I'm sorry that I misunderstood. I saw a subforum called the "Echo Chamber" labelled "Planning Chambers of the Voice," and I assumed that that was where the government was located. For this reason and because I was too scared/socially paranoid I did not ask about it to confirm my assumption. I'm sorry I was wrong, I didn't mean to point any fingers. Although as a whole, I would still say TWP could be more inclusive and open, and more people would participate. If there was a "Welcome" thread, I wouldn't have been confused, and I'm sure there were others besides me. I just don't see why the entire government had to be dissolved when we could have tried to fix it.

I agree. The Voice sign-in hasn't been updated in two months, but that could've been an easy fix. Also, it would have been even better to simply move the Voice out of a protected subforum. The Charter says that any resident can join, but it was locked away, protected by a dusty thread. If it had simply been out in the open, I'm sure there would have been more activity in it. It's possible that a change up of a couple things could have done wonders without scrapping the entire government. In my eyes, there wasn't much attempt to fix it, but that is just as much my fault as anyone's. Anyone could have spoken up, but it didn't happen until recently.

Everyone is talking about inactivity, meanwhile this hasn't been updated since the beginning of July. Is there a reason for that? It seems counterproductive to bar new members from joining because of a thread that needs updating (unless it was deliberate, I can't say which). If anyone can join, then why even have a separate subforum for the Voice? That only serves to drive people away. Transparency is the best option to bring in the numbers.

Forgive me, but what exactly does the Minister of Legislative RP do? And who, if anyone, does he/she serve under? Also, why was the Voice dissolved instead of trying to fix the problem? As a resident, it doesn't make sense to just throw something away without attempting to fix it. And if there was an attempt, it was not made very public.

The national anthem of Fujai is called "By Fjord and Mountain." In the original Fujaian it is called "Avf Fjord et Fujell," and in Norwegian it is called "Av Fjord og Fjell." The words are based on an old folk song about the beauty of Fujai, with a similar theme to "Solas Ané." Lyrics here. It is a ballad sung to a slow march at 80 bpm in D major.

I would be interested in serving as an interim Foreign Affairs DA until Reçu comes back, or someone else steps up, as I will soon have RL violently thrust upon me. Also I have a couple ideas floating around my head for other things...

Yeah, I suppose I could just figure out an alphabet for now, but I'd really like to flesh it out into a somewhat working language. Although now I'm thinking that I don't even need Norwegian for that, I can just create my own words in a vaguely Nordic theme. Why didn't I think of that before? Anyway, thanks for the help. (I still want to learn Norwegian, though. )

Well, let's see, eventually Fujai will use a language loosely based on Norwegian or something to that description. Ideally I would learn Norwegian before embarking on creating said language, but that would require lots of time and effort, so we'll have to play that by ear. Another option is using a more runic language, however, that would mean not being able to type it on a normal keyboard. Also, as I'm writing this, I think I'll end up creating a runic language for the Trondelem or Krelgen (see my factbook), and incorporate some of that into modern Fujaian. More updates will come in the future.

Hello there, I would like to formally submit an application for the position of Ambassador. First: Would I consider TWP my home? Here, yes. I had meant to move to a different region, but it just never happened, and it's fairly warm and comfortable, so I just decided to stick around. Next, in NS, I have no other experience, but IRL, I have plenty of experience with government. As for a specific region, just one with a non-terrible name would be fine.
