Saint Mark reacted to Larxia in Rugby World Cup V [rosters, roleplays, results]
Larxia 18 - 0 Hertfordia
In a stunning show of strength and strategy, the Larxian National Rugby Team opened their Rugby World Cup campaign with an impressive 18-0 victory over Hertfordia. The match saw Larxia dominate from the first whistle to the final play, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting tournament for the team and its supporters.
First Half:
From the onset, Larxia asserted their dominance on the field. Their forwards showcased immense physicality, winning crucial scrums and lineouts that laid the groundwork for their attacking plays. The first points of the match came from a well-executed penalty kick by the fly-half Henrique Castro, putting Larxia on the scoreboard with a 3-0 lead.
Larxia's backline, led by the inside center Aarón Sánchez and outside center Nathanial Bishop, consistently breached Hertfordia's defensive lines. A brilliantly coordinated move saw Bishop break through to score the first try of the match, extending the lead to 8-0 after a successful conversion by Castro.
Second Half:
The second half continued in a similar fashion, with Larxia maintaining the pressure and control. Scrum-half Miguel Oliveira orchestrated the plays with precision, while number 8 Lucas Thatcher was relentless in both attack and defense. Hertfordia struggled to gain any foothold in the game, as Larxia's defensive line, led by fullback Aiden Redwood and blind-side flanker Felix Winterbourne, stood firm.
Another penalty kick from Castro, followed by a superb try from right wing Gabriel Lockhart, sealed the victory. Lockhart's try came after a swift counterattack that left the Hertfordian defense scrambling. With the final conversion by Castro, Larxia's lead was cemented at 18-0.
Pre-Match Analysis:
As Larxia prepares for their next group stage match against Rivalfiume, the team will need to maintain their high level of performance.
Larxia's backline, particularly the centers Sánchez and Bishop, will need to be on top form to break through Rivalfiume's lines. Additionally, the game management skills of Oliveira will be crucial in controlling the pace of the match.
Larxia's comprehensive victory over Hertfordia sets a positive tone for the World Cup journey, but the upcoming clashes will require an even more focused and strategic approach to secure qualification.

The Anglian language, used by the Hertfordians - who are the result of ethnic mixing between the original Anglians and the Hertmerians who originally inhabited the land of ice and snow before the former arrived during a period between 90BF and 51BF - is generally used in the Shavian script. Despite that, logos tend to employ the Common script. This may be due to the Anglian language being more than slightly similar to Common itself which is believed to have originated in Saint Mark. It is unknown whether the Anglians or current day Hertfordians have any links to the Markans in either language or any other measure.

The Dashing Couple

The happy couple at last year's engagement party
Hugo Dasher, the Lions Left-Wing-On-Leave and former Most Eligible Bachelor, watched from the stands today as his teammates scored big against the hapless Einherfell team. Accompanied by his fiance, Emily Clement-Bosworth, daughter of industrialist, Sir Aston Clement, and Lady Phyllis Clement-Bosworth, he was seen cheering and embracing his future bride after the last score. While it is reported that it was his decision to take this season off so as not to be distracted by the wedding plans, one wonders if part of him wouldn't rather have been on the pitch instead of his replacement, Celerio Blitzen.
And what a replacement Blitzen has been! His speed and agility surpass Dasher at his best and were a key component of today's win by The Saint Mark Lions. When (if?) Dasher returns to the Lions next year, will his old position still be available?

Saint Mark reacted to Federation of Inner Ryxtylopia in Rugby World Cup V [rosters, roleplays, results]
Ryxtylopia in the Group Stage; The matchups.
A SPECIAL BROADCAST BY TVNC SPORTS
[Railo]: We're going? Alright, Good afternoon everybody, you are currently watching Televiza Natxinal di Cuiltura, im your presentor for today Tivan Railo, and while id usually be joined by some coworkers to discuss the state of rugby in ryxtylopia and the world today i find myself alone in this space, since our schedule for those types of broadcast hasn't started yet. Rather, this is a one-time special broadcast by TVNC.
