Kasper Petrovikan to take leadership of Komity
The popular sportsman Kasper Petrovikan, Brother of Mpitarika and head of Komity Kassakira Petrovikan, is due to take over responsibilities of the Blue Bubble Esferiad Komity after this year's games. This stems from the notice the Komity shared yesterday, with Kassakira commenting to Glenpa News: "I think the Komity needs an athlete to run things, who understands both business and sports. There is no one I trust more than my brother to manage things for next year's games."
The 24-year-old has managed to win silver in the Archery of the games this year, and has been quoted that his sister has been his biggest supporter since the beginning of his sporting journey. Since the event, he has been working with the presenters of Glenpavia Sports Network's Summer Esferiad channel, offering insight and knowledge on this year's athletes.
Just yesterday, the BBEK published a notice about the athletes' performance at the start of the games in that athletes are performing to the best of their ability, and that luck was also on their side in the medal sweep. This was also submitted with published 2nd drug tests of the athletes. At the current moment in time, Blue Bubble is second in the medal standings with a total of 31 medals: 9 gold, 14 silver, and 8 bronze. This is just behind leader Giovanniland who has 32 medals: 12 gold, 10 silver, and 10 bronze.

The show cuts to Jak and James, sitting on the sofa
James: And here we are, with the Mpitarika Kassakira Petrovikan
Kassakira walks on, waving and smiling, before taking a seat.
James: How are you?
Kassakira: I am fine, thank you
Jak: and why are you here today?
Kassakira: Firstly, to let you two know you can continue your normal schedule and predictions a-
Jak hits a button, and a loud bang is heard. Balloons and streamers come down as the presenters cheer, along with what sounds like the rest of the production team. Kassakira looks at it all, startled.
Kassakira: I wish you had told me you were going to do that
Jak: well there is a big red button, what else you think that was?
Kassakira: I really didn't want to think of the possibilities... how long did it take you two to do this?
James: the whole of yesterday. We were out of breath by the end of it.
Kassakira smiles: Well, the other news is that the Komity will release a notice about the athletes tomorrow. No one was suspecting Blue Bubble to be top of the leaderboard for almost the whole week, until today actually, so I and the Komity wanted to address some concerns before any rumours started to crop up.
James nods: So, tomorrow we will be back to our normal acts, and with our normal co-host, Kasper. By the way, what was he doing yesterday?
Kassakira: Oh, that is so classified, even I don't know. May I do the quick run over of today?
Jak: Of course
Kassakira: Well today was a small medal show, but I like to think it is great that we are still winning medals - the momentum is great. Lanino Hanyan won silver in the 10,000m run, and Ivani Haskan won Bronze in the Shot Put. Our Rowing Coxless Fours Team won Silver as well, well done all four of you on your teamwork there. On the look-out for tomorrow, we have the 10 km Marathon Swim, 110 m Hurdles, and Discus Throw to be expected middle of the table and no medals, the Rowing Coxed Eights should be close to a repeat today when looking at the forecast. Fencing Épée Individual Stage 1 should be fun, a full team. I will be watching in person, and I wish the guys well on that, although a bronze is what is predicted that could be possible there, please try and win that for us! For ongoing multiday events, tomorrow we have the Semifinal Beach Volleyball and day 7 of Water Polo, along with day 2 of Indoor Volleyball, congrats on today's wins for all 3 of those. New multiday events tomorrow for us are the Field Hockey and the Rugby Sevens. I wish them luck too.

James: Hello there. While the Komity has banned us from predicting the future terribly-

James: We have been keeping ourselves busy, with these triumph cards.

James: They aren't out until the games are finished, because obviously there is a medals' category which adds extra points if you call it. But they are pretty fun to play.
Jak: That also means we have more medals to win. Today we won one gold - well done Asih Mina for another Equestrian medal.
They really sounded like they were reading from scripts. It was rubbish, and a little depressing.
James: Kasper is busy with █████████ so he is not attending today's show.
Jak: You know you were bleeped out for that.
James: Wait what?
Jak: For the life I hold, just stick to the ██████ script!
James: You didn't first!

