDIO PEOPLE! [Tixica]: Gaíves! Where you at? [Gaíves]: HERE IN THE STADIUM'S ENTRY WAY, I don't know if you've noticed! ITS VERY LOUD HERE! [Railo]: Yeah, what's with all that people? [Gaíves]: THEY'RE HEADED- ALL THE RYXTYLOPIA SUPPORTERS ARE GOING TO SEAT IN LIKE THE SAME GENERAL AREA, SO ALL THE NOISE FROM OUR PART IS COMMING FROM HERE!! [Railo]: What about the locals? [Gaíves]: WHY'D YOU THINK EVERY SINGLE VISITOR IS HEADING THIS WAY?! THE LOCALS HAVE ALREADY ABSOLUTLEY FILLED THE STADIUM! ITS PACKED! [Fan]: GO RYXTYLOPIA!!! WE'RE WITH YOU! [Gaíves]: VERY INSIGHTFUL SIR, IM TRYING TO WORK HERE! [Railo]: You're all packed. [Gaíves]: IT IS QUITE PACKED HERE, NOT A LOT OF SPACE. [Fan 2]: WE'RE THE BEST!! [Gaíves]: YEAH, OKAY SHUT UP IM WORKING! [Fan 2]: WE ARE THE BEST!! [Gaíves]: IM STARTING TO HAVE A LOT OF INTERRUPTIONS HERE! BUT THE GENERAL ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT, ID SAY IT- [Fan 3]: _______ GO CHACAS STANDS WITH YOU RYXTYLOPIA!!! [Gaíves]: SHUT UP GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! [Gaíves]: ITS ONE OF THE BEST IVE SEEN, MAYBE BEHIND THE DALIMBARI HOME FANS IN THE FINAL LAST YEAR, BUT THAT'S MY PERSONAL OPINION- CONDITIONS FOR BROADCASTING HERE AREN'T THE BEST! [Railo]: Well, and the team? [Gaíves]: I CAN'T REACH THEM, IM STUCK WITH ALL THE PEOPLE HERE. [Fan 4]: TO ALL OUR PLAYERS THANKS FOR THE JOY- [Gaíves]: DON'T SPIT ON THE MICROPHONE!! [Fan 4]: SORRY SORRY- [Gaíves]: I MIGHT HAVE TO CUT OUT HERE, THERE'S SEVERAL DRUMMERS RAPIDLY APPROACHING, THE NOISE WON'T LET ME TALK! JUST KNOW WE'LL BE HERE FOR THE MATCH, AND OUR PEOPLE ARE VERY EXCITED! [Railo]: Oh its a shame. [Tixica]: Nooo Gaíves don't leave me. [Gaíves]: ILL CALL YOU IN THE MATCH TIXICA, DON'T WORRY- [Tixica]: Alright, see you later then! [Railo]: Thanks for giving us your side. [Gaíves]: ALRIGHT BYE- The video call ends abruptly as several people with drums and trumpets passed next to Gaíves making the background noise too loud for a good transmission. [Railo]: Well, im guessing that'll be that. [Tixica]: Like i said, if we win, im booking the first flight down there i can. [Eiva]: And what are your thoughts on Zoran vs Teralyon. [Railo]: Well, whilst Teralyon is on their rugby prime, ill have to go with the experience, and well structured zoranian team for the victory, they've recovered from everything that's already passed. [Tixica]: Boo! Boring old man. Actually- To the one Teralyian who probably watches this, DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT MAN, Teralyon is in to win it, and Ryxtylopia stands with you! Teralyon will play the final this year. [Railo]: Wanna bet? [Tixica]: How much? [Railo]: Ill put... 2,500 ryxes. [Tixica]: Oh its on you! Ill put the same. [Railo]: Winner takes-all, by the way, you brought the snacks? [Tixica]: I have them in my car, they're a lot so ill need your help to get them here. [Railo]: Oh boy, well that'll mark the match pause for this transmission. Thanks for watching! This have been TVNC's pre-match review, as we head into the semi finals of RWC5, we'll see you shortly after the match! [Eiva]: Goodbye! [Railo]: Right Tixica, lets go get the stuff. The camera zooms out as the TVNC music plays, soon after it goes to ads, with a countdown to the time of the match in the corner. Nouveau
The newly opened Doll Guldur Continental Bank Building in Strijdkreet Guldurian Leaders Celebrate 30 Years of Economic Ties, Announce New Currency Plans 16/07/1424 Edvard Van Meer Strijdkreet, De Rek - President Guy Laclare and Guldurian leaders gathered in Strijdkreet to celebrate 30 years of the Guldurian Economic Cooperation Agreement being signed. The celebration was also used to announce the formation of a Guldurian currency, as of yet unnamed, and future plans for the implementation of a bloc-wide state bank. The gathering was held at the brand new Doll Guldur Continental Bank Building unveiled in the heart of Strijdkreet. President Guy Laclare “Today marks 30 years of the Guldur Economic Cooperation Agreement being in force,” President Laclare said. “30 years of challenges, from the demands of industry and clean economy, to new international security and cooperation issues. But they’ve also been 30 years of achievements, from new construction, and economic partnerships, to greater growth and security for each and every one of us. ” The Guldur Economic Cooperation Agreement, formed in 1394, created a series of economic guarantees and practices which have persisted today. These include wealth funds for economic development, unified food and packaging standards, and its highest profile tenets of free trade and visa free travel within the trade bloc. Supporters argue free trade and travel has strengthened a continent otherwise divided by difficult geography, and increased regional economic security. Critics however argue that the bloc has been economically disruptive, shifting jobs away from localities, and causing economically disruptive imbalances in wealth. The celebration, which included Emperor Sebastiano Tiveron of Candelu, Minister-Crown Anean Nordennaici of the Republic of Emmeria, President Guy Laclare, and a representative from the Zhiznovsk Collective, was held in the newly unveiled Doll Guldur Continental Bank Building. The building is slated to be the headquarters for the Doll Guldur Continental Bank. The DGCB, if approved by bloc-wide referendum, would begin a process of standardization throughout the bloc where all members would use a new common currency. The DGCB would also control interest rates, bonds, money printing and a number of economic measures, such as loans to bloc members. GECA already has a number of cross-country agencies, from the bloc-wide law enforcement assistance program known as Dolpol, to the Office of Strategic Projects, which aids in coordinating large multi-member infrastructure and construction projects. Approval isn’t guaranteed, as many now commonly accepted provisions started as hotly contested items. The formation of GECA took nearly four years of work before 1394. Zoran