And you may wonder, why alone? Well its beacause we're going to take a brief look into Ryxtylopia's opponents for the group stage of the 5th edition of the Rugby World Cup, being hosted all the way down in Andolia, in Overthinkers to be precise. Our boys arrived there a few days ago, and now they are looking forwards to their first, and probably hardest group stage match, against a familiar opponent, so its time to get the show on the road and see the rivals we'll be facing and how they compare to our team, starting with...
The screen transitions into a small overview of each opposing team from now on.
ZORAN!
The Sun Hawks of Zoran are a slightly familiar opponent for Ryxtylopia, both teams met in the quarterfinals of the last RWC, where the zoranians; at the time the reigning champions lost to the Pirates on their debut in RWC4, its been a while since that day in Dalimbar, and so far its been the only ocation where Zoran and Ryxtylopia met in a RWC match, with the Pirates taking the victory 31 to 25 points.
The zoranians have already started their campaign in this edition of the tournament, despite being an experienced team, they have started on the wrong foot loosing to Noveauterra 6-22, their playstyle favoring attacking in that match cost them against an inexperienced but solid noveauterran defense, which absorbed the zoranian attack and was able to take the chances they had to counter-attack, resulting in the debutants getting their first victory against a previous RWC champion.
Maybe it was overconfidence that doomed the zoranians, but that's something they probably wont suffer from against Ryxtylopia! As our team is a primarily young team with experience from a previous RWC and a lot of athletically capable players, what to expect for a match?
We could probably witness the zoranians playing more cautiously trying to get the Pirates to overextend themselves on the field, or trying to lure the pirates out, we can probably also expect a LOT of passing in this match, as for chances it will be either a scorefest for both sides, with either side being able to gain an advantage, or it will be a slog throught the field, with frequent possetion changes and few chances. After the loss against Noveauterra the zoranians may play more defensivley than usual, but they still preffer to go on the attack, whilst for this year, Tivarra has changed the tactics as he stated before he intends to play more agressivley.
This is a match we'll be transmitting tomorrow! So hopefully you all get your snacks and enjoy what promises to be a very intense match.
SAINT MARK!
The Lions of Saint Mark are a respected, posh team in Aura, Saint Mark being the largest and most populous nation in the continent - its no surprise they are able to produce talent, maybe not the best talent in comparison to some other teams but they have plenty of it, meaning they have a lot of options when it comes to players and a lot of experience to consult. The Pirate and the Lion have never dueled in the RWC, as during Ryxtylopia's debut, Saint Mark got knocked out in the round of 16, never meeting Ryxtylopia in the groups either.
But they have started on the right foot unlike the zoranians, the Markans have won their fist game in not an astonishing but a comfortable fashion against the wavering Einherfell team, which as of now is the worst ranked team in the world, the Lions glided elegantly to victory with the score being 10-0, their favored style of play seems to lean a bit of the defensive edge, maybe leaning towards possetion, but a still balanced style of play as they can attack when you need them to, and they can put up a if not "magnificent" a decent defense against any opponent.
When the Lions encounter the pirates we could expect a slower match than with the zoranians, as they'll probably hold back for the first minutes, playing cautiously, whilst our team might make go for drop-goals if scoring a try proves too hard, both teams have a balanced style of play, so its unlikley we'll see risky plays from either, or any team leaning overly towards attacking or defending.
The date for when we'll transmit this match is TBD, so stay tuned on TVNC for more info.
PEOUROUIN!
Making their way all the way from Nur to take part in the tournament is the Peorouin National Team, which sadly for me don't seem to have earned any nicknames yet, like Ryxtylopia they debuted in RWC4 and got 4th in their group, only to be bombed into the ground by the zoranians in the round of 16, Peourouin is a team with slow but steady growth and shouldn't be underestimated. A team which Ryxtylopia hasn't played against in a RWC yet.
They've started the tournament off with a win, 17-7 over Arifiyyah, and their team has shown to be agressive, which could be one of their greatest weaknesses against the stronger teams in the group, since playing agressive is a high-risk style of play with a lot of potential chances to score but also a lot of potential chances to concede, it will all be down to how their defense is and how much possetion they can retain, as they could very easily pressure their opponents continously given enough possetion and physicial ability.
