The trouble with leaving TWP for a while and then returning for the occasional pop-in, is that you've not the slightest idea what's going-on; most of the old regulars have left, you don't know many of the active new regulars, and they haven't the slightest idea who you are!  Severely limits the understanding of any gossip that's gone-on, or anything else for that matter!

I am not bowel incontinent, thankyouverymuch

I was however surprised by some basic mistakes made by a group that should have known better.

Also, for the record:  I have always hated the dumbass ranking questions.  It's like highschool prom queen or something.  Stupid and irrelevant.
What do I deem important?  Simple: It's a game.  Are you having fun?

I can't speak for Darkesia, but the repetitive, condescending refrain of "calm down," "calm down," "I'm glad to see you've calmed down" is on my last nerve. The constant references to ad hominem attacks like Elegarth is the only one who's engaged in them is also annoying. The fluffy kittens are also really condescending, like Elegarth needs to see kittens in order to "calm down." All of it seems very condescending, immature, and all around disrespectful, to be honest. Passive aggressive personal jabs are still jabs despite their passive aggressive nature.

Not meant as an attack on you, just pointing out some issues since you genuinely don't seem to understand what is frustrating people.

Ainur appointed forum destroyer 94 Block to command their military. That was strike one.

Ainur retained forum destroyer 94 Block to command their military after he took up arms against a fellow GCR. That was strike two.

Ainur dispatched forum destroyer 94 Block to conduct diplomacy with The West Pacific via their forum embassy. That was strike three.

Ainur is, in my opinion, out. I move to close Ainur's forum embassy.

Tweedy reacted to Westwind in COPS Treaty banning
In keeping with both the COPS Treaty and Administrative policy, account 94 Block has been banned as a known forum destroyer.
Attempts to violate this ban may result in the filing of charges to the full extent of the law. (That's RL law, in case it's not clear enough.)

I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed. I abhor bad manners. Oops! Just popped-in for a nose-about - just ignore me! Lol!

Perhaps somebody should start a "Write Your Own Silly West Pacific Law", thread. We could choose the silliest ones and make them law!

So it now seems that 10000 Islands, The East Pacific and The Rejected Realms all condone The Nazis and their beliefs! No amount of waffle and pseudo-intellectual theorizing will change that shocking appearance to the outside world!  There is no use arguing that this is a game and not real life, because If the Nazi flag in the form of the swastika is banned by NationStates there is in that banning the acceptance that real life does matter.

Some would say surprisingly racist as well, but as only one race is involved - the human race, this cannot be so; unless, of-course you don't like the human race, then we must assume that you might have a marsupial connection, which would involve us looking for an insidious and cunningly hidden pouch.

Quite uncalled for. The whole point of us being here is the game of pretence, so I really hope that The Wickedly Evil One is pretending to be a rude and unpleasant.

He-he! Why is-it that certain people suddenly decide to talk in a sort of Warsaw Pact politik-speak as soon as there is even a hint of opposition?
The first person to say "lackey" or "proletariat" is a sissy!

Tweedy got a reaction from Darkesia in Wow...these forums are dead...where is everyone?
We could always treat the Delegate as the British treat the Queen; that of a Head of State that is the signatory to agreements made by the Prime Minister, and treat the Guardians as advisers to the Delegate as The Privy Council advises the Queen, The Queen has no vote in reality, but the Delegate would of-course have a vote. Even Britain cannot be called a true Democracy as the role of the monarch is hereditary and the British public do not have a choice in who reigns, but we can surely involve more people under a sort of Democracy in this game? We'll have to find a role for the Delegate (and the members as a whole) which is hierarchical and involving but not dictatorial if activity is to be improved. Having a system where everyone is equal (no hierarchy/attainment etc.) just doesn't work; equal opportunity to progress in a fair society, does!
