Chapter  1

General Information

 

                                                                   

 

Fauthur (Common: Fauthur, officially the United Republics of Fauthur, is a country in North-Western Nur. It is the second most populous country in Nur after Kalmach (the UNK), and houses the strongest military in Nur. Fauthur is situated between the Great Pacific Ocean to the West and the countries of Driex Skad and Kalmach (The UNK) to the East; it covers an area of 712,448 square kilometres (275,078 sq mi), with a population of almost 29,3 million within its 12 states. The URF currently borders no one. The nation's capital and most populous city is West Fauthur, located in the state of West Fauthur, and its economical centre is Crast, located on the coast of South-Eastern Fauthur. It also inhabits a lake called, Great Buntknechtian Hafthian Lake, named after Kerglom Hafth, current Head of Government.

 

The 12 Fauthurian States are as follows; (In condescending order)

In the North; Berklozt, Hoita, Brae                  

In the West; West Fauthur, Het, Velz               

In the East; Ghask, Torght                                

In the South; Gelcc, Gar, Mila, Sur                   

Which Velz, Mila and Sur are islands, in addition to the island of Irib in the East.

 

Fauthur also inhabits Districts, of which each has their own license Plate code.

Chapter  2

Geography of the URF

 

As already mentioned in Chapter 1, Fauthur is located in the North-West of Nur, situated on the border of the Great Pacific Ocean and the countries of Kalmach (The UNK) and Campa Simpatica to the North-East and Noton Mast, aswell as Apexiala to the West. 

 

On the different Specifics in the chapters, it wil mostly show informational things like cities, national parks, weather graphs, roads, and tourist attractions.

 

Once we have taken a swift look at this map, you can count all official 13 States that occupy The United Republics of Fauthur. 

Then let's move down a layer so we can see a map of the 36 Districts Fauthur is divided by.

 

The North

As one can see, the northern states of the URF are Berklozt, Hoita, and Brae, aswell as the northern parts of Ghask. This region has been around for a very long time in history and were "colonised" before the other Fauthurian states and therefore holds a vast majority of the countrie's sightseeing attractions such as the oldest standing building in Fauthur or the 13 meter high statue of one of the resistance leaders which helped pry Fauthur free from the oppressive hands of the, back then highly oppressive and imperialist, Kalmach. Furthermore it is where most of the important trade ports are being maintained for easy trade to the northern regions of Nur and round east. 

 

Berklozt

Berklozt is along with Brae and Hoita one of the first established states of the URF and holds the national title for the most crime free region in all of the URF. It is divided into several districts (Lendkrese), which would then also be divided into municipalities:

Politics

The Government And How It Works

Fauthur has a somewhat complicated system when it comes to enacting laws or making general changes to the government and governing laws.

Here is a short text explaining the processes of the government, and what they do.

 

1. Every year is a voting cycle. Here the people can vote for a party. If a party gets the highest votes for the cycle, they may elect a Head of Government (HoG) within their party. Every two years, there is a minority party voting cycle. Here the minority voting parties get thrown in with the parties already in congress to see if they will surpass the voting threshold to be elegible for a representative seat in congress                           
2. The party which got the highest votes will have a seat in Government, as the reigning government power, along with the Head of Government                                                                                                           
3. The Head of Government gets 5-10 votes in the congress according to how sizeable the congress is                                                                                   
4. For a law, act, resolution or similar to be passed, the congress, which votes on that, needs atleast a 60% positive voting rate for it to be passed. Whereas the reigning party needs needs to rely on atleast one other party, also depending on how sizeable, to pass such a law, act, resolution or similar                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
5. The Congress is made out of about 450~550 politicians                                                                                                                                                            
6. For a party to become elegible to be voted for in congress, it needs to pass a voting popularity of 2.5% in the 2 year minority party votes                                                                                                        
7. The congress may hold emergency elections/votings if over 68% of the populace are not satisfied/ unhappy with the current congress or even both Head of Government and Head of State. Public surveys have to be held by the Head of Government on at max. a two year basis. One may also hold the surveys sooner. If the Head of Government fails to do so, they will be immediately removed from power and the voting cycle gets initiated early              

 

1. 1.Once the HoG is chosen, the Head of State (HoS) election process begins. (Note that the HoS election process may only be started, once 5 years from the previous election has passed) The HoG may pick 6 candidates whom must not have been HoG or HoS in the past 10 years and must not exceed 2 canditates from their own party                                                                                                                                                                
2. The candidates that were picked get to be voted on by the populace. Once the populace have voted, a new Head of State will be elected                                                                                     
3. The new HoS will now be able to manually elect a small cabinet of ministers for the minister positions and from here will act as a ceremonial piece in the Government, something like a king or a president to meet other Heads of States along with the Head of Government

Section 1: Scope and when to use and prosecute laws 

Subject – Criminal Suspect 

§1 - No Prosecution without Law 

  

A crime may only be prosecuted, if the crime was committed while there is a written law against it. If there would be no Law against such crime before and during the crime was committed, the subject who committed the crime may not be held liable for said crime. 

