  3. EPISODE 2 Sultan Arif: "What’s good, everyone? Welcome back to The Royal Tea! Yeah, I know, it’s been a few weeks since episode one, but hey, we’re back, and we got a lot to spill today! I’m your host, Sultan Arif Nazhim Shah, and right here with me as always is my guy Jamal. Say what’s up, bro." Jamal: "What’s up, people? Yeah, we know you’ve all been waitin’. Life’s been a bit nuts lately, but we’re back in the studio. Gotta say, though, Arif, I thought royalty was supposed to be punctual." Sultan Arif: "Ha! Look who’s talking! You’re the one ghosting me. Anyway, let’s dive in. Episode two, we’re talkin’ budgets, trains, and a little football—so stay tuned. Let’s get into this budget first, yeah?" Jamal: "Alright, alright. So, Arif, you got the budget rundown from the cabinet. How’s it lookin’? You seemed pretty hyped." Sultan Arif: "Honestly? I’m super proud. The cabinet went all out. We prioritized health, infrastructure, and jobs, all in line with our goals for Arifiyyah. Everyone on the team did a killer job. Not a single dollar wasted, which is rare, right?" Jamal: "Gotta say, that’s impressive. I remember back in my day in politics—budgets were tight, and everyone wanted a piece of the pie. But tell me, what’s the big win this year?" Sultan Arif: "We’re talkin’ major investments in public healthcare and job creation. We upped the budget to keep clinics funded, plus training for more local medical staff. And then there’s job support—more apprenticeships, more training programs. It’s a game-changer, really." Jamal: "Mad respect. Nothing better than keepin’ the economy strong and people healthy. Good stuff. But, speaking of investments, let’s talk about that Trans-Auran high-speed rail. How’s that beast of a project going?" Sultan Arif: "Man, I’m pumped for that one! Progress has been steady, and once it’s up, we’re lookin’ at way faster travel across the country. It'll connect the big cities, help businesses grow, tourism’s gonna go through the roof. And not to mention, it'll make traveling so much more convenient for everyone." Jamal: "Imagine, just a few hours from one end of Arifiyyah to the other. People are gonna love it. But I’m curious—what’s the economic impact gonna look like? People wanna know if their tax money is gettin’ put to work." Sultan Arif: "Oh, for sure. The economy’s about to get a major boost. We’re talkin’ thousands of jobs during construction, more job opportunities once it’s running, and of course, faster trade routes. Plus, all the tourism and business opportunities that open up along the line? It’s gonna pay for itself down the road, no doubt." Jamal: "Man, if only we had that rail back in the day! Traveling up and down used to be a nightmare." Sultan Arif: "Don’t I know it. Alright, last topic—football, my guy. The World Cup’s coming up, and it’s gonna be Arifiyyah’s third time on the big stage. Got some high hopes this year." Jamal: "Ah, football! I feel like the whole country’s holdin’ its breath. You think we got a shot this time?" Sultan Arif: "Look, we’ve been puttin’ in the work. The team’s young but hungry. Plus, my brother Muhammad Nazhim’s on the squad again—he’s gonna give it everything he’s got. The kid’s been training like a madman, honestly. I think we’re gonna make it past the group stage this time." Jamal: "Nazhim’s a beast, man! Got that spark. He’s what, 26 now?" Sultan Arif: "Yep, 26 and already a key player. And I don’t say that just 'cause he's my brother. He’s been pushing the whole team to step it up. Everyone’s hungry for it. We just need to keep our heads straight and play smart." Jamal: "Well, I think the country’s ready. The World Cup’s got everyone hyped, and if we make it deep, that’s all anyone will talk about. So, what’s your message for Nazhim and the team?" Sultan Arif: "Man, just go out there, play your hearts out, and make us proud. Leave everything on the field, you know? And remember, all of Arifiyyah’s behind you." Jamal: "Couldn’t have said it better, my man. Well, that about wraps it up. We covered budgets, the high-speed rail, and World Cup fever. Anything else you wanna say to the people?" Sultan Arif: "Just wanna thank everyone for the support. We got a lot of exciting things ahead for Arifiyyah, and I couldn’t be prouder of this nation. Stay tuned for more episodes—promise we won’t keep you waiting this long next time!" Jamal: "For real! Thanks for listenin’, everyone. Don’t forget to subscribe, share, all that good stuff. Catch you next time on The Royal Tea!"

