Ryxtylopia drops to second after defeat to Aftokratoria
    Ernysto Rivas

The win streak seemingly ended too soon for most Ryxtylopians, since after facing against the bottom team of the group, Aftokratoria, Ryxtylopia lost by 2 tries and fell down to 2nd place, the fans were mostly shocked since Aftokratoria was at the bottom of the group, they got their first win and jumped 2 spots up, to 5th place, now having a chance of making the group.
Ryxtylopia on the other hand, fell to second place, behind the United Adaikes, whom beat Arifiyyah 19-6 and took first place now having 12 points, Ryxtylopia still has 8 points, but remains ahead of their next match, Kalmach due to Point Difference, while fans are shocked and many members of the team are too, the coach: Andreís Tivarra had this to say:
"This is what i feared, am i in shock? of course not! I told them yesterday on the bus to not overlook Aftokratoria, and what do they do? They overlook Aftokratoria! The boys were asleep for half of the match and only woke up to conduct some decent damage control, but that still wasn't enough, that's what lost them the match!"
Marco Va'ati one of the players had this to say:
"Well, i guess i was wrong about the stuff i said last time, they played a good game, me and some of my friends weren't expecting this, some others were, if they hadn't prepared like they did, this defeat would've been worse, but fortunatley i did have teamates who didn't do the same mistakes i did."
We also interviewed the captain of the Aftokratorian team: Rankampi Kepatanios, and asked him a few questions about the match:
    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________
[Reporter]: "Good day Ryxtylopia, the pretty intense match between Ryxtylopia and Aftokratoria has just ended! And im here with the captain of the rival we just faced, Rankampi Kepatanios, now mister Kepatanios: What do you think about your team's performance in the match you just played?"
[Kepatanios]: "Performance? I am so proud, I can’t even put it into words. I think our performance was… just absolutely amazing, it was so great. Every one of our players did so well! It was a pretty close game for many parts of it, but the fact that we ever had a lead at all… I loved it. Sorry, I’m just in shock right now… We performed so well, as a team, and as individual players."
[Reporter]: "That's great! Now; Do you have any goals you would like to meet for the next matches your team will have?"
[Kepatanios]: "Goals… hmm, well even though 14 is really good, maybe trying to get more points than even that? Or even if we don’t get more points, if we play stronger, faster, smarter, and better, then that’s the same thing. My goals are to just improve as a player, as a teammate, and as a leader."
[Reporter]: "Alright, next question! What's your opinion on the Ryxtylopian team's performance on the match you just played?"
[Kepatanios]: "The Ryxtyltopians are an excellent team! They were a real challenge, and I am not surprised they kept top place in our grouping for so long. They are clearly experienced, and highly skilled, and I think we might be able to learn a few tips from them!"
[Reporter]: "Well, i guess that's true for half of our team! Those overconfident i- oh, sorry sorry, alright and my last question is; Do you think your team has the capacity to make the group?"
[Kepatanios]: "Well we are currently standing in 5th place, and though United Adaikes is also a very skilled team, internationally acclaimed for it, I do think we have a chance of beating them and moving up in the rankings, therefore making the group. Some doubt it, but I truly think we have the capability!"
[Reporter]: "Well, good to hear! I wish you and your team the best of luck in this tournament, and thank you for taking us up in the interview!"
    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Well, moving on from the match between Ryxtylopia and Aftokratoria, the rest of group D didn't see any other surprises, like said previously, UA beat Arifiyyah 19-6, while Fujai achieved a victory over Dilber 7-3, Arifiyyah and Dilber now falling to the bottom of the group (7th and 6th respectivley) with Aftokratoria being in reach of the qualification to the next round in 5th place, Fujai in 4th and the UNK (who didn't play today) in 3rd place.
In the other groups we did see other pretty intense matches and other pretty one sided matches: Group A saw Ostronia defeat Sekiya 24-12 and the dalimbari hosts doing the same with Teralyon 19-7, with Hertfordshire and Jammbo getting their first victory of this tournament after they won against Larxia 13-0, and now find themselves in a position to perhaps qualify for the next stage.
Group B starts off with a very one sided match, where Rivalfiume beat Apexiala 0-20, and Zoran scored 10 tries more than Varanius in a match that ended in a 10-3, and finally to end group B an intense but exciting match between Giovanniland and Saint Mark, Giovanniland winning 12-17, their team currently sitting at 2nd place in group B with Zoran in 1rst place Rivalfiume in 3rd and Varanius in 4th, Saranzio who didn't play today now sits 5th, and Saint Mark 6th, with Apexiala in 7th, seemingly with little hope of making the groups.
And finally group C, Overthinkers has secured qualification to the next stage! with a 17-5 victory over Cyrylic, behind them on the board is Cambria, defeating Einherfell 26-10, and Nieubasria bearly edging over Libterraria winning in a match that ended 17-19, Nieubasria sits 4th, behind Peourouin, who didn't play on this matchday, Cyrylic sits in 5th, while Libterraria and Einherfell sit in 6th and 7th respectivley.
And that's it for this matchday! While Ryxtylopia has been shocked, it can still recover, our next match is again Kalmach, who didn't play today, and hopefully our now humbled team will be more careful on this next match, thanks for reading!

    Adilíenti Ryxtylopia! A Vyncer!
Big Thanks to Aftokratoria for letting me conduct the interview with their team captain for this post!