 

§2 - Timely uses 

 

1. The punishment and its side effects are only applicable with the law that is being broken at the time of crime. 

2. If in any case the crime being committed changes at the time of crime (e.g., from insulting a person to attacking them), the crime committed at the end of the act must be prosecuted. 

 

§3 - Scope of crime prosecution 

The Fauthurian General Law is only applicable in the very country of Fauthur itself, as well as all oversea territories that are de jure property of the country of Fauthur and if certain laws state otherwise or extend upon it. 

 

§4 - Prosecution of crime aboard Fauthurian Aircraft and Sea Vessels, as well as Fauthurian Trains in and out of the country 

The Fauthurian General Law is applicable, regardless of the place of crime and crime committed, if the place of crime is on de jure and de facto property of the country of Fauthur, as well as Ships, Trains, and Planes that are allowed to fly and use the flag and decal of the country of Fauthur, which place of origin and ownership, as well as the place of the owning entity is located on Fauthurian territory. Hereby ships, trains, and planes of the country of Fauthur which are journeying internationally are to be considered Fauthurian property, to which all laws are applicable. Hereby every law that is not Fauthurian law will not be used and acknowledged, referring to this paragraph. 

 

§5 - Foreign crimes which have relation to the country of Fauthur 

The Fauthurian General Law is also applicable, independent from the place of crime, for following crimes that are committed internationally: 

1. High Treason 

 

2. Endangering the integrity of the democratic state

3.  Treason to the country of Fauthur and endangering external security and integrity 

 

4. Crimes against national defence 

A) If the subject is of Fauthurian nationality and their place of residence is abroad  

 

5. Crimes against personal freedom 

A) When the crime is committed against an individual of Fauthurian Nationality, which place of residence is in the country of Fauthur itself 

B ) When the crime is committed by an individual of Fauthurian nationality which is committed against individuals which do not have Fauthurian Nationality 

 

6. Crimes against company secrets 

A) When the company is of Fauthurian origin, is situated abroad and is dependent on Fauthurian law  

 

7. Crimes against life 

A) When the subject is Fauthurian at the time of crime and has their place of residence within the country of Fauthur 

 

7a. Crimes against bodily wellbeing 

A) If the reproductive capability is lost and the subject is of Fauthurian nationality 

 

8. sports betting scams and manipulations if the crime is targeted on a competition that happens in the country of Fauthur (e.g., If the subject is manipulating sports competitions in Fauthur from abroad) 

 

 9. Crimes which a Fauthurian government official or individual in public service is committing during active service 

 

10. Crimes which a foreigner as a government official representative or as an individual in public service is committing during active service 

 

11. If a crime is committed against a government official or against an individual in public service, especially against a soldier in the armed forces during active service or in relation to their duties 

 

12. Bribery of government officials and individuals in public service 

 

13. Organ trade during which the subject is Fauthurian 

 

§6 - Foreign crimes against internationally protected cargo 

The Fauthurian general law is applicable, independent from the laws of the place of crime, during these crimes committed abroad: 

1. Nuclear energy, explosives and radiation crimes  

 

2. Attacks on air and naval travel 

 

3. Human trafficking 

 

4. Illegal trade of narcotics 

 

5. Spreading pornographic contents which involve minors, bodily harm and unvoluntary sexual acts 

 

6. Counterfeiting and falsifying working credit/debit cards, as well as their preparation 

 

7. Subsidy fraud 

 

8. Crimes which are to be prosecuted due to an international agreement, are also to be prosecuted internationally 

 

§7 - Time of Crime 

A crime is only then committed, when the subject has acted, or in some cases, not acted. The time at which the crime succeeds is not taken into consideration. 

 

§8 - Place of crime 

1. A crime is only there committed, where the subject has acted, or in some cases, not acted. It is also there committed, where the subject succeeded with the crime. 

 

2. The partaking of the crime is then committed, when at the same place as the subject, as well as at the place where the crime would be to happen. Innocent bystanders will not be prosecuted. If the subject or partaking subject has committed a foreign crime in the country of Fauthur, the Fauthurian General Law is applicable, even when the place of crime does not have laws in place to permit prosecuting. 

 

§9 - Special regulations for minors 

For crimes committed by minors, the Fauthurian General Law is only then applicable, if there is nothing else proclaimed in other, relating to the crime, specific law books.