As i said previously being over-agressive might be a weakness, if their tactics do not change, we could expect a game between them and the Pirates being a lot of chances from their team being wasted with a few scored, whilst their defense may struggle against a barrage of pirate counter attacks, depends on how much possetion they're able to keep. Considering their players are still relativley young, and they're another fellow ex-debutant from RWC4 this match will be very interesting to watch.
ARIFIYYAH!
The Mighty Orangutan from Arifiyyah a nation known more for football than rugby, having several succesful participations in the soccer tournament, but not being able to replicate that success in rugby, since in Dalimbar they came in dead last in their group, which they did share with the pirates, with the result favoring the nation north of Bilyad as Ryxtylopia won that game 14-0.
They haven't gotten to a good start loosing 7-17 to Peourouin but they seem to be in a process of restructuring to improve their rugby team and perhaps put up a fight for one of the 4 spots to the round of 16. Their team plays semi-agressivley, apparently preffering to be on the offense, very similarly to Zoran and less like Peourouin.
In a game against the Pirates, we could expect them to try to pressure Ryxtylopia with a lot of passing, and moves forward, but this game will be hard for them, and currently they're not in line to make it out of the group, they do have a lot of players with potential that probably hasn't been tapped yet, and if Ryxtylopia can retain possetion and conduct counterattacks, Arifiyyah could be in some serious trouble once they face the Pirates, but like i said its a team that with the necessary reforms could become a decent team in the RWC.
EINHERFELL!
Another team without a nickname, also apparently without organization, either that or something else that's causing the team from Einherfell to have a terrible time in recent RWC's, they finished last in their group in Dalimbar, meaning Einherfell and Ryxtylopia have not had any games in a RWC as previously they haven't shared groups and Einherfell haven't advanced to a knockout round in the last RWC.
Their start to this RWC also leaves much to be desired by their fans loosing 0-10 to Saint Mark, and their team doesn't seem to have any coherent playstyle, they variate a lot between games, so its very hard to know their preffered playstyles.
This may be the least interesting of the matches to play and its hard to know what to expect in a game, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the pirates win with a very favorable score, specifically as Einherfell doesn't seem to be a team that likes to pressure their opponents nor defend too much.
NOUVEAUTERRA!
A team making their debut in this RWC: The Nouveauterran National Team seems to be a team with a lot of potential, since this is their debut they haven't faced Ryxtylopia yet, but they're already looking like a solid team, with one particularity: a lot of their squad is composed of part-time rugby players, meaning this could be a factor later on to determine their performance.
They achieved victory over the zoranians 22-6, a stunning result that has sent shockwaves through the rugby world and has indicated that very much like in the last edition of the RWC debutants will play an important role, both in the groups and later on. Their playstyle is semi-defensive, and they have proven to be able to carry out effectivley.
Facing the Pirates, a less agressive team than the zoranians, the Nouveauterran team may have some issues when it comes to pushing, and attempting to score, being forced to be more agressive, that could be their undoing if they're not careful, but considering this is their first RWC their team seems to be playing it safe, in a game we could either expect few chances to score from either team, a tie, or Ryxtylopia winning with a good score in favor.
The screen transitions back to Railo in the studio.
[Railo]: And that will mark the end of this special broadcast by TVNC! As we just went through we have been able to see the strenghts of each team and how possible games with Ryxtylopia could go, a few teams may give us trouble but as of now the Pirates are one of the auran favorites to win the tournament due to the recent streak from RWC4.
We hope you enjoyed this transmission, don't forget to tune in tomorrow to be able to watch RYXTYLOPIA VS ZORAN! Live from Overthinkers! Only with the best signal here in TVNC, i thank you for your time and i hope all our viewers have a wonderful day, thank you.
The camera zooms out from the studio, as the transmission quickly fades to ads for a betting site advertising Ryxtylopia vs Zoran.

This House That Held A Universe
by Kristiina Raadik
This house that held a universe – now echoes sigh alone –
Where laughter bloomed, a chilling wind now makes a mournful moan.
The chairs that cradled company, stand stark, with vacant eyes,
And memories, specters pale, through drafty hallways rise.
I walk a stranger in this room, where once I danced with glee,
Pale reflection in a looking glass, a face I scarcely see.