(This is a collaborative post made by me and @Varanius) 14 July 1424 10:00 Auran Standard Time Zygotia, Varanius Sarah Finn grumbles as she reads the latest updates on the C-Tech investigation in Zoran. This is clearly a covert attack against her, the zoranian government didn’t seem to have any interest in C-Tech before she secured her leadership of the country; but, they won’t be so confident soon enough. The door opens and several military advisors enter the room with various files in hand. “Good morning, Madam Prime Minister, may the Most Ocular One’s glory brighten your day.” said advisor Eugene Vincent, “Yes yes, and to you as well. Now, do you have the plans for our liberation of the Darkesian?” asked Sarah, “Yes, madam, all the plans have been kept off of electronic devices too as you instructed.” said Eugene, “Excellent, now let’s go over the plans before we put them into action.” said Sarah excitedly, “First phase of the plan is to begin by moving our naval forces into the center of the Darkesian, establishing control over the waters around Galete (D5), Onego (D4), and Kahuwe (D3) using force against whatever pathetic excuse those three nations call a navy.” said advisor Shannon Lee, “There is no doubt that we will be able to steamroll any opposition posed by those three tiny nations but I bet by the time we reach Kahuweian waters we would draw the attention of Zoran.” said Sarah, “Yes, madam, we know that the current zoranian government has reaffirmed the continuation of the Ani-whatever doctrine and will come to the aid of those nations in the central of the Darkesian if they ask. But, we expect that they won’t resort to attacking our ships immediately as they would likely try to avoid war after just getting out of one. To us we can use this as an advantage to force them to back off if we keep using brinkmanship tactics.” said advisor Jonas March, “Good, I like the sound of this. Now what about the possibility of interference by those colonizers?” asks Finn, “From our estimates, the Giovannilandians will not likely intervene unless we directly threaten Andoliavilla, which won’t be until we move to phase two of the plan and invade Galete. In terms of the Markans, we will be far enough away from them in the initial stages that we are not likely to see them involve themselves militarily unless the Giovannilandians do. Both will likely try to work with the Zoranians at some point but considering the current tense relations between them and the Zoranians the outcome of a joint strike involving the three of them is unlikely. We predict that the Zoranians would tell both the Markans and the Giovannilandians to stay out of this due to their tendency of being very protective over the central Darkesian nations.” said Eugene. Sarah begins to chuckle with glee, this couldn’t possibly get any better, “Perfect, then let’s start phase one and get our ships out there.” ordered Finn, to which her advisors obliged. 15 July 1424 05:00 AST Darkesian Sea, off the coast of Galete A small fishing vessel has cast its lines and has started its long work day. The fishermen are working hard keeping an eye on the machinery and the lines. As the captain mops some sweat off his brow he looks out across the vast expanse of the Darkesian before seeing something in the distance. Ships, many of them but not just any normal ships, these were military vessels. He squinted as he looked closer at the flag of the ships and saw they were flying the yellow and white Varanian flag. He ran over to the helm and used his radio to contact the coast guard, “Hello sir, what is your emergency.” said the coast guard operator, “H-hello? Yes, I-I would like to report the sighting of Varanian military vessels in our waters.” answered the captain nervously, “Varanian ships? Are you certain about this?” “Y-yes! I saw their flag on the military ships with my own eyes!” “Very well, sir, we will send a plane out to confirm. What are your coordinates?” “They are-” But as he was about to give the coordinates the boat began to rock violently and a crashing noise could be heard from outside the cabin. “Sir, is everything all right?” asked the operator, “I-I’m sorry, something happened outside, I have to check it out!” answered the captain, “No no no, wa-” but the operator was cut off as the captain put down the radio and ran outside only to find that his boat had been crashed into by a Varanian destroyer, the ship right next to his, “HEY!” he yelled in galetian, “YOU HIT MY BOAT! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING OUT HERE!?” A varanian soldier came to the side of the boat and looked down at him with a confused expression on his face, “WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? I DON’T UNDERSTAND YOUR GIBBERISH!” exclaimed the soldier in Varanian, “ARE THOSE EVEN WORDS? I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!” he yells back, The varanian soldier just walks off to find someone on the ship who speaks common and the sea boat captain does the same, when the two return they both have someone who speaks common. The captain relays what he wants to say to the sailor who spoke common and he says, “MY CAPTAIN SAYS YOU HIT HIS BOAT AND ASKS WHAT YOU GUYS ARE EVEN DOING HERE?” the Varanian soldiers then converse with each other a bit before the other soldier that spoke common answers, “YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED OUT OF OUR WAY! THESE ARE VARANIAN WATERS, THEY ALWAYS HAVE BEEN!” The sailor and the captain converse with each other with concern before the sailor yells back, “ARE YOU CRAZY! THESE ARE GALETIAN WATERS! GET OUT OF HERE!” The two soldiers converse before responding, “CLEAR OUT BEFORE WE USE FORCE!” The captain and the sailor began to panic and instead of fighting they decided to pull in the nets and return to shore. The captain then went and made a report to the coast guard and it didn’t take long before this reached the ears of the Galetian government. They sent out a patrol boat out to scout for the varanian ships and after a few hours of searching the ship managed to locate them. But as the ship approached, two of the varanian ships began firing their water cannons at the ship. The crew tried to continue onwards but the pressure just became too much and they were forced to retreat. When the ship returned, the Galetian government made a public statement officially denouncing the varanian government for their actions. 15 July 1424 21:00 Over Time New Zoradia, Zoran Atsila was about to finish up her work for the day when Minister Agaluysdi rushed into the office along with General Adahihi and Chancellor Yenuha Aditsi. Atsila looked at the three of them with concern, “Oh no, what’s the problem?” she asked, “The varanians!” exclaimed General Adahihi, “The Gawetehó:nǫʼ (Galetian) government has denounced the Varanian government for sending their fleet into their waters. When they sent the coast guard to investigate they were blasted with water cannons. Supposedly, they are also stopping fishermen from fishing as well, claiming that they are fishing ‘varanian waters’.” said Minister Agaluysdi, “Oh for the love of-I am guessing that Gawetego:ke (Galete) wants us to uphold our commitment towards their defense?” asked Atsila, “Yes, they are asking us to send ships over to intimidate them into leaving.” said Minister Agaluysdi, “Adahihi, what is your take on the situation?” asked Atsila, “I am going to be honest, I think we should hold off on taking action. If their ships start harassing O:negowa:gwa' (Onego) and Kahuwe:yóke (Kahuwe) as well then we need to spring into action. I recommend that we tell them that we will start mustering our forces and say that there are some logistical delays on our end when they inquire.” “I agree,” said Chancellor Aditsi, “this will also buy me some time to try and prepare a strategy for uniting the iyunadai should conflict become a possibility. There are definitely going to be certain parties calling for more immediate action such as the Pan-Aniwvwiyai Party and the Darkesian Liberation Front. You can also probably expect some criticism from the Junaluskanist party for allowing ‘imperialists to start to harass our Darkesian brothers and sisters.’” “That is to be expected…all right, let’s do that. Keep an eye on the situation, inform the Gawetego:ke of our decision, and try to come up with a way to unify the iyunadai.” Atsila said to the three of them. They bowed and left the office, but Atsila began to think of what to do in the case of a war in the Darkesian, the thought haunted her in her dreams. 