Teralyon Battles to 21–21 Draw Against Dalimbar
Ryxtylopia – In a clash worthy of Rugby World Cup history, Teralyon and Dalimbar fought to a dramatic 21–21 draw, leaving fans breathless after eighty minutes of relentless rugby. Dalimbar, a nation with a rich rugby tradition and proud host of the 4th Rugby World Cup, entered the match as favorites. Yet Teralyon showed that their opening win over Greiya was no fluke. The purple-and-silver side matched Dalimbar in intensity, trading tries and never allowing the former champions to gain control.

The first half saw Teralyon’s forwards grind down Dalimbar’s pack, with Bozhil Nikolic powering over the line for an early score. Dalimbar responded swiftly with two tries of their own, reminding everyone of their pedigree. At halftime, Dalimbar held a narrow lead, but Teralyon’s resilience was plain to see. In the second half, Visnja Dvorkin orchestrated a brilliant backline move that leveled the match, and a late try from Zuzana Calic sent Teralyon’s supporters into raptures. But Dalimbar refused to yield, striking back in the closing minutes to bring the score to 21–21.

Manager Ratko Jenic praised his side’s resolve: “We faced one of the strongest rugby nations in the world today, and we stood our ground. This draw is proof that Teralyon can go toe-to-toe with the best.”

The result keeps both nations firmly in contention to advance, but for Teralyon, the draw feels like a victory, evidence that their rise on the global stage is no longer a dream, but a reality.

    Jacques' Gun Range
    Passe Cerise, Pics Rouges

Men stood at a large shooting range in the high mountain forest of the state of Pics Rouges. They had a wide assortment of clothing, from jeans and long sleeve shirts, to cargo pants and jackets. One man in a trucking hat tightened his ear protection before shouldering a military style R4 assault rifle. His face was slim and clean-shaven, with narrow eyes on a statuesque face. He looked through yellow tinted aviators down range.

“Trying for five hundred,” the hatted man said. Another man stood next to him. His face was square, with a thick moustache over his lips. He had blue-green sports shades.

“Send it,” the moustached man said. The hatted man began. PA-PLINK! “Low and right. I’d say two ticks low, one and a half right.”

PA-PLINK! “Alright, half tick low, a couple cents left.” PA-PLINK! “That’s pretty good. Give it two more.” PA-PAPLINK! “Damn. Okay, just a little high, maybe those were weak loads.”

“That’s what she said,” the hatted man said with a chuckle.

“You know they got pills for that, right?” the moustached man said back. He gave the hatted man a firm slap on his off shoulder and an unseen smile. “Just a couple cents high and a hair left.” PA-PLINK! “That’s money right there.”

“Thank you for your service, Dux Peritus Blanc,” the hatted man, Charron, said.

“Always an honor to serve, Dux Peritus Charron,” the moustached man, Blanc, said.

Charron brought the rifle over one shoulder and slipped a hand into a glove. He began picking up shell casings before looking over to Blanc, who was also shouldering a rifle carrying bag rested on the ground.

“You never said why we were meeting today. It seemed to be more than just ranging,” Charron said. Blanc shot his head to one side. It was bound for a group of men who were gathered further into the field. “A couple of those guys look familiar,” Charron remarked. Blanc nodded his head. Charron and Blanc walked over to the men. The men turned their attention. Blanc raised up his sunglasses.

“Gentlemen, I’d like you all to formally say hello to Yves Charron,” Blanc said. The men said hello, the customary bonjour.

“A little green behind the ears, no, Gil?” One man said. Gil put his sunglasses back down.

“I’m sure he is more than familiar with what brings us here today,” Gil said. “Isn’t that right?” Gil gave Yves a pat on the back.

“That we’re all from A Company?” Yves said. The other men snickered. “The Immigration Question.” The men were silent, yet nodded in agreement.

“You’re damn right. We take an oath to protect the nation,” one man said. “From threats foreign, and domestic. This administration has the nerve to lift the moratorium on foreigners. Hell, I can’t even get pizza unless a damn Nalibienne is putting their filthy hands on it.” The men were silent. The rolling breeze was sometimes interrupted by the crack of a rifle or pistol.

“That’s why you’re here,” Gil said. “That’s why we’re here. We’re here to put a stop to that.” Yves looked on with wide eyes.

“To protest, right?” Yves asked. Gil shook his head while he sucked his teeth.

“You see, that’s the thing. People have done that,” Gil said. “But the government, hell the people, don’t listen. So we have to show them the future they don’t want to see.” The gathered men nodded. “The bloodshed, and the chaos. That’s what prompts people to take action. Chip away at their safe little glass jar until it breaks, then you can move them wherever you want them to go. We are simply the hand that guides them.”

Gil held up his right hand, with a scar going across it. The other men held up their hands. “We’re the Red Line,” one man said. “The nation has crossed it, and we must attend to its correction, as is only right. Do you wish to partake in this?”

Yves looked at the men in the group. His peers. Men in A Company of the Viriarma [National Police Force]’s Counter-Terrorism Regiment. Many were just like him, Genterienne’s. True bloods of the land. Maybe a myth from many years ago, but as real now as the sun and the soil. Yves looked on expectantly, as if they would say the first words. But he did.

“Yes,” Yves said. He looked over to Gil. “From what you’ve told me, nobody’s really doing anything.” A man with a booming voice came forward.

“But we are. And that’s why Gil invited you,” the booming man said. The men beside him gave their utmost attention. “Because we needed one more man for the cause. A good shot. Cool under pressure. You’re what we need - what this country needs. You’re how we turn the tide towards righteousness.”

“How do I join you guys? How do I do the right thing?” Yves asked. The lead man, Caspar, pointed down range. Yves walked up next to him.

“You take your first shot,” Caspar said. Yves unshouldered his rifle, and looked down the magnifying scope. At the end of the field was a dehumanizing caricature of a black man holding a spear. “Double points if it’s between the eyes.”

Yves let out a short sigh. PA-PLINK!
“That’s the spirit,” Caspar said with a smile. “I think Double-Oh here can be a part of our little, ahem, shooting club. Huzzah for Double-Oh!”

