There will likely be some downtime this weekend as I continue to try and figure out what is causing all our forum woes... No exact time frames, so bare with me.

Figured it wasn't an obvious place for someone just seeing the problems to find it...so posted a link
 
I'm starting to think I might need to export the forum settings into a fresh install to get rid of these problems.... *sigh*

Well...the liking may be slow, but it does complete...
I still don't understand the trouble it has, but at least I have a work around for the problem...
 
So the Clubhouse Forum is doing it as well then?

I've still got the issue with most forums. The spam one's did the same for me just now, haven't tried the others.

HOLY CRAP, I FIXED IT!

Seems it's not the Posts, or even the Topics, that were at fault, but something in the Forum itself...  By Creating a new forum and moving all the topics to it, it fixed it...for that Forum.
 
So I need people to let me know of Forums that are having the problem, and then I will re-create the forums in question.

*sigh* still no idea why it's doing what it's doing...but I've verified it's not a problem with the Javascript, or Ad-Blocker...  The AJAX Query sends the request for the new post, but the server never replies to say "done" so the Javascript just keeps turning and turning...

I've noticed it too, but I'm still trying to recover other databases at the moment, so bare with me.  I have a forum update that I need to apply as well so when I get a chance I'll try to fix it.
 
It's a bad time of year for all this to have rolled down...Christmas, 2 family birthdays...work...*sigh*

I would love to be able to allow Guest Posting, but that's just a HUGE invitation for link spam.  I'm actually amazed it hasn't happened already.  Forum must have been hidden enough to avoid it.

It just means those are the leading nations for developing the cure, which usually are the top 5 biggest nations that started developing a cure right at the beginning.  I think anyway.

I'm getting tired of your impatient-ness.  When you see someone answer that they've done it, that's when it gets done.

URAP behaved poorly and negatively towards this community, and his fellow forumites, and I removed him from the forums.  Much as I would remove a town drunk from a community gathering.  He is no longer welcome here.

New and Improved are always better right?  So I should remove that "Launch" button from the nuclear section of the admin panel eh? (I think you're the only one that will get that smilie's history Eli...)
 
While the backup for Punk was a bit old it only means he may need to reset his password/email...posts and topics should be ok.

I just checked my hostmaster account and seem to only be seeing AOL emails coming back (AOL Apparently thinks I'm a SPAM King or something, but my server is not on any blacklists that I know of).
 
Tell him to send me a TG in NS and I'll change the password for him.

Look, I pay for these forums, I pay for this server, and I work a real job where I have to deal with this stuff all day.  I'm not exactly coming home from work, full of zim to do more web development.  I will get to it WHEN I GET TO IT.

And here is where I sit and shout "COOOKIES!!!"  I've since upgraded to 3 27" Monitors, but don't have a photo of the desk since...so imagine those 2 24" monitors are taking up some more space...