Governor's Lavender Palace, Quoriv—11:00 AM International Atomic Time, 29th October 1421
“We are now departing the Palace and traveling to the Duchy Estate at Kharventhin for a meeting with other esteemed world leaders,” King Giovanni VI told the other people present at the room.
He added, “Teodoro Anario-Lauro, the Governor of Lavanda Prima, will be there together with me and a few security guards. Are we all ready?”
“Yes, your Majesty,” replied Theodoro. “Are we traveling by land?”
“No, we shall use a private helicopter with enough space for myself, the Governor, and the four guards. One of the guards is also a trusted pilot and will be commanding the flight,” explained the King.
They left the palace and entered the helicopter. The trip lasted around half an hour, and soon they arrived at a heliport in Kharventhin near the Duchy Estate.
Duchy Estate, Kharventhin—12:00 PM International Atomic Time, 29th October 1421
“Your Majesty!” Kassakira walks over to the pair, heels clicking across the polished floor, “And you must be the Governor, yes?”
“Yes, I am in fact the Governor of the province whose capital is co-hosting the games together with this city,” replied Teodoro. Meanwhile, the King greeted the Mpitarika.
“Of course, I have read your reports on the city and the plans… How are the games going over there? I understand there was a lot of investment made to allow the capability of the province to be upped, so we could handle the games. Thank you for that, by the way.”
“The games are going nicely, and they have also generated a lot of income from tourists coming to visit not only the games, but also the beautiful Lavandulan historical district and the Violetist churches and royal houses from the Duchy, just like this one. And you’re welcome, of course,” said the Governor.
Kassakira smiles, “Sounds like it was worth the cost, then.” She glances at the King, “How are you feeling about the games currently? I understand that you are 3rd in the rankings currently?”
“The games have been wonderful so far, I’ve watched certain events from the Governor’s Palace after opening the games together with you in the Opening Ceremony. We are in fact 3rd by gold medals at the moment, although there are some strong athletes competing today so I hope we can rise to 2nd,” noted the King. He added, “We’re already 2nd if we count by total medals, after all.”
“I wish them plenty of luck today. I was surprised of how quickly Blue Bubble has risen to the top of the leaderboard, in fact that we have managed to stay number 1 for almost a 3rd of the games in total. They have really made quite the impression, I believe.” She glances at Meklit for a second, looking nervous. He was speaking to the waiter, distracted by the canapés.
“I was also impressed by your nation’s performance, it’s a really good representation of Lavender Island. While Giovanniland had a less than average start, I think we can safely say that both our nations’ performances, together with other Auran teams such as Saint Mark, Santos-Dominius and Orandia, have shown the world a strong showing by our continent.”
She nods slowly, taking in his compliment, “I understand that our relations have been positive for the last 100-ish years, and that Giovanniland understands Blue Bubble almost as well as Blue Bubble understands itself. Although Blue Bubble hasn’t always been the most open country to the rest of the world, I am grateful for all that you think of us. You understand that I’d happily listen to any collaboration or ideas you may have for our nations, yes?” she speaks softly, almost shyly.
“Of course,” the King agreed. “One of the main focuses of our prime minister Amore Gile Abrente is to keep Giovanniland at the same speed as Esferos is advancing in technology, and we’d of course be happy with any collaboration on this matter or any other that you may have.”
“Well, you have kept us up to speed on any latest technology for a long time. Now I want to open Blue Bubble to the world, I think our joint support on Larxia’s ambition for an international committee for science, with our own Lavender Island push in technology between ourselves could be something for the future?” Kassakira relaxes, Meklit winking at her as he walks behind the King to speak to another Leader.
“I must say Giovanniland does not exactly trust Larxia due to their historical opposition to us, but if other, more trusted Auran nations are also willing to join this international committee, then I’ll see what Amore and the Senate of Giovanniland think,” the King said.
Kass takes a drink from a passing waiter as he catches her eye, “I understand your concerns, I believe in this idea. It will benefit you as much as it will benefit Larxia. Either way, I am looking to push technology advancement, and I would like to do such with my closest ally.” she smirks, taking a sip.
“That’s fair, as I said before I’ll talk with the government and hopefully they are open to the idea. But when the topic is technology advancement between our two nations, I can say for sure that it’s certainly an idea that Giovanniland would support, even if I’m not the one making the decisions.”
“We are of the same ground, Your Majesty, please remember that when I am conducting new business with other nations, including those nations you are perhaps not on the best of terms with.” she winks, and looks over, “It appears the Larxian King and Foreign Affairs Minister is here. I must go and say hello, please enjoy the rest of your afternoon.”
“Of course, our conversation has taken a lot of time already, and it’s almost 13:00, so I understand that you should also talk with other leaders,” the King remarked. “If you don’t mind, myself and the other Giovannilandians here will taste some of the canapés served here, and later, perhaps talk with some other world leaders as well. See you soon, and thank you for organizing this.”
“It is my pleasure, may we speak soon.” She nods, just as Meklit appears to whisk her away. They speak in hushed tones as they walk away, in Glenpavian: “Kass, my Fitiavana, are you taking a note out of-” “Yes. I think it is required, though.” He nods, “Of course.”

