I am both excited and worried... What if he doesn't makes it? What if I hate it? This same thing happened with Smith, but he was so crazy to being with that I felt back like in Classic times without actually being the same...

Is hard to be a Whovian man

The new Doctor hails from Glasgow, so be prepared for some head-butting, flying objects and friendly banter embellished with the liberal use of the "f" word!

Is this an appropriate time to admit that I didn't like the Smith version of The Doctor?  Will I be vilified and chastized?

:o

Smith is my daughter's favorite.

My little girl's favorite too. But I like Eccleston more from the new ones, and from the classic ones, Baker.

Well, I overall liked it. He has darker undertones than previous versions, more sinister... Think of them a little bit like 10ths final days, when he saves a woman who then suicides... We do not had the chance to dig deeper into his nature, since half of the chapter he is still playing "confused" because of the regeneration, but he seems to be curious and quick to get in trouble, which would make him interesting of course.

I also liked the fact that the overall arc has already been placed in motion since chapter 1, so we have something to look forward while each adventure happens :D
