Hello and welcome to the signup/OOC thread for the Second Summer Esferiad!! (yes we decided to rename it!) UA and Fujai will each be scorinating half of the days. An RP thread will be posted nearer to the beginning of the games with more information on the IC host cities, Quoriv and Kharventhin of Giovanniland and Blue Bubble.
Signups will be open for 2 weeks until Saturday October 23
The Games will run over 15 days from the 24th of October to the 7th of November

These Games are open only to nations on the RP Map. If you are not on the map and would like to participate, follow the instructions here and you may sign up once your map request has been fully processed.

List of Events
Preliminary Schedule
Team sports (handball, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, football, field hockey, rugby sevens, beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, water polo) begin with group stages followed by a knockout tournament. Badminton Singles and Doubles, Boxing Lightweight and Heavyweight, Tennis Singles and Doubles, Fencing Épée, Foil, and Sabre Individual, Judo, Karate Kumite and Kata, Taekwondo, and Wrestling consist of knockout tournaments taking place over two days.
Group and tournament schedules are subject to change depending on how many signups we have.
The Gymnastics events are handled via one signup entry—all gymnastics athletes participate in the same 6 events, with medals for each event as well as Individual All-Around and Team-All Around.
The Swimming, Track, and Field Individual All-Around events will only take place if there are enough entries. The Team All-Around event for those sports will take place regardless of the number of entries.
Signing Up
You may submit a maximum of 150 entries spread over the events. To submit your signup, you may either use the provided spreadsheet exclusively, or download the it for use in the text or spreadsheet editor of your choice and post your signup in this thread.
Please use the format shown in the instructions below exactly when submitting your signup, as it makes our jobs a lot easier. You may be asked to fix formatting errors before your signup is accepted.
Rules, Guidelines, and Notes
Entry Limit You are limited to 150 total entries You do not have to enter every event, nor do you have to use all 150 entries—in fact, we recommend you tailor how many entries and what events you enter to what would make sense for your nation You may also enter athletes into multiple events (e.g. 200 m Freestyle, 1500 m Freestyle, and 200 m Backstroke), but this still counts as multiple entries toward the 150 entry limit The signup sheet automatically tracks your number of entries (specifically it counts the number of non-empty cells in the skill column) Skill Modifiers New to these games! Skill modifiers must be whole numbers (0, 1 , 2, etc) from 0 to 100. You may choose not to assign skill modifiers to your athletes—in this case, they will all be assigned a skill of 50. Skill Average The average skill of all your entries may not exceed 50, but it can be lower! The signup sheet automatically tracks your skill average Min-Max Avoidance Bonus (MMAB) A bonus based on the standard deviation of your entries' skill will be used, weighted at 20% of the total RP bonus for any given day. You can exceed the standard deviations listed, but your MMAB will lessen the further you go outside the limits and your delegation may suffer because of it. 1-10 entries: Full MMAB for any standard deviation 11-35 entries: Full MMAB for standard deviation of 35 or less 36-75 entries: Full MMAB for standard deviation of 30 or less 76+ entries: Full MMAB for standard deviation of 25 or less NOTE: We aren't able to easily test how well this will work, so please bear with us The signup sheet automatically tracks your standard deviation Signup Changes Changes to signups will be accepted until signups close, but they must be made as a new reply to this thread—you don't have to repost your entire signup. If you don't make a new post, we probably won't see your changes. Create a duplicate of the Master Signup sheet (right click→"duplicate") and retitle the sheet with the name of your nation/delegation. Skip this step if you are downloading the spreadsheet to create your signup elsewhere. Enter your nation's trigram in the trigram space (this should be 3 letters and can be found on the main RP Spreadsheet). Do Not edit anything else in the header. Enter your athletes' names in the left hand column under the event they will be participating in. Please use the correct formatting as shown in the example in Step 5. The number next to the event name refers to the maximum number entries you are allowed to submit for that event—it also gives direction for what kind of entry to submit. Enter a Skill Modifier for your athlete/team. This is a number between 0 and 100, with 0 representing an athlete just making the qualification standard (i.e. still decent compared to the average person), and 100 representing the world's best. Follow the following format exactly, as it makes our jobs much easier. You may be asked to fix formatting errors before your signup is accepted. For events with only a number next to the event name — e.g. (2) — it is an individual event and you must give the name of each participating individual on a separate line (you may enter fewer than the maximum number). For team events with a specific team size indicated — e.g. (1 team of 2) — you must give the name of each team member on a single line, separated by slashes with no space between the slash and the names. For team events that say only (1 team), use the name of your nation/delegation rather than the names of any team members. You may post team rosters for these events in the RP thread once it is created closer to the start of the Games. Atsil packed the final articles of clothing into her bag as the words of the woman in her dream echoed in her head,