Kasper comes onto the screen: guys I thought you were suppose to have done the predictions yesterday, and have them prepared for today?
Jak, with a set of cards in his hand: the komity rang and said that maybe we should stop that
James, with other hand of cards: so we have. And just cant be bothered to do the rest of it for now
Kasper: why am I the only competent one here?
The two Js shrug, focused on their game.
Kasper shakes his head: well then, I congratulate the last few winners of medals for Blue Bubble, keeping us in 1st place. And today, I extend my condolences to the Cambrian royal family during this dark time. Thank you for watching, and good night.
The screen goes to a image of the princess, for a moment of silence, before carrying on recaps of the games so far.

Kassakira paces the Duchy House's Meeting room, on the private side of the castle. This isnt her forte, shes easier being a informal visitor than a formal host. But needs must.
As each leader arrived, she welcomed them politely. As Prince Marcarius mentioned her pride in the country for the games, she smiles "as much as I was not expecting it, yes. I am."
It wasnt a lie, she was proud. It's a triumph to be in this situation. But it felt like a lie. She knew it wasn't suppose to be.
She takes a glass of wine from the waiter walking past as Meklit Guntur walks in. She waves him over. They had already been over the topics they want to address the night before, and Guntur was less fazed by the games issue.
"So what that we win so many medals? They know Blue Bubble is a strong country. I blame all them military schools we have." He had joked.
She walks over to the King of Larxia, greeting him. "Its so delightful to see you doing well. I know our treaty review is coming up, so I thought you might want to meet someone, this is Meklit."
Meklit holds out a hand for him to shake "Government advisor of Military and Lieutenant general of the Glenpavia Army." He smiles "and also bronze medalist in the Air Pistol this year."

Kassakira walks across the main office floor of the Blue Bubble Esferiad Komity, and knocks on the door of the main leaders, Ociden Shoviv and Lena Hants.
"Come in!"
She opens the door, and almost storms in, "I have a knot to pick with both of you!"
They look at each other in panic as she starts her rant, the door slamming behind her
"You said we will do average, and we will be shown as a comfortable but stable country. So why on Lavans dirt are we top of the leader board with 18 medals?!" She hisses, her necklaces dangle as she places her hands on the back of the sofa. Her vibes were very angry.
"Well you-" Ociden starts
"I know I asked for Guntur and my brother. But you had data analysts on this. We are running rings round other countries! Its embarrassing! I wanted to hide in plain sight, because we needed to do so to go forward as a nation. Not completely show up the King of Saint Mark!" She points to the TV, recapping the Blue Bubble medal wins.
Lena stands up, almost shaking "the athletes.. they are strong people. We werent exactly expecting this push from them either." She says quietly
"I have a event tomorrow with other leaders, I will tell you what damage you've done afterwards." She growls
Lena nods "we will look into it on our side too."
Kassakira glares at them, waving a finger at them "don't mess this up again. I dont want to be accused of any wrongdoing here because you decided to pick out people who excel beyond what is needed right now." She turns and heads to the door, done with any form of excuse.
Ociden nods "We are sorry about-"
The door slams shut.
"-this. Lena, what have we done?"
"I.. I dont know. What have we done?"
They look at each other. Scared. Confused. Concerned.

Hi Guys!! I am from Blue Bubble (We call it Glenpavia!) and my name is Ana. I just want to tell you guys a little bit about my country's history around Independence Day as IDK if anyone else understands it?? IDK if anyone is taught this, but its like really important to me so here we go:
On the 15th August 1091, Glenpavia was finally liberated from Giovannilandian rule. This was done over the previous 3 years after the eastern side of the island revolted and separated from the empire. To understand how this happened, You need to know a little bit of the history of Glenpavia.At the same time as the height of the Lavandulan’s empire, there was a minor invasion to the south west of the island. These people were travellers by nature, crossing land and ocean to see what is out there. Over the following centuries, the Glendora people who stayed on the island lived and interacted with Lavandulans, becoming a small but growing clan of Glendulans. The clan took land that the empire did not want to the south-west and soon grew into a nation which did not fight with the empire but had friendly relations. The modern day Glenpavia language is a mix of the native language of the clan and of Lavandulan. Following the breakdown of the empire, the people of Glendula divided into the north and the south with a civil war which was still being fought through a Cold War at the time of Giovanniland's conquest. The northern clan allowed conquest quickly in the belief the empire would help the side win, but the south resisted for 4 more years before admitting defeat in 731.
During the time in the empire, Glendula culture was suppressed, and many families were forced to take on Giovannese names to protect themselves from prosecution. From 911, those of Glendula heritage began protesting the oppression, and began a movement of expression. Although minor efforts of Empress Teresa I allowed restrictions to easen, the Glendulan people were angry. It was during the rule of her son, Bruto, where the ambition to become one nation became ahead again. Records document a record movement of Glendulans to what is now the nation of Glenpavia during this time, as historical documents show a large underground rebellion network. The Glenpavian Group (AKA the rebelion name of the Glendulans) first rebelled in 1090, but did not succeed. In 1091, the rebellion resurfaced and kept up the revolt until Emperor Pietro I signed over the land of Glenpavia to Tsiory Amin, one of the main leaders of the rebellion and chosen first Mpitarika of Glenpavia.
This moment in history is often documented with a lot of celebration, but also terror for those of Giovannese nationality in the new nation. After the declaration of freedom, there was a month of mass movement of those who had been in the region but was not of Glendula heritage, as those who stayed faced discrimination.
Since these turbulent times, the mark of independence has become a majority positive thing for Glenpavia, with communities coming together to mourn the lives lost and celebrate their continued freedom. We have adopted the Glenpavia name to describe our people and our culture as a result of our relations, and we are very passionate about our history.Independence Day starts 2 days before, with a day of mourning. There is often a minute of silence, and memorials across the nation are decorated. The schools and workplaces are often not in for the day of mourning, and do not go back until the day after Independence Day. Adults have Independence Day as a day of national rest as well. The middle day is the day of change, where we take time to change something in our lives, normally a redecoration of our homes. Some opt for a change of looks, some may go for a change in social life. There are often posts on social media of major changes people may make on this day.
The actual day of Independence is a day of celebration, with major parties in town centres. There is free food, dancing, drinking, and everyone gets dressed up. Towards the nighttime, some places have fireworks too. The Mpitarika has a big speech which everyone watches. This year, Kassakira Petrovikan spoke about the topic of showing off our national pride and culture, and it spoke a lot to me. That’s why I am writing this blog. And totally not because this was also a history assignment.

