Giovannilandian 1423 Election Results!
Porto Violeto, Giovanniland — In a surprising turn of events, Elisa Anario-Silva of the Partito Laboristo is slated to become the new Prime Minister of Giovanniland once the transition period ends and the new Senato chooses the leader of Giovanniland for a period of at most five years. Elisa's party attained 133 seats in the national legislature in comparison to the 120 seats won by the Partito Soquale-Verde of the presumably outgoing Prime Minister, Amore Gile Abrente. Although the governing power stays in the hands of the same left-wing coalition (PL, PSV and the far-left Partito Komunista), it is Giovannilandian tradition to always have the Prime Minister of a coalition hail from the party with most seats in it. 
A total of 18,230,986 voters came to the elections, which is a turnout of 75.87% from the total of 24,028,155 citizens with at least 18 years of age. Voters cast their votes for the general election according to their electoral district, where each party chooses one representative to run. Regions and municipalities also elected members to their local legislatures (the Kuria), which in turn choose the leader for the given administrative division.
The results confirm regional trends seen in previous elections, such as the Partito Violetista's strong appelation as a regional party in northern Lavender Island, as well as the domination of left-wing parties in major cities, bringing a large number of votes for their coalition's candidates. Left-wing voters also prevail in the very populous Giovannia Magna, Altana and Lido Flavi regions, whereas the also densely populated southwestern coast of Lavender Island, namely the Primolido and Abrenosto regions, leans more to the right. 
Other political analysts focused on a more national overview of trends as seen in various polls. The graph below gathers together several polls by different sources from the start of the year until three days before the elections, and then the actual results themselves with a prevalent bigger dot at the end. Polls aren't always accurate and only serve to show a snapshot of a specific moment rather than to predict, and this is shown by the fact most polls were predicting a Soquale-Verde win or at least a tie, but instead the Labristas gained a 13-seat advantage over their coalition allies. The surge of the Respublikanos, as well as the fall of the Librale-Demokratas, were also movements not well caught by the polls.

In any case, the final results were 133 seats for the Labristas (26.6%), 120 for the Soquale-Verdes (24%) and 72 for the Komunistas in the governing coalition (14.4%), a joint result of 325 seats which makes 65% of the 500-seat Senato. The other 175 seats represent the opposition parties, with the Respublikanos' 107 (21.4%) accounting for more than half of them, followed by 43 for the Librale-Demokratas (8.6%) and 25 for the Violetistas (4%). Parties who gained seats in comparison to the 1418 Senato were the PK, PL and PR, whereas the PSV and PLD lost seats.
These shifts, besides the obvious effects that they will have in changing the premiership from Amore Gile Abrente to Elisa Anario-Silva, also leave the PR's leader Lauro de Abreo-Florino in a much stronger position to potentially challenge the left-wing coalition in the next elections. Lauro, from the famous Abreo-Florino family that has given several Prime Ministers to Giovanniland in the past, most notably the brothers Tommaso and Kesar that started national industralization in the 12th century, will certainly enjoy influence over his peers from other parties, such as the PLD's Vinikio Lamponi and the PV's Zodeno Fenestella. Also a rising star in politics is the communist leader Valerio Visellio Larone, whose leadership in the party has succeeded in rebuilding the party's influence in Giovannilandian politics after a decline from its previous prominence in the late 13th century.
Meanwhile, in regards to the overall national vote for the parties, the Labristas led with 4,593,621 or 25.2% of the votes, followed by 4,215,195 or 23.12% for the Soquale-Verdes, 3,696,620 or 20.28% for the Respublikanos, 2,758,706 or 15.13% for the Komunistas, 1,871,580 or 10.27% for the Librale-Demokratas, and lastly 1,095,264 or 6.01% for the Violetistas. Due to the nature of the elections being decided in each prefecture and then summed up to make the national Senato, there can be disparities between the popular vote share and seats distribution, this time benefitting mostly the Respublikanos at the cost of the Violetistas. The final legislation composition is shown below:

With elections concluded, we look forward to what the future holds for the country under new leadership. Although Giovanniland has a new leader from a different party, most stances on key national issues and political ideologies are fairly similar between the outgoing Mrs Abrente and the incoming Mrs Anario-Silva. After all, the new Prime Minister can rely on her predecessor's successes, including but certainly not limited to the Quorivo & Kharventhin Esferiad, the development of environmentally-friendly technology to maintain Giovanniland's position in the group of pioneer nations in this field, and continued improvement in social and economic standards across the nation.

The Federal Republic of United Adaikes
The Federal Republic of United Adaikes is a nation found in the eastern-northeastern part of Polaris, bordering Cambria in the west. The sixth most populous country in the continent with about 16 million Adaikesians, the federal government convenes in its capital, Adaikes Central in the Adaikes region.

