January of 2006, it was an adaption (theft) of an flag idea of one of the opposition types, or perhaps it was similar to what they were using already here in TWP and I just gave it to Winni to clean up.

I'm kinda color blind and not real impressed by that type stuff.

I was in a motel in Jackson, TN on a business trip and had just got back from happy hour, F&P insulted me for what was going to be the last time (it wasn't), I went banject crazy, and we abandoned the old forum. I banjected everyone with over 50 endos, except for clockwork isle and Faeya.

Heck I even banjected BBD, he came around though once he figured out I wasn't anti-community, I was just anti-jackass

TNP if you like constant arguing about minutiae any same person would avoid in RL and why the hell would you engage in it for fun?

    Lawsuits for fun?

Took me a minute, but I remember that emoticon. I thought it was a bit crass but not something to get upset over.  But I've spent enough time in darker, worser corners of the internet.
But that was M.O. for a lot of people in the game back then, wasn't it? Whoever gets most offended the fastest "wins". Remember the Tabloid Tribune article about PopeHope being a strumpet?  Talk about a shit show.

Ah that's right. I was thinking of a different group, different crisis for the emoticon.  I enjoyed Chainik Hocker's company. He and I disagreed on everything, in-game and out, but he could hold a conversation. F&P on the other hand, I liked him only because I enjoyed debating with him made me feel smart.  He was still a psycho.

The endo cap here is 70, not 10. I ran it without endorsement caps, BUT if anyone got over a magic number I sent them packing

This is The West Pacific, you most certainly can mount an operation to overcome the Delegate, it is possible. RolHeath did it

That is correct, should Tweedy decide that RL allows more time to participate here once again we will allow that.

There won't be any opposition, I'm sure. If there is we will persuade them to adopt our point of view.

If TWPs military is in rebellion against the Delegate they'll get banjected.

Just like any other tawdry miscreant.

If they're in rebellion then they aren't TWPs military but someone else's. If that's the case why have one at all?

I have to agree with Vlagh, there is no legitimate role for the forum govt. with the military, it is solely a game function.

If the Delegate wants to allow them to frolic without direction then I would defer to the Delegate, otherwise they need to follow the Delegate's orders or move somewhere else.

The WA elects a Delegate, not a Counselor or legislator.

Me thinks you don't understand the game Frat, the Delegate is the Ruler of the region.

There is a HUGE difference between the forum government working with the Delegate toward a desired goal and ordering the Delegate to do something.

Were you or the forum govt. to order me to do anything you'd be visiting Unibot in his fantasy world democracy, that you may depend upon.

I would prefer that the Voice (nice terminology) would only express it's misgivings or recommendations (by a vote) about treaties that the Delegate may wish to enter into

Surely any Delegate that wanted to maintain their position would work with the Voice to come up with a solution to any such issue without a vote in the first place.

Likewise I would advocate that any in game military be ultimately subservient to the Delegate, if the Delegate so desires.

But otherwise, I must say I'm quite impressed. Cormac you have done well with this.