James and Jak sit there. Silence floats around the newsroom.
Kasper joins the screen, still in Quoriv. He frowns. "What is happening?"
Jak speaks up, "We are thinking about today"
Kasper rolls his eyes, "I'll do your job then. Welcome to the look at day 2 of the Summer Esferiad." He winks as he gives a thumbs up.
Once the title sequence finishes, it goes to a full-screen view of Kasper.
"Let's get started. We are now 100% top of the leaderboard. That's hot stuff- We have been smashing it. We got 3 more gold, 4 more silver, and 3 more bronze today - total domination. Although I feel like we scored on the diving because of the Saint Mark's super diver Amelia Springstein had a medial emergency - as the only Blue Bubble athlete who likes to be on TV, I wish her a speedy recovery on behalf of the whole team.
Softly moving on, I am going to start with the Equestrian Dressage. Ishikawa, Fitiavana, you clawed back from yesterday amazingly. The stakes were going to be higher, and you... you just killed it, even with Saint Mark out there with the new world record. Beautiful.
The windsurfing, just like the 10m Air Pistol was a wipe out, those three played to their strengths there. Gawa and Miya will be doing the Multihull tomorrow, and I really believe in them. The 10m Air Rifle was also very strong - Gold and Bronze. I am sure Itou is proud of Shinoda for keeping it Gold for us.
We also managed to get Silver in the 3m Springboard Dive, I think if Springstein would had been able to play in form, Patel would be looking at a Bronze there. Finally, the Taekwondo. I know Sensei Hivahiny will be proud of the Silver and Bronze we managed to get - After all, we were guaranteed at least one medal there. I am surprised at how well we are doing, and I think others are too. But, I think our hard work is a great thing, and a great statement for Blue Bubble internationally currently.
Looking towards at tomorrow's events, we have the tennis singles, which from today's scores look promising for Krisna after her two wins today. The 200m Backstroke will be a tough challenge, as will be the 100m Run, and High Jump. Equestrian Eventing Individual may be a strong play from Tsuno, but there is always the team event too. Trap Shooting has slightly weaker athletes tomorrow, so hopefully they will be midrange in the group. Judo Stage 1 will also start, and with 3 athletes, I believe we could be at play for a medal there. Very exciting stuff, I hope to see it play out, but for now, I'm going to get a drink. I really need it. Good Night Glenpavia!"

Kasper: my heart stopped, all I could think was that my sister was right there like right behind me in the seating area. She is a very private person, but like I felt that pride, that love. So, taking a look at her, and have her almost jumping to hug me. Ugh, She's my biggest supporter, no matter what political thing is happening, she is there for my competitions. It's a lot. This is a lot. I'm glad I got silver and that Jana got bronze.
Jak: You really just love to see it, honestly. Everyone is proud of you both.
James: You know who else I am proud of, the pistol team.
Kasper: Oh my god, yes! All 3 metals. Such a power play.
Jak: and a new world record!
Kasper: Kass is back in Blue Bubble now, so she is celebrating with them or something. I don't know.