She couldn’t stop thinking of those words recently and one name appeared in her head as she thought more about the “son of the basket weaver”—Kunagadoga. The person responsible for the suffering of so many people and whose attention she attracted back in high school, but back then it was a less malevolent and more...creepy form of attention. And she is grateful she turned him down back then after what CGZ told her about his sister two days before.
Atsil was so deep in thought that she didn’t notice CGZ leaning against the door frame with his hands buried in his pockets,
“Are you ready to head out?” he asked. Atsil turned to see him wearing black denim pants, a black cotton sweater, and his black ski mask with sunglasses over them. But he also had what seemed to be a utility belt.
“I just finished packing,” Atsil said with a sigh, “but I am not sure I am ready to...face the music.” CGZ walked up to her and put a hand on her shoulder,
“I know you are probably expecting me to say some sappy, inspirational crap but to be honest I don’t understand what you are going through. You are in a unique situation that no one can really relate to in any way. But what you are about to go into is something that no one can be prepared for and you have prepared yourself the best you could. At this point, you are this country’s only hope, so you have to do this whether you feel ready or not.” Despite how blunt CGZ was being, Atsil couldn’t help but feel comforted by his words. Atsil went for a hug but CGZ stepped away and held a hand up,
“There isn’t time for sentimentality, it is time for me to take you to the Monarchists. Come find me when you are mentally prepared.” And with that, CGZ left Atsil in his sister’s old room.
CGZ walked with purpose towards the library for what might be for the last time. He wasn’t a fool, he had been keeping an eye on the situation in Zoran and he saw Kunagadoga’s flight to Cambria and he had a sneaking suspicion on what the business he had there was about. He sat at his desk and let out a sigh, he knew that his actions at the Olympics were going to catch up with him sooner or later.
My sister would have been so much better at this than me. She was all about the ‘stealing things with style’ attitude of the CGZ mantle. Me, I am too concerned about safety to do things right.
His eyes drifted to the drawer where he put the last picture he and his sister took together at the beach. He pulled open the drawer to look at it but he saw a folded piece of paper beneath it, something he never noticed before. He set the picture aside and unfolded the piece of paper to read it.

If you are reading this then you must be having some doubts about yourself or are going through some tough times. I know how much you wish you could be like me and have the confidence that I have(You should get a better lock for your “journal” by the way), but you are incredible in your own way. Throughout our family history, no CGZ has been the same, they never had to be like their predecessor to be successful. Take our ancestor, Captain CGZ or Captain Stormrider as he was more commonly known, his predecessor was the exact opposite of his personality. His predecessor was more interested in developing a mystique around himself and being undetected in his heists. But when Captain Stormrider took up the mantle of CGZ in 1116 AF, he claimed to have started the Golden Age of Piracy in Aura when he stole a ship off the line and started raiding ships, especially during storms which is what got him his name. He was a lot more flamboyant, daring, and mentally unstable than his predecessor and was extremely successful.
Even though you aren’t going to be the next CGZ, just know that you can be yourself like our ancestors and still be successful in whatever path you walk down. You were always better at planning two steps ahead than me and you are great with technology and engineering. Those are two talents that I don’t have that you do. You will do great things, Kariwase, and know that I will always be with you no matter where you go or what you do. But always remember that our family, through CGZ, is the champion of the people and even if you aren’t CGZ, always remember to support the less fortunate and to be a champion of the people in your daily life.

CGZ felt tears well up in his eyes. It's funny how she talked about planning two steps ahead when she wrote this knowing that I might be going through a hard time. He missed her every day of this life since she was sold by Kuna, and every day he wishes he had done more to stop her from seeing him in the first place. But her words from the past renewed the confidence he had in himself and made him remember the legacy his family worked to leave behind, one that supported the people and those without a voice in the world.
Maybe by helping Atsil, I am living up to that legacy in my own way. But what if this doesn’t have to be the end for my legacy...
But before he could develop that train of thought any further, Atsil walked into the room with her bag in tow.
“I’m ready to go.” CGZ nodded and led her to the vehicle storage where there was an ATV that was waiting for them.
“You have an ATV too?” asked Atsil,
“Not until yesterday.” answered CGZ as he got on it,
“So you stole it.”
“Atsil, I am the latest in a dynasty of thieves, what do you expect?”Atsil didn’t bother saying any more as she put her bag on the back and joined CGZ on the ATV.
“Hang on, it might be a bumpy ride.” CGZ said as the engine came to life. Atsil grabbed onto CGZ as he zoomed through the tunnels until they came out of a secret passage that landed them in the middle of the jungle. The trees and vines were a blur as CGZ drove the ATV through forgotten trails made back when the years Saint Mark ruled the land. And after about an hour or so an ancient Saint Markian fortress came into view. CGZ brought the ATV to a stop when they reached a clearing in front of the entrance to the fortress. A group of monarchist soldiers approached, rifles aimed at CGZ as they didn’t seem to see Atsil behind him,
“Who are you and what are you doing here?” asked one of the soldiers. CGZ lowered his head to make Atsil’s face visible to the soldiers. When they saw her, they immediately dropped to one knee and their right arm crossed their chest and their hand clenched in a fist over their left shoulder. This drew attention from others taking watch at the fort and a crowd could be seen forming on the different floors of the fort. CGZ got off of the ATV and helped me off of it as an older man approached from the entrance of the fort and knelt down the same way the other soldiers have.
“Uh, you may rise. There is no need to kneel like that.” Atsil said nervously. The older man rose with the other soldiers,
“My lady, I am General Waholi of the Monarchist forces. It is a pleasure to see you safe at last.” he then looks over at CGZ, “This must be the legendary CGZ. Thank you for keeping Atsil safe.”
“Oh please, I didn’t do it for you or your cause. I did it to keep Kuna from getting power.” Waholi simply nodded in response before returning his attention to Atsil,
“It will bring much joy to the troops to be under the command of their queen. We look forward to seeing how you lead.” Waholi said. CGZ heard a branch snap behind them and tackled Atsil to the ground right as the shot of a rifle echoed through the jungle, the bullet whizzing past them by an inch. The entire fort sprung into action along with the troops in the clearing. CGZ looked up to try and pinpoint where the shot came from.
“We can’t have that unfortunately, Ani’-Wah’ and CGZ are coming with us!” yelled the voice of Kunagadoga from the trees.
What is he doing here?! He is literally going to die here!...Actually, would that really be a bad thing?
CGZ thought to himself as he laid over Atsil on the ground in the middle of a standoff between Monarchist and Corporate forces that were about to break out into a full blown battle.