HUZZAH! HUZZAH! HUZZAH! Yves felt the battle cry rattle his bones. He looked up with a smile and a nod as the men gave him pats on the back. He was now a new member.

United Adaikes got a reaction from Larxia in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]
The United Adaikes national team has officially punched its ticket to the Round of 16 of RWC6, but not without surviving a major scare from a determined Saint Mark side. In a tense, back-and-forth battle, the Sharks emerged victorious 27-21, a result that seals the top spot in Group C and, crucially, they still need to show an A-game in the last match day to have the most favorable path forward in the quest for the world title.
The match was a stark contrast to their opening-day rout. Saint Mark, smarting from their narrow win over Larxia, came out with a ferocious defensive game plan, stifling Adaikes' powerful forward carriers at the gain line. The first half was a brutal arm-wrestle, with the teams trading penalties and the scoreboard ticking over slowly.
The breakthrough came early in the second half when veteran fly-half Koby Rose, showing all his 38 years of guile, put wing Venceslas Aaron into space with a perfectly timed miss-pass for the game's first try. However, Saint Mark responded immediately, capitalizing on a rare handling error from United Adaikes to score under the posts and level the match.
With the game in the balance, it was the leadership core that stepped up. Captain and lock Ryanne Thrussell produced a monumental turnover at a critical ruck deep in the Sharks territory, and from the ensuing possession, scrum-half Ursella Bissette sparked a counter-attack that ended with powerhouse number 8 Cearra Hampton crashing over. The final ten minutes were a masterclass in game management, with fullback Hernan Jacobson expertly finding touch and the forward pack controlling possession to close out the hard-fought win.
A Quick Look Around Group C : Larxia Keeps Hopes Alive
In the other Group C fixture, Larxia secured a vital, if underwhelming, 6-0 victory over Ageros. The match, devoid of any tries, was decided by two penalty goals. The win gives Larxia 5 points and keeps their knockout stage hopes firmly alive, setting up a dramatic final matchday against the Sharks. For Ageros, a loss in the last match day will confirm their elimination from the tournament.
The Road to the Cup: A Group Winner's Advantage
With this victory, United Adaikes (10 points) cannot be caught at the top of Group C. More importantly, as Group C winners, they are now guaranteed a seeded position in the Round of 16.
As per the tournament structure, the five group winners will be ranked against each other as seeds 1 through 5. With 10 points and a healthy points difference, the Sharks is in a strong position to claim one of the top seeds. This is a massive advantage. The snake seeding system for the knockouts means the top seeds will face the lowest-ranked qualifiers.
Seed 1 plays the best 4th-placed team (Seed 16). Seeds 2-6 plays the 11th-15th seeds (lower-ranked 3rd-placed teams). Avoiding the other group winners until the later rounds is the primary goal of the pool stage, and Coach Ferne Huxtable's squad has achieved exactly that. Their final match against Larxia is now a chance to build momentum, rotate the squad, and fine-tune strategies before the do-or-die knockout phase begins. The mission is clear: rest, recover, and prepare for a run at the cup from the most enviable position possible.
Final Score: United Adaikes 27 (Tries: Aaron, Hampton; Con: Jacobson; Pens: Jacobson 5) - Saint Mark 21

United Adaikes got a reaction from Saint Mark in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]

    THE CINPORT TIMES
JER RUGBY ASSOCIATION BEATS ZOGRADIA 20-7

On day 2 of the Ryxltopia Rugby World Cup VI, the JRA has won their first match by more than 10 points against the Zogradia. This has secured our team a place on the knockout tournaments later in the cup.
The Jer players started at a loss, until they started to tie it by the end of the first half of the game, and they were able to play incredibly well in the second half! The collective efforts made by the team is very showing of their skills, as well as their resilience against struggle like that we saw in the first half of this game. Plays were performed with grace as the ball was tossed around with great ease. Bystanders described it all as much of a dance as it is a sport.
"Well, we're facing large competition later in this tournament," says Basian Fly-Half Quipp Bix. "But I think that we show some potential, especially after such a strong victory against Zogradia, and such a close match against the Overthinkers."
Yes, despite the strong victory in this match, later matches are expected to be much more difficult. Teams like the Overthinkers and Ryxltopia are destined to be incredibly formidable foes thanks to their greater size of teams, experience, and funds. Any play against those big teams from big countries are set to be in their favour instead of ours. Strong resistance is expected starting in the next round, no matter how much they can work together.
"I wish our athletes as much luck and skill as our scientists, workers, and all the other Jer in this country," says Prime Minister Jerimiah. "Even if they lose the next round, I garuntee we will treat them like great winners anyway. Their efforts have made us revealed more than ever on the world stage. For that, our gratitude is owed to them."
Despite the odds stacked against us, I'm sure that the Jer Rugby Association's fine athletes will be able to pull together their best matches yet in the coming days. Go Jerimiahia!

Staneburg Secures First Win With 12 - 0 Victory Over Materos

    By Anna Wilson, SBC Sports
    Sun, September 28 1425

Staneburg Rugby celebrated their first ever Rugby World Cup win yesterday after a 12- 0 victory over Materos in Group A - a match which was crucial for Staneburg to win to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. After falling short in their opening match against Ryxtylopia, Richard Schmidt’s side responded with resilience, delivering a disciplined defensive display and beating Materos with two well taken tries and a successful conversion.
The opening stages were tightly contested, with both teams struggling to break through strong defensive lines. It was not until the 23rd minute that Staneburg found a breakthrough, when scrum-half Florian Adler intercepted a loose ball and released Niklas Vogel down the left wing for the opening score. At the closing stages of the first half, Materos were awarded a penalty and opted to kick for goal, but the attempt drifted wide, leaving the score at 5-0 at the break.
Materos attempted to rally in the second half , pushing hard through their forwards led by Reginold Materin and Beryll Allard, but Staneburg’s pack, anchored by Lukas Reinhardt and Stefan Keller, stood firm. In the 50th minute, Captain Jonas Hartmann led a powerful drive from the forwards close to the Materos try line, with inside centre Christian Fuchs eventually powering across the line for Staneburg’s second try. This time Hartmann stepped up and coolly slotted the conversion, stretching the lead to 12-0. Materos pressed hard at the closing stage but Staneburg’s defence stood tall securing their first win in the tournament.
After the match, Manager Richard Schmidt praised his team’s effort and described this win as “a historic win for Staneburg Rugby”. He emphasized the team’s defensive discipline noting that keeping Materos scoreless was as satisfying as scoring twice themselves. Schmidt also highlighted the value of bouncing back after the opening loss to Ryxtylopia, saying the performance “proved the players are learning quickly and growing into the tournament.”  Looking ahead, he stressed the importance of staying grounded: “We’ve shown what we can do but this is just the beginning. We need to keep refining our strategy in order to perform better in the next match.” Try-scorer Niklas Vogel reflected on his moment: “Crossing the line felt unreal — it’s something I’ll never forget. But the win matters more than the try. This is for our fans back home.”
With Ryxtylopia already qualified for the Round of 16 on nine points, the battle for the remaining spots is wide open. Staneburg and Nouveauterra both sit on four points, while Materos linger with one. All eyes now turn to the final round of fixtures. Staneburg’s clash with Nouveauterra has all the makings of a knockout contest — a win would guarantee Staneburg's progress, a draw might be enough, but a loss could let Materos steal in if they shock Ryxtylopia. It all comes down to the final round.

