Thank you, TAO. I feel suitably chuffed! I might even un-retire...

Any talk on the street about TWP having a complete dickhead for a Delegate?
No? Only a matter of time then.

I'm new, I don't understand the politics yet but I intend to stay and wish to learn.

I'm too new to know what was going on, so I don't feel I can comment on what was going on.
But on a personal basis, if I ever see someone talking like this I consider it a sign that they are someone who I can respect and talk to. I have a "I hear what you say, and respect your views if you will accord me the same. Agreeing to disagree is a sign of maturity, if we each respect the others views a way forward can usually be found" attitude to working with others.
Debt collectors have to be good at conflict resolution - we want our money and you can't/won't pay it, clear communication leaves the way for a resolution to be worked out.

I'm definitely going to give this thread a reboot.
Sunspots, Pluto, Rosetta - lots to discuss. Give me a little time, currently manning the revolutionary barricades.

Too new to have one yet, but I am getting my staff to work on one based on a song I had published back in the early 80's. It's got a great marching beat and a rousing chorus - just need to rework the words. A song about nuclear war for a nice peaceful colony doesn't quite work lol

The national anthem of Fujai is called "By Fjord and Mountain." In the original Fujaian it is called "Avf Fjord et Fujell," and in Norwegian it is called "Av Fjord og Fjell."  The words are based on an old folk song about the beauty of Fujai, with a similar theme to "Solas Ané."  Lyrics here.  It is a ballad sung to a slow march at 80 bpm in D major.

In real life, basically every country has a national anthem, so I decided to create a forum where we can talk about our national anthems.

Zogradia's anthem is called "My Beautiful Zogradia" (lyrics here). It was partially inspired by Lupang Hinirang (Philippines), and has a similar rhythm, and is meant to be celebratory and cheerful. It's available in five languages (English, Korean, Arabic, Russian, and German), though the different languages would have different rhythms than the original English version (an Ikida translation is planned, too).