James: Decent. Like, we came forth in some... but shame about the sailing, honestly.
Jak: I was hoping we would do better with that, but... at least we expected the baseball.
Kasper: I actually love our baseball team, they won't take this as a sore loss.
James: Very true. Shall we look at tomorrow's events?
Jak: Fab Idea, do the thing Kasper!
Kasper: So Tomorrow is still going to be fun - 3 m Springboard Dive, we have Vasilyev and Patel. I am expecting them to be comfortable - nothing special from them.
Then the 1500 m Freestyle Swim, we have Marritt and Line again - Line came 4th today, and Marritt did not get past the heats. I am hoping for some claw back, but I am not holding out there. Now, Sailing Windsurfing, I had some High Hopes for Gawa and Ichimo, but after today's result - I am just unsure. 10 m Air Rifle, I am wishing for a decent score from those 3, but They aren't as strong as today's team. Maybe a 3rd place will do. I like the sound of that. We have two in the Tennis Singles, I am not expecting record breakers with them, just a clean performance. Oh yeah, you must watch the Taekwondo Finals, looks to be Blue Bubble VS Hertfordshire knockout if I can read correctly- I am confident in them, they did wonderful today. We will also be in tomorrow's Water Polo and Beach Volleyball events - again, a bronze will be nice. Overall, I predict some slight rain and maybe a rainbow or two - average all round, with one or two medals if we have the push.James: Thank you, Kasper, for your thoughts. Kassakira takes off that blasted cape. Not her style at all. She picks up her phone, falling onto her bed. It was a private room, given, so she can stay the night before travelling home.
She smiles, yawning. It was going to be a peaceful night.
James: Welcome to the Glenpavia Sports Network: Summer Esferiad Edition!
Jak: I am really starting to wonder why there is just a channel for GSN normal edition now
James: We come to you live to report our sports over the next two weeks
Jak: and let's get started! We have a bumper first day for Blue Bubble, honestly - with participation in all events
James: Ah yes, firstly the Artistic Swimming. A good average team from Blue Bubble there. I'd expect about middle table there from the team.
Jak: Then the 200 m Freestyle Swim, again average, with Adrien Line leading the group comfortable.
James: Oh, the Archery- this is important. Kasper Petrovikan is heading the way there. I really hope he gets a bronze, if not for him, then for his sister.
Jak: speaking of which, those siblings did great this opening ceremony, very strong looking to represent us.
James: I know, I'd expect Kassakira to be there in person to watch him perform, like officially this time.
Jak: She does attend all his national competitions though. We love the support they give each other, honestly.
James: Moving onto the Equestrian Dressage Individuals, we have Ishikawa going for a good score.
Jak: I really think these games will allow our athletes to understand where they are within the world rankings, this isn't make or break for Blue Bubble, but to break through and make history for our nation.
James: I agree, but no matter what they do, their best will still place them in the history books for a while, Jak.
Jak: Looking at the Sailing One-person Dinghy, We have a full team! All very strong, and ready to play. I suppose it is in our blood after all.
James: The Shooting also looks promising, with Meklit Guntur leading the way. He is a wonderful guy, honestly, very down to earth.
Jak: Plus he is in his hometown there, with his home shooting range. He will be strong I think.
James: The Taekwondo Stage 1's will also start - With two above average players, I hope we will be somewhat high in the rankings there
Jak: We have a rather medium team for the Water Polo and Beach Volleyball too - These games will be pretty comfortable middle standings for us.
James: For a country who wasn't in the games last year, I think we can take that.

Kasper opens his phone, the ping was heard across the room as the Blue Bubble Team get ready to walk out. She was wearing the traditional Leader uniform - from when the Army was the most important thing to his country. It was her first real public appearance to the world, after all.
It was captioned: "Official Photo released, just in time for the opening ceremony. The sword won't be included tonight, though."
He smiles. She knew how to rock an outfit, even as humble as she is. He posts a comment, "Looking amazing. Good luck tonight!"
Shrugging on his Blazer, he hears another ping of his phone.
A DM. "Good Luck for the games, BTW. I am hoping I can catch the Archery to see you play." He starts to reply when a follow-up message appears. "And lose LOL!! Xxx"