    Nouveauterra VS Ryxtylopia- Match Highlighs.

The TVNC tranmission started with the Istadio Trixalpe already full, the stadium already alive with chants and flags waving in the air, as the players went out ready for the game, the atmosphere couldn't be more intense, as this match would most likely define who would lead the group.
It would be none other than Pablo Virriscayda whom once again was in charge of the live commentry for TVNC.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen! You are watching TVNC! And as always im Pablo Virriscayda comentating for this match, where we will see RYXTYLOPIA! go up against NOUVEAUTERRA! The pirates seek revenge from our last game in Overthinkers, and whoever wins this may get a shot at qualifying early!"
As the referee does the coin toss, Nouveauterra wins it, deciding to letting the ryxtylopians kick first.

"The coin is tossed, and it seems... Nouveauterra won it! And- They will let the pirates kick off. Exciting match ahead! The group lead is in play here! Will Ryxtylopia achieve victory? Or will Nouveauterra go up 2-0 in games won? We'll soon find out!"

KICK OFF The pirates kick off, starting the match with only a few players moving at the nouveauterrans, with most playing defensive and staying behind, as the nouveauterrans prepared to defend the pirate's attack.
"And, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE MATCH IS UNDERWAY! DALÉ RYXTYLOPIA, DALÉ TRICOLOR!"

18'  |  0-0 For almost the first 20 minutes, the match would devolve into a cycle, with the ryxtylopians attacking but the nouveauterrans expertly defending their attacks however also struggling to take the lead and go attacking as the ryxtylopian backlines held them off regaining possession for the Tricolor. It wouldn't be until 18 minutes in when ryxtylopia nearly opened the score when Marco Xilta was able to avoid most of the nouveauterran players, getting dangerously close to scoring a try, but then being blocked by Lodewijk Berkenbos, which lead to Marco passing to Pailo Darrias whom almost instantly got tackled by Quintin Koenderink, with Nouveauterra regaining posession right after.
"Xilta is through on the right! He's running as fast he can! He may need to seek a pass to not get tackled by Berkenbos... Xilta! Xilta to Darrias! And- Tackle! Darrias tackled by Koenderink! Ball's on the floor, now Nouveauterra have regained posession! Close one for Ryxtylopia!"

    25'  |  3-0 R. Dipartí (RYX)
After a while, following many rucks, a few mauls, and lots of passing from the ryxtylopians trying to get through the nouveauterran defense, and then lots of tackling by said nouveauterran defense, the score would open in favor of the pirates, after a good pass from Lardo Andreís Visquelpá reached Rinaco Dipartí around 19-meters off the nouveauterran goal. Seeing his opponents closing in, R. Dipartí took the chance and kicked the ball for a drop goal, which he bearly scored, right before Pius Horatius could tackle him.
"Visquelpá is through near the middle, that ruck could've gone better for the nouveauterrans! Now the ball will be for Dipartí, receiving a decent pass. His opponents are closing in! Dipartí has to pass, Dipartí keeps moving- Drop! Kick! Annnnnd- SCORE! SCORE! Scoreeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Ryxtylopia scores! Dipartí seeing his situation takes his chance and lands the drop goal! The pirates are up 3 to 0!"

26'  |  3-0 Bearly a minute after Dipartí had scored however, Nouveauterra got its first great chance of the game. With their young Nº4 lock: Jules Tonguey skilfully avoiding both Ryxtylopia's Nº8: Theo Farris and Scrum Half: Ferrán Lisquerva, to get through to a good position to take a drop goal, however it would be Kaixe Disquerravia's quick reaction time that prevented Nouveauterra from scoring; as he made a dash nearly pushing Guilbirto Tivaña out of the way to then tackle J. Tonguey. And let G. Tivaña regain posession for the pirates, keeping the score as it was.
"Pass to Toungey! Tackle by Lis- No wait! Toungey is through! Lisquerva fails tackling! This could be it for Nouveauterra! Look at that speed! But wait! Its Disquerravia! If Toungey reaches that spot he could do a drop goal! But no! Tackle! Tackle! Tackle! Now Tivaña has the ball! Game remains 3-0 in Ryxtylopia's favor!"

HALF TIME Following Toungey's chance, the game devolved into a chaos with an order: you never knew who'd have the ball or when, but it would always result in either the ryxtylopian forwards attempting to force their way through an overwhealming number of nouveauterran defenders, with no success. Or the nouveauterrans trying to build up an attack but suffering in maintaining the ball long enough to get into a good position. Halftime arrived as Ryxtylopia was still 3 up.
"Zicha with the ball. And whistle! Half time! Ryxtylopia is winning against Nouveauterra by a minimum margin of three to zero! Both teams seek a victory to take lead of the group. We'll be back shortly after a few ads ladies and gentlemen to watch this match between the only two nations to beat the zoranians last year!"