Valeriya: (Smiling) "Thanks, Mr. Petrov. It was a team effort, and Matvei was a great help."
Matvei: (Blushing) "Just doing my part, Valeriya. You were amazing!"
[The scene ends with Valeriya, Matvei, and Mr. Petrov walking back to the village, the harvested fields in the background, as they talk about the next steps in the farming season and the camaraderie among the villagers.]

    Overconfidence? Not on my watch!
    (For MD4)

It was a calm day, as the members of the Ryxtylopian team were in a somewhat light training session, since soon they would face Aftokratoria, they weren’t that worried about Aftokratoria, but they wanted to keep the first place spot in the group, so it was best to be prepared for the match and not to let overconfidence take over the team.

As the coach, Andreís Tivarra made his way onto the pitch, he heard two of his players whispering:

“Do you think we’ll be able to hold on to first?”

“I mean we already did enough to consider our debut successful.”

“Yeah, im worried about our last two matches, against Kalmach and the United Adaikes, but hopefully we’ll do fine enough against Aftokratoria.”

Andreís without turning to see who were the ones chatting said; “Come on boys, don’t be confident, otherwise that will be you undoing”

Andreís was thinking a lot about Ryxtylopia’s defeat to Saint Mark in the world cup, how an overconfident coach had led his team to failure against on paper: a much weaker opponent, so he wanted to avoid something like that happening in this tournament.

But he also had to worry about the matches that would come after Aftokratoria, Kalmach and the United Adaikes, the 2nd and 3rd placed teams respectively.

Andreís knew things could turn around with one match, after all that’s what had happened when Ryxtylopia faced Dilber, so he not only had to worry about how well Ryxtylopia did, but also keep an eye on the other results, and the stress was starting to get to his head.

Nonetheless the team did pretty well in training and they went back to the hotel after training, where Andreís decided to share his concerns and the goals he wanted the team to meet:

“Alright everybody, listen up, there will be no overconfidence on this team, we are only halfway to the end of the groups, and things can still take a turn for the worst if all of you are not careful, so i want you all to, if not give your best, at least don’t let your guards down.”

“Aftokratoria may seem like an easy opponent we don’t know what way the match will go, no rugby match is a cakewalk, against Kalmach and the UA i do want you to give your best, and perhaps, if all of you do good and learn along the way we can not only make the groups but also the next stage of the tournament.”

“Our fans are counting on us to put on a good show, and if that isn’t enough your careers also could take a turn for the better, and our league in general! We will win the group, Adilienti Ryxtylopia!”

The team listened carefully before everybody shouted Adilienti Ryxtylopia! as the team members cheered and clapped as they continued on their way to the hotel, ready for the match against Aftokratoria.

Saint Mark reacted to Ostronia in 4th Rugby World Cup [rosters, roleplays, results]
Ostronia’s win over Teralyon felt hollow to Alex Uchechukwu.

They were at 17 and the Teralyians at 20, with just two minutes left in the match, when Yaya made a surprise pass across and just enough behind to Vil to let him charge in for the victorious final try, 22-20.

The Ostronian players, if anyone bothered to rate them, were better on offense than defense, and that had shown with their forwards. The backs, like Alex, hadn’t been so lucky. Three Teralyians got past him and three Teralyians had scored tries on the Ostronians in the first three minutes. Mr. Tafa, the team captain’s and oldest player, panting and aching from head to toe, told Alex, its youngest player, “to stop kicking yourself and start kicking that ball forward.” He had gotten the memo, and together he and the other backs held the Teralyians to just one more try the rest of the match–-enough to put Yaya and Vil in striking distance at the very end.

But he didn’t quite get the same joy and triumph his teammates had when they carried Vil and Yaya on their shoulders back to the locker room, nor the cheers of the crowd for the first-timers in the Rugby World Cup. Sure, he smiled and clapped shoulders and hugged his teammates and even bore Vil on his own back, but the smile disappeared sooner for him than anyone else.

He didn’t understand why. And though he wanted to seek advice from his captain, who resembled his father in more than just looks, Mr. Tafa was already busy handing out feedback and compliments to the rest of the team. Alex didn’t want to intrude with his little personal problem. Erik Tafa was captain of the team and that meant he had the whole team to worry about. Alex could solve his problems on his own, couldn’t he?

So he showered before anyone else and slipped out of the locker room as quietly as his height and bulk would allow him. Everybody was too busy chattering to miss him or his patchy performance on the pitch. He stepped out of the stadium into the brisk Nadu night air and blended into the crowds still leaving the match. He turned with them to walk towards his hotel, but on this melancholic whim he spun around and parted the stream of people to head the other direction.

A police officer, or whatever the Dalimbari called them, stopped him when he finally did break free of the human current. “Your blue card,” he demanded.

Alex searched his pockets. He felt his wallet, his prepaid phone with those expensive international minutes, his good luck charms from Ne-ne that she had told him never to show anyone lest they lose their fortuitous power, but no blue card. The officer’s eyes narrowed with each passing second, hand at the ready for the cuffs on his belt.

Finally, Alex’s trembling hands found the little card in the breast pocket of his jacket. He held it up to the officer. “T-this blue card?”

The officer rolled his eyes and snatched it from Alex’s grasp. “What, are you colorblind?” he sneered as he examined it more closely. His shoulders fell when he found nothing wrong with it. He handed the blue card back to Alex and waved him past. “Have a safe night,” he gritted.

Alex hurried by the officer and kept his pace up until he was sure he had put some distance between himself and the eyes still drawn on him like a bead. He stopped tensing up so much once he walked over a small bridge and out of the officer’s sight. Over the bridge were the lights of a line of bars and pubs, with open air seating for the world cup occasion. All of it seemed jam-packed with the match’s afterparty, except for this older, worn out place on the corner doing its best to dress up. It reminded him of Mr. Tafa, and so he went inside.