Blue Bubble and Kharventhin

Basic Information
Blue Bubble is located on the west side of Lavender Island, and has a rich history which is entwined with Giovanniland. As the current Mpitarika attempts to come out of the isolation culture the previous leaders have adopted, working with Giovanniland offers the perfect stage for new relations that Blue Bubble is wanting to begin.
Kharventhin is perhaps the most ancient city in Blue Bubble, with its origins in the Lavandulan civilization. It was founded during Lavandula’s westward expansion in the 16th century BF and served as an important outpost. During the fall of the Lavandulan Empire, it became abandoned for a while, but was reconquered by the Duchy of Quoriv after the Battle of Kharventhin in 187 BF, becoming the main access to the western north of Lavender Island. It remained a major northern city during the Giovannian Empire, and later became the main northern centre for Blue Bubble’s struggle for independence. Its importance of culture is still well noted now, with plenty of monuments and history buildings across the central city landscape. During the time of Blue Bubble, it has been identified as a quietly expanding city, with many close villages becoming suburbs for the city, and is the 3rd largest city in Blue Bubble. It is noted as one of the upcoming cities of Blue Bubble for 1421, and a well-loved holiday for many Glenpavians.
For the games, the airport has received an update, along with the train station, which is located near the athletes village. These and the network of main 61’ Roads are the easiest way of leaving and entering the city. Also highlighted on the map are venues, and places of culture within the city- often around these places you will see places to stay and to eat. Due to The previous stance on immigration and foreign travel, you will see a lot more Blue Bubble based eateries which host a range of native cultural dishes. These dishes include stews with seafood, grains and vegetables, Salted Beef in red wine, and fish in a tender tomato, garlic, ginger and herb sauce.

Rano Aquatics Centre - Aquatics
Built for the Esferiad games, this new venue for Aquatics is part of the Enrichment program for young Glenpavians, and will be used for training and education purposes after the games.
Kharventhin Boxing Stadium - Boxing, Wrestling
Boxing is a popular event to watch at bars across the country, with major matches being filmed at Kharventhin Boxing Stadium often.
Kharventhin National Park, City, and Violet Lake - Canoeing, Rowing, Triathlon
The National Park is a focal point for Glenpavians to visit Kharventhin due to the range of camping grounds, hiking routes, as well as parts of the Reni river dedicated to canoeing and other outdoor water activities like fishing, and Violet Lake, where many fish and row. The city will be used with the river to host the Triathlon.
The National GKA Budo Dojo - Fencing, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo
The Glenpavia Karate Association set up this dojo for all Budo to perform seminars and competitions. As a dedicated space for these arts with large seating areas, Kharventhin decided the Dojo will be perfect. They have recently increased the seating as a gift for hosting the most events in Kharventhin during the games, as there is expectation of increased interest of what the dojo has to offer in the near future.
Masina Marina - Sailing
Near the mouth of the Reni River, this Marina is popular with new international visitors and those who can afford a space on the spacious dock
Moka Centre of Shooting - Shooting
Just like the Aquatics centre, this centre is built for the games, and will be used as practice afterwards.
Masina Beach - Surfing
The popular place to chill and surf, this beach is perfect for the games.
Patin Skate Park - Skateboarding
This Park is newly built as part of the Enrichment program, but has been given additional grants for seating for the games. Skateboarding is a popular pastime for youths, and this park will be free to use after the games.
Sarana Stadium - Beach Volleyball
Built for the games, this Stadium sits on Masina Beach, further up from where the surfing will take place.
Siraka Stadium - Indoor Volleyball
Situated in the city, this Stadium is actually multi-purpose, and many regional school tournaments are hosted here.
Places of Culture
Lavandulan Ruins and Museum
These ruins are well-preserved evidence of Lavandulan culture. The Museum includes further artefacts and information about the ruins outside.
The Duchy Estate
This Medieval Castle was built for the Duchy of Quoriv, and is open to visitors to look inside and learn more about Kharventhin’s role in the Duchy. You can also eat on the promenade in front of the small man-made lake which covers a part of the grounds.
Glendora Sailing Boats
These boats are built in the style of the Glendora Nomads who decided to settle on Lavender Island. This kind of attraction is common across many seaside cities in Blue Bubble, but is still a fun trip on the waters.
Uprising Memorial and Museum
This Statue marks the memorial of the 1091 uprisings of the Giovannian Empire, and allows those to mourn those who lost their lives across both nations. It is a solemn place, and is marked with Lavender flowers every August during the Independence period of mourning and celebrations.

