Big Bad Badger Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I was editing a post changing ranks of some troops and it got all weird. When I look at it in the editing area, the post looks fine. But when I hit save it gets freaky. http://www.westpacific.org/forums/index.php?/topic/1705-twpaf-rank-and-insignias/
Darkesia Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Oh dear... That's outside my area of expertise. Once I open the page, I get stuck in an indefinite waiting to load loop. Do you have the graphics saved? It might be easier to delete the page and start over.
Big Bad Badger Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 Yes, I have the graphics! Let me know.
Winnipeg Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Wow, you managed to cause it to loop somehow... I'm trying to figure out why it's bringing up the old data....because you certainly don't have that much data in your post...it's got to be something in the forum's Cache but so far I haven't been able to clear it.
Winnipeg Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Found the issue, you didn't close one of your [ nation ] tags (Servus Domini) and having the extra open tag was causing it to do some pretty neat duplication loops. North Pacific Spy 1
Westwind Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Dateline The West Pacific, NEWSFLASH!!! A time vortex opened up on The West Pacific forums due to "military exercises" at the TWP Armed Forces Headquarters. Forum administration reported some "pretty neat duplication loops" as a result of the supposed "military activities". What exactly was the TWP Armed Forces up to? What new and devious design are they implementing and planning on unleashing upon an unwitting NationStates? Stay tuned! Darkesia and North Pacific Spy 2