16 July 1424 08:00 Over Time New Zoradia, Zoran Atsila was in her office, as usual, when General Adahihi and Minister Agaluysdi barged into her office, “The situation has gotten worse. The Varanians have been spotted off the coasts of O:negowa:gwa' (Onego) and Kahuwe:yóke (Kahuwe) last night!” exclaimed General Adahihi, “What!” Atsila exclaimed in surprise, “How many ships do they even have!? Surely not enough to cover that much area all at once!” “No, we suspect that this is the same fleet making patrols around the region. But we have received reports that this fleet is claiming for the entire area to be Varanian waters. I think they are trying to establish control in the area to make a naval invasion easier in the future.” said Adahihi, “It is possible but I still say that it is rushing to conclusions. General, dispatch our fleet to the region.” ordered Atsila, “But, Your Majesty, the fleet still isn’t complete. We have most of the ships we ordered as part of the reconstruction program, but the two carriers won’t be complete until 1426 and the final batch of destroyers won’t be complete until next year!” exclaimed Adahihi, “I know, but our goal is to try and intimidate the Varanian navy into leaving the area without the use of lethal force. If there is to be a war with Varanius we are not starting it now.” “I see what you mean…very well. I will do that at once.” with that General Adahihi bowed and left the room leaving Atsila with Minister Agaluysdi, “What is the general sentiment among the Aniwvwiyai nations?” Atsila asked, “To be very honest, they are worried. It might just be those three nations now but they fear that the Varanians might grow ambitious and expand across the Darkesian.” answered Agaluysdi, “Do the Varanians even have a navy big enough to accomplish such a task?” “I don’t know but I think that once our fleet engages, we need to encourage unity between ourselves and the Aniwvwiyai nations. If we want to successfully deter the possibility of a Varanian invasion we need to find a way to tie ourselves to their nations. As it currently stands, our people are not likely to support a decision to go to war in the defense of the Aniwvwiyai as outside of the old declaration made by the GDC we have no real obligation to do so. To craft an alliance with them would take too long as it would be a series of negotiations and then having the iyunadai agree to all the terms.” “Then what do you suggest?” asked Atsila, “I see an opportunity to further deter Varanius and also ensure our control of the Darkesian while also having a potential war with Varanius have more support amongst the public.” said Agaluysdi, “Well, spit it out. What is this idea?” “We hold a summit with the other heads of the Aniwvwiyai nations and discuss the possibility of unification.” “What?” “You heard me.” “Are you crazy! That would possibly take longer than alliance negotiations! Not to mention it would likely be met with opposition from other nations!” “It is risky but if it works out we would be able to have significant sway over trade through the Darkesian and ensure the region’s security. Not to mention that it would deter any other military threats against the Aniwvwiyai nations in the future.” “But do you just expect the other Aniwvwiyai nations to just agree to this? They have smaller populations and would likely not be represented in the government properly.” “We can figure that out if we go forward with this idea and negotiate with the other states but my question to you is should I broach the topic with them?” Atsila thought about this for a minute, hesitant to make a decision on this so soon but she was also curious about what the other nations would say. “Go ahead and broach the idea with them. Keep an eye on the situation and report back any new developments.” ordered Atsila. Agaluysdi nodded and bowed as he left the room to fulfill his orders. Atsila took a shaky sip of water as she worried about the possibility of an all out war in the Darkesian. Federation of Inner Ryxtylopia
Ryxtylopia vs Overthinkers - Match Highlights Both sides entered the field, Ryxtylopia wearing the 1st kit, as the local crowd started to cheer for their team, both sides standing for their national anthem as they prepared to begin the game. For the locals this could mean going to the finals on their own turf. For Ryxtylopia it could mean an improvement from last year's performance. Pablo Virriscayda would once again be commentating for TVNC, with the match about to start, as both teams just waited for the coinflip and took their sides. The coinflip was done with the hosts winning it and deciding to kick off. "Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare! We have Ryxtylopia vs Overthinkers now live from... well, Overthinkers! Its time for the coin toss... annd OVERTHINKERS! Wins it, they... they elect to kick off, its time to face the hosts in a match that promises intensity for both sides involved." KICK OFF: Overthinkers would inmediatley start off the match agressivley placing pressure on the defense which was contained for the first few minutes of the game, seeing a lot of mauls and rucks, as well as frecuent possession changes. "Ladies and Gentlemen... OVERTHINKERS VS RYXTYLOPIA HAS NOW BEGUN! Live directly from the host nation on TVNC, go Ryxtylopia, go Pirates!" 6 Minutes in... (0-0) Soon after the start of the match, Overthinkers would make the first dangerous approach towards the ryxtylopian line, with their Nº4: Jena Cantor, leading the attack after a ruck, taking advantage of the gaps in the Ryxtylopian line to get through, passing the midfield and making it about 3/4 into the pitch, before being tackled by Guilbirto Tivaña who with the help of Rinaco Patochá regained possession for the Pirates. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we got a ruck- and possession is now for... Cantor, attention, Cantor, Cantor, Cantor, Overthinkers on the attack, they cross the midfield, Cantor, Tivaña, Cantor, Tivaña, Cantooooooooor- Tackle! Tackle by Tivaña, Patochá regains possession for Ryxtylopia!" 13 Minutes in... (0-0) Ryxtylopia's first chance to score would be on the 13th, following one of Overthinker's attempts, with Armando Mataña making progress through the left, then passing the ball to Pailo Darrias, before he got tackled by Andrew Hall, with Overthinkers quickly restarting their attack after recapturing possession. "Mataña! Mataña on the left, making good progress, Mataña will probably need to look for a pass, attention! Mataña to Darrias, Darrias is through with the ball, and- TACKLE! Darrias gets tackled by Hall, Overthinkers is now back in the attack, the game remains 0-0!" 