Inside, the lights were dimmed and the conversation inside muted. He found a stool at the bar where they were showing the highlights from the day’s matches. Alex avoided the one showing Ostronia versus Teralyon and stuck to informing himself on how the other teams were doing. Eventually, though, the sights and sounds began to wash over him as the beer washed down his throat. He was caught up in his own thoughts, trying to diagnose why it didn’t feel right to celebrate with the rest of his teammates. He was so caught up, in fact, that the first three times he didn’t notice the guy next to him tapping him on the arm.

“Hey, you doing alright?” the man said. He looked Dalimbari, and spoke with the same accent as the officer.

    “Long day,” Alex stated.

The man nodded. “It happens. Want to talk about it?”

He wasn’t in the mood for conversation. “No, I’m alright.”

“I’m right here if you change your mind,” the man replied. He went back to his drink and the screen without another word or even a sideways glance at Alex. It was as if he had never said anything to him at all.

Alex didn’t know what possessed him to speak. Maybe it was the man’s feigned ignorance of who sat beside him: the same young man whose sweaty face the camera was currently zoomed in on. As long as he wasn’t too deep in the bottle to actually not recognize the rugby player beside him, Alex appreciated the attempt to preserve his privacy.

“Actually, I’ve got a problem I’m trying to work out,” he said.

The man turned back. “What’s that?”

Alex kept up the charade. “At…work, we had a big…project. And I got off to a rough start, but pulled through by the deadline. The project was completed and everyone involved was really happy. Everyone except, well, our…competitors. But I don’t feel happy.”

    “Because of your performance?”

“I guess. But I should be feeling fine. Great, even. I should be able to brush off the rough start with the strong finish. I should be proud of what we accomplished. But I can’t get past it. I let a lot of…work slip through my fingers,” he sighed.

The man nodded. “It must feel cheap.”

“Exactly. Especially when it wasn’t my work, in the end, that made the difference. It was somebody else on the team who got us over the…finish line.”

The man put his drink down. “Do you think that if you didn’t put in any work at all, your colleague could have crossed that finish line?"

    “Well…maybe not…I don’t know…”

“There’s no need to equivocate. Just a yes or no.”

Alex tapped his head. “If I didn’t even bother, then I know the answer’s ‘no’ up here, but down here,” he said, tapping his chest, “‘no’ doesn’t feel like the right answer. He couldn’t have done it without me, but that just feels like…false pride.”

“What we don’t do affects others, it’s true. But what we do affects them even more. After that rough start, did you try really hard?”

“I really fought for it. With our ‘competitors,’ I mean. I wasn’t going to let them get by me one more time, even if it did happen just one more time.”

The man jabbed a thumb up at the screen, still playing more rugby. “It’s not just bar patrons and stadium crowds watching, kid. You players are in the thick of it all. You’ve got a front row seat to all your ‘competitors’...and your ‘colleagues.’

“And they’ve got a front row seat to what you do. So yeah, maybe they saw that rough start. But then they saw how hard you tried, how much you sweated to put them in a position to score. And they knew they couldn’t waste all that good work you’d done.

“So don’t look down on yourself, kid,” he smiled. “You may be young, but you’re one of those stars people are going to look up to. Especially your teammates.”

The front doors burst open. A crowd of purple sweatshirts barged in, spotting Alex and making a beeline straight for him. “Alex!” “There you are!” His teammates crowded all around him. Yaya got up on his tip-toes and tousled Alex’s hair. “We were looking all over for you, man!”

“Thanks,” Alex smiled. “I just needed a drink.”

Vil belly-laughed. “You’re not the only one! Shots? Anyone want to do shots?”

The whole team cheered. The bartender laid out the glasses and started pouring.

The stool next to Alex was empty. He wondered briefly if the man was a figment of his imagination. But some cash and a receipt had been left on the counter, by his empty glass. On the line was signed: “Don’t overthink it, kid.”

Iconic Rugby Stadiums of Giovanniland: Part Four
    Posted 04/04/1423
Welcome, visitors, once more to SporTravel! Our site has definitely surged in popularity during this Rugby World Cup, and there have already been calls for us to release our next set of featured rugby stadiums of Giovanniland. We’re therefore glad to announce that everyone’s wishes have been granted! Please enjoy this selection of two more rugby stadiums across our country.

Arena Silvana, Abrentopole, Abrenosto - Capacity: 46,729
This stadium is the home of the most famous and successful rugby team from the Abrenosto region of Giovanniland, Unio Abrenta. This name means Abrentan Union, and their stadium can be translated from Giovannese to Arena of the Forest. In the 1422 edition of the Premier National Rugby League, the Unio Abrenta barely missed entering the playoffs, finishing 3rd of 6 Auran teams whereas their rivals Gorilli Giovanniani and Turma Quorivana advanced, the latter becoming the winner.