Jamie Marshall ran frantically through the halls of Windlar Castle to the King's office with a map of Zoran in hand. He had called beforehand to tell the King to stay in the office. He knocked on the door and entered the office to find King Maddy IV sitting on the couch by the fireplace.
"Sir the Corporates have pushed into Gagotigakanvsgi and have managed to defeat the GDC and the Monarchist forces in the province," he said as he pointed to the province on the map.
King Maddy IV replied," That is a matter of concern. This one right? That looks like an important province, considering it's proximity to the Southern island of Zoran, and the huge chunks of contested areas."
"Yes sir. It was a big loss in Gagotigakanvsgi for the monarchists. We need to do something."
"Yes that we do. Send Prince Sergio to Saint Mark to talk with Prince Marcarius about this situation. Talk about this situation with them and come to a mutual agreement on how we can help. Establish contact with Prince Dominic. Make sure that only Dominic hears what you talk about."
"Yes sir."
"Tell him to talk with the General and ask him how he feels about Larxian secret agents in Zoran."
"But sir, why do you need to ask. You can just send them there. Who would find out?"
"Marshall it's not about who would find out. We are supporting the Monarchists because we respect their sovereignty. And right now we need them to trust us. We don't need their distrust, especially when we want to help them."
"Yes Sir. Right away."
"Just contact [-redacted-] and ask him to ready the agents. If the general doesn't mind, tell him to deploy them instantly to the different provinces. I want four agents per province to be ready and awaiting orders."
"Yes sir, your Highness. I'll talk to him immediately. Will that be all?"
"Yes, now hurry. I want a verbal report soon. Just talk to the President and give him the memo. Tell him to be alert about the Zoranian situation."
"Yes Sir."

Oh, and I've just been told that quite a few groups of Santo-Dominian cricket fans flew here to cheer for the team, but apparently mistook our Santo-Dominian players as Nieubasrian players and didn't cheer at all when our country's cricket players emerged from customs. It has been said that those fans were confused due to both the Santo-Dominian and Nieubasrian team uniforms using yellow as the primary colour, but we're still trying to get some additional information about that unfortunate incident."
"In the meantime, we've also managed to completely miss the opening ceremony! The bosses back in Friberne only sent one camera crew with us, and all of us were on the same delayed flight. Anyways, we've been told that our yellow-loving competitors from Nieubasria, as well as all the other teams, have attended the opening ceremony. I'm sure both Santo-Dominian and Nieubasrian fans won't be puzzled if the two teams face off against each other. That was sarcasm. Did I pull off sarcasm? I'm being scolded by my assistant who has mouthed that I shouldn't have clarified that I was being sarcastic. Alright, let's move on from that failure!"
"Wait a minute, that's the end of this broadcast? Okay! Haha! I'm totally not embarrassed at all. Santo-Dominian cricket fans, as well as the Santo-Dominian Cricket Association, are to sure to pay very close attention to this Cup, given that this is the first time Santos-Dominius has contested an international cricket competition! The sun rises over the horizon as Quiyakaso adjusts his tie in a public bathroom of the New Larxia Airport. First sports broadcast of the new public news network of Zoran and his first day on the job. He hopes his luck has turned around and that nothing bad happens during his recording. He lets out a deep breath before making his way out of the bathroom and towards the terminal where the Zoranian team had arrived.
"Going live in 3...2...1..." The producer said as he motion for my broadcast to begin,
"Good morning people of Zoran! I am Quiyakaso Gohalitsve and welcome to the first live broadcast for the RNN's new sports news segment! We are live at the New Larxia Airport to witness the arrival of our cricket team! Many other teams have arrived the day before but our team's flight was delayed because of a storm over the airport last night that prevent them from taking off. Our team has high hopes for this world cup and despite the damage and disruption that the past year has caused, our team has been practicing in whatever way they could. They hope to bring home some glory to Zoran and its people to show that despite its recent troubles the country could still compete with the best in the international community! The Queen herself has wished the team the best of luck during this competition and that regardless of the outcome of this competition that the country will know they played the best they could." Behind him, the cricket team came walking out of the gate with smiles on their faces,
"And here they are now folks! The Zoranian Cricket team! They are excited to compete with other nations on the international stage to test their abilities with the best of the best. They have practiced in warzones, ruined fields, and the rainforests of Zoran and anywhere they could this past year in order to be in the best condition possible for this event. Instead of holding a parade, the team will be raising funds that they will donate to the various communities of Zoran that were the most affected by the war and for those that lost everything in the Desolation of Zoradia. We wish them luck in this task and look forward to seeing them play. Now let's go back to the news room to the current events section!" The broadcast ended and Quiyakaso let out a sigh of relief that something didn't go wrong for once. One of the interns came running to him with the coffee he requested earlier, he took it and thanked the intern before taking a drink and quickly spit it out onto the floor.
"This isn't what I ordered!" said Quiyakaso in a mildly annoyed tone,
"I know sir," said the intern, "the café said they discontinued your order a year ago." Quiyakaso fell to his knees and looked up at the ceiling as he yelled,
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

