Interestingly enough, I don't think of Raiders as evil. The play a part of the game I am not fond of, but I have privately raided in the past (and I have also defended) and I can tell you both sides draw fun out of what sometimes can be a very dull game.

*Wheezes after writing 3 articles in a few days*

Oh well, good thing I'm a fast writer! Anyway, Issue 2 is out in the link here! Hope it's good!

Or, if you want to stay in the forums...

    Help Wanted at TWP! (Please?)
Well, I guess it’s just me this entire issue, so… let’s get this through. Okay, so The West Pacifican (what the TWP in the title was referring to) is a newspaper we hope to have every month or so, though the progress of releasing issues has gone slower than Jim Gilmour’s 2016 presidential campaign, which is why I am asking you for help writing the newspaper to write stories.
Basically, all you need is an idea, and preferably good grammar and spelling skills (at least better than what you find on the YouTube comments section), then, just write a couple short paragraphs about whatever you want related to TWP or NS that you think people will find interesting, then send it to my puppet [nation=short]The West Pacifican[/nation]. Simple! Anyways, now that I made my cry for assistance, let’s move on…

    Election Under Way!
As you may or may not know, the 2016 election for WA Secretary-General is underway, and our own [nation=short]Benjamin Mark[/nation] is running for the esteemed office, but didn’t exactly make the second round, so we switched our support to [nation=short]Mikeswill[/nation], and we urge you to be a true West Pacifican™, and vote for We Are Not TBH! “But how?” you ask, well, first if you read this in the next few days, you will see a small, turquoise banner near the top displaying election numbers. Click on it, and you’ll be taken to the election page, from there, click “vote” and select whoever TWP supports next!

What are we Voting for, though?!
The 2016 WASG election is underway at the same time as the US presidential election and the Zogradi Prime Ministerial election in a few weeks, but what is the first thing, exactly? Well, to explain it to a degree in which I can explain it, it is the election for the WA Secretary-General. As of the release of this article, we have had three primary rounds, and are now in the General Election, and we (TWP) have switched support from Benjamin Mark to Mikeswill, and are now supporting [nation=short]We Are Not TBH[/nation], keep in mind we’re against much of NS, including non-WA members. Yes! Non-WA members can vote for the head of the WA, like if I, being an American, voted for who will be the EU chancellor. But hey, can’t hurt, can it? (We’ll probably be fine)

A bespectacled poindexter weasels his way to the front of the crowd. "Of course the fruits of our labour are imperfect, we're operating on mere pennies a day." He pats his pocket protector reassuringly. "If our laboratories had more funding we could produce super-foods! Just think of the opportunities, not only would our populace never go hungry again, we could create an army of sapient cabbages to rule the world!" He is escorted away by security, laughing maniacally.

I was most excited for Deadpool, and boy was it good! 10/10 hands down, highly recommend it. It nicely covered the persona and tragedy of deadpool, had great acting, solid writing, and a lot of good jokes

There are areas and threads where the issue does not happens, others it will.
The easiest approach is to write up your post, hit POST and then (if it doesn't goes through normally), wait 10 seconds and then RELOAD the thread. Most likely your post will be there

    Drach,

Just a short note to say that the Index of Daily Issues is a bit behind with 20 new issues not yet posted.  I have placed the last 3 Issues, #474, #475 and #475, on the Nation States **SPOILER ALERT** thread as my most recent offering there    Checked back through the index postings and found that I had posted 13 as 'first reported' - didn't think it was that many

    #474: Mesozoic Park [Asterdan; ed:Sedgistan]
#475: Where Have All The Flowers Gone? [Palaiologos II; ed:Lenyo]
#476: A Farewell To Raised Arms? [Nation of Quebec; ed:Gnejs]

The peoples' of Mayor Tweedy are from anywhere and everywhere and their traditions are many-fold and holidays numerous. If the inhabitants share a common ethos, it's one based on an end of year event called Hogmanay extended over nine months of the New Year, enabling the people partake in a bit of cleaning-up and some even going to work!

Anyway. In my mind, the Delegate is the source of all authority and power, and so any powers should flow from that position.

At the same time though, 'legitimacy' involves a certain level of respect for others. Sometimes erroneously called a democratic mandate. I think the Delegate has to balance their own power to a degree with the community.

So ideally a system would be cooperative between the Delegate, who holds the power, and some kind of assembly of the nations the Delegate leads.

I don't think this needs to be overly formalised. The absolute worst thing I can imagine is us getting bogged down in obsessions over laws and amendments and all that nonsense that makes TNP look so very tedious.

Elegarth reacted to Yy4u in Christmas in TWP
    The night before Christmas(TWP style)
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the region,
Not a nation was posting, cause they were all sleepin'!
The preferences all set to vacation mode with care,
In hopes that St Delegarth soon would be there.
The newbs were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of endorsements danced in their heads.
And mamma in her slippers, and a cat in my lap,
Had just settled down for a long movie recap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should show,
But a miniature sleigh, and five tiny RO's.
With a little old driver, so lively and swarth,
I knew in a moment it must be St Delegarth!
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now PD!, now Yy,!, now Badger and Medio!
On Bhang Bhang! On all you, we got to go!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of endos, and St Delegarth too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard, just out of view,
The prancing and pawing of each little shoe.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Delegarth came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of endos he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And sent all endorsements, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

If NPS indeed participated as part of the DEN team, we may as well elevate the decision to our judiciary system, which is flexible enough to simply be called to act.
I do like to point out this attitude is troublesome, Malv:

If you have FACTs, then just show them and I'm sure the advocate can simply put this in the hands of our judiciary articles, without anyone throwing a tantrum...