A Magazine lays in a doctor's waiting room, all shiny and new. You have a weird back rash that needed to be looked at, and this magazine looked at you as you sat there in the waiting room, in pain.
You pick it up, recognising the lady as the leader, Mpitarika Kassakira Petrovikan. Turning to her interview, you raise an eyebrow. It is only one page, but then again she has already been called the woman of little words, so maybe it is not that surprising as you originally thought.
You have a quick skim, then hear your name. You put the magazine on the side and head in.
[Interview Transcript:
She led us to her small apartment balcony to host the interview, with the busy but seemingly distant street below us. I can understand why she doesn't want to move out for the Trano Vao. Her decision for the interview place strikes me with surprise - for someone who is not online, she is very open about what she is doing. Anyone could show up and take photos, or call out to her, but they don't. Her trust in our nation seems perfectly placed.
It is almost impressive how radiant she looks, as she sighs about her long day at work. It is mid-afternoon, I point out, and she smiles. "Time is dependent on the person, not the clock, my namako" she replies.
First, how are you feeling about winning the election?
Honestly, I am amazed, I was not expecting to win at all. I am new to politics, and with only being 29, I am now the youngest Mpitarika in history. I am glad my hard work has got me this far, and I am hoping that it furthers our country now.
I am sure the nation are in agreement. What first steps have you taken to kickstart your leadership?
I have already reformed the current assembly and have put some Pahefana in roles which suit them and what they care about. I think the biggest thing is the turnround of outside influence, introducing new ways for us to be involved. I know we mainly just stuck to trade deals in the past, but with boarders open for tourism, and more effort to join international events, I think we can really start to become something in the world.
They do say it is in your blood, tell me about your Glendon heritage.
It is very southern, which we know are not linked to the Lavandulan people as much as those who migrated north. I am very proud of my culture, and like most Glenpavians, I celebrate my ancestral holidays and follow the Fivavahana religion. Our heritage is unique, and I am hoping that strongly influences our turn into International relations.
Obviously, our nation is close to Giovanniland, and also the nation of Zoran. For our new international readers, would you like to comment on what is happening over there?
It is terrible, and I hope the nation can find peace soon. When the dust settles for them, I am happy to help them repair their country in any way needed. My heart goes out to those who are lost in the conflict, and I have already started a refugee scheme for those who appear on our shores.

"Hi guys..." Bernard starts, sighing
The team are seated looking frustrated in the background. It feels just a little too dramatic.
The captain goes on to explain the depressing loss against Cambria. How they headed in too confident, and how it came back to bite them.
The stream ended quickly, fans comments of support for the team, with a couple of comments of annoyance mixed in.
The team all look to each other. Bernard cleared his throat.
"We have to win this next match."
Evander nodded in agreement, while the others look at him, unsure of what to do.
"I am thinking, we check out H&J's previous matches tonight, see what they are good at and not so. We should plan to play to our strengths and their weaknesses."
Evander pipes up "I think we should assign bowlers to batters- I'm great at lower throws than Pakand, so I can take on players that don't go defensive?"
Bernard nods, "We can totally do that, and bat to match their fielding style, so we really get the most out of our Inning"
The team cheers
"Okay, lets get started!"

Jak: "I am actually quite excited, James, I think this Tournament is a major game move for the nation in general, and the strength of our country internationally basically relies on these guys, what about you?"
James: *Laughs* "On the worlds above, beyond, and within, You are coming back with the seriousness today! I am just excited about the game play today."
Jak: "Well there has to be someone to keep you held back. Now we are in San Dojas right now, and everything is being set up"James: "Yup, the stadium is filling up quite nicely, if you were watching the interview on the Glenpa News yesterday-"
Jak: "Oh well, I was, I mean... I cannot wait to spot Kassacira tonight, and the team were so confident. I hope that confidence pays off in the right way today."
James: "I'll bet you 5 Blues I will see her first!"

Jak: "I mean, the Teralyon team is a very aggressive team according to training and the Glenpavian team are pretty defensive, so it's a very well evened match. We are just going to have to watch this out. Looks like… Yup! The Teralyons are going first for batting"
James: "Remember this is T20, so there are 20 overs in an inning, and each team has one Inning. Very Fast and very quick"
Jak: "Yup and its Evabder Sibel up to bowl. She can be ruthless with the ball."James: "It is Zan Grabower to hit, He is tough, very strong. Leslaw is on the other wicket. Good pairing"
Jak: "We have our trusty Delkee and Trenin on wicketkeeping, Honest men"
James: "And Evabder Bowls the first ball of the runner's tournment.."Jak: "He has only bloody gone and hit it… The ball bounces… The men are running…"
James:"The runners are quick- Look at that throw, right that's two runs for the Teralyon on the first bat. Very good"
Jak: "You have to credit them, they are great at what they do"

"No Kass, still nothing" Her advisor replies, looking at her phone as they leave the seats
"I mean, my team played so well, on the worlds above, beyond and within, When is the next game?"
"I really dont know yet. I thought you were here to do some networking?" Lodi looks up at her
She shakes her head "You know I don't trust other nations."
Lodi sighs "I mean, if you just gave them a chance?"
"If a nation which isn't Giovanniland shows me some kind of respect, then maybe, MAYBE I'll think about it?"
"You have to watch your rating though"
"That is true. I'll think about changing my mind on that then, I suppose" Kass sighs.