Arena Flavio Kastri, Zampessa, Lavanda Prima - Capacity: 33,401
Closing off the group of home stadiums from the 6 Auran teams that played in the 1422 Premier Rugby League, we present the Arena Flavio Kastri, whose home team is Lampi Lavandi (the Lavender Elephants), placed fourth in the Auran Conference. One spotlight is that visitors at the arena can also enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountain shown in the above picture’s background! It is called Monte Mipano IV, celebrating one of the Lavandulan Empire’s most powerful rulers in ancient times. The stadium itself is named after Flavio Kastri, a famous player from this team who went on to play for the national rugby team in the past as well.
And that’s it for Part 4 of our series of showcasing rugby stadiums in Giovanniland! Thank you for reading, and feel free to wish the Giovannilandian national rugby team good luck in its next match against Auran neighbors of Saint Mark in the comments, or post any suggestions for future rugby-themed articles. Saint Mark reacted to Teralyon in 4th Rugby World Cup [rosters, roleplays, results]
    A humbling reminder

In a stunning upset, the rugby team suffered their first loss of the tournament at the hands of the Ostronian rugby team. The match, which took place at the waterfront Nadu Naval Stadium in the city of Nadu, was a closely-fought battle that saw both teams trading blows throughout the game.
Despite the early dominance from our team, the Ostronian team refused to back down and managed to stay within striking distance throughout the match. With only minutes left on the clock, the Ostronian team managed to score a crucial try to take the lead by a score of 22 to 20.
Teralyon fought hard to come back in the final minutes of the match, but were unable to break through the Ostronian defense and secure the win. The loss is a major setback for our previously undefeated team, and will likely shake up the tournament standings as the competition continues.
The match was a nail-biter from start to finish, with both teams trading blows and refusing to give an inch. Despite us taking an early lead, the Ostronian team rallied back with a series of quick scores, eventually taking the lead in the second half and holding on for a hard-fought victory. The high-energy atmosphere at the waterfront Nadu Naval Stadium was electric. With the tournament still ongoing, both teams will have to regroup and refocus in order to continue their quest for victory.
Fans were left disappointed by the result, with many expressing surprise at the team's inability to hold on to their lead. "I can't believe we lost that game," said avid rugby fan, Anto Girdic. "We were up by 10 points at one point, and I thought we had it in the bag. But credit to Ostronia, they played really well and deserved the win."
Other fans were more critical of the team's performance, with some questioning the tactics employed by the coaching staff. "I think we made some questionable decisions in the second half," said longtime supporter, Sofija Dura. "We seemed to sit back and defend our lead instead of continuing to attack, and it cost us in the end."
The loss for Teralyon serves as a reminder that anything can happen in rugby, and that no team can take their success for granted. As the tournament continues, fans around the world will be tuning in to see how the remaining matches unfold, and which team will emerge as the ultimate champion.

    New bullet run record confirmed

In a thrilling display of skill and determination, car enthusiast Milo Rimic has set a new record time for the infamous Teralyon bullet run drive. The notorious run which goes all along the main lands eastern coastal highways and roads starting from the Maric Marina in Maricia, to the beachside resort of Sunca all the way in Velanja.
Rimic, a seasoned driver and racing enthusiast, completed the grueling drive in an astonishing time of just 23 hours 54 minutes and 18 seconds, shattering the previous record by over an hour and 30 minutes and brining it under 24 hours which Rimic said was the main goal.
The Teralyon bullet run drive is widely considered one of the most challenging and treacherous drives in the world, that includes more then just open highways and has several areas of winding roads, steep inclines, and hairpin turns in sections which test even the most experienced drivers, but Rimic, driving a customized sedan which he cleverly disguised to look like slightly like a  police interceptor which would of never been noticed for what it actually was at the speeds he was traveling at was equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and performance-enhancing technologies, a hole suite of police counter measures which Rimic was unwilling to disclose was almost undeterred by the challenge. He set out from Maric Marina at the crack of dawn, pushing himself and his car to the limits as he raced down the coast, navigating treacherous terrain and dodging traffic along the way.

Rimic stated that the key part was the Tarajevo metropolitian area. "I just knew that it all hinged on when I hit Tarajevo, if I did it at a certain time then we could be in and out in about a hour"
As he approached the finish line in Sunca, Rimic was greeted by a crowd of cheering fans and fellow car enthusiasts, who marveled at his incredible feat of driving prowess. In an emotional speech, Rimic thanked his support team and acknowledged the risks involved in attempting such a challenging drive.
"I'm thrilled to have set a new record for the bullet run, but I couldn't have done it without the support the many people that helped me both in preparation and during the run, nevermind the incredible technology that helped me navigate the hole time, I know that driving at such high speeds is risky, but I'm committed to pushing the limits and achieving my goals."
Rimic's record-breaking drive has cemented his status as one of Teralyons most accomplished car enthusiasts, and has likely inspired a new generation of drivers to push themselves to new heights of excellence.

Saint Mark got a reaction from Sekiya in 4th Rugby World Cup [rosters, roleplays, results]
Coach Rahl paced in front of his attentive players. They were seated in the locker room just after practice, going over the game they had lost against the Zoranians. Marcarius Hightower was among them, having returned from the hospital just a few hours before. The x-rays were good. His ankle, which had suffered only a sprain, was wrapped tightly.
"That was a decent match, and we kept it close, but we could have done so much better. Bruno and Baxtor, you are our strongest forwards. Using your strength in scrums and rolling mauls, we should be able to achieve significant territory gain. You should pick and drive until the moment is right to release it to the backs. I know you know this, but you need to keep it in your heads. What did we practice? Exactly this. You were too timid. The couple of times that you did execute well, Michael and Nelson weren't ready. You guys weren't focused. The match against Apexiala went to your heads a bit, I think. That game went in our favor, but our play was sloppy. Luckily that time theirs was sloppier. "There were things we did well, of course, which is part of the reason we were able to keep it close. You organized quickly. Your heads were up and looking at the opposition. You didn't do too badly at controlling the space and it was clear that you enjoyed your tackling."
"You are a talented team. You didn't play too badly, but can do much better. I have confidence that you will play much better. You were just overly excited by our first win. Now we have a loss. That is well enough. It will sober us up a bit and help us to focus. You have the afternoon off. Get some rest, enjoy the sights, and be ready for practice at 7 AM."

