Welsh by birth nationality, NZ by adoption (lived there over 15 years).
Ethnicity - Welsh, but with mostly Irish and a little bit of English in the background.

Glenda says you do. And dribble on your pillow.I just want to know - do I snore?

That badge is excellent.

Edit: I've "relaxed" alot of the form and the questions, omitted quite a few. I wanted something different last night than I do tonight, this time it is alot more friendly
There was and continues to be a need to be rude as it seems to be the only way to get through to you. This is not an appropriate place for your project. Take it somewhere else and do not use TWP for, as Mayor Tweedy so eloquently put it, cold calling.
We already have a community project here - it's called The West Pacific.

"only those deemed fit" - deemed by who? You? Better get that ego checked boy, it's running a bit rampant.
-
How about "No". And may four winds blow you somewhere.

Regardless of form, the offsite has never had a direct say in the position of the Delegate and I will oppose any change to this. The Delegacy should not be subject to the offsite government.
Not true. Before Eli ripped up that particular rule book Delegates were elected by the legislature, whatever form that took. Totally agree with your last sentence though and I would not like a return to the "old rules".

Aye and there's the rub. As Dark said we're lazy and I don't mean that in a pejorative sense. We like laissez-faire and really only get off our backsides when something really, really annoys us. Our last rogue Delegate being a case in point. My main concern at this time is: how is changing the way the forum government is run going to increase forum activity?

As we discussed via tg I'll do a TWP version of Desert Island Discs.
My first guest will be ... me!

Can someone lock this sub-forum please? Better still burn it to the ground and then scatter salt on the ashes!

Ah Kaboomlandia, seen you often around the GA and SC and occasionally have given you a hard time, though not as hard as a certain Mr Pearson.
Anyway, you are more than welcome to TWP.

Wow, wonderful flags Mr Mayor.

I agree with Dark, we're very thankful for your calm presence here while things have been a bit rocky.

Well done BBB. Congratulations.

On site diplomacy as I have said elsewhere is in the realm of the Delegate. The Foreign Affairs ministry has generally been one of administration, setting up embassies in forum, organising Ambassadors making sure they are active and posting updates when available in our embassies in other regions.
As far as I remember the Delegate leads in Foreign Affairs.
-
Actually I agree with your comments about Foreign Affairs. The on site running of that has always been (if I remember correctly) the Delegate's bailiwick.
The forum role has been one of organising Ambassadors to our various friends, making sure they post updates and running the in forum embassies, not of dictating policy.

Glad you're back Eli.

What would be your guess of the number of star systems in the Milky Way Galaxy?
It's generally estimated at 400 billion.

I think it's time to move on. I appreciate Mal starting this thread, but I believe we should look at what we've done already and say that's enough, no need to keep picking the scab.

What is your national airline?

Lemming Airlines. Founded by my grandad - he booked a flight for Glenn Miller. Dad took over the business and sold flights to Buddy Holly and Jim Reeves.
I sold the business, but not before I booked John Denver on a flight.