It was 10 hours before the opening ceremony and the team had just landed.
Bernard grinned as he walked through the air bridge, looking refreshed. His phone was on the end of a selfie stick so he could capture the whole team. "Good morning Guys!" He spoke loud and clear. He was a good-looking guy - the perfect poster child for the team - their PR manager thought as she followed ahead. She already knew the news network was set up for the pre-opening ceremony interview with the team, just ready to start after the team gets settled in.
Behind her, the captain was chatting to a climbing audience, having already introduced the team. Evander Sibel had been the quietest during the flight, She wasn't used to flying just yet, but she managed it. Barely. But when she was in front of the camera, she had lit up, and for PR Expert Landel Akom, that was perfect. "We are so ready to just show what Glenpavia has to offer. Bluemen never give up without a good fight." Evander winks at the camera. She was a rural southern island girl, and her accent was catching the attention of a lot of adversing agencies.
When they got to immigration, the team was finished filming, having answered some viewer's questions, and reported their excitement. By the time they got to the hotel, the team's page and accounts had excitingly increased in numbers, and they were ready to show off whatever rooms they got.
The rest of the day went swimmingly for the team and their managers. After the opening ceremony, the team all went into one room to celebrate their arrival. Their Coach, Walen Pother, had made sure no alcohol was consumed. That was going to be saved for later, saved for when they win.
"And now, over to our Sports Correspondent, Tennie, Over in New Larxia with our all-star cricket team"
The light went red, and Tennie softly smiled at the screen. "Hello from New Larxia, where I am here with the greatest of the greats!"
"Now now Tennie, we haven't won just yet" Bernard winks at her, joking. She laughs, joining in with the rest of the team, "Of course, but you are all come recommended by your own clubs back in Glenpavia, how does that feel?"
Kasp Aitry speaks up "It is an honour to be seen so highly by our own clubs. I know we had to go through a tough screening process to get on this team, and I am just thankful for not only our clubs, but all of our nation for believing in us. I know we are up against some tough competition, but to echo what Evander said earlier" she motions to the girl on the right of her "We will not give up until our last breath in this tournament"
The rest of the team nod in agreement, the captain ending the answer with a "We have quickly bonded as a team, and we can't wait to get out on the pitch"From behind the camera, Landel Akom give them a thumbs up as Tennie continues "And we back at home are all rooting for you. My next question was about how excited you are, but you have already seemed to have answered that! Who do you think your toughest team will be?"
Grant Yonlon chooses to answer "Well, we have watched some teams play before, but others we don't have a clue about, so we cannot answer in terms of the whole tournament. There are a lot of highly skilled and confident players out there, and we are going to have to be on our A game to win the cup. But I think with confidence and teamwork, we will be able to fight through""I am sure we will be on the edge of our seats watching your matches guys! Now I noticed you did a video stream a few hours ago, Bernard, Do you have anything to say to your fans back home here on TV?" Tennie looks at him.
He nods "I just want to say, when we win this, we will do it for you guys, and the rest of Glenpavia-" Tennie speaks up over him "I am sorry Bernard, but I have just received news that Our current leader, Kassakira Petrovikan, will be joining you from the sidelines this tournament. I know a lot of bluemen have travelled to watch, but how exciting to have someone of such influence watching in person. How do you feel?"
Delkee was the first to speak, from surprise mostly. The leader of Blue Bubble was known for how eccentric she is, but also well she looks after the nation. For a nation who lives though the media, she rarely gives interviews or personally posts online. For Bluemen at home, playing "spot the leader" was a fun bet to play while watching if there was any wind of the woman being in the crowd. "We love that Kassakira has decided to support us in person" She looks at the camera "We hope to see you soon Miss 1st Leader, and we hope to make you proud!"
"And that's all we got time for today, Thank Blue Runners for joining us, and I hope you have a successful run this tournament. This is Tannie, back to the studio." -

Kassakira smiles in the mirror in the main ballroom as her brother runs behind her, throwing streamers on the chandelier.
"Honestly," she smiles "I like this more than the uniform for the opening cermony."
Kasper looks as he runs to get another set of streamers, "Yes! You look amazing, gonna make the king stutter!" he jokes
She turns to look at him, shocked, "Will you give up on this quest about getting me with another foreign diplomat or something!?"
He throws the pack at her "Of course, like I pretend that I dont see those looks Meklit gives you."
She looks at him shocked "What looks?" she replies catching the streamers, and opening it for him.
He gives her a smirk "Like you dont just rule this country, but also his heart."
She scoffs, throwing the open pack back "Why are you doing the set up for your party anyway?"
Kasper thumbles to get one out, and then throws it at the second chandelier "I fired like.. everyone. Only for the day like, but I thought a new start would help them"
Kassakira groans, walking over to help "Thats just a days holiday, genius... Let me find the ladder, or you will never be finished in time"