Løva River, Fujansk Løvelven, or Løvelv, Kynsk Løvå, Dalimbari Sugoy, westernmost river of Fujai.
It rises from Fallen, the largest lake in Fujai and the Norrstand, and flows for 252 kilometers to the Hringhav, or Blue Sea, which it enters at a point 7 kilometers west of Fjaltring. The Løva River's lower course forms the boundary between Fujai and Dalimbar. The drainage basin is 40,786 square km, about one-eighth of which is in Dalimbar and Cambria. Due to its importance as a shipping route from the Falledalen mines, the entire course of the Løva has been made navigable. It has also been used for logging and is known for its salmon.
A series of islands at the mouth of the Løva have been disputed between Fujai and Dalimbar since 1369, four years after the end of the Second Northern War. The largest of the islands are Selkholm, Krasholm, Lindholm, and Stora Almsten. There have been several border incidents regarding these islands, the most serious of which occurring in 1388, in which six Fujansk sailors were killed and a patrol boat was sunk.

Breaking News: All but one fourth-level official in the United Adaikes Sports Commission sacked
With the news spreading wildfire about the recent allegations of corruption in the Commission and confirmed reports of Sports Commissioner Pouria Barr leaving the country, the Red Palace has issued a press release that they have sacked Barr and all but one deputy commissioner pending the results of the investigation.
National Sports Association (NSA) Affairs Office Head Ezra Moors, while still running NSA Affairs in the country, is currently the Officer-in-Charge of the Commission. Moor's fate is still unclear once the investigations are over.
The Department of Justice also stated that they had created a Task Force to investigate the allegations and that the country's well-known private sports management agency, the Adaikes Sports Group, is involved.
No other comments were given by all agencies mentioned in this breaking news.

Saint Mark reacted to Varanius in 4th Rugby World Cup [rosters, roleplays, results]
Tim had just gotten home from a long day of work at the MoW. Varanius has been in a frenzy after their victory against Rivalfiume. He had been inundated with calls ever since then. It seemed people really were beginning to take a liking to this whole Rugby Cup thing. News of their victory spread like wildfire, and millions of Varanian children sang the praises of star player Joe Schmoe. He sat down on his couch and turned on the television sitting smack dab at the center of his living room. He flipped through the channels. Keeping Up With the Cardashians, The Real Househusbands of Zygotia, the History channel. Wait, did they just say that the painting of Zyg the Many Eyed was made by drug-trafficking aliens? Whatever, it was time for the real business. The MoW was allowed to stream the games through the government's sponsored media channel. The only thing that boosted ratings more than Varanius winning was everyone hate-watching the Giovanniland game. He watched eagerly, carefully following the back and forth of the game. Luckily, he lived alone, so his cheering and booing disturbed no one but his cat, not that she was particularly fond of him anyway after he forgot her dinner last night. Sorry Dodo. His eyes were glued to the screen, and his hope faded as the minutes ticked on. Finally, the game came to a halt. That was that. They had lost to Saranzio. That second, he felt his phone ring. Disheartened but determined, he answered. Jeb Lizarbson sat on the other end.
"Did you see that?" the Prime Minister asked silently.
"Yes," responded Tim. "But don't worry, I pro."
"Shush. Listen to me Tim. We go up against Giovannilandilandiland in a few days. You understand? I went out on a limb announcing this whole Rugby team for you, and you just had our entire nation sit there and watch us get clobbered by some N*rd. If we lose to Giovannilandilandiland, my reelection campaign will be skewered. Fix it."
"Yes, of course Je- I mean, Mr. Lizarbson," he responded. He knew Lizarbson was mad, he almost never used such language about the Nurist people. "Won't happen again."
    "Good."
The call ended, and Tim sighed quite the sigh of relief. After taking a few minutes, he dialed Manuel.
"Hey there! You've reached Manuel Man, the Man! If you're hearing this, I ain't around right now. Tell your mom I said hi though. Toodles sucker?"
    Voicemail. Of course.
"Hi Manuel. It's me, Tim. Lizarbson is pissed. I get that its' probably pretty stressful up there in Dalimbar, but...pull through for me on this one. Bye."
And with that, he called it a night. Maybe he'd even get some sleep tonight, but it felt pretty unlikely right now...

Morning Studies of the Path: Episode 181
Good morning kin and children of the Dalist Path. While we await the struggles of the temporal, and we pray for victory on the rugby pitch, we must attend to the needs of the spiritual through the Path.
The mission of all kin is to walk the Path and to blaze a trail for the Path throughout the lands. There are too many who do not know what even the Path is. They wander aimlessly. They are lost. We must put them on the Path for their salvation.
The Path was laid by our earliest ancestors who came to this land of barbarity and backwardness. We honour and revere our righteous ancestors, those who came before us, in the hopes that they will provide us guidance and blessings in this fleeting moment we call "life". This is why we provide offerings to ancestors at temple, why we pray to the ancestors, why we shout their glory and wisdom.
We ask that you join us in a prayer to the ancestors:
    "Oh, revered ancestors
We come before you with humble hearts,
Honouring your memory and seeking your guidance.
    Through your wisdom and blessings,
May we find our way along the Path,
And may we earn the salvation that you have attained.
    Accept these offerings we bring,
As tokens of our respect and devotion,
And know that we hold your memory dear in our hearts.
Guide us and protect us, ancestors,
And may we always honour your legacy and follow your example."
Thank you. We will now reflect and cleanse our thoughts while listening to the Choir of the Path of Saint Andreisburg.