  5. EPISODE ONE Jamal: Yo, what's up everyone? Welcome to the first episode of The Royal Tea podcast. I'm Jamal, your favorite politician. And with me is everyone's favorite leader, Sultan Arif Nazhim Shah. How are you doing, your Highness? Can you tell us a little about this podcast? Arif: Hey everyone, peace out. Just call me Arif, man. This podcast is Jamal's idea. If you're wondering, we've been close friends since we were kids. We're like brothers, but from different worlds. So, this podcast is a new way for me to connect with you guys, whether you're from Arifiyyah or watching from around the world. You know Jamal, we young people are into this stuff. Even though I'm a leader, I'm still young and I want to do this. Jamal: Can you tell us more about your outfit today? Arif: Ah yes, this is like casual batik for holiday trip or something. Created by the Palace, designed by myself. I think we need to innovate our traditional wear into something modern but don't overdo. Like mine, simple yet cultured Jamal: So, your Highness, or I guess we can just call you Arif now, some of you might be wondering if this podcast is just for chatting? Nope, we'll be talking about your personal stuff, current events in the country, a bit of politics, and just having fun. We'll also invite other politicians and public figures to join us. Arif: Yeah, Jamal. So, for our first topic, why did you get kicked out of your party? (laughs) Jamal: Woah, that's a hot one. My answer is that it was the party's decision, so whatever. I've said it many times, I'm not pro-government, I just support what's right and fight what's wrong. My leader is just super jealous. Ten of my friends got kicked out too, so we're a gang now. 🤣 Arif: (Laughs) So what are your plans now? Jamal: Hmmm... Just doing podcasts, I think. I need a break from politics for a while. We can get back to playing basketball and badminton. What about you, anything exciting going on? Arif: As usual, a Sultan is never not busy. But yesterday, I visited the TARL national phase construction site with the Minister of Transportation. Alhamdulillah, in Arifiyyah, we expect the first six stations to be operational by the end of this year. I also had a meeting with our Chief Minister yesterday to discuss the 2025 budget, which will be presented soon. Jamal: (claps) That's our Sultan, always on top of his game. So, this episode has gone longer than we planned, huh? We just wanted to do a quick intro. So, that's it for today. Peace out everyone. Arif: Goodbye Arifiyyah, see you again in the next episode!

  10. Political Discussion on Arifiyyah's Recent Reforms Interviewer: Good evening, everyone. Welcome to "Political Insights." Tonight, we have an engaging discussion about the recent constitutional reforms in Arifiyyah, where our proudly young king, Sultan Arif Nazhim Shah, has been making significant changes. Our guests tonight are two distinguished political analysts, Mr. Karim Abdullah and Ms. Laila Rahman. Thank you both for joining us. Mr. Karim Abdullah: Thank you for having me. Ms. Laila Rahman: It’s a pleasure to be here. Interviewer: Let's dive right in. Sultan Arif Nazhim Shah, the fourth sultan in the history of Arifiyyah, has been undertaking substantial constitutional reforms. One notable action is reducing the executive and parliament's powers on foreign policy. Some view this as a move to restore the monarchy's full power, despite the Sultan's denial. Mr. Abdullah, what’s your take on this? Mr. Karim Abdullah: Well, it’s quite evident that the Sultan is steering the country in a direction where the monarchy holds more sway. While he denies wanting to restore the full power of the monarchy, his actions suggest otherwise. This move can be seen as a step back from democratic processes, potentially undermining the checks and balances that are crucial in modern governance. Interviewer: Ms. Rahman, do you share this view? Ms. Laila Rahman: I do see where Mr. Abdullah is coming from, but I believe there’s a different perspective to consider. Sultan Arif Nazhim Shah is a young and dynamic leader. His reforms might be an attempt to streamline foreign policy decisions, ensuring that Arifiyyah can respond more swiftly and effectively to global challenges. Given that over 80% of our population lives in urban areas, a more centralized approach could lead to better-coordinated and faster responses in international matters. Interviewer: Interesting points. Mr. Abdullah, what about the concerns from the radical opposition? They seem particularly worried about these changes. Mr. Karim Abdullah: The radical opposition has valid concerns. The reduction of parliamentary power can be seen as an erosion of democratic principles. It sets a dangerous precedent where the monarchy can unilaterally make decisions without sufficient oversight or input from elected representatives. This could lead to a concentration of power that may not always act in the best interest of the people. Ms. Laila Rahman: I agree that checks and balances are essential. However, we must also acknowledge the unique historical and cultural context of Arifiyyah. The monarchy has always played a significant role in our nation's identity. The Sultan’s actions might be aimed at preserving that heritage while also pushing the country forward. It’s a delicate balance, and while there are risks, there’s also potential for significant positive impact. Interviewer: The people of Arifiyyah haven’t reacted strongly to these changes yet. What do you think this silence indicates? Ms. Laila Rahman: It might indicate a level of trust and respect that the populace has for Sultan Arif Nazhim Shah. His leadership style and vision for the country could be resonating well with the citizens. Alternatively, it could also mean that people are still trying to understand the full implications of these reforms. Mr. Karim Abdullah: Or it could be a sign of apprehension. People might be waiting to see how these changes play out before expressing their opinions. In a semi-absolute monarchy, voicing dissent can be risky, so there might be an undercurrent of concern that isn’t being openly expressed. Interviewer: In closing, what would you say is the best way forward for Arifiyyah, considering these recent reforms? Ms. Laila Rahman: I believe the best way forward is a balanced approach. The Sultan should continue his reforms but ensure that there is adequate consultation with the executive and parliament. This way, we can achieve both efficiency and maintain democratic integrity. Mr. Karim Abdullah: I agree. It’s crucial for the Sultan to engage with all political factions and the public. Transparency and dialogue will be key in navigating these reforms and ensuring that they truly benefit Arifiyyah as a whole. Interviewer: Thank you both for your insightful perspectives. This concludes our discussion on the recent constitutional reforms in Arifiyyah. Stay tuned for more updates on this evolving story. Good night.