28 Minutes in... (3-0) The game after the first tries for each team started to devolve into a stalemate with Overthinkers pressuring the ryxtylopian defense, loosing possession, and Ryxtylopia attempting to go on the attack but then loosing possession to the Overthinkers counter-attack. This would sort of end with one of Overthinker's attacks in the 28th, when their team captain and Nº8: Theresa Argent led a kick that ended in the hands of David Nauta, who was able to quickly turn around Marco Va'atí when approaching the goal, before being surrounded by Ernysto Rivas and Ferrán Lisquerva, which resulted in David attempting to score a drop goal, kicking the ball between the two posts and earning Overthinkers the first points of the game. "We got Argent, Argent Argeeeeeeeeent- kick to Nauta, the hosts continue pressuring the defense, Nauta, Va'atí will try the tackle and- MISS! VA'ATÍ MISSES! Attention a big chance has opened up for the hosts! Rivas And Lisquerva must act! And- DROP, KICK! SCORE! Overthinkers has scored a drop goal, thanks to David Nauta!" 33 Minutes in... (10-0) The pressure from the locals continued on to the 33rd, when the first try of the game was scored, following a maul, Alan Cord took possession for the locals, making a good pass past Rinaco Zicha, to Bonnie Marculus, confusing the ryxtylopian defense which was concentrated parallel to Marculus on the other side of the pitch, opening gaps, which Marculus took advantage of, as Rivas was unable to do anything Marculus scoring the try. Following this Hank Moor would take the conversion kick, scoring and putting the locals 10 up on the score. "Annnd... Possession for Cord! Cord, Cord, Kick good kick to Marculus! Maybe they'll try passing to the other side, no wait- GAP GAP! WATCH OUT, ITS MARCULUS! Marculus, Marculus, Marculus, Rivasssss- Isn't in position- Marculuuuuuuuuus- Score, Score! Overthinkers lands the try!" "It will be Hank Moor, for the conversion, if they land this they'll be 10 up, attention ladies and gentlemen... Moor, Moor, Moooooooooooooooooooor- Score! Overthinkers lands the conversion!" 37 Minutes in... (10-3) Not all would be lost for Ryxtylopia yet as before the first half ended the took a jab at Overthinkers following one of many possession changes during the match, with Ferrán Lisquerva regaining possession and making a dash forward through a gap left on the Overthinkers' defense, before stopping after Ty Rex cut his path off; with little options, Lisquerva kicked the ball for a drop goal, landing it and scoring Ryxtylopia a badly needed 3 points. "Overthinkers winning in the first half ladies and gentlemen! But watch out, its Lisquerva through the left, he needs to look for a pass! Attention, Lisquerva, he's cut off by Rex! He needs to pass Lisquerva, KICK, LISQUERVAAAA- SCORE! Lisquerva has scored, Ryxtylopia gains 3, match remains 10-3!" HALF TIME (10-3) Both sides end the first half tired, as the referee starts the half time break, Tivarra's team going in with the obvious disadvantage, as the local's attack had pressured his defense enough to stop them from going on the attack. "Annnd half time! Everybody- Overthinkers winning the match 10-3! We'll be back soon after the half time break here on TVNC, and we'll see if the locals can amplify their advantage or if Tivarra's side gets their baggage in order." 47 Minutes in... (10-3) The game continued with a good chance for Overthinkers in the 47th, following a forward deflection by Huilchica that ended in a scrum, this time Lee Julius leading a good attack, before leading the pass to Cory Villa the locals continuing to lead a dangerous attack, only stopped by a great tackle by Ernysto Rivas near the line, saving the Pirates from the try, and preparing a counter attack that would stop at the midfield. "Scrum, scrum, scrum, scrum. Julius! Julius for Overthinkers! They're keeping the pressure, now to Villa, Villa, Villa is through! This could end in a try... Villaaaaaaa- Tackle! Riiiiiivas! Saves the team yet again! Ryxtylopia loosing against the hosts 10-3!" 51 Minutes in... (17-3) A poor performance by Mirta Palmiras at the midfield let to the loss of possession for the pirates which gave Overthinkers a perfect chance to strike considering the disposition of the ryxtylopian players, a chance they took well, with Bryan Harding retaking the ball and making it through the first ryxtylopian line, with Quista Farris failing a tackle allowing Bryan a gap to pass to Nauta, who then approached the line in front of the goal, passing a badly-positioned Rivas and scoring. Jena Cantor took the conversion kick, scoring it and amplifying the lead. "Palmiras, tackle! Ball to Bryan! Its Bryan! Bryan, Bryan, through the gap! The defense is still struggling with the pressure, attention- Farris- FAIL! She's missed the tackle! Bryan to Nauta! Nauta she's through, Its up to Rivas! Annnd... SCORE! Overthinkers scores a try from David Nauta in front of the goal!" 56 Minutes in... (17-6) Ryxtylopia would continue struggling with the constant pressure from Overthinkers, as their team was having an easier time with possession retention than other agressive teams, however the ryxtylopian's would again get some points back, from a kick by Marco Va'atí to Guivina Divarra ending on a parellel line towards the local's goal, with defenders already charging at her to regain possession, she took the risk, attempting a drop goal which she scored. "Alright, its Va'atí on the flank- Kick, its for Divarra! Past the midfield, Andrew Hall could try the tackle, Divarra doesn't have a lot of help here, she'll have to kick! Attention- Divarraaaaaaaaaa! SCORE! Divarra scores a drop goal, Ryxtylopia takes some back, its now 17-6!" 66 Minutes in... (24-6) The game still did not end however. As in the 66th minute Armando Mataña committed a knock on, with the scrum being awarded to Overthinkers', as their team took full advantage of it, winning possession out of the scrum and taking advantage of the disposition of the ryxtylopian team for Carson West to lead a pass towards Hank Moor, who avoided Rivas and scored the 3rd try for Overthinkers. Marculus took the conversion, scoring it. "Matañaaaaaaa- That looks like a bad deflection, yes. SCRUM FOR OVERTHINKERS! Attention everybody... ...Right, annd- Carson with possession! Attention, Carson to Moor, Moor, Moor Rivas is the only one that can stop this annnd- he doesn't! Overthinkers Scores!" 