The TRUTH Behind Dalimbar's RUGBY ZONES (I GOT ARRESTED?) | OutSpoken Episode 76
    Comrade Conrad 701,432 subscribers
    VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
The video begins with Conrad grinning unnervingly into the camera, as every video of his does. Behind him are the streets of Saint Andreisburg.
CONRAD: Hey truth seekers, it's Conrad, and I'm here in Saint Andreisburg, Dalimbar!
Stock B-roll footage of Saint Andreisburg plays for a few seconds over Conrad's opening theme music, then back to Conrad.
CONRAD: As we record this, my native Overthinkers is competing in the Rugby World Cup–held, of all places, in Dalimbar. Now I'm sure many of you were wondering, how the hell did Dalimbar get hosting rights? But, be that as it may, Dalimbar opened its borders to the world to celebrate pride in their national sport.
Conrad had been slowly turning away from the camera, but whipped back to face it directly.
    CONRAD: Or is it???
CONRAD: See, you can't just go anywhere in Dalimbar right now. Foreigners are only allowed in special places called "Rugby Zones", and we have to carry this blue card with us at all times.
He holds his blue card up to the camera.
CONRAD: So this begs an obvious question, right? What do the Dalimbari have to hide? And more importantly, is anyone buying all this PR? Let's talk to some other tourists to see what they think, shall we?
Another stock B-roll transition. You know it's stock footage because it's captured by a much better photographer with a much better camera.
Conrad walks right up to a bystander who is taking a photo of a historic building, ruining their shot.
CONRAD: Hey you! What hostilities have you experienced since setting foot in Dalimbar?
    BYSTANDER (speechless): H-Hostilities? I haven't–
CONRAD: Oh come on, you can talk about it. They can't silence every–
BYSTANDER (stern): I meant it, buddy. I'm just here to study the architecture, and my visit has been just fine. Until you popped up, that is.
CONRAD: (nervous laugh) O-kay, moving on–
He desperately looks around for a different target and locks on a man wearing a United Adaikes jersey.
CONRAD: You there, sir! A moment of your time.
    UA FAN: What is it?
CONRAD: How much do you think the Dalimbari paid in bribes to host this World Cup?
UA FAN: Oh, a lot. I never thought World Rugby would give it to Dalimbar. Do you also believe a peace pact with the AU is included in the hosting contract?
CONRAD (grinning): Good question sir, thank you very much.
The video cuts directly to a different plaza. Conrad walks up to a person sitting on a bench looking at her phone.
CONRAD: And you, ma'am. What is your stance on historic Dalimbari aggression in Polaris?
He shoves the mic in her face.
    LOITERER: …Wha?
CONRAD: Cambria, Nieubasria, Fujai…all these nations had conflict with Dalimbar in the past?
LOITERER: Oh yeah, Fujai is where they come from.
    CONRAD: Huh?
LOITERER: The Dalmibari Projection. That's who we're talking about, right?
    CONRAD: …Nevermind.
Turning around, Conrad encounters a Zoranian. You can tell he is Zoranian purely by his aura.
CONRAD: Sir! What do you think the Dalimbari are hiding behind these so-called "Rugby Zones"?
ZORANIAN: Clearly, the Dalimbari are hiding the fact that they are actually a bunch of mutant otter humanoids with alien technology far beyond our comprehension and the humans we see here are slaves forced to play as a front for their operations.
    CONRAD: I…beg your pardon?
ZORANIAN: I bet Marshal Briand is King Otter too, oooooh I know it is true! They are allied with the chicken people of Saint Mark to destroy the Molemen of Fujai!
Conrad is desperately signaling his cameraperson to cut the video.
ZORANIAN: And don't get me started with the lizard men of VaranI–
The video cuts to the Rapid Train station, where several people are waiting for the next train to Kaisah or Donlas. The camera follows Conrad to a couple wearing parkas and Saint Mark hats, looking anxiously at the departures and arrivals board.
    CONRAD: What's going on here?
The Markians, already exhausted and sweating, are startled and instinctively reach for their blue cards.
MARKIAN GENTLEMAN: We missed our train! We've been trying to get another one for two days. We're tourists from Saint Mark! Our son, Simon, is a Reserve Scrum Half for the Lions!
MARKIAN LADY: We'll finally be able to board this next train. We hear our boys are doing pretty well?
CONRAD (smirking): Fascinating! Do you think this failure of the rail system is a hint of deeper systemic flaws in Dalimbari infrastructure?
The couple are now even more terrified.
MARKIAN GENTLEMAN: No! I'm sure everything is wonderful here!
MARKIAN LADY: Such a lovely country!
Conrad slips away, looking defeated. He mutters something about "Plan B" and types something on his phone before continuing.
Before he can talk to anyone else, he is waylaid by a person in uniform.
MILITSIYA (in a comically bad Dalimbari accent): Sir, I need you to come with me.
Upon closer inspection, while the man looks like Militsiya at a glance, his uniform is twenty years out of date. Not only that, but it is very shoddily made.
    CONRAD: Am I under arrest?
    "MILITSIYA": Just come along quietly.
CONRAD (loudly and dramatically): I will not! You cannot silence me! (The faux-Militsiya puts him in very cheap-looking handcuffs.) The truth will always get out!
Conrad is very gently wrestled to the ground. The "Militsiya" officer then reaches for the camera, pushing it away.
Before the video abruptly ends, an armored vehicle rolls into frame, with armed OMON members inside.
The video ends with a wall of text from "Conrad's editor", claiming that the video was all he recieved and he has not heard anything more from Conrad since, but he will keep viewers posted.