  15. ARIFIYYAH'S POLITICAL PROCESS We bring a special segment today to explain to the world the unique and complex political pattern in Arifiyyah. Arifiyyah practices a monarchy with semi-absolute power and a constitution that can be amended. The Sultan's Guide is the highest constitution that has been enacted by Sultan Arifyyah II and can be enacted with the consent of the Sultan himself and the people's memorandum. Among the Sultan's absolute powers include foreign affairs, religious affairs, taxation, local government powers, and the military. Tun Bendahara is the fourth most powerful individual in the national government hierarchy after the Sultan, the Sultan's consort, and the Crown Prince. Tun Bendahara acts as a royal advisor and also has some authority over the executive body called the National Administrative Council, which is formed from the majority of the parliament. This position is appointed from the majority coalition in parliament and will take oath Infront of Sultan. The Tun Bendahara and the executive body are empowered in a number of matters including domestic affairs, international trade, national budget matters and other matters enshrined in the national constitution. Arifiyyah also practices parliamentary democracy where 222 parliamentary representatives (the latest number) are elected by the people to represent their respective areas. The majority component will act as the "government" and will be called the National Administrative Council under the leadership of the Sultan and the "head of the government" will be called the Tun Bendahara. Parliament has the power to legislate on matters related to crime, social security, science and technology and others that are important to the people. In the judiciary, the Arifiyyah Supreme Court is a body independent of executive power except for the Sultan as the supreme chief judge, assisted by the Chief Justice and the Attorney General. The Sultan can judge serious cases in the supreme court according to the recommendations of the chief justice. The Supreme Court is at the top of the hierarchy followed by the high courts in each state and then the magistrates' courts at the lowest level. So, it is hoped that this segment will provide a basic explanation to all viewers about the uniqueness of the Arifiyyah government system. Hope to see you again!
  16. THE REAL CHALLENGE Good day football fans! We're reporting from Ryxtylopia. The Orangutan Rangers qualified to the Round of 16 after getting 1st place in Group D. AT age 20,he completed his C coaching license and degree in corporate management, then started to coach Permata Pantai FC Youth. He won the Reserve league at age 21. Insanely,he won as a coach, not a player. Then at age 28,he started to manage Permata Pantai FC main team. He teh won the Arifiyyah Premier League and Sultan Arifiyyah Cup few years ago. He was given the responsibility to coach the Orangutan Rangers 3 years ago,and doing a very well job With Classic 433 attacking and sometimes switching to 4231 formation, the team be ome unstoppable. Using Muhammad Nazhim as the playmaker, and Kane as the Target man is very brilliant move. Traditionally play passing style, giving advantage to the team to hold the most possession in the game. Hopefully the great performance will continue in the qualification round till the final. Artery, bring the Cup to home!

Another good news for all of us, Arifiyyah won 2-1 over Zoran after Harry Kane successfully completed the penalty kick in the 84th minute. The penalty kick was awarded after a handball by Zoran's player in the penalty box. However, sad news also after the physiologists have confirmed that Lee Jian Xing has been diagnosed with an ACL injury and has been removed from the roster. We pray for Jian Xing's speedy recovery. POST MATCH INTERVIEW Reporter: How do you rate the performance of your players in this match? Mikel: Good, even though we only win 1 goal ahead in three consecutive games, but a win is a win. I hope they will continue their excellent performance until the final. Reporter: Can you comment on Lee Jian Xing's injury? Mikel: Pretty bad, but that's fate. The depth of our squad is high, so there is no need to worry. All I can say is that Jian Xing is in the process of being sent back to his homeland to receive further treatment, we pray for his speedy recovery. The young Saliba was also good earlier, I have already seen Jian Xing's replacement. Reporter: We are also with Jian Xing. For the next match coach, what is your comment? Mikel: The main goal and hope is victory, of course, hoping for a goal fest, and a clean sheet is also obtained. The mood of the players is very positive after three wins, so my players must be confident that they will show their best performance. However as always, may the best win. MATCHDAY 4 PREVIEW We're predicting some rotation might be done by Artery. William Saliba will replace the injured Jian Xing at the back, maybe Hansel Woodwork will get another chance to play,he did pretty well against Dalimbar. ARFSPORTS @ ARIFIYYAH'S TIMES