44'  |  3-0 Four minutes after Half time, Nouveauterra had another good chance with the intensity of their game picking up. Completing a good series of passes, first from Tedus Pisca to J. Toungey, who carried the ball forwards then passing to Emeric Voutezac, very nearly scoring the try. However Ryxtylopia's old but brilliant fullback, Ernysto Rivas anticipated Voutezac correctly, which let him tackle him for Rinaco Patochá to regain posession for the pirates.
"Pisca! Pass! Toungey again! He makes great speed on the flank! Toungey! Avoids Lisquerva, pass to Voutezac! Nouveauterra can get the try! Voutezac has to get through Rivas and Patochá. Voutezaaaaaaac- RIVAS! Tackle! Patochá regains posession for Ryxtylopia!"

    50'  |  10-0 M. Xilta (RYX)
    R. Zicha (RYX)
Unfortunately for Nouveauterra the ryxtylopian lead would get bigger at the 50th minute, following a maul that lead to Ryxtylopia's captain and Nº4 Lock: Riberto Huichilca gaining posession for the pirates, making good progress diagonally before passing to Pailo Darrias, who quickly saw his attack options quickly disappearing with the nouveauterrans closing in; however at the last moment he was able to pass to M. Xilta who bolted right for the nouveauterran side. With their fullback Eugen Larchemont just two seconds too late of stopping him, as Xilta landed the try.
Rinaco Zicha whom had showed great kicking during training with the rest of the ryxtylopian team did his duty, scoring the conversion and along  with Xilta landing the pirates 7 points to bring their lead up to 10.
"Huilchica with the ball! Makes progress! The nouveauterran defense has been really solid, this looks tricky. Pass to Darrias! If he hurries, he could make it, but apparently his window closed! Darris keeps trying, Xilta open on the right! Good pass to Xilta! HE MAKES A RUN FOR IT AND, LARCHEMONT IS TOO LATE- SCORE! SCORE! SCOOOOOOOOORE!!! Ryxtylopia SCORES! Xilta lands the try! Its 8-0!"
"It will be Zicha for the conversion! He kicks! Its spot on! Zichaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa adds +2 to the scoreline! Ryxtylopia 10! Nouveauterra 0!"

    59'  |  10-7 J. Bloem (NOV)
    T. Pisca (NOV)
Nouveauterra would get their long-awaited points 9 minutes after Zicha's conversion. Their captain, Nº8: Silvain Flandin getting the better part of a ruck and then avoiding getting tackled by R. Zicha. Making it deep into the ryxtylopian side of the field, before being tackled by nearby G. Tivaña, however with no support, Tivaña saw how nouveauterran lock: Joep Bloem got to the ball before any of his teamates, this time Rivas not in a position to save Ryxtylopia from conceding. With J. Bloem landing the try.
Tedus Pisca would be in charge of the conversion, his experience in the sport didn't fail him. And he brought Nouveauterra within 3 points of equalizing.
"Fladin out of the ruck! Zicha can't tackle! Fladin's in! Good tackle by Tivaña! There's nobody! Bloem takes the ball! Bloem against Rivas! And... Score! Score! Nouveauterra scores the try!"
"Tedus Pisca has a lot of experience with conversions from what ive heard. He makes it... He lands the conversion! Nouveauterra makes 7 points from the try and conversion, and closes in on Ryxtylopia!"

    63'  |  13-7 F. Lisquerva (RYX)
The match only got more intense after the 60 minute mark. After a knock-on commited by P. Horatius, Ryxtylopia would gain posession after the following scrum K. Disquerravia carrying the ball a good distance forward on the left, then passing to T. Farris, whom got tackled by T. Pisca, however with F. Lisquerva following close behind him, he got the ball as Disquerravia dropped it, and went for the drop goal, scoring it furthering Ryxtylopia's lead.
"The pirates have come off better from the scrum! Disquerravia with posession! He makes it through the flank! Pass to Farris! Farris... Tackle by Pisca! Lisquerva picks it up! Avoids- drop- SCORE! SCORE! Lisquerva scores a drop goal! Ryxtylopia gains another 3 points!"

    67'  |  13-12 E. Voutezac (NOV)
    T. Pisca (NOV)
13 minutes from the game's end, Niccus Bellus moved with the ball on the flank, as K. Disquerravia and R. Patochá rushed to meet him, however he managed to make his pass go between both, landing at Emeric Voutezac's arms. nearing the ryxtylopian goal. As Rivas went out to tackle him, quick thinking from E. Voutezac's part got him to pass to the faster J. Toungey, who was behind, Toungey moving diagonally as Rivas panicked following him. Toungey sealed the deal by bearly managing a pass back to Voutezac who managed to score with Aviliez Mataña too far away to tackle him.
Unfortunately for Nouveauterra, Pisca's conversion kick carried too much strengh, as the ball curved and missed the goal, with only one point now separating the ryxtylopians and the nouveauterrans.
"We got less than 15 minutes left in this! Bellus with the ball! Disquerravia and Patochá seem to want to cut hi- WOAH! WHAT A PASS FROM BELLUS! Its for Voutezac! He doesn't have the speed to make it. Rivas will tackle! He passes to Toungey! Toungey makes full speed forward! Rivas chases! Pass back to Voutezac! He's got the try. Score! Score! Score! Nouveauterra scores! Following an incredible pass from Bellus, Voutezac and Toungey coordinate perfectly to eventually make a try! Nouveauterra can take the lead if they land the conversion!"
"Pisca for the conversion again. He kicks! OUFFF!! Too much power on that kick! The ball missed! The score is now Ryxtylopia 13 Nouveauterra 12!"

    71'  |  20-12 P. Darrias (RYX)
    R. Zicha (RYX)
Even with the game still going their favor, Ryxtylopia was only ahead by one point, Nouveauterra could finish the comeback if the pirates did not take action, but that's exactly what Patochá had in mind after getting the ball back following Zicha's tackle on Sebastian De Wacht, Patochá took the ball from the ryxtylopian side and over the midfield, getting tackled by P. Horatius resulting in a ruck. And after a bit Armando Mataña came out with the ball, quickly passing to L. Andreís Visquelpá who avoided Quintin Koenderink to finish by passing to P. Darrias, who landed the try.
Zicha once again converted for Ryxtylopia getting the pirates up to 20 points.
"Vamo Tricolór! Ryxtylopia is on the attack! Patochá with posession! He's making good progress! Nouveauterra scrambles to defend! Patochá tackled by Horatius! Ruck! Ruck! I people going into there! Lost sight of the ball! Ruck... Mataña with posession for the tricolor! he makes it through! Pass to Visquelpá! Going through the right! Visquelpá passes to DARRIAAAAAAAAS- SCORE! SCORE! SCORE! SCORE! SCOOOOREEE! Darrias makes the try! The pirates are back in the game after 12 minutes!"
"Zicha has to convert! If he does, no matter the result Ryxtylopia will earn a bonus point for the group stage standings! Zicha- SCORES! ITS NOW 20 TO 12!"