With 15 registered nations, the Loremasters and the Lorekeepers decided to include 1 Non-Playing Character (with no bonuses to be given and with neutral style modifier), also hailing from Doll Guldur, to have all continents represented. With that, we have 16 playing nations. They will be divided into four (4) groups with four (4) teams each. Nations will play with all nations found in their group once. A win is given two (2) points, a draw is given one (1) point, and a loss is given zero (0) points. The two (2) nations with the most number of points in their respective groups will progress to the Super Eight. The progressing eight (8) teams will be divided into two (2) groups with four (4) teams each, playing with all nations found in their group once, with the same point tally for every outcome of their games, and same qualification for the knock-out rounds (top 2 nations in the 2 groups of Super Eight will proceed to the knock-out rounds). The knock-out rounds will start with a cross-over semi-final game to determine who will be playing in the championships. When points are tied, number of wins, result of head-to-head meetings, and the NRR (Net Run Rate) of tied teams are checked to break the tie.
(Excuse the OOC, but) Starting with this tournament, we will also be giving a whole-day RP day. While the results will be posted on 9 PM EDT, the posting of the results of the next match day will be 48 hours after the posting of the results of the previous match day. For example, for the 1st Match Day of the First Round, the results will be posted on May 10 9 PM EDT. May 11 will be an RP Day. We hope that it would increase and improve role play interaction between nations. The cut-off for role play on that match day will still be an hour before posting the results of the next match day. In the previous example, the cut-off for role play will be on May 12 8 PM EDT, and posting of the results of the 2nd Match Day of the First Round will be on May 12 9 PM EDT.

The Great Empire of Larxia
The Great Empire of Larxia is a nation in the western part of Andolia, bordering Irador in the west, and Daskel in the South. It is the most-populous country in the continent with about 25.5 million Larxians. The Central Government convenes in the capital city of New Larxia. The climate is usually temperate with distinct seasons and bearable heat. The climate is a little oceanic in the west but gets a little extreme(continental) towards the Eastern border of the country.

 
Cities hosting the World Cup:
New Larxia- It is the capital city of the Great Empire of Larxia. With a population of 3.4 million, it is the most populated city in Larxia. It is located in close proximity to the sea, which makes it very important for marine trade.
Nexilia- It is the technological capital of Larxia. It is also known as the Silicon Valley of Larxia. Most of the tech firms in Larxia call this city their home. 
San Dojas- It is one of the most important cities for the sports in nation. It is a little sparsely populated compared to the other cities because it houses expansive, state of the art sports complexes.
La Marina- As the name suggests, it is close to marine life. It is famous for the marine life that cannot be experienced anywhere else. The main selling point of the tourism of La Marina is the lake we Larxians like to call the Lake Falcon.
Zancoudo- It is located in the  mountainous region in the North of Larxia. It is a small range but the the mountains are pretty high.This city houses the highest and the most beautiful stadium in the world and the views from the stadium are breathtaking.

Nagaraningrad was formed by 8 nations united under one banner and declared sovereignty in 15 February, 1399 AF as a Repoeblik Federasi Nagaraningrad (Federal Republic of Nagaraningrad). as the new nation was got more centralized, a deep government that called by many Nagaranites as Oerang Ningrad managed to establish a Monarchy Government without any major resentment from Nagaranites due to their popularity of commitment, making an efficient bureaucracy, and trust from Nagaranites which led a great admiration to Oerang Ningrad. The Enclave of New Velka; is a colony in another realm called "Western Fridge" which was called "West Pacific" by it's local populace which was located south of the Andolia Continent. Under the orders of Ayla the Silverdawn, a host of various Velkans, Fortnight Clans as well as other people seeking adventure beyond.
 
Prior to the Conquest, the region was originally called as ____ made by several independent kingdoms and city-states which fractured from years of war among each other. With the time the arrival of the Velkans, the whole archipelago was conquered (after several years). However internal corruption due to that the lack of observance by most Velkans (as they simply allow their cohorts to manage the respective territories) led to the Crimson Warping.
After the Crimson Warping, massive reforms were done but the power vacuum leaves a Velkan named Carro Pino taking over and founded the "House of Pino"