69 Minutes in... (27-6) During the 69th minute, following a maul, Theresa Argent achieved possession for the hosts, taking the ball into the ryxtylopian side of the pitch, but while looking for a pass Patochá fouled them by pulling on their arm, almost getting sent off, and handing a penalty to the hosts, which Micheal Anul converted, bringing up the score to 27-6 favoring the hosts. "Theresa, Patochá, and ouch! That looked painful! Foul by patochá, this will result... yeah confirmed. Penalty for Overthinkers! Following the foul from Patochá, Overthinkers has been awarded a penalty!" "We'll have Micheal Anul to kick this one, attention everybody... Anuuuul. Score! Score! Overthinkers has scored the penalty, the game is now 27-6" 75 Minutes in... (27-9) Despite the loss, it wasn't quite over for Tivarra's side yet, as with the Overthinkers' attack loosing steam, the Pirates had one last chance to take points back in the 75th, this time Marco Xilta lead throuh the flank. Pulling a 90º turn right in front of A.J. Jackson, and making it near the goalpost being perpendicular to it, with this Xilta took the opportunity to score a drop goal, sending the ball curving past the left post and into the goal, gaining another 3 points for the pirates in the dying minutes of the match. "5 minutes to go! Attention we got Marco Xilta with possession! Xilta is in Xilta is through, Running through the flank! Jacksooooon- What a turn! Xilta can get some points! Xiltaaaaaaaaa- SCORE! Xilta scores the drop goal! Its now 27-9!" FULL TIME (27-9) That last jab at the goal would mark the end of the match, with the crowd cheering, as Overthinkers took the pass to the finals, with Tivarra's team going back into the changing rooms. "Annnnnnnnd FULL TIME! Ladies and Gentlemen! Ryxtylopia is out! Tivarra's team fought but today wasn't their day and they fall to the hosts! Overthinkers will advance to the finals! This is not the end for Tivarra's side, they still have a shot at the 3rd place medal!" "The hosts will be advancing, we'll get the results of the Teralyon vs Zoran match soon, but this will mark the end of today's match, Tivarra will have to wait another year to have a shot at the final, but the team has made it far once again and they'll soon be competing for 3rd place." "But this will be the end for today's transmission, we thank the hosts: Overthinkers for allowing us to set it up, and for hosting this RWC in the first place, ive been Pablo Virriscayda, rugby comentator for TVNC, and i will hopefully see you ladies and gentlemen for THE BRONZE MEDAL MATCH! Have a nice day." The transmission ends. United Adaikes, Nouveau, Giovanniland and 2 others

Overthinkers
Support independent journalism for cents a day. Subscribe for μ5/month >> X Retrospective: What the BRAVO Act taught us about Overthinking politics Hailee Quinn Politics Editor Earlier this week, President Auguste signed the BRAVO Act into law, marking the conclusion of a legislative saga that no one really cared about outside of politics nerds. In fairness, we have more than our fair share of those in this country, but it’s still hard to get the average person invested in a highly contained drama that requires a political science degree to understand. As we enter the 1425 election cycle, however, this single bill revealed a number of loose cogs in old George’s well-oiled machine. All the politics surrounding it perfectly exemplify the issues being faced by party leadership as Auguste steps aside. Also, us wonks needed justification for all the energy we put into this, so here you have it. Lesson 1: NUP isn’t very united No one was more noticeably or dramatically divided on the issue than the New Union Party. As the largest and longest-active party in Overthinkers, it’s generally assumed that their leadership has things under control. When the Dome erupts into debate and NUPers are the first in line on either side, it erodes that image slightly. Not that this was an isolated incident. Voting records over the past two years show an increasing trend in noncompliance among NUP legislators. The alliance with the Progressive Overthinking Party has continued to hold, resulting in little risk to NUP’s policy control, but when the establishment party stops being established, all hell can break loose. Clara Silva has very blatantly spent the last year preparing to take the torch from Auguste. If NUP can’t put their whole weight behind her, it leaves the door open for other challengers. Lesson 2: POP isn’t progressing The POP was also divided, but it’s always divided. That’s exactly the problem. Young voters are flocking to this party in droves, but still can’t figure out how to work with one another effectively. Instead, you find four or five different camps forming within POP ranks on every issue. It’s like they’re a stack of REPs in a trenchcoat. Specifically, we know that the BRAVO Act had legislators choosing the hill of environment, public safety and public transport, or personal expense, then very dramatically staging their own deaths thereupon. Even on the same side of the debate, members of the same party were giving mixed messages. Alexander Wesson, Jon Corn and company have their work cut out for them putting the rails on their junior counterparts ahead of the election. If they can find the same page, their momentum might just carry their candidate over the line. Lesson 3: ODP has direction True to their name, the One Direction Party was the one party that didn’t have a compliance problem with the BRAVO Act (not counting the Radical Equality Party, because you never count the Radical Equality Party). From day one, they had their line figured out: regulation is invasive and costly; besides, why would the environmentally-minded parties try to forestall the adoption of eco-friendly technology? No doubt the tight reins are a necessity for Overthinkers’ furthest-right party, which has always sat in the minority position. After taking a big hit in the 1419 election due to the antics of one Torrance Maid, they clawed back to prior levels in 1921, and reached a new high in 1923. Whatever they’re selling, it’s catching on in the western and southern areas of Overthinkers. Recent trends in Varanius may only embolden them. Any political entity with ODP’s level of focus should not be underestimated. The elections of 1377 and 1401 taught us that. If NUP can’t find a way to derail their propaganda train, ODP stands to at least deal some damage that they can cash in on two, four, or six years from now. Lesson 4: Business interests are here to stay The BRAVO Act saw major players in the EV sector mobilize politically in a way that 40 years ago would have been shocking and out of line. Today, no one really gave it a second thought. They may not have gotten what they wanted, but they’ve opened a door. Overthinking legislators have been receptive to businesses and their concerns for ever, but there were unwritten rules that public and private sector understood. Lobbying was a low-key affair where you sat with your representative, they heard you out, and then you parted ways with no verifiable promises made. Corporations decided to switch tactics. Now, they’re pitching policies to politicians like they pitch their products to investors. You will hear an occasional murmur suggesting that more stringent lobbying rules are needed, but until a major corruption case comes out of it, most will continue to let it slide. As long as that is the case, big business will only become bolder in their courting of legislators. Lesson 5: No one is complacent It’s a small victory, for the people of Overthinkers more than anyone else, but it’s not all bad: if nothing else, the BRAVO Act’s rocky journey proves that our lawmakers are attentive and active. No one is too comfortable to the point where they will not rock the boat if they deem necessary. A complacent legislature would have shrugged and moved on the moment that the going got tough. Instead, they mobilized. They considered it important enough to snatch it from the bureaucratic void, fix the issues holding it back, and push it through. Regardless of your opinions, a proactive legislature is generally a net positive. It would be cliche to say that Overthinkers have a big decision to make next year, but it’s clear that our political leadership have some big decisions to make before then. The election may hinge on which camp gets their act together in time for the campaign season to start. Federation of Inner Ryxtylopia