FULL TIME The Nouveauterrans stopped their defensive play, going on the attack to try to once again close the gap, however no-good chances to score came as the ryxtylopian defense was able to deal with all their attempts, constantly going on the counterattack with Nouveauterra's defense still seemingly as solid as ever, even with all the pressure to score at the end they didn't give up, the match ended 20-12 with Ryxtylopia now qualified for the knockouts.
"End it ref! End it ref! VAMO TRICOLÓOOOOOOOOR! RYXTYLOPIA HAS QUALIFIED FOR THE KNOCKOUTS!! AND AS GROUP LEADERS! THE MATCH HAS ENDED! Ryxtylopia 20! Nouveauterra 12! I was forced to watch a repetitive first half for the big pay off in the second! Great work from the players of the ARR, and also a great performance from Nouveauterra! They fought until the very end!"

"Ladies and gentlemen! We saw a great match today! Filled with all sorts of emotions! Great effort made by the nouveauterrans but today Ryxtylopia proved the better team! In the end we still share something common being two nations with great rugby players and lots of experience! Nouveauterra's last game will be against Staneburg!"
"And as for Ryxtylopia, we head back to the Chacas Arena! To face off against the other debutants in our group. Materos! Ryxtylopia is already qualified, but to keep spirits high we must score the last win and round out the group!"
"That will be all for today's transmission however! You just watched RWC 6 via TVNC, Ryxtylopia's best broadcasting network! Im Pablo Virriscayda and ill be signing out, we'll see you all in the final day of the group stage! Goodbye!"

    The transmission ends.

Nelson Saint Mark, Lion's Fly Half
    Markan Moment
By Jessica Confabula, Senior Sports Correspondent
“We’ll Rise Again”: Nelson Saint Mark Reflects on Loss to United Adaikes
It was a cool evening in Group C play, but the action on the pitch between the Saint Mark Lions and United Adaikes was anything but chilly. The Lions fought hard but ultimately fell short, losing 27–21 in a bruising contest that leaves them with six points to Adaikes’ ten.
I caught up with Nelson Saint Mark, the Lions’ fly-half, in the tunnel after the match. Despite the sting of defeat, he was composed, gracious, and already looking ahead.
Jessica Confabula: Nelson, a tough result tonight. How are you feeling in this moment?
Nelson Saint Mark: Disappointed, of course. We came here believing we could take the points, and for long stretches, we showed flashes of what makes us dangerous. But international rugby is about fine margins, and Adaikes punished our lapses. Credit to them.
JC: The scoreboard suggests it was close, but Adaikes seemed to dominate the breakdowns. Was that where it slipped away?
NSM: Absolutely. Their back row—Crespo, Hull, Hampton—they were relentless. Our forwards worked hard, especially Baxtor and Bruno [Goldwash] in the scrums, and Marcarius [Hightower] put in a shift defensively, but we didn’t recycle quickly enough. When you’re slow at the ruck, you’re always playing catch-up.
JC: You had some shining moments yourself, particularly that cross-kick to Celerio Blitzen in the 63rd minute. Do you take personal positives from tonight?
NSM: Rugby’s never about one player. I’m glad that one came off—Celerio’s pace deserves service—but I’m more focused on the chances we didn’t convert. A fly-half lives and dies by decision-making, and I’ll be replaying a few choices in my head tonight.
JC: Sir Evan Rahl looked visibly frustrated on the touchline. What was his message to the squad afterwards?
NSM: Keep our heads. The pool’s not lost yet. He reminded us that great teams aren’t measured only by their wins but by how they respond to losses. We’ve got to respond now.
JC: On a personal note, fans have noticed you carrying crystals in your kit bag. Do you still lean on those rituals before a match?
NSM: (laughs) Yes, guilty as charged. I keep an amethyst for calm and a citrine for energy. Some lads tease me, but for me it’s about focus and balance. Rugby is brutal on the body and the mind—any little edge helps.
JC: And your diet—still avoiding red meat?
NSM: Completely. Lots of greens, grains, and fish. Some say you can’t play international rugby without steaks, but I like proving them wrong.
JC: Last question, and forgive me for going off-pitch—rumors have been swirling about you and Carmella Hightower. Anything you’d like to share with readers?
NSM: (smiles) Carmella’s a wonderful person, and yes, we’ve been spending time together. Right now, though, my priority is rugby. The Lions first, always.
JC: Nelson, thank you. Hard luck tonight, but the nation is behind you.
NSM: Thank you, Jessica. We’ll rise again.
The Lions next face a must-win encounter, and if Nelson Saint Mark’s calm resolve is any indication, the story of Group C is far from over.

    1425 Giovannilandian Chess Championship Concludes!

Sonserino, Giovanniland — The 1425 Giovannilandian Chess Championship happened throughout September 1425 and has now come to an end with the victory of Gustavo Takeda over Karlo Neurino-Sousa in the final match! It featured forty participants from different regions of Giovanniland, playing in a group stage where the top two from each group advanced to the knockout stage and then decided the winner. The event was visited by notable political figures, including Prime Minister Elisa Anario-Silva and His Majesty King Giovanni VI.
Every year, regional competitions determine the participants of each championship. Places are allocated to each region in proportion to their population, and these competitions are often a place for rising stars in national chess to be known for a wider audience, while established players usually confirm their qualification quickly. Thirty-nine players arrived into the national competition out of this process, joined by the defending champion Raffella Quadrigaro, who won back-to-back in the 1423 and 1424 editions.

