  1. President Nišan is visiting Jalno and Ranlat islands
    September 26, 1422

As President Nišan's term ends soon, he has decided to visit Ranlat and Jalno islands as one of his last acts. He arrived in the capital of Jalno, Boit yesterday evening.

"The great treasures of this island must be guarded," he said today on a conference in Boit. He is going have a walk in the autonomous province's forests tomorrow with the Governor of Jalno, Pen Anick.

He will leave on Thursday for Ranlat, where he will stay for another five days, before flying back to Parducze.

The islands were once independent nations, before being annexed by Kurabis in the second half of 1200s. Since becoming colonies, they had been granted more autonomy and freedom, eventually becoming autonomous provinces. Ranlatanese, is spoken on the islands and is the official language in both of territories, along Kurabi.

  2. Kurabi railways will see new trains soon

    August 9, 1422

Passengers in the eastern parts of the country can soon ride new trains. The new Vlak units from the Radimam-based Jezdii, which can hold up to 200 passengers, will be sent out mainly in the eastern states, like Zlendštaat, Nordštaat, and Dinštaat. All 60 train units will be gradually delivered to the end of the month and dispatched shortly after.

"The rolling stock in these states is getting old. There are some trains on the regional network, which have been driving since the 80s. This is slowly becoming more and more unacceptable for the passenger in terms of comfort and safety. The new trains offer a much better experience, also providing WiFi onboard," said Anton Nižuk, spokesman for Kurabe Lokšapoliže, the state railway company.

New legislation will bring back "ž"

    March 9, 1420
    Written by Jakåb Våssr

The new legislation will bring back "ž" to the Kurabi language. It was removed long time ago from the alphabet with other letters, such as "č" and "š", since westerners thought "it was too complicated".The new legislation was created due to Kurabisians thinking the "zh" combo used until today looked strange.
While the "ž" letter is getting back, Kurabisians are talking about also bringing back "č" and "š". The passing of this legislation may be postponed if enough Kurabisians will support this.

    March 4, 1420

    Written by Tom Durand

Kurabis recently joined the Nieubasric "Multinational Working Group Regarding Passport Security and Travel Document Standards (or the MWG)" programme.
Along with Tara and Cambray, Reçueçn, The Holy Principaly of Saint Mark and others, the group is targeting the growing incidences of cross-border crime.
"If the new standardisation will come in force, the immigration procces at airports may need to be renewed. That can cost up to 2,5 million crowns (approximately 162 100 USD)," says Foreign Affairs Minister Daria Kulakov.
According to a survey, 73% Kurabisians say they are fine with renewing their passport for a newer one according to the standards, while 15% say it is time-wasting or they do not have time for it.