The nation is divided administratively into 9 regions, Adaikes (the national capital), Ludsport, Marisalia (not in the map below, above Ludsport), Mille-mer (East Mille-mer and West Mille-mer), Ngadabrigg, Saymacrell, Thraproy, and Thurhope. The island regions do not have cities and are managed by the regional government. After an investment by the federal and regional government a few years ago, they have designated Thraproy as the Sports Capital of the United Adaikes.

Thraproy has five (5) cities, Fort Bloom, Neojunc, Perthdoches, Steskia (the regional capital), and Wrarnerbadshot. Sportstown is found in the greater and central Steskia, and to uphold the name of the Sports Capital in the country, stadiums, courts, and other playing venues of every known sport can be seen around the whole region.

Multi-purpose Indoor Sports Coliseum
Located in the New Thraproy Sports Complex in Sportstown, Steskia, the 5-story Multi-purpose Indoor Sports Coliseum is where the United Adaikes Badminton Invitational will occur.
Two floors will be used for the invitational. The Main Hall on the first floor will have the Center Court and Courts A1-A8. The second floor will have Courts B1-B8. Practice courts are also found on all levels of the coliseum.
Transportation
After arriving at the Steskia International Airport (northeastern Steskia, near the borders of Steskia, Perthdoches, and Wrarnerbadshot) and if someone will fetch you and your delegation, or you just want to take a taxi, you can take the STX-SPT Skyway. This dedicated road network will get you from the Steskia International Airport to Sportstown in central Steskia.
There is also a dedicated transit network that will get you from the Steskia International Airport to Sportstown in central Steskia.

Welcome to the 1423 United Adaikes Badminton Invitational! This is a ranking tournament hosted by the United Adaikes, with ranks based on players' performance from the last two Esferiads.
This invitational welcomed 81 players from 22 countries. The host country will also be sending their top four badminton players while providing qualifiers for 11 spots in the Singles event and 2 spots in the Doubles event.
The Team event will still have best-of-3-set matches, with the first set played by the 1st player listed from the nation listed on the left side of the match-up versus the 2nd player listed from the nation listed on the right side of the match-up. The second set will be the opposite of the first set, with the 2nd player listed from the nation listed on the left side of the match-up playing against the 1st player listed from the nation listed on the right side of the match-up. If both matches ended in 1-1, the deciding set (set 3) will be played as doubles to determine who wins the match.
This tournament will run for three days, with the Doubles event to be played on the first day, the Singles event to start on the second day, and the Team event to be played on the last/third day. All events are played in a single-elimination bracket.

This letter has been sent to your house personally by the Tsar of the Confederal Kingdom of Hertfordshire and Jammbo. This will also have reached the house of every resident in the nation. Within this letter you will find updates and reassurances about the latest happenings within the Crystalline Palace, Mamono Hall (on Genesis Avenue) and the Verkhovna Anglia.
Ever since the Hertfordia Wars came to its final conclusion in 1401, the Hertfordshire and Jammbo that was forged in the aftermath has recovered far quicker than anyone would have expected. It may no longer be at the heights of its time as the Hertmerian Empire that once spanned between a third and a half of Andolia, but this ice-covered land has entered a genesis and is enjoying some of its best years. The astounding success in the sporting field, including becoming the champions of the 1st Rugby World Cup and the T20 World Cup, should be the biggest proof of that. We have even introduced a new alphabet to better reflect the original scripture used by the peoples of centuries gone by.
However, in recent weeks, I have been stuck in a deadlock with the Verkhovna Anglia over the issue of the Prime Minister. In 1419, the nation elected Demyan Sahaidachny as Prime Minister, however he was later ousted after he had been found guilty of fraud in relation to his campaign, having stolen most of his campaign ideas from his nephew Clarkov Sahaidachny who was suddenly thrust into the position on account of archaic laws passed long ago. I have been supporting him ever since that day in doing the job and he has performed exceptionally well even with how absurdly shy this boy is, which is why he never comes out for public announcements. Though this is true, he is still a teenager. He became Prime Minister at the age of 12 and is currently 15. The lack of age limit may work in sports where he has achieved gold and silver medals in Javelin and may be the greatest javelinist in Esferos right now, but it does not work in politics.
With that in mind, I have issued a royal decree that amends the rules of the requirements that need to be met in order to run for the office of Prime Minister. From today, the minimum age for a Prime Minister is 25 years old.
To add to this, I must announce the desire of Prime Minister Clarkov Sahaidachny to resign from his post with immediate effect on the 20th March 1423 due to stress and the age issue. His last act in office is to hold a referendum on the system of government, having noticed the feud between myself and members of the Verkhovna Anglia. This will be held in two stages, the first as seen here:

This leaflet will be arriving at your house within the next week. To address a potential concern with the current system, I am fully aware of the citizenry's general opposition to the existence of political parties while at the same time desiring a choice in who leads this country, and thus have included the options of 'absolute monarchy', 'ceremonial monarchy' and 'abolition of the monarchy' on the second stage of the referendum if we do reach that stage.
If Hertfordshire and Jammbo does decide to abolish the monarchy and opt for a Confederal Republic, then this will be my last letter to you. If so, then I thank you all for allowing me to preside over the last ages of the Tsardom.