History
Due to the aftermath of the Velkan War, the cost to rebuild the country had drained a portion of Velkan's resources and wealth from decades of warfare. In addition, appearances of rift-portals across the land force the Velkans to deal with appearances of "outerworlders" which by orders of Lord was to close the rift-portals and escort the "outerworlders" back home or be dealt with by military means to those who are deemed hostile. Out of all portals, only one remained and out of curiosity, a high Velkan named Ayla personally led a small expedition force to scout whatever this realm was. After several weeks, the expedition force returned and the high Velkan personally want a to concur a meeting. 
It is learned that they visited a land that was in a state of war by various warring factions. Whilst Ayla had secured several settlements under the Velkan control, there is still much to be done. This lead for a larger expedition that consist of 2 Kabals as well as several adventurers from other countries. In the battle that would be called "Terminus" shows the full might of the Velkans and those who fought against them surrendered or killed. This allowed the Velkans to expand further in the other islands, such as Medusa Island and Termina.
As various Fortnight Clans settled in the island of Marbule for themselves, which also dubbed as a staging post for future expansion should the High Velkan demands so.
Several further expedition was done to establish diplomatic and economic partnerships mostly under the work of Morgiana the Archeon of Bloody Rose to ensure the "legitimacy" of the Velkan Government in the Realm, one of this was securing order in the "eastern realm" by allowing the King of Asloniva to rule on behalf of the Eastern Realm making the state working on behalf of the Velkans. Another was conducting minor expeditions were done to chart the seas and land around the country.
The Crimson Warping:
In __, the King of Asloniva died which passes on to his son. However at that point the northern region of New Velka is more or less under direct Velkan control hence Morgiana enlist various nobles who wish to manage the state. However the corruption of the government in the northern region 
 is unquestionable high along the lack of popular support within it's people causes them to become frustrated over the years and they chafed under the Velkans. Which results in violent protest throughout the eastern realm, most notably led by the infamous "Sons of Meridia" and several radical religious groups that desires the independence of the whole region as well as removing the Velkans from power.
An incident in the border near of Tisiphone causes a riot which the members of the Enforcers had to quell it down. During that time the Marshall of Perkyl decided this moment to collect overdue taxes in the Eastern Realm which by an unwise move by plundering caches of gold in Asloniva. This results to criticism that some bold citizens in the region mocked the Marshall by "begging for spare change", this angered the Marshall and execute thousands of innocent lives (which at the time the Velkans are unaware of the situation) then he began to move reinforcements however this time the people began to resist. Overwhelm by the local population, the Enforcers retreated to the citadel in Perkyl as the Great Crimson Revolt began.
During that time the Sons of Meridia mobilized and attacked the garrison in the Fortress of ___ where they successfully overwhelm and massacre the 800 soldiers present in. In Perkyl, the Enforcers who manage to withdrawn to the Citadel sued for terms but they all killed when they surrender their weapons. After this united the various rebel groups, brutally seized the Asloniva and remove the puppet prince from power.
Tensions in the Eastern Realm among the disparate populations erupted as well. Fortnight Clans and many native folks allied to the Velkan cause began to massacre the anyone sided to the uprising such as in ___, ___ and ____. While the rebels prowl the land and kill anyone who attempted to stop them.
This had reach in the Tribunal Assembly and prepare to how to deal with the problem in the Eastern Realm, after some debating they order the Kabal of the Mooring Sun to quell the uprising. Archeon Kastinan marched to Asloniva with 15 thousand troops, with the objective to seize the capital and restore order but the siege failed and were ambushed in the plains of Aslon as they retreat westward. The lightly armed rebels wielding bows, javelins and makeshift rifles encircled them and inflicted huge losses. This results to the near annihilation of the Kabal of the Mooring Sun, as not only they lost the siege weapons that are totally intact, but also the "sigil stone" that said to be lost during the battle.
The news of the failed campaign reached the capital and alarmed the possibility of a massive incursion as the rebels were furthered strengthen by looted equipment. Because of this, they decided to call Mir who at the time were in the middle of an expedition in the "Shambala Tower". As they know that Mir is fully capable of destroying the insurrection.
Meanwhile Aranth's Fortnight Clan continued the sieges in the city-states. Whilst Meridia manage to thwart their efforts, the city of Perkyl however wasn't lucky and in 2 weeks the defenders were slaughtered along with the civilians trapped in. This act causes inspires a rebellion within Termina and temporary divided the city by half but it was only stopped with the efforts from the Kabal of the Sliver Spire. This pulls them to investigate theorizing that as their Archeon believed that someone is pulling the strings.
The situation between the Crimson Scar and the Tribunal had worsen as the "atmosphere" continues to spread as reports of meteor shows occur surrounding Colovia. Unable to meet settle an agreement, the Kabal of the Crimson Scar demand a battle and it was commenced in the outskirts of Colovia where Archeon Morkal rally his men against a combined forced made of Enforcers under Nemo, a group of Fortnight Clans under Marrow and militia forces from the cities of Yamarr and Termina.
Elsewhere __, a small detachment of forces from the Kabal of the Sliver Spire personally investigate the mysterious changing of atmosphere. There they suspected that a Velkan is behind the occurrence and need to find the culprit before anything goes wrong. However by the time they discover the cause of anomaly, the warping had began. Engulfing the island chains with a crimson-like fog, the whole story of what happened during the Crimson Warping was lost. Saved for the major Kabals that present in the country to become weaken in fighting save of the Sliverspire who only suffered a fracture of it's forces.
When the warping finally disappears, the ___ island itself was greatly changed as some parts were sunk into the sea. Colovia is now surrounded by sea, and the once tropic-like temperature had changed to a more temperate similar to the nations north. It is unknown how many people were affected but the problem was too big for the Enforcers to handle but when this sorted out with help from the respective Kabals, Pino herself offer to provide assistance. A humanitarian assistance provided with other nations was done, of course this greatly affected the prestige of New Velka but the political maneuver was already done. As this allows Carro Pino herself to take the helm of the New Velka government as it recovers. Lastly the Arbiter Assembly made a stricter rule to prevent another incident.
The rise of the House of Carro:
In the following decades, the 5 leading Kabals were overshadowed by Carro Pino whom establish her own rule of domain. Supported by sycophants and like-minded supports the "House of Pino" was founded. Although questioned how Pino gained the full authority from the Hierarchy in the homeland, it is likely she already planned it in advance when the Crimson Warping began. Despite of it, Pino advocates a more better of standard of living for the people in New Velka. Another was the law was modified to greatly prevent another incident similar to the Crimson Warping, to a point that anyone dared to question the "myth" about is shrugged off.

