  1. Once again our esteemed former Delegate is thinking outside the accepted norms. I'm not going to say whether or not I support this idea, but Punk's thinking is a good example of how I believe we need to proceed.
  2. I'll have to wait until it's out on DVD. Mrs BBD tends to fall asleep in cinemas and I don't like going by myself. Ho, hum.
  3. I think it was Chainik Hocker; used to have Chief Wiggum from The Simpsons as his avatar.
  4. Now all we need is Biyah and we've got the set.
  5. Old age mate. Happens to the best of us.*ducks and runs* Edit: Damn didn't see Punk's post till after I posted.
  6. I just spat coffee out of my nose when I read that I was laughing so much.
  7. Now you know cynicism is my forte.
  8. Took me a while, but yeah. I never realised until now it was that git F&P that kicked it all off. Self-righteous little twerp.
  9. What a complete load of llama poo. Vlagh has been a member of TWP for 6 or 7 years at least. He was a member of the Senate under one constitution and has been appointed to a number of positions under various Delegates since. The only one waltzing in as it were is you.
  10. "My dog ate my homework".Elegarth - I like Option 3. Gives the community a chance to move forward in something constructive.
  11. Nope. If they can't be arsed to get here in the time scale of the election, then tough.Damn, ninja'd by Vlagh.
  12. Cormac, I actually have got a lot of time for you. I admire your passion for things, I think you've done a really good job with Miniluv Messenger and you've written some shit-hot resolutions in the WA. I think sometimes that your passion blinkers you to the ways and cultures of others, much the same way that I think the NPO is blinkered. That said I'm happy to welcome you back because I think you have talents this region could use.
  13. One thought Arch; instead of an elected Speaker, why not rotate it through the members? It was something we tried in the old Town Council - gave everyone a chance at managing the Council and gaining experience in a senior post. It's a good document, nicely put together. Con-Con IV anyone?
  14. He has sown the wind and is now reaping the whirlwind. Immature to point out faults with someone who is aspiring to high office in the region? I think we can live with your disappointment.
  15. This is the guy who tg'd me the other day asking my opinion of Elegarth. At the time I didn't realise this election was going on, not having been here much recently. Suffice it to say I politely told him to mind his own business, but now I wonder if he was hoping I would say something he could use against Elegarth. Combining this with his recent behaviour convinced me that I'd resigned from the HGA too early and have now applied to rejoin. So Llamas, here is the opinion you wanted. I quite like Elegarth and find him a mature and thoughtful person, much better suited to the role of P.M. than you are. Not quite the opinion you were hoping for I suspect.
  16. Rejoining s'il vous plait. There are some arses needing kicking. Bhang Bhang Duc
  17. Not impressed Llamas, not impressed at all. I have to agree with Vlagh: you appear to have no idea of how our system works.
  18. Belated greetings DYP. An obsession with sheep? You're not Welsh are you?