Chancellor General Valter Bouchere hospitalized
PORT KINGSLEY - Chancellor General Valter Bouchere has been hospitalized at Stade Hospital in Port Kingsley's north, his office confirmed on Tuesday. A cause for his hospitalization has not yet been given, though a source close to Mr Bouchere indicated that it may have been due to complications brought on by a fall last month.

PORT KINGSLEY - CG Valter Bouchere's office says the Chancellor General is now in stable condition and responding well to treatment. It says Mr Bouchere is in good spirits and hopes to be out of the hospital by the week's end.

Election '23: PM Borsch will stand down as Leader of the Social Democrats
SMOLAND — At a press conference in Smoland yesterday, PM Magdalene Borsch has announced she will step down as Leader of the NMSD and will not seek re-election in May's federal elections. 
Borsch's government has been mired in scandal in recent months, including a voter suppression scandal during the Calpesian provincial elections in January. The scandal led to massive outrage and the resignation of multiple ministers, most notably Viktor Kiraly, the Minister of Interior Affairs. Another scandal included accusations of nepotism with awarding government contracts after Electrica, an energy company owned by Borsch's brother Peter, was awarded a contract to provide electricity to areas in southern Crupsea.
In a statement, she said the following:
"As many of you may know, I have always tried to work in this country's best interests. However, I cannot continue my duties as Prime Minister if I cannot lead this country effectively. The people want a government they feel they can trust, and it is evident to me that they do not feel this government can be trusted. It's been an honor to serve as Prime Minister, but I believe it's necessary for me to step down and let new leadership take the reins in order to regain trust in the government and in the NMSD."
A leadership election is expected to occur next month.

Sultan Arif Nazhim Shah with the advice of the Prime Minister agreed to dissolve parliament to elect a new leader. After the two-week campaign period has passed, it is time for voters to choose a new government to help His Majesty Sultan Arifiyyah govern the country.

 APPRECIATION FOR THE FIGHTERS
 
Medina Arif- After a few weeks of the end of the Esferos Football World Cup, a ceremony of gratitude and appreciation for the Arifiyyah Football squad was held at the Main Hall of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This event was attended by His Majesty Sultan Arif Nazim Shah, Prime Minister Arifiyyah, Tan Sri Rais Zuhdi and Dato Isma Daniel as the Minister of Youth and Sports. This ceremony was held to celebrate the success of the Orangutan Rangers squad who had managed to become runner-up in this edition and also to give gifts as promised to His Majesty.
 
                    "This is the highest achievement by the team. I'm really happy for the boys and for the people,even we were lost in the final. But we're all happy with our achievement. The boys deserve the appreciation gift from the government. We will do our best to be the Esferos Football Champion in the next edition", few words from the manager and head coach Mikel Artery. Sultan Arif mention in His speech, hoping that the national sports industry will continue achieve greatness for Arifiyyah Darul Fikr. His Majesty also mention that early preparation needed to the athletes that will be compete in next Esferiad.

As already mentioned in Chapter 1, Fauthur is located in the North-West of Nur, situated on the border of the Great Pacific Ocean and the countries of Kalmach (The UNK) and Campa Simpatica to the North-East and Noton Mast, aswell as Apexiala to the West. 
 
On the different Specifics in the chapters, it wil mostly show informational things like cities, national parks, weather graphs, roads, and tourist attractions.

The North
As one can see, the northern states of the URF are Berklozt, Hoita, and Brae, aswell as the northern parts of Ghask. This region has been around for a very long time in history and were "colonised" before the other Fauthurian states and therefore holds a vast majority of the countrie's sightseeing attractions such as the oldest standing building in Fauthur or the 13 meter high statue of one of the resistance leaders which helped pry Fauthur free from the oppressive hands of the, back then highly oppressive and imperialist, Kalmach. Furthermore it is where most of the important trade ports are being maintained for easy trade to the northern regions of Nur and round east.

Fauthur (Common: Fauthur, officially the United Republics of Fauthur, is a country in North-Western Nur. It is the second most populous country in Nur after Kalmach (the UNK), and houses the strongest military in Nur. Fauthur is situated between the Great Pacific Ocean to the West and the countries of Driex Skad and Kalmach (The UNK) to the East; it covers an area of 712,448 square kilometres (275,078 sq mi), with a population of almost 29,3 million within its 12 states. The URF currently borders no one. The nation's capital and most populous city is West Fauthur, located in the state of West Fauthur, and its economical centre is Crast, located on the coast of South-Eastern Fauthur. It also inhabits a lake called, Great Buntknechtian Hafthian Lake, named after Kerglom Hafth, current Head of Government.