Groups A, C, F and H had two Grandmasters qualify from each, whereas the other four groups all had one Grandmaster leading, and either an International or Candidate Master in second. These included two names that hadn't ever qualified before to the knockout phase, namely Tommaso Kalgiani and Talle Vespasiano.
In the upper part of the bracket, International Master Talle Vespasiano surprised everyone by winning against two established grandmasters, namely Dezeno Purparboni and then Zutrina Palbario. He was, however, soundly defeated in the semifinals by Karlo Neurino-Sousa, who had defeated Giorgia Superbo-Legia and Isidoro Andago Santi previously. Credit must also be given to Isidoro though, as he arrived into the quarterfinals for the second time ever (and the first since rising from Candidate Master to International Master), and this time by defeating 1420 champion Lavinia Pasquale-Arbone.
The lower part of the bracket had matches just as interesting as the upper part. Gustavo Takeda was the finalist from here, and he went past through notable opponents such as defending champion Raffella Quadrigaro in the quarterfinals, as well as 1423 runner-up Vittore Nima-Liamo in the semifinals! The matches between Gustavo and Vittore seem to have become a staple of the tournament in recent times, seeing as they happened in the knockout stage in 1422, 1423 and 1425—and at last, Gustavo has had his revenge from the previous two times. Other notable competitors in this part of the bracket were Sergio Amorante-Aquilano and Guillermo Urido-Amorino, whose round of 16 duel was won by the latter, before Guillermo fell to Vittore afterwards.
The bronze match then took place between Talle Vespasiano and Vittore Nima-Liamo, and was won by the latter! This matches carries a strong symbolic meaning, seeing as both are younger chess players representing the future of Giovannilandian chess. Last but not least, the final match featured Gustavo Takeda and Karlo Neurino-Sousa! It was a very close dispute that Gustavo won after tiebreaks, returning to winning a championship after six years! Gustavo has now won three times, namely 1416, 1419 and 1425. Meanwhile, Karlo seems to be continuing a title drought, since he last acquired a title in 1418, although his experience and multiple titles in decades prior must nevertheless be acknowledged.

Somewhere in Ryxtylopia... we aren't sure because James was in charge of directions...
[May grabs something from the luggage the trio took with them on their flight with the Youkai.]
James May: Hey chaps, look at what I brought from our last visit here.
    Richard Hammond: Oh? Let's see.

A small thing done by Hammond at the 1423 Football World Cup III, in the same place as the 1425 Rugby World Cup VI.
    R. Hammond: Oh, I remember doing this. Hard to believe it's been only two years. Feels like it's been a lot longer...
Jeremy Clarkson: Here's mine, in case anyone was interested in obtaining my impeccable fashion sense.

Clarkson does not, in fact, have an impeccable fashion sense.
    J. Clarkson: ...What do you mean, pubes?!
    R. Hammond: Have you seen your hairline, Jeremy?
    J. Clarkson: Well, it's better than having a wet mop on your head!
    J. May: At least my hair is natural.
    J. Clarkson: This is natural!
    R. Hammond: Yeah, about as natural as those slip-on shoes.
[May looks down to see Clarkson's shoes.]
    J. May: ......Are you wearing those for a bet?
    J. Clarkson: No?
    J. May: No!?
[May and Hammond try to hold back subtle laughter.]
    R. Hammond: Anyway, uh, here's mine.

Naturally since Hammond made these, he'd make the one about himself the most flattering.
    R. Hammond: I think I rather outdid myself here.
    J. May: Wait, fight? Extra tallness? God of dwarves?
    J. Clarkson: I added those parts.
    R. Hammond: I noticed. So I added the part about the boots.
    J. Clarkson: You still wouldn't be able to reach me.
    R. Hammond: You wanna give it a go, huh?
    J. May: Chaps, let's not...!
    J. Clarkson: No, yeah okay, let's remain civil.
    R. Hammond: Yeah, let's not make this into a fight.
    J. May: Now then, where's mine?
    [Hammond looks incredulously at May.]
    R. Hammond: James. You don't have one.
    J. May: Why not?
    R. Hammond: YOU NEVER SHOWED UP.
    J. Clarkson: I recall you getting lost in a slum.
    J. May: ...Oh yeah. I was kind of hoping you wouldn't remember that.
    J. Clarkson: How could we forget? The Tsar had to pick you up.
    R. Hammond: And that bodyguard nicked your identity.
    J. May: I wasn't best pleased with her. She made me become Dingleberry Handpump.
    J. Clarkson: We should call you that again.
    R. Hammond: Another time, Jeremy.
    J. May: A time called never.
    R. Hammond: You can't escape it, she's James May now. Has been for 2 years now, and if you steal Vanya's identity back, Mecislavs security team will be hunting you down in big black tanks all across Esferos.
    J. Clarkson: Don't worry. You're still James May to us.
    J. May: That's possibly the most touching thing you've said.
    J. Clarkson: I'm still going to call you Handpump though.
    J. May: Why?
    J. Clarkson: Because it's funny.
    R. Hammond: I'll go sort out the legal documents, shall I?
    J. May: You bloody well will not. I'll throw you into the slums here.
    R. Hammond: They don't exist, remember?
[Hammond laughs while being a sod.]

Nouveauterra VS Ryxtylopia - A shot at revenge.

It was around mid-day, as Tivarra and the players trained at the Talaxachá RC complex, near the Istadio Trixalpe. Tivarra trying to come up with a strategy for Ryxtylopia's match against Nouveauterra, he already had his lineup which switched Marco Va'atí for Kaixe Disquerravia and Franco Chalquaté for Rinaco Dipartí. But he still struggled slightly in plotting a strategy.
During the group stage of RWC V, last year, Nouveauterra had been the only team to beat Ryxtylopia, and now with a more experienced team they did not appear as "easy" of an opponent as they appeared to the ARR before the loss last year. So this time Tivarra would play it cautious.

As Tivarra thought, Kaixe Disquerravia and Marco Xilta practiced their passes in the background.
[K. Disquerravia]: Weren't you there in the first match against Nouveauterra last year?
[M. Xilta]: I was, they put up a stiff fight, and ensured their qualification by beating us.
[K. Disquerravia]: I watched the match, they were surprisingly good at timing their tackles and go on the counter.
[M. Xilta]: Tell me about it.

