God, high school history was all fake news!

My father is a professor and as a child, he used to let me doodle on the back of student's exams. They often were graced with the brilliant art created by yours truly at age 5-10.

The media insanity is bizarre.
There are advantages to quarantines and isolation among schools and universities though. In 1665, the University of Cambridge temporarily closed due to the Bubonic plague. Isaac Newton had to work from home, and he used this time to develop Calculus and the Theory of Gravity.

In 2005, then Equilism President and Admin Nooterland issued a decree to ensure all forum members maintained a proper avatar, rather than leaving the default icon on their account.  All who failed to comply were enriched with a new avatar created by Noot's 2 year old daughter.
It was an effective decree.

This creativity reminds me of a story from long ago in NS.