In compare back to the home realm, New Velka is under a "Stratocratic Federal Council" which is headed by the various Kabals and it's leading Archon. Although in truth, Ayla the Silverdawn had the highest authority with the rest of the leading Archons' duty was to keep her inform the situation around the colony. In case of her absence was the Chancellor who acted as 2nd in command as well as a taking the diplomat ambassador role to other nations.
To ensure that the local peoples remain loyal to the Velkan Government, the "Tribunal Assembly" was created to allow the former lords that defected or sided with the Velkans to remain in power in return they continue their roles in maintain order in their respective territories which refereed as "counties".
Kabals:
An autonomous socio-economic paramilitary organization, it is somewhere between a fraternity, syndicate and a noble household. Each had a variety of power, control of several important institutions and individual positions, with direct participation restricted to High Velkans. The title of head of a Kabal is called Archon and each Kabal posses their own armies often both used in defending territories of influence or sending raiding parties to collect beasts, slaves, and anything else the Kabal may need. They had more free reign of "influence" in the country as well, however in terms of foreign affairs requires to settle the matter in the "Council of Archons".
Also when there is a major dispute between 2 or more Kabals; they settle this by a duel. Also jurisdiction on the Kabals are very lax due to their own authority and because of it, New Velkan Embassy simply shrugs most of them as "petty thieves and pirates" in the eyes of the other nations.
The list above are "official" Kabals that are station in New Velka:
Kabal of the Bleeding Heart - A well known Kabal known for it's numerous female members. 
Kabal of the Bloody Rose - One of the largest and influential of the Kabals, which currently holding the most political control in New Velka. They situated at Termina as their HQ of operations, with their Archon named Morgiana.
Kabal of the Crimson Scar - Known for participating in the Velkan War and is one of the most known for it's battle-harden warriors.
Kabal of the Sliver Spire - A newly formed Kabal during the last phases in the Velkan War. In comparison to the far more traditional and ancient Kabals, they known for understanding and working with common-folk. Likewise, when not called to battle they often present to law-enforcing duty in assisting the Enforcers to assisting in humanitarian aid making them either a threat or a nuisance to the other kabals. 
Kabal of the Twilight Abyss - Considered an enigmatic among other Kabals, whom aligned to the Weaver. Their current status is unknown after an incident after the battle of Terminus.
Foreign relations:
New Velkan foreign policy is conducted through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its head, Chancellor. The current Chancellor is Morgiana. The main goals of the Ministry is to represent New Velka before other states and international organizations; safeguarding the interests of the New Velkan Enclave and it's citizens abroad as well as maintaining closer relation with other Velkan Realms.
Whilst the Ministry advocates ensuring cooperation with other nations, they remained neutral in certain agendas.
Laws:
The aftermath of the Crimson Warping which caused the creation of the Arbiter Assembly to heavily restrict the Velkans and Fortnight Clans. There they imposed powerful rules and implant it to ensure that the realm will not heavily damaged as what happened in certain areas. The sighting of the "Shambala Tower" beyond the sea of the Western Fridge was a proof that the Velkans had done irreversible damage in the realm.
All Velkans, Fortnight Clans or humans are not allowed to use magic within the Western Fridge.
All Kaballite-related or Fortnight Clan engagement must be foreseen by an Arbiter.
Usage of certain artifacts cannot be used in the Western Fridge except in the Shambala Tower.
All laws above can only be null under extreme dire crisis that threaten the existence of the Western Fridge.
County Capitals
Prior to the creation of the Enclave, each city-state had it's own territory and control in the ___. Often overlapping with another and because of it this city-states clash with one and another. This changed when Ayla led the Velkans to unify the land, often some of those city-states were destroyed or outright being seized by another as spoils of war.
 
Military
Velkan Forces are for slowly building up, due to the prospects of opportunity. In addition, local militia forces from various settlements that were once belong by warring lords were present to defend their towns from various threats. Hence this was further organized into as "Enforcers" with a jurisdiction into maintaining law and order between counties.
Another was the Expeditionary Fleet a navy which it's role was to patrol the sea's as well as to explore the realm under Mir as well as the smaller Merchant Fleet.
Enforcers:
Due the requirements of an independent peacekeeping force, the "Enforcers" was formed by members of the forces that live in New Velka. Often they work along with a Kabal to ensure that the Velkan Dictates would be enforced in the Enclave. They're well equipped enough to fight a minor war, but their main role is maintaining order. In short they're the police of New Velka. The actual size of the enforces as of ___, is around 25,000.
The overall leader of the Enforcers is referred as "Grand Marshal" who represents the organization on the Senatorum situated at the capital itself. Below him are the Templars which oversee respective counties' security, below the Guardians are the Enforcers themselves. The organisation is well equipped and trained in combat as well as how to deal rogue Velkans that can be consider a security threat to the country and to the Western Fridge itself.
Expeditionary Fleet:
Velka's Navy were made for both defending the country as well as charting the Western Fridge and it's seas. It's highest ranking is Lord Admiral.
Economy
There are many forms of economic production in New Velka, mainly agriculture and fishing. In addition, the trading and shipping industries are another part of New Velka's economy. In each major city in the Enclave, of which there are seven, there is a central marketplace where business, trading and social activities take place. Another is that they had a variety of specialized industry and products to give them a flavor of uniqueness to separate one from other city-states.
There are variety of industry before the Velkans arrived, such as mining, agriculture, fishery and logging. The Velkans use their knowledge of manufacturing and industry that are used for making elements as well as a type of "clean energy" to power various equipment. Furthermore research and technological advancement due to the Millennium Academy had further rise the standards of living in New Velka.

