Well, at least you're honest. I'd like to broadcast this to the world. TWP Guardians are old, grumpy, and some say lazy. We want a good coup attempt if not to show the rest of the GCR jokers how to defeat it.

Who is the best NationStates player? I have a survey running and you can participate by clicking here The survey will last until the end of the month. I have about 20 responses thus far ad would love to get to around 50. Here is my original post on the NS forums I am looking for 10 names. 10 Names of people who you believe are the best Gameplayers right now. Here are the rules: You can vote as many times as you like. Caveat - when you submit the names on your list you must include a link to your nation. That nation must have a population of 500 million. Minimum. You also must include your home region. You do not need to be in that region at the time, but must include the name of the region you consider home. The reason for inclusion of the home region is that I would like to tally how many votes come from where. Today is July 9th. I'm going to keep this open until the end of the month. Part of this is a test, I'd like to see if there's interest in such surveys for one and two, I hope that it is simple enough that many people will participate. Make no mistake, this is a popularity contest and so has not statistical relevance. If this is successful, I plan to do it again in 2014. If it's not, well it's not. Greetings TWPers. We're going to take a new turn at foreign relations. As a region our updates have been sporadic and manning our embassies has been equally sporadic. Well, that is about to change. As of now, I am placing an emphasis on GCRs and our allies for our embassy focus. We need to understand how these cultures work and get to know them. Second we need to post our updates. On this front, we can post these everywhere, but one place we need to do this more is on the NS forums. As an ambassador you will have a primary region but then also other regions in which to post the updates. I'd like to get some volunteers for the monthly update as well. The goal is to produce an update by the fourth Saturday of the month.

She volunteered a week or so ago...and I just was too lazy to make this post to make it official.

Darkesia is now our Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister.

I'd also like to announce Darkesia as the FA Deputy.

A rough cut at a differently focused TG. I think we want to cater to new nations, seasoned players with nations formed in TWP are just creating their puppets and moving on. Noobies are the people we need to recruit, imo.

The "please be aware" section needs to go. That does nothing to encourage someone to join, especially a noobie who may not know what an NS Nazi is, what "RMB" stands for, or care about the fictional (don't start, TAO) marsupial war. This TG doesn't compel me to join the forums. I'm going to try to work on a different TG. I've never been the greatest recruiter but that was do to not having time to send TG's. My hit ratio wasn't bad, and as del of the region I had the most feeder endos for a long stretch of time. My endotarting was really effective. Usually no more than 3 sentences. Not saying this is a bad TG, but it's not getting folks to come to the boards and I think we should revisit the content.

Personally I feel this script is a bit too long. I think we want to get people on the boards and then once here can make the board a place that easy-to-use from a navigation/getting involved standpoint. While I believe that the TG script makes great points, i don't have confidence in the attention span of most players since they're likely getting 8-10 other similar TGs
