punkdaddy
To members of the NationStates World,The West Pacific has a longstanding history of being leaders of foreign diplomacy and not cow-towing to the whims of circumstances. Today, we make a statement of support for Osiran delegate, Detective Figs, and her formation of a new government in Osiris. In the West, we have and continue to believe in the supremacy of the in-game delegate over forum governments. Our last four delegates have all had differing forms of government than their predecessors and we believe in the delegate’s duty to establish a government as they see fit. For too long, Osiris has suffered from infighting, betrayals, and dirty laundry being aired for all to see.It is no secret that our relations with the Kemetic Republic were neither warm nor friendly. Furthermore, many members of the Kemetic Republic are also leading members of this new Osiris. Nonetheless, we make this announcement with the hopes that supporting a new Osiris will lead towards improved relations between our two esteemed regions and more importantly lead to a stable and welcoming environment for Osiris’ citizens. In support of this, we have dispatched TWP Guardian Eli – with the consent of delegate Detective Figs – to Osiris to be an observer and active participant in the formation of the new government. He will act as our eyes and ears on the ground in Osiris bringing his unique brand to the government formation process.Lastly, we take this bold step in order to encourage others to support the new Osiris regardless of past relations with the former government. At the end of the day, the peaceful working of Osiris is good for all and The West Pacific is committed to supporting Osiris in her efforts to forge a new destiny.Punk DaddyForeign Affairs Minister, The West Pacific

Consular
A good statement, though karp's incredibly sarcastic comments on the NS forum were not particularly helpful.