Wymondham
          So, I suppose I should start by telling you all about myself. I’m Wymondham, Vizier of CA in Osiris, NSToday PR Director and Court Justice in Lazarus. But, I’m not here to talk about that. I was diagnosed with High Functioning Aspergers at age 13 and that helped explain a lot to me. However, to explain the rest of my story, we need to go back further to when I first started primary school aged 4. I had always found making friends difficult and the same was true at Primary school, I made 2 or 3 friends and was very close to all of them. I quickly found that, although I excelled at the work, I would misinterpret the teachers instructions and was often told off despite not really knowing what I had done wrong. When I got to the older years though I had an excellent teacher who seemed to really understand me and I cannot thank her enough for the ways she helped me. Whether it was from giving me instructions that I could follow and easily understand, to stretching me in terms of work difficulty by moving me up a year, which is an arrangement that I have continued to this day. Moving up to High School was difficult for me. I struggled very much to make friends and was bullied until the summer of last year. Without a diagnosis my teachers refused to make allowances for me. I got into a very heated row with my Head of House when he refused to give me some space to calm down following a fracas with another boy who had been mocking me because of my appearance. I’ve always struggled with expressing my feelings and, as such can often find opening up to people rather difficult. I was diagnosed aged 13 and it helped me understand a lot about myself. Suddenly certain things I didn’t understand why I did suddenly became a lot clearer and it has become a lot easier to develop strategies to control my often explosive anger. Routines are a major part of my day and since getting my diagnosis people have certainly been a lot more accepting off it. For example, when I go on discord, I will always say good morning to servers in a certain order: a friends personal discord server, followed by Osiris, then my two family servers, then Thalassia and finally Karma. Same goes for saying goodnight in PMs, I say goodnight to Rigel first and Altino last. I will have lunch at a certain time every day, go for my walk at precisely 2PM. Therefore, disruptions to my routine such as the Coronavirus can be extremely disorientating, I go to a boarding school which I find extremely useful due to the routine. Going home has required a readjustment to my routine and for the first week I was very very confused until I adjusted to the new normal. The internet and NS have been so useful for me as someone with Aspergers syndrome. It has given me the opportunity to interact with people without having to read facial expressions, which are the bane of my social existence - as a Brit I have grown up around Sarcasm so do not find that as difficult to deal with as other people with Aspergers. It has enabled me to meet people like Altino, Rigel, Halo, Rachael and Sho who have all helped me so much with my other mental health struggles which my tendency to hyperfocus does not exactly aid.           As a kid, I always was a little different.  I skipped speaking individual words and went straight to sentences.  My teachers told my parents I was far behind on reading, and that I had major learning disorders until all of a sudden, I could read paragraphs and was years ahead of my class.  When I was four years old, I was playing with a friend and he teased me mercilessly.  Instead of getting angry at the time, I waited a day, and then bit his finger to the bone.  My favorite book to read for years was volume A of the encyclopedia.  I received my initial diagnosis back when Aspergers was just added to the DSM.  My mom had read up about it, and was pretty sure I had it.  The psych, however, didn’t believe that it was a real disorder.  In the end, I was diagnosed with ADHD, Dysgraphia, and Non-verbal learning disorder.  I started therapy at 4 years old.  I don’t remember much of my early therapy, but one of the things I do remember was my writing therapist giving up on me.  I went to a writing therapist for four years, but by second grade I was using a laptop because the therapist didn’t know how to improve my motor skills.   I didn’t have a good experience with therapy until I was 8 years old, and we’d moved to a different city.  I got a fresh start with a new therapist that I would end up seeing for the next thirteen years.  Through middle school, I went to therapy 2-3 times a week.  I lacked very basic social skills and was unable to read people at all.  I was very young for my grade (made the cutoff for being in that grade by 2 days), and then skipped 4th grade.  My peers were 2-3 years older than me, and I just didn’t know how to interact with them.   Therapy was a very important part of my life and helped me learn how to function.  I was regularly bullied by some of the kids, and therapy helped me learn coping skills, and how to handle people.  I was very lucky to have incredibly supportive parents.  Therapy also taught me how to connect with my father.  We also conflicted when I was young, because he had issues understanding my actions.  I had a tendency to use my “logic” which no one else could understand where I came to the conclusion that something needed to be done.   The most common therapy that I did as a kid was “play” therapy.  The therapist and I would talk and play games, and he’d indulge all the rules changes I would make to the game.  This allowed me to open up more, and really helped me learn how to communicate.  Over time, I learned how to read body language better, while also getting really good at the made up version of connect 4 that we used to play.  I ended up repeating 8th grade, not for academic reasons but because I would have been going into high school as a 12 year old, and that would have made the bullying worse.  When I was 14 or 15, my psych admitted that I most likely had Asperger’s, but it wasn’t worth changing my diagnosis because it would mess with all the educational plans I had at school.  I would have been forced into special education classes, and taken out of my honors classes, and it would have really been detrimental to my social life that I’d finally managed to start developing.  In middle school and ninth grade, I always had a very small circle of friends but I started blossoming in tenth grade when I joined the school jazz band. Music helped me connect with people, and I was able to form close attachments with friends.  I still was the “weird” kid, but all of us were a little bit weird and that taught me it was ok.   Making friends was the next important step in development for me.  Back in middle school, I thought it was “cool” to sit by myself because it would impress the girls.  I wasn’t any smoother in high school, but navigating social groups and bonds helped set me up for the learning how to become a functional adult.  This was also around the time I got into Nationstates.  Nationstates was great because on the internet you could be anyone, and no one had to know your struggles if you didn’t want them to.  Nationstates taught me a lot about online communication at the same time I was really learning how to interact with people in-person.   The next step for me was in college when I got into Improvisational Comedy. One of my long running-struggles was a massive need for “structure”.  Without structure, I was unable to operate and basically shut down.  Improv taught me how to play around with-in the rules, before later learning how to break them.  This was a big improvement over me as a kid, where I once tattled on my cousin for buying me ice cream when my mom told her not to get it for me because I knew I broke the rule and it wasn’t right.   I’m now a “slightly weird” adult.  I had a conversation with a former co-worker that told me that when I was hired, they thought I was going to be incredibly annoying.  I had a tendency to want to talk while they were doing work and wouldn’t understand their body language that they wanted me to back off.  This was a really important learning for me, and I’ve told my co-workers to straight up tell me “hey, I need to do stuff.”  Therapy helped me learn how to read people, but when I get excited I still run into issues.  I hyper-focus on this, and I get really excited about stupid things and then explain it to my poor wife.  I got really into smart home technology, and now I own three smart ceiling fans.   It’s interesting to think of what I would have been like without years of work.  When people think of the spectrum, they think of what they’ve seen in movies.  Not everyone needs to live in a group home, but if they do that’s ok.  We all cope and learn to do things different ways.  My business partner was diagnosed with Autism as an adult, and it made a lot of things in his life “click”.  We have discussions because sometimes it feels like we’re on opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of our preferences to do things, but because our brains are different that “normal” people we can understand each other better.  Normal is a relative concept.  Most people have no idea that my friend or I are on the spectrum, and many would be surprised to find out.  There is a stigma attached to the spectrum that needs to be cleared up. People on the spectrum can be just as unique from each other as they are to neurotypical brains.   If you know someone with autism, just talk to them about it.  Ask about their preferences or why they said something.  Be gentle, be kind, and be understanding.  This doesn’t mean be a pushover. Being on the spectrum is not a license to be an asshole, and I thank my parents, friends, and coworkers for giving me boundaries.   Awareness of the spectrum is key for the future.  There’s a whole gap between the public perception of “group home” or “rain man”.   Awareness is really important, and I’m glad that people are starting to learn more.

