  1. Hariko, professional brown noser. XD *likes own post for comedic effect*
  2. Sobehido turned around and recognised the man behind them immediately. “Annyeong, Chul Gi-ssi! How are you?”
  3. Hola, me llamo Hari. What do you want to start with? Basic conversations? Or do we need to go back to square one?
  4. “Monsieur Rougemont, I hope I have not offended you with this offer.” “Seutipan! Idobssugi!” Sobehido said. “Jje, jje! I'm sorry, monsieurs, I must go now. If you would like to accept the offer, we'll be at our airplane as we prepare to leave.” The Harikenes walked away briskly, as the pilot of the plane was quite impatient. Seutipan wondered if the Reçuecians really knew of the gravity of situation...
  5. Elegarth was tossing around the idea of a forum thread where he could help improve the skills of TWP's Spanish students. He intended to do it a while ago, but the real life that we all love so much forced him to put it off until later when he wasn't as busy...(#BanIRL). Because of that, I figured I might as well start it for him and do my best to help people until he can join the thread. So, introduce yourselves! Oh, and enabling a Spanish keyboard on your computer or phone would be a good idea, trust me, I did it, and I have all of this to type with: Currently, I'm in the class Spanish III IV, although I have to say I need improvement with conversations and informal language; my class in school is more test oriented than the classes I hear they have in Europe. Tengo dieciséis diecisiete años, soy estadounidense, y inglés es mi idioma principal. ¿Y ustedes?
  6. Gah, not those tattoos. *squeamish shudder*
  7. I do not have the pain threshold to do anything remotely similar in terms of pain. +1 Elegarth. I heard tattoo ink uses graphite, right? Reminds me of when someone accidentally stabbed me with a pencil...and the dot...is still there...after four years. Damn it.
  8. I guess not. I don't think I have enough experience yet.
  9. Hey, hey, we can all voice our opinions without s*** flinging, okay? Please.
  10. Teukero Seutipan was quietly checking his phone under the table as the Presiding Officer read off the votes, including the one given by the nervous El Sock representative. Seutipan looked up for a second to look at him, and saw him clutching a stack of papers to his chest before looking back down at his phone. “Sirs? I would like to apply for asylum in Reçueçn,” the nervous man said. Seutipan looked up and to his right, where M. Rougemont was going through papers, looking for one to give to Koury. After locating such a paper, Rougemont said, “Here, Mr. Koury. Granted. You already have asylum here on Administration Island, you realize. I suppose you can't live off the whiskey in the embassy cupboards forever. You can catch the flight back home with me.” Seutipan turned to the Harikene representative to his left, Sobehido. “Sorgyureo seongnapwaü sadgo, ressosuënmiji,” Sobehido said dryly. Seutipan nodded. I'm not the only one who thinks this is a bad idea, he thought. —:ㅁ:— As the conference room emptied out afterwards, he ran out to catch up to the Reçu, Rougemont, but the Reçuecians were too far down the hall. “Monsieur Rougemont! Monsieur! Please, do wait! I would like to talk to you!” he shouted. “Quiet, this is a formal occasion,” Sobehido chided. “I know, but this is important, Jjeremi. Monsieur Rougemont!” The Reçu turned around, confused. “Yes, Mr. Teukero?” Seutipan ran to Rougemont, “My apologies, M. Rougemont, but I wanted to talk to you about the asylum seeker from El Sock; M. Rougemont, I could not help but overhear that you were going to fly back to Reçueçn with Mr. Koury.” “Yes?” “Well, you are most likely aware that El Sock is not a...er...amiable country, yes?” “Go on...” “Seeing that the Els Socks will not take kindly to Reçueçn adopting one of their citizens, I thought that it would be sage for Mr. Koury to fly with us to Harikosa, and for us to drop him off at the Reçuecian embassy there. I fear for your safety on your way back to Reçueçn, and think that having him on a separate flight would be prudent. That and having Koury on a Harikene plane would make you less of a target for their...response...to Koury seeking asylum. You agree, yes?”
  11. I'm sorry...he...um...well, anyway, welcome to The West Pacific, enjoy your stay with us.
  12. The Unitary Republic of Hariko votes in favour of the ratification of the Charter of the Union of the West Pacific.
  13. Oh, get over yourself. You still scored farther left than me. Which was a surprise for me, even though it really shouldn't. *looks at Protectorate National*
  14. Your result for The Political Objectives Test ... Progressive You scored 79 Equality, 57 Liberty, and 36 Stability! Your commitment to both liberty and equality makes you a blend of the Liberal and the Socialist. For you liberty and equality are two parts of the same condition. Everyone has to be free to pursue their own way-of-life but in order for that to happen everyone must start with a similar basic standard of living. You value liberty particularly in cultural and personal life. You also value government intervention to promote equity in economic life while still supporting private enterprise. If this is too bland for you then try the Radical on for size. YOUR ANALYSIS (Vertical line = Average)You scored 79% on Equality, higher than You scored 57% on Liberty, higher than You scored 36% on Stability, higher than 74% of your peers. 28% of your peers. 31% of your peers.
  15. Is this supposed to be some sort of distraction from the conversation or something? Please, save the kittens and gifs and emoticons everywhere for the Clubhouse. We need to get this done within a reasonable window of time. We haven't been able to resolve this whole Prime Minister issue for the last two or three weeks. This is one of those times to be serious.
  16. I don't care what they're doing outside TWP so long as they are genuinely loyal to TWP.