Suddenly Xilta gets hit on the back of the head by a ball.
    [M. Xilta]: Ow! What the?!
[R. Huilchica]: SORRY! SORRY! I slipped and it messed up my kick!
[M. Xilta]: Ow- Ugh be careful!
[R. Huilchica]: Yeah, im really sorry Xilta! I don't know if you noticed but i have been practicing my kicks for 3 hours now.
[K. Disquerravia]: Im guessing missing the conversion last time was what caused Tivarra to force you into this?
[R. Huilchica]: Yes, i didn't aim it correctly...
[M. Xilta]: Well hopefully practicing helps you.
[R. Huilchica]: Oh you'll see, I won't miss any conversion or drop goal after this day is over!
[M. Xilta]: So you're telling me you will miss them during the game?
[R. Huilchica]: No wait- that's not-

Xilta and Disquerravia laugh, as Huilchica puts his hand on his head, right as the coach called them.
[Tivarra]: Alright everybody, gather around. Time to talk about rugby.
[A. Guilbirto]: What's in line for this match?
[Tivarra]: You Guilbirto, do the same as with Staneburg, you're doing great. For Darrias, Visquelpá, Huilchica and Disquerravia. I want you all to keep the ball on THEIR side for the first half, if its too risky don't try to score tries, go for drop goals, I may switch some of you later for the second half. We'll do a simialr strategy to the one with Staneburg, just pressure them but don't commit to any attcks just yet. Wanna go for Drop Goals? ABSOLUTELY go for them IF you have the openings to do so. Only go for tries if they let their defense down.
[R. Huilchica]: What about everybody else?
[Tivarra]: Mataña, Xilta and Farris, you're on support, move as forward as you can, pass to any of the people i mentioned then inmediatley pull back. Everybody else is in defensive duty, i want NO GAPS, you've already seen what Nouveauterra can do if they time their tackles with us being either all in their half or opening up our lines.
Everybody nods in agreement with the plan.
[Tivarra]: As for the second half, we play more agressive, unless they play defensive we'll play for possession of the ball, get them to make gaps between their players with quick passes and lots of running. If they go offensive, i want as many tackles as possible, you know I don't like defensive play so we push for counter-attacks.
[Tivarra]: Alright you're all free to go back to training now.

[K. Disquerravia]: Im excited and nervous, I think we need to try our best to finish leading the group.
[R. Huilchica]: If we win this we'll also most likely be qualified.
[M. Xilta]: The Istadio Trixalpe may not be as big as the Chacas Arena, but if anything the more closed structure will trap more of the sound from the fans.
[K. Disquerravia]: Maybe with their pressure we'll break the Nouveauterran defense.
[R. Huilchica]: Im hoping. Anyways, gotta keep kicking, ill see you later.
[M. Xilta]: Yeah, we'll go back to passing too.

The three of them go back to training for the match ahead.

(A joint post in collaboration with @Zoran)

Meeting room of the Ryxtylopian Worker’s Party.
    Bilixas neighborhood, Ryxenia.
    11:00 hrs, Ryxenia time (IAT-1).

It was a cloudy day, as members from the Ryxtylopian left-wing coalition: Avanzé por e póvo gathered in the meeting room of their largest member party, the Ryxtylopian Worker’s Party or PT. In that room were also present members from the Popular Party (PP), the National Agrarian Party (PNA), and the Socialist Workers Front (FST).
Given what had happened during the last legislative session, it was no surprise they would have accepted the proposal to arrange such a meeting.
The other representatives came from the International Organization for Workers’ Liberation or IOWL, hailing from Zoran. The goal of the meeting was to expand the reach of socialism within Ryxtylopia, since while it had many socialist parties, only twice they had gotten a majority in congress, back in the 1370’s.

As the members of the coalition waited for the IOWL representatives to show up, a few doubts and questions started to arise, the first person to bring them up would be PP member: Marco Zincha
[M. Zincha]: And what do you think they want to achieve with this?

    PT member: Guilbirto Disvilaxia responds.
[G. Disvilaxia]: Well, what we briefly talked about earlier, they want to help us expand our reach, other than a portion of the lower class, we don’t really seem to get much traction.
[M. Zincha]: I'm asking, mainly for PNA and FST, you know how weary they are about foreign meddling in our country, and they are for some reason present here?
[G. Disvilaxia]: They’re our allies! Even if their point of view may be a bit more extreme, plus I wouldn’t consider this foreign meddling, if so then we’d also have to consider any type of contact with foreigners meddling.
[M. Zincha]: Fair enough, I just really hope this can go well.

An old representative from FST: Danté Xilvas responds.
[D. Xilvas]: If the Zoranians can help us, I'm in favor of this meeting happening. I was there when we got a majority in 74’ right before the coup. We had only gotten to do 2 congress sessions before the military took over! And then I had to flee the country!! If the Zoranians can help us extend our reach, then I'd say we let them help us!
[M. Zincha]: Alright. They should arrive soon. I just don’t understand why only now we’ve been approached by people from abroad, and not before we could’ve been in power in 1414 if given a little boost or with some more experience.
[D. Xilvas]: Don’t be so skeptical, while we don’t know what they’re going to talk about specifically, they could bring some really helpful ideas to the table.

Soon after they stop talking, the IOWL representatives arrive. The first to enter is a woman with her black hair tied up in a bun and she is followed by a man in a black suit. The woman is holding a manilla folder and has a wide brilliant smile as she says.
[A. Anidodala]: Good afternoon! It is a pleasure to meet you all! I am Amatha Anidodala, but you can call me Ama, and this Kaiyatahee Aniwadulisi.
[K. Aniwadulisi]: You can just call me Kai if that’s easier for you. We’re with the International Organization for Workers’ Liberation and we are very thankful for your willingness to meet with us today.

The representative of PT: Xavio Dixisquelva would respond.
[X. Dixisquelva]: It's a pleasure to have you here. After we got your proposal we decided to accept as if you have seen the news recently, we had a bit of trouble in congress. And it has become increasingly difficult to reach any sort of compromise with the ruling parties.

He’s followed by the representative of PP: Riberto Ampardia.
[R. Ampardia]: I'm glad you decided to make the flight north, however me and some of my colleagues are still wondering. How do you plan to aid us? Or what can you help us achieve? I understood that the point of this meeting is to help us extend our reach, am I correct?

