But then again, why not?

Farewell, boss. It was a pleasure working under you.

... and the fourth candidate(the fierce Trump supporter) left, and therefore the incumbents will serve another term.
By the way, it seems like the folks from Caesars Legion invaded only to forcefully accept the in-game embassy request they sent few days prior to the invasion - nothing more, nothing less.

Except you ate totally wrong. The voice is open. There is a planning forum used for the DAs to do planning and paperwork which is locked, but the voice is open. Check yout facts first.
What did we eat wrong? Did we not check the list for unholy things? Did we steal Dark's chocolate?
Haha, a joke to freshen things up.
Anyway, the voice WAS open. There WAS a planning forum for DAs to do planning, before they all got automatically fired. The Voice of the West Pacific Union WAS open. Not anymore - now it's just a blasted ruin full of clustered paperwork and people who didn't do their jobs..... for now.

Yep.
So uh... how do you pronounce 'Nachrichten' again?
-
I'm detecting some sort of a power struggle between the old guards and the new... as a relatively new player, may I request that it stop, please?
By the way, I agree with BBD on the newspaper's name; after a near-endless debate with Hari, I still haven't figured out how to pronounce 'Nachrichten'.
Note to self: Do not anger Welshmen. Especially old ones.

Hmm, I thought long and hard about this, and as such I find no reason why I should refrain from doing this.
I, Malviet, hereby stand for the position of Deputy Advocate for Foreign Affairs of The West Pacific.
With all due respect to my fellow candidates, I find myself qualified for the office; my job at my school's government(which I am a member) involves contact with other schools. Also, as a real-life national of a country that was (technically) in a state of war for the past 65 years, I understand the relation between diplomacy and the survival of a nation(or in this case, region).
Please, don't just consider my application. Rather, accept it. I am ready to serve The West Pacific.
Sincerely yours,
Malviet.

I am interested in the FADA job(if Resu is okay with that), but both Fujai and Dark could do a much better job than the dull fat half-noob nobody that is myself.
I am also interested in Intelligence and Communications; mind if you lay out the jobs of these departments PD?
Edit: I'm standing for the office of FA DA.

Just watch out for Darkesia, she kills for chocolate.

Um... okay. As stated in the Voice's absence/inactivity thread, Hariko(incumbent DA Internal Affairs) won't be active for a week or so. Also Russo has confirmed that Recuecn(incumbent DA Foreign Affairs) is busy due to some RL issues. May I suggest that we postpone the renewal of these two departments for the time being, in respect for two remarkable people who are both regional Guardians and respectable members of TWP society?
Oh, and by the way what will be the job of the Intelligence and Communications DAs?
-
[Edit: Redacted.]

Hmm... if you would be kind enough to provide the list of DA positions(the only ones I am aware of are Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Military.), it would be much appreciated.
Oh, and welcome back!

May I request I use slot 16.11 as my national capital, Ravenstone?

Welcome to TWP!

How did you get to know hangul, by the way? It isn't common outside Korea as far as I know.
-
English: Malviet uses two official languages: English and Korean, while French, German, and Japanese are also sometimes used.
Korean is used with Hangul and Hanja(traditional Chinese characters with Korean pronunciations), while Japanese is used with Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji(Chinese characters used in Japan), and English, French, and German with their respective alphabets.
Note to self: So many people around here know hangul, and yet your Korean exam scores this semester sucked, mate. You should be ashamed.

... and I'm back(well, kinda).

A rather late greetings, and welcome to TWP!

I probably won't be able to visit the forums for a while. My grandfather's health is failing, and there are some other RL issues I have to look into. For the same reasons, I've sent Recuecn my resignation letter for one of my two ambassadorial posts, NationStates.

The off-site government(regardless of what form it takes) is under the jurisdiction of the Legislative RP Minister, which is in turn appointed by the delegate.
Is it just me, or is TWP becoming more and more NPO-ified?