The Love that filled this hallowed space, a phantom, cold and thin,
Like frost upon a windowpane, where warmth once held within.
Do they who left, still hold me dear, in whispers, soft and low?
Or am I but a faded dream, the one they used to know?
Perhaps their hearts hold other suns, and mine, a dying star,
Lost in the vast, indifferent dark, unseen, however far.
Is even memory a curse, this constant, gnawing ache?
Of fireside tales and gentle hands, a love I cannot take
With me, into this chilling night, where shadows twist and turn,
And whispers mock, "Does anyone still love what you've become?"
Can embers, buried deep within, be coaxed to life anew?
Can love, once lost, rise from the ash, bathed in a gentle dew?
Or am I doomed to wander here, a ghost in shades of gray,
Forever lost within this house, where love has gone away?
A Jury In The Corner Hangs
by Kristiina Raadik
A jury in the corner hangs, of silken thread and gleam,
Eight watchful eyes, a silver stare, upon my being beam.
No gavel falls, no verdict rings, yet dread begins to creep,
As though this silent, splindly judge, my very soul doth keep.
It spins its web of woven thought, where conscience hangs on high,
And each slow turn, a pondering, on virtues left to die.
Did honesty hold fast and true, within this fragile breast?
Or did deceit, a sly serpent, find welcome as its guest?
Compassion's thread, is it worn thin, by trials yet unseen?
Or woven strong, a sheltering cloak, where kindness intervenes?
The verdict hangs, unspoken still, a weight upon my mind,
For terror grows with every tick, the clock of judgment kind.
Perhaps it seeks a hidden flaw, a chink in virtue's wall,
A whispered sin, a shadowed thought, for which I soon shall fall.
But oh, the silence amplifies, the dread that fills the air,
Awaiting pronouncement, swift or slow, to find me wanting there.
I long for accusation's sting, for anger, hot and bright,
Than this unending, silent stare, that chills me through the night.
For is there not more solace found, in fury's righteous flame,
Than waiting for a verdict hushed, and bearing endless shame?

This significant artifact is set to undergo a solemn benediction and sermon ritual at the sacred site of Toyoda Grand Shrine. The ritual, led by the Principal Paragon of the Kannushi, will commence at 3 PM Minsu Standard Time (MST).The icon's arrival marks the beginning of a sacred journey, with the Celestial Hall, the highest organ of the Gaoist faith, preparing to enshrine the icon for three days. < Previous: Insulare, Bereme and Inte
Classical Period - the Beremean Golden Age
The Bereme civilization's initial territories and imperial conquests.
The Classical Age starts with the reunification of the Beremean lands in 1175 BF by the eleventh dynasty, who founded the Bereme Empire and ruled as the first imperial dynasty until 1112 BF, reconquering lost lands to the west, east and south of the Irto River. Great infrastructure projects across the land were completed in this period, alongside progress in new inventions and technology, which was also continued by the twelfth dynasty. Meanwhile, the influence of the Insulare civilization waned due to an economic decline in their eastern colonies, which were soon abandoned due to Beremean conquest.
The peak of the Bereme civilization in territorial extension and riches came with the thirteenth and fourteenth dynasties, who ruled between from the 10th to 7th centuries BF. They undertook vast territorial expansions, such as the eastern coast conquered in 986 AF, where the Ardalan people later migrated to. Two decades later it was time for the Bereme to deal their revenge to the Insulare, invading their home islands in 959 AF and oppressing the native culture. Last but not least, the Ulerge were conquered in 912 AF, when the Bereme explored even higher reaches of the Irto River and the nearby mountains.
Besides the conquests, the Bereme Empire also enjoyed significant advancements in trade, science and the arts. The empire's strategic location and control over trading routes in northern Andolia facilitated the exchange of many goods, often passing through the Empire's coastal cities of Baire and Hedirto as well as the capital Naftera and the inland trading center of Nenofre. The Bereme civilization had an intricate architecture, seen in the magnificent temples featuring scenes of Beremean religion and often built in honor of a city's given tutelary deity. Their ancient texts about medicine and healthcare also showed advanced scientific knowledge for their time, describing detailed surgical procedures, diagnoses and treatments for various diseases.