Saint Mark reacted to Teralyon in 4th Rugby World Cup [rosters, roleplays, results]
In a dominant display, the Teralyon Rugby team secured a crucial victory over the Ionian Rugby team in their Rugby World Cup matchup.

The Teralyon team, who had previously won their opening match put on an impressive performance to outplay their opponents and secure a 17-0 win. The team came out strong from the start, putting pressure on the Ionians with their fast-paced attacking play. Their efforts were rewarded early in the game when their star player, Berisa Mirkovic, scored a try in the opening minutes. They continued to dominate throughout the first half, with their strong defense holding off any attempts by the Ionians to get on the scoreboard.
The Ionian team tried to mount a comeback in the second half, but their efforts were met with fierce resistance from Teralyon. The team's defense was once again impenetrable, and they added to their lead with two more tries from Ljupco Puvaca and Mila Tomikj. The Ionian team, despite their best efforts, were unable to break through and were left scoreless at the final whistle.
The Rugby team's victory was a testament to their skill and determination, with their strong teamwork and tactical play proving too much for their opponents. They now have two wins in the Rugby World Cup, putting them in a strong position to progress to the knockout stages. Their dominant display was a testament to their skill and teamwork, and they will be looking to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches.

High Seas Shenanigans almost cause a collision
Captain Drugo Brozic of the Teraylon Corvette, the TNV Zmijsko Koplje, has been placed on leave following an incident that occurred during a naval training exercise in the Mille-Mer sea. The incident involved the almost-collision of the TNV Zmijsko Koplje with a United Adaikes military vessel, while the two vessels were apparently competing to reach a Cambrian Destroyer that they were engaged with during a seek and destroy exercise.
The incident occurred on the morning of March 31st, when the two vessels were in close proximity to each other in the Mille-Mer. According to reports, both vessels were trying to reach the Cambrian Destroyer as quickly as possible, and in their eagerness to complete the exercise, they came dangerously close to colliding with each other.
The incident was immediately reported to superiors, and an investigation was launched to determine the cause of the near-collision. Following the investigation, it was determined that Captain Drugo Brozic of the TNV Zmijsko Koplje was at fault for the incident, and he was subsequently placed on leave pending further disciplinary action. While authorities within the Navy have been tight lipped, it is rumoured that both the Captain of the United Adaikes vessel and Captain Drugo Brozic were both located on the bowsprit of their respected vessels with Captain Drugo Brozic apparently being seen waving his officers sword while yelling "Get me closer! I want to hit them with my sword!"
In a statement released to the press, a spokesperson for the Naval Commission stated that the safety of all personnel involved in training exercises is of the utmost importance, and that any breach of safety protocols will be taken very seriously. The spokesperson also expressed regret for the incident, and reassured the public that measures are being taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
The incident has raised questions about the training procedures and protocols used by military vessels during training exercises, and there have been calls for a review of these procedures in order to ensure the safety of all personnel involved. The military has not yet commented on whether such a review will take place.
The TNV Zmijsko Koplje and the United Adaikes military vessel involved in the incident have both returned to the fleet, and it is unclear at this time whether any further action will be taken against the crew of the United Adaikes vessel.

Saint Mark reacted to Clarkov in 4th Rugby World Cup [rosters, roleplays, results]
Just before the tournament, two sets of fans had gone to Stratosphere Park to submit fan-made OST to the team.
In response to that, HNDRJ decided to showcase them in this post, since they are good enough quality to be given that role. So, this first one was inspired by the local weather phenomenon that Hertfordshire and Jammbo experiences frequently and the term for a building on a farm known as a stable. The second one references the many shrines scattered around Hertfordshire and Jammbo, and their torii gate entrances. The bold indicates the main section of the song.
Here's something else, two young Hertfordian teenagers came up with and sang Deep In Torii.
    Stable Snowstorm - Lyrics
    [Instrumental]
We can still make it, if we act now.
It would be better if we retreated,
before we succumb to further drops.
    (Snowstorm Stable)
The goal posts that closed the field up
somewhere along the way began to im-
    -pale your heart... it hurts.
    It's their fault.
We'll come down to whatever kind of you.
Let's look to that kind of enshrined place.
Don't ever talk with that kind of smile
    to anyone else.
    Continuing on forever
    just like the snow,
Swear to me an eternity of the night parade.
    The stars will shatter
    just like the ice.
If you jump onto the field, accept me.
You cannot measure these feelings by the results alone,
because the summit belongs only to you now.
    [Instrumental]
The future is not yet lost,
even though that was your despair,
why did the fire turn your hope into dread?
    (Snowstorm Stable)
These kind of times, a reality,
I tried to remind the person I spoke with,
from far beyond... I knew it.
    It was only you.
Come look for that kind of me in the stands.
See through towards these kinds of places.
We won't let go with what kind of pressure
    at any point.
    Continuing on forever
    just like the snow,
Swear to me an eternity of the night parade.
    The stars will shatter
    just like the ice.
If you jump onto the field, accept me.
You cannot measure these feelings by the results alone,
because the summit belongs only to you now.
    [Instrumental]
    Scattered across and lying down.
In the sky we gazed up at,
    the shockwaves and periodic dust
are a story of the Star Breaker.
    Grant my wish,
    glowing hypernova.
I tried wading my way across
    a cracking avenue.
So hey, this is not the most I can do for today.
Every match is trivial and fleeting at the best, but
it's so I can stand at the top with you again.
    Continuing on forever
    just like the snow,
Swear to me an eternity of the night parade.
    The stars will shatter
    just like the ice.
If you jump onto the field, accept me.
You'll never measure these feelings by the results alone,
because the summit will belong only to you.

