Emphasis mine. First. Please stop name dropping to legitimize the actions taken. "Darkesia created the position" is no reason to keep that position. Second: That is not why I created the position. This is not to say that I agree or disagree with the actions taken by the current Delegate. It is only to say that you cannot lay this at my feet. Nor should you feel comfortable insisting that the position remain active, if the people feel threatened by the very existence of the position. I ask, Elegarth, (rhetorically) when a child is afraid of monsters in the closet, does belitteling those fears help to assuage them?

Okay. I am next with building. What shall we call this section? "Regional Provinces?" "Provincial West Pacific?" "Provincial DA Offices?" Let me know how you want it set up, Mr Delegate and I will build it. I'm leaving masking as General until things are hashed out.

No deleting of posts on the forums. We don't like to do that unless it's spam or breaks TOS somehow. Archiving is good, if you want it out of immediate sight and the OP is requesting it. (as in this case).

Until an alternative structure is offered. All we have been asked to do is remove access to The Voice. Others have expressed the desire to keep their access to that forum. I can build another forum section for the Delegate's new structure, if he likes. Or I could put it inside the Delegate's office. And I could make the access for general members, unless there is some list for access? Until there is some sort of guidance on what the community an Delegate want, it is a waste of effort and energy to lock down a thread and change masking on a large scale. (sorry for no paragraphing. Stupid blackberry)

Just putting this here to remind people. If you are uncomfortable with the direction of the Delegate, you are perfectly free to set up a different government here on the forums.

Stop. This thread is not for arguing. I have not removed any masking because I don't have a clue how things will be restructured yet. No sense in messing with masking that will have to be re-done in a few days. Remember, Westy is MIA and he was the expert in this kind of stuff.

I think there may be another way to accomplish what PunkD intends. It is in effect the way things actually exist in the region now (without the vote part). Give me a day to try to figure out how to put it into words? I think I can find a way to compromise in this case.

Can't get to this until I get to a laptop. It's a travel day for me, so don't count on access till tomorrow.

If Foreign Affairs or Intelligence remain unclaimed for a week, I would be interested in standing for one or both positions. My preference is that a newer player step up. But I understand that time constraints or insecurities may prevent that.

That is the most difficult part of playing in a feeder. There is this sort of blending of RP and Meta that is impossible to explain. Each feeder has its own way of approaching it.