However, power struggles happened often by the end of the fourteenth dynasty, and the situation got worse after the eastern subjects of the Bereme rebelled. By this time, the two Northern Boreandolian branches of the Ardala and Ulerge were fully separate and began seeking independence. The Ulerge successfully revolted in 655 BF, causing the overthrow of the reigning emperor and its replacement with the fifteenth dynasty. This dynasty failed to stop the turmoil, and came to an end after the Ardala achieved independence in 590 BF, followed by a loss of the dying empire's southeastern frontier lands.
The Bereme then retreated to their native lands, and the following centuries had more short-lived dynasties, which tried to revive the civilization’s former glory but were often caught in internal fights and only achieved mixed success. Eventually, they eventually fell to the rising Ulerge Khanate in 42 AF.

New Zoradia, Zoran
Atsila sits in her office, eating her breakfast before her daily brief, wondering what sort of issues she needs to resolve today.
I wonder who is going to be causing a fuss today? Will the Junaluskanists be making radical demands in the iyundai again or will it be the Brave Talons? Or will some nationalists be outraged after our rugby team’s defeat to the Nouveauterrans in yesterday’s match?
As she is taking a sip from her glass of water a knock comes from the door, interrupting her thoughts.
“Come in!” she says,
Minister Agaluysdi enters the office carrying a file and bows when he reaches Atsila’s desk,
“Good morning, Your Majesty. I hope my interruption of your breakfast isn’t inconveniencing you.”
“Not at all,” she answers, “but considering this isn’t a phone call I assume it is urgent?”
“Not exactly urgent but something that we may want to keep somewhat of an eye on.” he says as he hands the file to her. As she opens it up and reads through the document he says, “As I am sure Soyohata might have told you a while ago, the Varanians elected a fairly controversial figure as their prime minister, Sarah Finn. However, her rhetoric and policies might warrant us to keep an eye on Varanius as her political allies and her own ideas are jingoistic and nationalist.”
“So I see, but do we have any idea if she is more than her words? Do you think she could be a risk to us, our allies, or the Aniyvwiya nations under our protection in the Darkesian?”
“In terms of the Aniyvwiya I cannot say, but I can say that she will likely be increasing tensions with the Giovannilandians over the region of Andoliavilla. While I do not think she would be bold enough to really push into the Darkesian, we should monitor Varanius just in case and reaffirm our commitment towards the protection of the Aniyvwiya states.”
“Very well, in that case let it be so. I will let you carry that out however you see fit. I personally don’t believe she will become of much concern for us but it wouldn’t help to be cautious.” she says before taking a bite of her tuya gaduhi (see molletes).
“As you wish, Your Majesty. Have a good day.” he says before leaving the office, letting Atsila finish her breakfast in peace, a rare luxury for her these days.

The Final Verse
By Jaan Kapp
With dawn's first blush, I greet the restless sea,
A canvas churned with foam, a symphony
Of crashing waves that lick the jagged shore.
These weathered cliffs, where salty winds implore,
Have seen a lifetime pass, a heart grow old,
Yet hold a beauty that can still unfold.
Here, where the gulls cry out in morning's light,
I chase the muse, a phantom taking flight.
My inkwell's dry, the fire within wanes,
Each verse a sigh, a whisper of past pains.
Love's melody, a songbird long since flown,
Leaves echoes in this heart, now mostly stone.
Noon finds me scaling heights where eagles soar,
Among the peaks, where clouds like giants pour.
The sun, a crown upon the mountain's brow,
Casts long, stark shadows on the world below.
A lifetime's climb, a summit hard-won prize,
But from this height, where memory resides,
I see the tapestry of years unfold,
The triumphs sung, the stories yet untold.
The valleys bloom, where youthful fancies played,
Now tinged with amber, where pleasant dreams have stayed.
And in the distance, faintly, I recall,
A face, a touch, a love that conquered all.
Dusk paints the south in hues of fading fire,
Where swaying grasses whisper on the pyre
Of day's demise. A lone wolf lifts his head,
A mournful cry that echoes 'til it's dead.
The warmth of twilight soothes my weary bones,
A quiet peace upon these golden tones.