    Deep In Torii - Lyrics
    [Instrumental]
No one can resist the urge to play you.
    Coldness permeating further than starlight.
Our destination is far, staying the course, we strive on through
the torii gate to the world stage.
Let us press on, pursuing the celestial!
If we can keep a hold onto our answer now, I don't mind raising the roof.
So that our Star Breaker don't stray, we keep our echoes reverberating.
The compass points forever into the freezing darkness where, for opponents, there's no escape.
    Even if it's a curse,
    this sensation inside is real,
now let's commence the night parade, Hertfordshire-Jammbo!
If we found anything that forced us down,
the goliath merely makes my spirit more restless.
They say that we can't ever reach, the ascendancy of champions past,
but ever silent is the torii.
Still not enough, with the words that fail to break us!
Now the hypernova will stare deep into the opposite side of the light.
From the freezing darkness, we saw the mystery of this team known as The Youkai.
Our compass pointing, quietly answered, the solution to keep a hold onto.
    [Instrumental]
If we ever lost the answer,
will these spirits of ours turn vengeful?
Although the miko staggers away from course,
the inclination is to return through the gate.
If we can keep a hold onto our answer now, I don't mind raising the roof.
So that our Star Breaker don't stray, we keep our echoes reverberating.
The compass will always point toward the stratosphere, alive or undead, spirit remains.
    Even if it's a curse,
    this sensation inside is real,
now let's commence the night parade, Hertfordshire-Jammbo!

Saint Mark got a reaction from Dalimbar in 4th Rugby World Cup [rosters, roleplays, results]
His Grace, Lord Brock, Duke of Hightower and Elector of Saint Mark was furious. His only son and heir, Viscount Marcarius, had been carried off the field and was on the way to the hospital.
"This is outrageous!" He roared and rose, his large red face ready to pop off his even larger body. That Dvagahi boy deliberately injured my son!"
Prince Marcarius and Archbishop Lumendei, stood from their seats as well and tried to ... if not calm him down, at least control the eruption.
"Dear Duke, this is rugby. Injuries occur all the time. I'm sure that young man feels horrible for having injured your son," the archbishop soothed as he laid a hand on the raging duke's arm.
"Brock, let's go down and see how Marc is faring," responded the Prince, trying to change furor to concern.
The three left Lady Arlene and a handful of attendants and made their way with their security officers to the locker room.

Saint Mark reacted to Zoran in 4th Rugby World Cup [rosters, roleplays, results]
Transcript Priscian: Hello people of Zoran, I am Noya Priscian and with me is a patched up punching bag we like to call Quiyakaso
    Quiyakaso:...now that’s just rude.
Priscian: But can you exactly say it's false with all you have experienced?
    Quiyakaso:...no comment.
Priscian: I thought so. Yesterday’s match we saw our Zoranian team beat Saint Mark 16-7 but Saint Markian Blindside flanker, Marcarius Hightower, received an injury in the final minutes of the ga-
Quiyakaso: He’s fine, if I can survive being hit by a car by three guys from Hertfordshire and Jambo then he is probably ok.
Priscian: Riiiiight, as of right now we don’t know the details of his condition but the atmosphere is tense as Mr. Hightower is the heir to a duke who is among the electors of the Saint Markian government.
Quiyakaso: I bet he never got attacked by otters.
Priscian: Quiyakaso, look, I know you are embarrassed about being taken down by otters but come on, you never let the seagull incident get to you this badly.
Quiyakaso: That is because everything in Dilber is drugged up and deadly! Here…I don’t know but apparently the otters will just attack you in broad daylight!?
Priscian: [sigh] Do you want to talk about it? Maybe you should consider going to therapy.
Quiyakaso: I don’t need a therapist, I need and old shaman and a you-
Priscian: Aaaaaaand you lost all sympathy I had for you. Now coming up, Zoran is going up against its southern neighbor, Giovanniland. Despite recent tensions between the two over the incident involving Giovanniland and Varanius and Giovanniland’s Andolian colony, this match is definitely one you will not want to miss!
Quiyakaso: Yes…please cheer for our team in the finals.
Priscian: Do I need me to call your mother about your mental condition?
Quiyakaso: HOW DO YOU HAVE MAMA’S PHONE NUMBER!?
Priscian:...I don’t but I will get a hold of it if you don’t mentally recover soon.
Quiyakaso:...I am not giving you mama’s phone number!
Priscian: [sigh] We will see you next time on RNN Live. Next up is the weather! Come on, Quiyakaso, you need a break.
Quiyakaso: I am a strong, independent, man who doesn't need no woman to tell me what to do!
Priscian: [pinches the ridge of her nose] I can’t believe I am forced to work with this weirdo. How about we go get some ice cream or something
Quiyakaso:...It’s 10 AM, what ice cream parlor is open at this time?
Priscian: Later then, how about we go to a coffee house?
    Quiyakaso:...Fine, but you’re paying.
Priscian: If it will get you to stop complaining, fine.
