Your original area request was reduced for being too large and brought to a size that would have minimal effect on your other requested statistics and indicators. Wanting one's nation to be larger for the sake of being larger is not a compelling enough reason for expansion.

It'll take me extra long to park because I cannot parallel park to save my life

For balance reasons, to increase your nation's land area, one or more of your nation's other metrics (population, GDP/capita, gov't spending, etc) would have to be significantly lowered to compensate. More importantly, why do you wish for your nation to have a larger land area? What purpose does it serve? There have to be very good reasons for the Cartography Board to be able to consider this.

Full agree on this one—never being stressed sounds incredibly freeing Being forced into a choice, I'd really go with never being angry, because while both anger and envy can be extremely good and useful emotions, I have a hot headed streak inherited from my father that comes out rarely and I don't like it. But envy can be extremely useful for personal growth so I wouldn't want to get rid of that. The biggest risk in removing all anger is removing righteous anger that motivates you to make positive change in the world—however there are probably a lot healthier emotions you can channel to find that motivation

Can I take the three months (~90 days) instead of the 1 week/month (84 days) and still use them to take a week off every month or something similar? Devil's advocate a little but in a world that had either of these options it wouldn't make sense for the timing to be forced

@The_Fungus0909 You must be approved for Hall of Nations citizenship before your Mapplication™ can be approved. Please do so here ASAP and we'll get you moving forward. Regarding your Mapplication™ itself, there are several issues: "Resident nation" refers to the nation you have residing in TWP gameside on Nationstates.net While you do not need a Discord account to participate in roleplay, we do highly suggest you join the TWP server and TWP Roleplay server, as they are the hubs for community communication. If you do so, we will need your Discord username to get you properly masked. "Map nation name" is the name you choose for the country you wish to create in the world of Esferos. As such, it does not need to match your NS nation name and it must not contain references to countries existing on Earth. This is expanded upon in the Guide thread, which is also pinned in this subforum Re: your nation's history, you must work out shared histories—in this case a potential history with Kalmach—with that person and not in your Mapplication™. Don't get too attached to a concept before you do this, as you cannot force someone else's country to have a certain relationship with your own. On fascism: As a government system and plot device, it is fine. However, the moment a fascist RP nation becomes a clone of the Third Reich or utilizes Nazi symbolism or known hate group imagery, a ban will be immediately and irrevocably levied. Heya folks! I'm doing some research on the history of our regional flag and am hoping to do a little crowdsourcing to fill some gaps and see what old images folks have on their computers. If there are any mistakes in what I've gathered so far, please let me know! If you've also got any other versions of regional flags or TWPAF flags, I would love to collate them here for this effort. If anyone's got stories about the flag as well I'd love to hear them! I have a few of my own re: the most recent two flags that I'll add later. This is what I've got so far, with a very small amount of research: Early 2003, courtesy of @New People, the flag of the Atlantic, sourced here 2004-2005ish, courtesy of @Dilber, possibly earliest known version of the traditional flag: Late 2006-February 28, 2019, after Eli's first delegacy, courtesy of @Winnipeg, sourced here. Numerous slight variations were created over the years as old versions were deprecated and new ones were created. This is the earliest known version without the text from the one Dilber has: March 1, 2019-February 18, 2020, Imperial China flag, note slightly off colors in the rays and field—that's the earliest one post-theme contest that I can find in the Cabinet Room on Discord. I fixed the second one up at a later date with the right ones, but I don't remember which was flown more often at the time, so I'm assuming it was the first: February 17, 2020-present, Triangle Banner, The Flag That Has Always Been Our Flag, from me:

The second half of 2022 was pretty shite in some respects, but also had some very high points. Nonetheless I'm really looking forward to some changes that 2023 will bring—hopefully a bit of a reset for me and an opportunity to be happier.

Okay see my issue here is that I love the aesthetic of the only white lights, especially on the outside because they shine so nicely on the snow, but also I live for excessive color so uhh imma vote colorful but say both