Life's final journey, to these lands I've come,
To seek a spark, to chase a phantom's hum.
Though beauty lingers, and the world inspires,
The well of verse runs dry, consumed by fires
Of time's own making. In this fading light,
I close my eyes, and greet the coming night.

Can Weekend Warriors Win A World Cup?
22/6/1424
By Georges Cluney
The National Rugby team is making its debut in Overthinkers this month for the Fifth Rugby World Cup. The nation’s league of only 6 teams put up their best players to face some of the most well funded national teams in the world. What is Nouveauterra’s rugby league like? Is there substance behind the national team being sent overseas? And can a band of weekend warriors really put up a fight against some of the toughest men in rugby?
The Nouveauterran Rugby League is relatively new, only having had its commissioning in 1401. 6 teams take part in the league: Pointe-d’Espoir, Porta Marius and Fabianus, Gué Metropolitan, Ruisseau Rouge, and Agentum. They’re powered by local sponsors, who often own or subsidize the playing fields, the gear, and even the wages.
“Other sports have been more popular, such as futbol, claquer, even only locally played pelta, and they’ve drawn the most crowds,” said Phd. Erol Goededag. He studies the economics of sports at Université Gué. “In sporting communities like this, most players in the league take up supplemental work to get by. As a very dark example, the old boxing league of Nouveauterra had most boxers involved in organized crime before it was reorganized and regulated.”
17 of the 27 national team members are part-time players, with many working odd jobs. To give you a few examples, Tedus Pisca, a halfback, runs his own carpentry business. The team captain and Mr 8, Silvain Flandin, works in the financial sector. Jules Tonguey, the 19-year-old lock on the team, is a full-time player, but he is also studying for a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. This is just a sampling of the many players on the team.
What does this mean for the team? According to some, not much. Most players make it to practice days, even with the split schedules, according to insiders in the national team. The team however can only sport a few veterans because of the low funding, as well as some support staff. The players in the league are roughly as good as the average rugby player in the world, in terms of statistics available online, but as this is their first outing they’re untested.
Coach Hanno Verres
The greatest wild card might not even be the players, or the team, but coach Hanno Verres. He served as coach for an amateur futbol club based in Pointe-d’Espoir, and a short stint as coach for the professionalized Pointe-d’Espoir rugby club before he was tapped for this role. His quick ascension has a few commentators questioning the rationale of the Rugby Commission.
“We have many other professionals,” said sports commentator Peter Van Broek. “Aspis, Hougetteville, Ostesluis… Why Verres is beyond me. I mean we had to hunt down for information about this man up to today. I’m not saying it’s corruption. What I am saying is, it is odd.”
For how odd parts of the Nouveauterran Rugby Team may seem, they’re the team we do have. And as General Van Tuteau said long ago, “You fight with the rifle in your hand, not the one in the shed.”

Leaving for the Rugby World Cup 5, Mingguang Reports
伊代,记者
Fans line against the Mingguang Liyue International Airport 明广李樾国际机场 “李樾机场” (LYI) Terminal B departures as the team departs its transviatic flight over to Overthinkers as the 5th World Rugby Cup approaches.
In a briefing earlier last week, Coach Jiang Kaimang expressed gratitude for the opportunity given by both the Sports Authority and Overthinkers to accommodate Peourouin as a participant in the tournament.
Jiang spoke during an interview with MGNA.
“We are so proud of our players, both new and seasoned, that will participate in the 5th RWC. There’s just something so exciting about the anticipation leading up to the first matchday that I can say is flowing through everybody on the team.
Players also expressed their enthusiasm playing in the tournament, many of them secondary students also chosen to the national team.
Post from Xi Hesong on HahHA.
"Get ready for Peourouin’s thunderous applause!⚡👏#teamapr #北陆兰第一 "
The nation stands just days away from stepping onto the field in Overthinkers and playing Arifiyyah. Arifiyyah is quite a weaker team than Peourouin, however, their team is unknown to the players, having not played each other in the previous tournament.