          I think a lot has been written by people close to Autism, quite a number of articles, studies, notes and even projects that heralded new insight as to what Autism (and the spectrum) is. Not so much (or at least published in great numbers or popular in nature) has been written by the autistic to tell their part. The new found use for Social media and Social networking has shifted the balance here, everyone can get a platform to shed light on the things close to their hearts and to be able to express themselves somewhat. We know what the DSM says about Autism: "Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual Fifth Edition of the American Psychiatric Association (DSM 5)*, is a complex developmental disorder associated with symptoms that include "persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction across multiple contexts" and "restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities." But, from the point of view of someone in the spectrum, what does that really mean? To me, being on what used to be called Asperger’s and now is just a part of the ASD, it means that certain things are FAR more important or worthy of attention than others. That I’ll settle in and be comfortable with certain tasks and situations, while being absolutely unable to cope with others, and for each one of us, these are different. My son, also on the spectrum will tirelessly research, learn and go on to teach if allowed anything and everything he can about video editing, cinema and movies. He’s dedicated dozens of hours to analyzing the differences in DVD (or BluRay) menu options between different versions of a movie, and will gladly share everything he knows about it if you just sit down “for a minute”. Some of us are very prone to bouts of “self isolation”, alone playtime, going into closets, under beds, or dark places. Others are hyper and love moving about and doing all sorts of physical activity, but one major thing we have in common is that social “awkwardness” that prevails over most of our interactions; be it that we miss social cues, we take things at face value, or simply, miss absolutely anything relating to sarcasm or innuendo because we only really register the words, not the nuances. Overall it makes daily things hard. People may take advantage of it (we trust a lot) or be afraid of our aloofness or possibly even they fear that we may become irate “over nothing”; quick hint here, very rarely it’s over nothing. We on the spectrum obsess easily, that’s a great gift for learning, but we also don’t let things go as fast as others. Someone making fun of you stays, sometimes even for years, which lends itself for some really hard times when forgiving a slight. Eating is another “fun” time. Some of us have issues with textures, some foods that are absolutely enjoyable by most, are actually retch producing and we need to work around that daily. It all is variable, and some people seem very far removed from “neurotypical” while others are far more functional, but sometimes none of us get a chance to show how or why. I’ve taken my son out of more schools than I care to admit, we’ve tried different systems, education patterns, teachers and methods, and only some work, and not all the time. We’ve had parents force our kid out of the classroom because they are afraid that their children may miss classes, have a hard time, or, in the worst cases “catch something”. It’s been 11 years of schooling, Jr has moved to seventh grade now, he’s moved out of the city and into a more rural environment, people are somehow more open there, teachers try to explore different ways, and the fact that there is more space and nature, has brought anxiety levels down on all of us. Not everyone is this lucky, we had a choice, we were able to move him to a place where people were willing to not just shy away, but reach out; in times like this, don’t we need a bit more of reaching out, albeit metaphorically if not actually?

      Greetings to my fellow representatives of the world summit,
   Since the birth of humanity, trading and bartering has been as much a part of us as anything else that makes us human. Recently, with more nations being officially recognized in landlocked regions, or regions with extreme environmental conditions, it has come to the attention of the Foreign Affairs office of Einherfell that third world countries might be lacking in equal opportunity to reach the level of prosperity of most first world nations. In an effort to raise the global GDP and overall economic standards, we have brought forth an initiative to introduce not just universal trade standards, but also ensure that goods may be exported and imported at will with no inhibitions. In order to achieve such goals, we propose fair trade laws, including, but not limited to, tariff free importation and exportation, good safety regulations, and access to ocean ports for landlocked countries, without restriction based on political standing with the surrounding nations.
   These laws would be set in place in the hopes that we might bring about more peaceful conditions globally, as well as advance society and the standards of living. We have gathered here today to debate and ratify the world summit proposal, The Great World Trade Network Trade Agreement Treaty, which will impose laws protecting the freedoms of landlocked countries, and grant them access to economic prospects. Once the debates and signings are complete, we shall introduce the finalized, ratified document to all the nations that have signed. Without further ado, I, Citadel Tyrio, the Foreign Affairs Adviser of the Empire of Einherfell, signal the beginning of the world summit on the topic of The Great World Trade Network Trade Agreement Treaty.