Canal 7 Dyportes - The Semifinals; A dive into the Top 4 There would be a brief introduction, with a heavily autotuned voice: "In Channel 7 we bring you the best information for your viewing, CHANNEL 7!" "Good afternoon everybody, welcome to Channel 7 SPORTS, the best sporting news in the entire northern half of Aura, im Inrique Miravez today's host, and as many of you have been expecting, today we're taking a dive into the Rugby World Cup being hosted in Overthinkers!" "As many of you know Ryxtylopia got knocked out by Overthinkers' with the score being 27-9; the hosts of the tournament ended the run Tivarra's team was making for the trophy, but this is not the end for Ryxtylopia as 3rd place is still within reach. Meanwhile for the other match we expected more equality but the Zoranians thrashed the Teralyians 27-6, ending Teralyon's 8-game unbeaten run, as the zoranians prepare for what could be their 3rd RWC trophy, for which they'll have to face the hosts, whilst Teralyon will have to do with 3rd if they can make it over the ARR." "So lets take a look at the matches we have in store for us!" THE FINAL - Overthinkers VS Zoran "The grand finale of this RWC! It will be a face off between the hosts: Overthinkers! and 2-time champions Zoran! The zoranians looking for their 3rd title. Whilst Overthinkers' will be on the hunt for their first conquest." "Whilst theese two didn't meet in the last edition of the tournament, there is stuff we can add to this duel. Zoran has never lost a final, both finals they reached - they won, so that could serve as a bit of re-assurance. However they are facing the hosts, which will mean they might be on their backfoot due to the local's crowd." "And the thing about this, is both sides look incredibly, and i mean INCREDIBLY SIMILAR!! Both agressivley minded teams, that like playstyles focusing around pressuring their opponents and they both won by nearly the same margin over their opponents in the semis! 27-9 and 27-6 respectivley!" "With two teams so similar to eachother facing off in the finals, its hard to predict who the balance will lean to, however we can still give it a good look and analyze, look for key players and all that..." The Kites' - Overthinkers! "The locals go in with high spirits and expectations, however it wont be easy as they're facing the only 2 time tournament champion, in their 3rd final, a team that has never lost a final, and probably does not intend on losing this one. However they do have reason to be confident, they won against Myrgidyah, had a hard fought victory over the Sharks, and then sank the Pirates to the bottom of the podium, plus they had a better group stage performance than their rivals with only 1 loss to their name, as well as this, they had a PD of over 100, making them one of the most lethal teams in this tournament, their attack being nearly unstoppable under the right conditions." "And so the hosts prepare to defend their turf, they're under the leadership of coach: Anton Edwards they have a star-studded squad with lots of talent present, their team captain being their Nº8: Theresa Argent, as well as this they have players that recently shined in the match against the Pirates, like David Nauta, Bonnie Marculus, Micheal Anul, Ty Rex and many others that have lead their team to victory. Their playstyle has been talked about before but we'll do it again! Overthinkers is an offensive-minded team, meaning they beneffit from high possession percentages, good kicks and passing and the mentality to go in and convert any chance they get. They can quickly pressure their opponents but may struggle if they lack possession or if the rival team can stop them from converting, which could lead to a loss of morale or opportunities for their rivals to counter-attack." The Sun Hawks - Zoran! "The zoranians, after their fair share of suffering in the group stage, once again return to a RWC final after a one year absence, if they win they'll concrete their 3rd title, having more trophies combined than all other teams, as said before the've never lost a final, so they could be in for the maximum glory one can achieve in rugby, or they could be handed their first 2nd place medal. However they're not to be underestimated as an "old" side, they have experience. Despite starting weak with two losses in the groups, to Nouveauterra and Ryxtylopia, they bounced back, making the round of 16, bearly edging past Fujai, sending defending champions: Dalimbar packing back home, and putting an end to the Teralyians victory streak." "The sun hawks know the finals well, now they just have to win this one, it will not be easy, but they have probably one of - if not the most experienced team in this tournament. With coach: Amadahy Lvaguta at the lead, they have a well of experience at their disposal with players such as: Amo-Adawehi Tsasima, Salonitah Gelusva, Degataga Dvagahi, their captain: Dlasimahe Asduidv, Wohali Goyadv and many others eager to once again conquer the RWC trophy and bring it back to their islands. And they share basically the same playstyle as the team they'll be facing: being an offensive team. Since ive already convered Overthinkers' style of play and how theese sort of teams can beneffit or not, i wont say it here, but it will be interesting how two teams with very similar mindsets deal with eachother." The FINAL! "The obssession of many teams, achievement of few: The RUGBY WORLD CUP! The maximum conquest available in this sport for any player, and the most challanging one by far. The final of the rugby world cup can be the pinnacle of any player's career, even conquering it just one time is a huge achievement. And in this final while the teams are similar their backdrops couldn't be any different, on one side a team that made their debut only in the last RWC but have shown that experience isn't everything and that a team with good coordination and tactics can reach any heights, going up against a team veteran of the RWC series, that has already won the tournament and that whilst they've seen players come and go, are able to take advantage of their experience and keep a level of rugby only a few can match." "For the game itself, there isn't much to be said, its going to be a hard one to predict, actually- a hard one to guess since this will be a guess! But we have an idea of what MIGHT happen, both teams could start off cautious, waiting for their opponent to make the first move and set