Saint Mark reacted to Federation of Inner Ryxtylopia in Rugby World Cup V [rosters, roleplays, results]
The Arrival
Cangham International Airport, Cangham, Overthinkers - 1:35 A.M. Overtime (IAT+1)
After arriving at the airport, the players of the Ryxtylopian Rugby Association start to board off the plane, greeted by many fans who had already made the trip in advance, the atmosphere wasn't one of partying, as it was pretty late, the flight from Tiarves Dispirva International Airport in Ryxenia had been long, after suffering a delay in takeoff due to poor weather, but after many... many miles the team had made it to Overthinkers, where most after getting out from the plane into the terminal would have probably been caught off guard by the chilly morning weather.
The team's bus was already waiting outside, but the players waited inside the terminal while the bags were offloaded from the plane and on to the bus, while that went on, several members of the press made their way in, this didn't yet include members from Ryxtylopia's state-owned television program TVNC, which had covered the sporting event in RWC4, but it did include a lot of reporters notably from CN-4, 7Notixias, Il Faro and AuraTelevixyon, as well as independent journalists.
Many of the team players refused interviews for the time being, as they were tired and wanted to get to the hotel, others preferred to take selfies with the fans that had showed up at that hour, while a few did take interviews with the reporters, mainly the team's coach: Andreís Tivarra; who had remained with the national team throught RWC4 and would stay for RWC5.
Several reporters approached Tivarra, who was approaching the exit.
[7Notixias Reporter]: Coach, Tivarra! What are your goals in this RWC?
[Aura Televixyon Reporter]: Will the team be able to hold its own like in the last tournament?
[CN-4 Reporter]: What about the matchups?
[Tivarra]: Please, one at a time... But starting off with my goals for this Rugby World Cup, well... not my goals but the team's goals, we hope to once again be in a semi-final and win it this time, after that its off to the final, we have the necessary abilities to compete with anyone, just have a few key areas where id like to work on.
[CN-4 Reporter]: Like what aspects?
[Tivarra]: I feel like coordination betrayed us in that game against UA last year, so that's my main priority for now, depending on our performance in the first match ill assess any other areas of improvement for the team.
[Il Faro Reporter]: And how tough do you think the group stage will be?
[Tivarra]: Well, currently we're one of the favorite auran teams to win the tournament, i think we'll get through as either 1st or 2nd. As for our rivals we once again cross paths with Zoran, the winners of RWC3, while we did beat them in what i say was one of my most nervous moments they are still a formidable team that should not be underestimated. Our other rival that i somewhat concerns me is Saint Mark, since they also beat their group last RWC.
[Tivarra]: Peourouin is another team that passed their group in Dalimbar, but they lost in stunning fashion to the Zoranians, a decent team, but unless we let our guard down they wont pose any threats to knocking us out in the groups. We shared group Arifiyyah in Dalimbar, and they came dead last in the group, but that dissapointing performance may cause them to start restructuring, so ill have to keep an eye on them to see how they progress.
[Tivarra]: When it comes to Einherfell, i have no idea what to expect, in Dalimbar they bottomed out their group, but im unsure if they'll go through a restructuring process like i expect to happen with Arifiyyah, so for now they pose no big threat to us. Finally Nouveauterra, one of the debuting teams for this tournament, i dont know what to expect from their players or coach, but their lack of experience in tournaments like this is something i hope to exploit.
[Aura Televixyon Reporter]: And what about the players you called up?
[Tivarra]: Most of them are the same from the last tournament, only a few changes, since we performed so well and there are few things to smooth out, i didn't see a need to make any major changes.
[CN-4 Reporter]: Well, what about the weather conditions here?
[Tivarra]: After Dalimbar i thought cold wouldn't be an issue, maybe i was slightly wrong, but we'll get used to it after the first few days, im sure of it.
[7Notixias Reporter]: What about teams outside our group that have a shot at winning?
[Tivarra]: Well, where to start? Going to start with the hosts: Overthinkers, they also had an amaizing time in RWC4, passing 2nd in their group and making it to the quarters, where they only lost to UA by a point; if they had won that match we would have met them in the semis, but since that wasn't the case ill need to see how well they do and how they measure up to us. Then of course, UA... , so far we're two down against them, but the match against them in the semis last RWC was really close, if we cross them i do have a better idea of how to face them but i would be unsure if we could clench a victory; ill still have them as title contenders.