Amatha nods and hands the manilla folder to them, laying it down on the table.
[A. Anidodala]: Yes, it is quite simple really. We wish to work with you all in order to promote the ideals of socialism among the Rytylopian population. You have the local connections and we have the funding and material.
[K. Aniwadulisi]: We plan on doing this through one of the easiest ways to get people’s attention: free food. We plan on launching food drives in key population centers in Ryxtylopia, starting here in the capital of course. As we distribute food we have some of our members and volunteers talk to the Ryxtylopian people and teach them about how they are being oppressed by the bourgeoisie that rule the country and constantly put their own pockets before the wellbeing of the people. We will help them achieve class consciousness and the finer points of socialist theory such as dialectical materialism and the need for world revolution against the tyrannical elites.
[A. Anidodala]: Our supporters in the Junaluskanist Party back home have also given us material to distribute to the populace in the Ryxtylopian language for various levels of literacy.
[R. Ampardia]: That sounds great, but I do have a few questions. I think the most urgent one is if we should try to align with MSR, UC and PDR, last congress session they did help us pressure for answers regarding where the funding for RWC 6 came from, however they are only circumstantial allies of ours, as while we share some views with them on certain social issues, we differ in our way of handling the economy.

The representative for PNA: Santigo Chalquez quickly gets up and yells:
[S. Chalquez]: Why should we invite them with the plan? Only because we were on the same side last time doesn’t mean we need to invite them to this, if we’re going to achieve change it will be from OUR doing, not theirs.
[R. Ampardia]: I see your point Chalquez, but they are major political forces. Even if we may have our differences they could be of great help, only if we convince them to go with the plan, it could be the biggest coalition in the history of this country ever since the democratic coalition of 89’.
[S. Chalquez]: And how would such a big coalition stay together and not fall apart?
[R. Ampardia]: Well that’s beyond the scope of this meeting, I would like to know what Ama and Kai think on the matter.

Kaiyatahee and Amatha look at each other for a moment, seemingly discussing without any words before looking back at the others.
[K. Aniwadulisi]: We do not think that including the other parties would be in your best interests. They’re promoters of the status quo, not true reformers or revolutionaries, simply those who speak of reform but don’t enact it.
[A. Anidodala]: Agreed. Also keep in mind that if you involve them that you would still be sharing power with them and votes are limited. If you want to reap the benefits of these efforts then you need to be the ones to do it.
[X. Dixisquelva]: Well, and when should we begin? I can start gathering contacts to distribute this aid in the places that need it the most, in around one or two days.
[R. Ampardia]: Beginning soon would be for the best.
[A. Anidodala]: Indeed it would. If you start making arrangements today we can have the food and materials ready within a day or two.
[X. Dixisquelva]: I'll reach out to the PT delegations in other cities. I believe PNA can handle most of the countryside once we reach that phase. FST and us should be able to handle the urban workers, and I think Ampardia and his party can handle some of the younger people like students.
[R. Ampardia]: You know I used to lead the Parta’ana student movement in 72’, I have that part handled.
[X. Dixisquelva]: And PNA and FST?

Chalquez and the FST representative: Pailo Virridscaya respond:
[S. Chalquez]: Just let me know when you decide to move on to aiding rural communities.
[P. Virridscaya]: I'll organize aid distribution spots for some of the industrial neighborhoods in Ryxenia and Vynitiná.
[X. Dixisquelva]: Then we are ready.
[K. Aniwadulisi]: It would seem so. We are looking forward to working with you and supporting the worker’s movement abroad! We will be in touch.
[X. Dixisquelva]: Alright, on behalf of Avanzé por e povo, I thank you very much for coming and having this meeting with us, we will update you on any progress we make.

After applauding the representatives and members from the coalition get up and start leaving, ending the meeting.
It was the first time a Ryxtylopian political bloc had cooperated with an foreign organization, nobody knew the impact this alliance would have, but it seemed it had lots of potential.

United Adaikes reacted to Dalimbar in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]
During his speech at the Natural Resources Forum in Saint Andreisburg, Major General Asya Smola, Chief of Energy Development, announced that the Free State Hydroelectric Corporation (FS Hydro) will embark on an unprecedented level of construction over the next 10 years, building out the Free State's electricity system to power a growing clean economy and communities, and create new jobs.
“We must expand our electrical system like never before, to power industrial development, to power our homes and businesses, to power our future,” said Maj. Gen. Smola. “Clean, affordable energy will help us meet that opportunity, while reducing pollution, securing good-paying jobs and creating new opportunities for our growing economy.”
Maj. Gen. Smola noted that a ƒ36-billion investment for community and regional infrastructure projects that will deliver clean, affordable electricity to people and businesses in the future.
FS Hydro’s updated 10-year capital plan, Power Pathway: Building Dalimbar's Energy Future, includes almost ƒ36 billion in community and regional infrastructure investments throughout the nation between 1425-26 and 1434-35. This represents an increase of 50% over FS Hydro’s previous capital plan (ƒ24 billion), and includes a significant increase in electrification and emissions-reduction infrastructure projects (nearly ƒ10 billion, up from ƒ1 billion).
These new construction projects are projected to support 10,500 to 12,500 jobs on average annually, and will increase and maintain FS Hydro’s capital investments as major projects like Site 6 are completed.
The plan reflects growing demand for electricity across sectors due to population growth and housing construction, increased industrial development, and people and businesses diversifying from fossil fuels to clean electricity, among other factors. It includes:
building new high-voltage transmission lines and supporting infrastructure in the Far-East to meet industrial customer demand in the that area, including in the mining sector; building or expanding substations and installing new equipment to support residential housing growth and transit electrification in high-growth areas across the Saint Andreisburg metropolitan area; and upgrading Dalimbar’s dams and generating facilities to make them safer, more reliable and more efficient. FS Hydro's goal is to acquire new sources of clean, renewable electricity, including wind and solar. The Free State is well positioned to add additional intermittent renewables to the grid as its integrated, flexible system of hydro-electric dams act as batteries. The reservoirs store water and allow FS Hydro to ramp production up or down almost instantly, providing a reliable back up for when the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing.