the rythm, saving their strength or the opposite, starting out strong and hopefully scoring and pressuring enough to keep their opponents at bay throught the match. Overthinkers being locals will have the psycological edge over Zoran, they'll have their people cheering on, but only time will tell who gets 2nd, and who'll get to lift the trophy up, and rejoice in having won the RWC!" THE BATTLE FOR BRONZE - Ryxtylopia VS Teralyon "The two losers of the semi finals still dont have to go home, at least not yet- As they have to decide who'll get to take the bronze medal, an award that still carries weight on its own right, here we still have a great deal of quality on display, on one side, last RWC 3rd-placed team: Ryxtylopia, on the other side experienced team that had an incredible run: Teralyon!" "Theese two teams didn't meet in the last RWC, with Ryxtylopia getting 3rd place after proving all doubters wrong and beating the cambrians to take home the bronze. Teralyon on the other hand got knocked out by Cambria on the quarter finals, after a decent run." "And we have another match with two similar sides! Both being some of the most balanced teams in the tournament, slightly favoring offense but being able to hold their own on the defense, again a hard match to predict but first lets see what each team brings to the table..." The Pirate - Ryxtylopia! "The Pirate has been battered by the kites, the rough seas of the match hard to navigate, and the ship has lost its way, however a new path has emerged for them: the path to third place! Despite being knocked out, the Pirate(s) have made it past several hurdles to get here, Topping group C, with only one loss against the newcomers: Nouveauterra. Then making it to the round of 16, going past the sekiyan rocks and then sending the giovanniland imperalists back home, despite the sort of dissapointing performance against Overthinkers, Ryxtylopia remains a strong team in its own right." "This is the second time in a row that Ryxtylopia makes it to the bronze medal match, a pretty good performance considering the Pirate(s) only debuted one year ago, the team lead by coach: Andreís Tivarra has made pretty good progress and has gained experience, with players like: Pailo Darrias, Andreís Guilbirto, team captain: Riberto Huichilca, Marco Xilta, Marco Va'atí, Ernysto Rivas and many others, they've been through many matches and won against stronger teams like Cambria and the Zoranians twice. Ryxtylopia is one of the more balanced teams, and balanced teams even offensive-leaning ones preffer to build up their plays and strike whenever the time is to do it is good, they also usually like to be in a good position to defend rival pushes, and regain possession to then facilitate their attacks. However if they lack the inicicative, or the rival doesn't give them any opportunities to make it past the defense they can struggle with scoring." The only team here without any nicknames - Teralyon! "Teralyon, the team that held a seemingly unstoppable unbeaten run was finally bested by the zoranians, this has been one of the best runs of a team yet, but despite no longer contending for gold, they can still go for bronze. The Teralyians had a perfect group stage run: 6 wins 0 draws and 0 losses. They slayed the Lions of Saint Mark in the round of 16, and in the quarter finals, got a much awaited revenge against the same team that knocked them out in the last tournament, but in the semifinals they got battered by the zoranians, however the loss isn't to say their team fell off, and underestimating them would be a bad thing to do for any team." "This could be the first podium placement for the Teralyians, meaning they wont want to dissapoint, they can still be a deadly machine and under coaches: Maldoc Wenavic and Vush Brajna they seek the bronze, they also have a high quality squad composed of players such as: Zivko Koci, Vladmir Kowic, Berisa Mirkovic, Nikita Kubitschek, Sambor Nokto, Radi Malenkov, Dragos Pantelic and many others, they've had tough opponents, most notably Cambria, but the Teralyians aren't an agressive side, and like said before they share a lot in common with the ryxtylopians, they like balance in their style of play, meaning they beneffit from the same things and they can suffer from also the same things as the Pirates, they're just slightly more agressive." The BATTLE FOR BRONZE! "The battle for bronze itself, like the final is a hard one to predict considering both teams are so incredibly similar, if Ryxtylopia wins they'll defend their bronze medal, which whilst not the wanted result is still better than the two other teams that finished in the podium last RWC, Dalimbar and United Adaikes. Meanwhile for Teralyon this could signal a shift in the Polari rugby hierarchy, and propell them to even better success and more recognition." "The game itself might see both teams starting off slow, as said before waiting for chances to build up their games, both teams have players with incredible physical abilties, many of the ryxtylopians starting off in the poor neighborhoods of major cities building up their strenghts there, and the Teralyians, well- i don't need to make reference to a stereotype but we all know what im referring to. Once the game starts we could expect a lot of possession changes and a game with little scoring at the start, until one side builds up a good enough lead and attempts to hold it." "And that's it for our program, we looked at each team, their matchup, their possible strategies, and possible game results for each of the matchups." "We're into the finals! We'll soon see who takes the trophy, the silver and the bronze home! This has been a RWC with many surprises, maybe not as many as the last one but revelations that impact the rugby landscape nontheless, for the ARR they'll test out if they can defend their bronze or if its time for a completley new podium from last year." "But that will be all for today's special. Ive been Inrique Miravez! Today's host, and i thank you for listening, and lending us your time to give you our take on this RWC! Have a good day." Channel 7! Channel 7! Channel 7! A short music theme plays as the camera zooms out, and the transmission ends. United Adaikes and Zoran
Teralyon