[Tivarra]: I also cannot ignore reigning champions: Dalimbar, i can see them winning another title, their team did amaizingly in their edition of the tournament, but i do not know how not being at home will affect them, nonetheless they shouldn't have a hard time in their group. And since i talked about Dalimbar i might aswell talk about Cambria, since while we did win the race for bronze in RWC4, they did reach the semi final as well as that they can boast about having solid performances in previous RWC's.
At this point, the rest of the team was already boarding the bus, when Tivarra noticed he started to wrap up the interviews.
[Tivarra]: Well, i thank all of you for your attention, i need to go now, we have a lot of stuff to plan out tomorrow, to hopefully be one of the major contenders to win this edition of the Rugby World Cup.
The reporters thank Tivarra before leaving, as he leaves for the bus which would head to the The Elevate Hotel & Resort, where the team would stay for the night. Tivarra probably had a lot in his mind, with his team being more experienced he thought he could relax but now he had extra pressure to perform better than last year, he continued thinking about tactics as he got in the bus with the team headed for the hotel and probably some well earned rest.

Saint Mark reacted to Zoran in Rugby World Cup V [rosters, roleplays, results]
Transcript:
Quiyakaso: Hellooooooooooo Zoran! I am Quiyakaso Gohalitsve!
Noya: And I am Noya Priscian!
Quiyakaso: And we are reporting to you live from Overthinkers inside Merchen Stadium where the Zoranian Sun Hawks are set to play.
Noya: This World Cup will be one you don't want to miss as our Sun Hawks are back with a vengeance according to recent statements made by Coach Amadahy Lvaguta on her social media these past few days.
Quiyakaso: And they better do well because the amount of paperwork we had to go through in order to record here was a massive headache. It was worse than trying to film in Dalimbar!
Noya: I would argue that Dalimbar was worse but I guess it is a matter of perspective. But back to rugby news, Coach Lvaguta has said that the newer members of the team have made some amazing improvements since the last World Cup and have learned a lot from the more experienced and senior players.
Quiyakaso: Did they bulk up since then too?
Noya: What?
Quiyakaso: You know, have they built up more muscle so they can plow through the competition?
Noya: I...I am sure they have. But what matters is that they improve their coordination as a team, which is something that Lvaguta said has occurred since Dalimbar.
Quiyakaso: What if the team gets a giant and puts them in the center of the field.
Noya: A giant?
Quiyakaso: Yeah! Like Utana Ganetsi! A giant who will just stomp upon the opposing team!
Noya: ...Quiyakaso, Utana Ganetsi is just a story...she isn't real...plus of all the giants you could have chosen, you chose the one who's defining feature is the size of her breasts!?
Quiyakaso: Yes because she is the first one that came to mind. And I know she is just a story but...just imagine it! A giant on the Sun Hawks would be awesome!
Noya: ...I don't know how your mind gets to these ideas sometimes.
Quiyakaso: My creative genius is why I got hired in the first place. It simply cannot be restrained by conventional thought!
Noya: ...Okaaaaaaaay...whatever you say, friend.
Quiyakaso: We just need to recruit taller people to the team, get them jacked, and then unleash them upon our opponents! What is the average height in Zoran again? Like 172.72 cm (5'8") to 190.50 cm (6'3")?
Noya: ...I don't know but that doesn't matter right now, Quiyakaso. We should all be looking forward to how our Sun Hawks will perform during this World Cup and cheer them on during their matches!
Quiyakaso: And we should advocate for a team of giants to be made!
Noya: ...No...just no.
Quiyakaso: Come on, Noya! This is something that needs to happen!
Noya: No, no it does not. *sigh* Anyways, that is all from us and we will see you all tomorrow!
Quiyakaso: AND SPAM THE SUN HAWKS PLAYERS ABOUT THE GI-
Noya: Gohalitsve! Don't make me call your mother and tell her about your antics again!
The smile on Quiyakaso's face is quickly replaced with one of terror.
Quiyakaso: ...Please don't tell Agitsi.
Noya: Then stop encouraging the viewers to harass the team about your crazy scheme.
Quiyakaso: ...Ok.
Noya: Well then, with that settled. Thank you all for watching and we will see you next time
