Been thinking about this move for a while, especially as my time spent off-site has decreased quite dramatically. I've said it on the RMB, so I'll say it here as well. My Guardianship will end with Darkesia's Delegacy. Therefore, combining this with the fact that I have done legislation to death through many years involvement I think it is appropriate that I no longer have a say in the off-site government. I tender my resignation from the HGA, effective immediately.

Okay, here's the obvious ones: Shadoke: was in Madrigal, now residing in Ceirien Iwaku Shadoke: residing in Glorious Nations of Iwaku Another 12 puppets named Shadoke followed by a roman numeral, all residing in Violet Irises, a Black Hawk puppet dump Based on the primary Shadoke's motto, Ekodas is another puppet, residing in The Black Hawks Will keep an eye out for him posting in Gameplay with other puppets.

From the Gameplay forums it is noted that the Association of Imperialism have had their off-site forums destroyed by one of their members, namely Shadoke. The nation has admitted the offence in the forum thread on this subject. While my personal opinion is that Rifty reaps what he sows, forum destruction is something that we have never and will never countenance. I request that TWP considers naming Shadoke and any puppets he may have as persona non grata both on this forum and in the region. Bhang Bhang Duc

Did see Comet Lovejoy the other night - only just mind you. It was in the light polluted murk close to my southern horizon. Should be better viewing now, but a bright, near-full moon will drown it out a bit. In solar news it's looking like the maximum of this cycle may have occured in April 2014. The sunspot numbers are smoothed in such a way that the latest smoothed number is alway six months behind the last actual month i.e. the latest smoothed number is for June 2014. Anyway, most of the data I've seen (plus my own personal data) indicates April was the maximum. Of course if we get another upturn in activity that can change, but I suspect April will eventually be confirmed as the time when maximum happened.

Comet Lovejoy is becoming visible from the northern hemisphere about now. You will need binoculars to see it - it's about mag 5.5 (mag 6 is the faintest you can see normally). Currently in the constellation of Lepus, which sits below Orion. The comet is moving northwesterly, through Eridanus up into Taurus over the next week or so. Check Sky and Telescope for finder charts.

Watched out for Geminid meteors the last couple of nights - saw a few, but wasn't observing that long. It was cold!