Unstoppable Force Meets Immovable Object In a shocking turn of events, the Teralyon rugby team's impressive undefeated streak came to an abrupt end in the semi-final of the fifth annual Rugby World Cup. After eight consecutive victories, Teralyon faced a crushing 27-6 defeat at the hands of the formidable team from Zoran. Please come now The semi-final match, was a highly anticipated clash, with fans from both sides filling the stands. Teralyon, known for their aggressive play and strategic brilliance, seemed poised to continue their winning streak. However, Zoran's tactical superiority and relentless pressure on the field proved too much for Teralyon to handle. I think I'm falling From the start, Zoran dominated the game, quickly establishing a lead that Teralyon struggled to overcome. Zoran's defense was impenetrable, and their offense capitalized on every opportunity, leaving Teralyon scrambling to keep up. By halftime, Zoran had built a commanding lead, and despite Teralyon's best efforts in the second half, they couldn't turn the tide. I'm holding on to all I think is safe "We're obviously disappointed," said Teralyon team captain Zivko Koci. "We had a great run, and we believed we could go all the way. But Zoran played exceptionally well, and we have to give them credit for that. Now, our focus shifts to the next game." With this loss, Teralyon will now face Ryxtylopia in the battle for third place. This match promises to be another intense encounter, as both teams aim to end their tournament on a high note. Teralyon will need to regroup and bring their best game to secure a podium finish. It seems I found the road to nowhere Meanwhile, Zoran advances to the final, where they will take on the home team, Overthinkers. The Overthinkers, with the advantage of playing on home soil and the support of their passionate fans, will present a tough challenge for Zoran. The final match is set to be a thrilling contest, with both teams vying for the coveted Rugby Cup. And I'm trying to escape As the tournament reaches its climax, rugby fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the final showdowns. For Teralyon, the journey may have taken an unexpected turn, but their resilience and determination will undoubtedly make the battle for third place a match to watch. Watch the epic Finals Live right Here with your Tarajevo+ for free with your account! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Teralyon President Denounces Allegations Against United Adaikes Tarajeva, Teralyon — In a strongly-worded press conference held today at the Presidential Palace, President Anton Tiber of Teralyon addressed the recent, widely-criticized allegations that the nation of United Adaikes should leave the continent of Polaris. These claims, purportedly made by certain outside forces, have been met with firm denial and condemnation by President Tiber, who reaffirmed Teralyon's unwavering support for its friend and ally, United Adaikes. President Tiber began his statement by calling the allegations "ridiculous" and "baseless" asserting that such claims are designed to sow discord and destabilize the region. "United Adaikes is, and always has been, an integral part of the Polaris continent," he declared. "These unfounded accusations are nothing more than attempts by external entities to disrupt the harmony and cooperation that we have worked so hard to build." He emphasized that Teralyon stands resolute in its commitment to United Adaikes. "Our friendship and alliance with United Adaikes are built on mutual respect, shared values, and a long history of collaboration. We will not be swayed by baseless accusations or allow outside forces to dictate the terms of our regional relationships." The press conference was attended by numerous national and international media outlets, reflecting the gravity of the situation and the widespread interest it has garnered. President Tiber did not mince words in addressing the motives behind these allegations. "It is clear that these claims are orchestrated by those who wish to undermine the stability and unity of nations in the Mille Mer. However, let me be unequivocal: Teralyon will always stand by its allies. We will not tolerate any attempts to isolate or delegitimize United Adaikes." In his address, President Tiber highlighted the strategic and economic importance of United Adaikes to Polaris. "United Adaikes plays a crucial role in our collective security and economic prosperity. Their contributions to regional initiatives and their commitment to upholding the principles of peace and cooperation cannot be overstated." The President's remarks were met with applause and support from various representatives and officials in attendance. Following his speech, President Tiber took questions from the press, reiterating Teralyon's steadfast stance against any form of regional destabilization. When asked about potential actions Teralyon might take in response to these allegations, President Tiber was firm. "We are actively engaging with our allies and partners to address this issue. Diplomatic channels are open, and we are exploring all avenues to ensure that such false claims are swiftly and effectively countered." The President concluded the press conference with a message of solidarity. "To the people and government of United Adaikes, know that Teralyon stands with you. Together, we will face any challenge and overcome any obstacle. Our bonds of friendship and alliance are unbreakable." As Teralyon reaffirms its commitment to its ally, it sends a clear message to the international community: unity and cooperation will prevail over division and discord. Federation of Inner Ryxtylopia
TVNC - The fallout... and the third place match! After a considerable delay broadcast would start from a studio with a table in the center and Railo, Eiva and Tixica seated around it. Railo in total silence and Tixica with his head firmly on the table. [Eiva]: Good afternoon ladies and gents! Welcome to TVNC sports, im Nixta Eiva, and ill be joined by my co-workers Tivan Railo and Marco Tixica, where we'll review what's in store for us in this last day of RWC5, but also uh, apolgize for the mess that happened in the last transmission. [Railo]: Yes... apologies for that. [Tixica]: Im sad, i got grounded, i was even sent to the naughty corner. [Railo]: At least i got my bet money. [Tixica]: Oh shut up! [Eiva]: Well, we soon will witness the match we've been waiting for, Ryxtylopia vs Teralyon! The previously unbeaten team going up against the 3rd placed team from last RWC. [Railo]: Intense match in for us. [Eiva]: Yes, anyways what are your opinions? [Railo]: Well the Teralyian team is strong, but their loss with Zoran places many questions on their backs, as they had a worse loss than us, and we faced the hosts, but its clear Tivarra isn't going overconfident into the match. [Tixica]: I think it'll be a good one to watch, our team can win if they play their cards right. I expect Darrias to not ghost out on this one hopefully, he should be a key player considering his attacking potential, while Huilchica will still be the reliable Lock he always is. [Railo]: Good point, last game will be one Darrias will want to forget. [Eiva]: For Teralyon i think they'll try to start off strong, dont know what Tivarra has in mind. [Railo]: Well we wont get the time to contact Gaíves. [Tixica]: NOOOOOOO- [Railo]: Chill he'll be back for the return. [Tixica]: This is your fault Railo! [Railo]: My fault?! [Tixica]: If we hadn't fought over that we wouldn't have to be briefed about conduct and we would have started in time! [Railo]: Look i... With Railo and Tixica starting to argue again, Eiva would decide to not take any risks and leave the bulk of the broadcast for after the match. [Eiva]: Here they go again... CUT!!! [Railo]: Wait- [Tixica]: And like i said, if it wasn't for you being a big no- wait wha- The transmission cuts abbruptly as the match was about to start anyways.
