COMPUTECH Breaks Ground on New Production Facility

Wexford Co.- (Aug 9, 1420. Story by Louis Eastborne) Today Marisalia's leading technologycompany, COMPUTECH, broke ground for the long awaited BuildAPhone production facility in Western Marisalia.
The new facility is the result of new trade laws introduced by the Ministry of Labor back in June. The new laws require that major companies founded in Marisalia must have a percentage of their production force to remain in the country.
COMPUTECH was founded by Sir John Blakely in Totford Co. in 1382 and has since grown into Marisalia's leading technology company, with Blakely as Chief Executive Officer. Major products from the company include the BuildAPhone and MicroPC. The company is valued at over two-million notro and this facility will only further increase its value.
Wexford has had struggles with unemployment in the past and is currently in the country's top 10 for government assistance. COMPUTECH, however, is optimistic that this new facility will change Wexford for the better.
"This facility will open up jobs for the entire county and nation," a spokesman for the firm said. "It will provide more than just construction work, but also engineering and producers for BuildAPhone components when the facility opens! This is a win-win for both COMPUTECH and for County Wexford."

Bramsea, Marisalia. Jan 5,1418. 1900 PET
Bramsea Palace. The 299th Founders Day Ball is in progress.

Despite being a full hour into the event, the floor of the Great Hall is choked with swirling pairs of dancers. The waltz being played by a large orchestra in the corner is far too loud for any chance of conversation. At the front of the hall, a long line of distinguished-looking ladies and gentlemen in evening dress receive guests as they enter. The receiving line ends with a gentleman whose evening dress has the addition of a gold-fabric sash of medals and a gold cord under his right arm. He looks to be on the younger side of 50 years old. He has salt and pepper hair and blue eyes that seem to wander, even if they are staring at you. Despite his glamor and cheerful attitude towards his guests, he struggles to hide the stresses of his work.
This man is Alexander Moore, the ruler of The Kingdom of Marisalia and the host of this evening’s soiree.
The line moves quickly—a small handshake here, a few polite greetings there, and a bow to the king. After roughly a half-hour, the receiving line breaks apart to mill among the crowd. Another gentleman, his office of Executive Chancellor marked by a silver-fabric sash, approaches the king and his aide. His aide is a wizened yet still somehow spry gentleman with white hair, green eyes, and a gold crown pin on his right lapel (the symbol of The Minister of The Crown). The Executive Chancellor, Edwin, makes a deep dow to the king and a small and courteous nod to the minister, who nods back.
“Time for your opening speech, Your Majesty, ” Edwin says as he looks throughout the crowd.
“Yes, I suppose it is,” Alexander silently motions to a nearby guard in full dress uniform. The guard nods and slowly begins to clear a path through the crowd to a stairway, allowing the leaders to pass uninhibited. The stairway is blocked by a gold ribbon, tied from opposite ends at the bottom step. Two guards, dressed like their path-finding comrade, stand guard at the foot of the stairs to prevent any mischievous guests from removing the ribbon. The stairway curves upwards to a second-floor balcony which wraps around the Great Hall, and its railing is lined at regular intervals with the national flag. The ceiling above is host to the banners representing the 46 municipal counties of the kingdom, all hanging and waving gently in the man-made breeze.
The group unties the banner and proceeds up the stairs. About halfway up, the music from the orchestra changes to a royal fanfare. The dancing on the floor stops, and heads slowly turn to face the rear balcony. This section of the balcony houses a small podium and two guards on either side. The fanfare ends just as Alexander approaches the podium. The crowd breaks into respectful applause, but he holds his hands out for silence, which soon follows.
“Greetings, one and all!” his voice booms across the hall. “Welcome to this, our two hundred and ninety-ninth Founders’ Day ball! On this day, we celebrate the founding of this great nation and toast the future of our -ahem- home!” A small, dry cough soon begins to show, and the aide brings over a bottle of water. The king silently accepts it and takes a quick swig before handing it back to the aide.
“It sounds like I could use something stronger to wet my whistle,” Alexander says with a wry smile. The remark relaxes the crowd and even draws laughter from a few guests. However, it doesn’t fool his aide, Jacoby Howell, or Edwin. Worried looks cross their faces and disappear just as quickly as a waiter brings a glass of champagne from the Alastair Vineyards.
“Ladies, gentlemen, and esteemed guests allow me to propose a toast,” Alexander says after taking a small sip from the glass.
“To another prosperous and safe year in the Kingdom of Maris—” As he raises his glass, the cough returns, this time with a vengeance. The cough becomes violent and audible, and the king doubles over as he tries to gasp for air.
The chancellor and aide rush to the king’s side and help the king to rise. Nearby guards open the door to a hallway and escort the group out of view of the crowd.
The conductor quickly strikes up the orchestra, and the dances resume.
    ---
The royal bedroom overlooks the stone entrance courtyard, but the view is quickly obscured as servants draw the curtains. The room is made of dark oak, velvet, and gold trimmings. The group gently sets the king on the bed. The coughing has subsided, but the damage is already done. A picture of health and political might has been reduced to a heap of bones because of a hacking cough.
After a few minutes, a physician enters the room. He wears attire appropriate to his office, but despite the modern age, he bears the round spectacles and the pocket watch of a bygone. An armband on his right arm bears a red cross, the symbol of a court physician. He patiently takes this king's vitals, assisting him when he coughs during a breathing exercise and then speaks with Jacoby and Edwin in the hallway.
“Is it poison?” Edwin asks, making his counterpart roll his eyes.
“If it were poison,” Jacoby states. “He would be dead by now. I’ve served with three different rulers, and poison works far too quickly.”
    “Well then what is-“
“It’s old age.” The physician replies. The calm response draws stares from the aide and the chancellor.
“Well, what can we do now?” Jacoby asks, glancing worriedly at the door.
“You can all relax,” The physician says. “He still has a few years left. However, I would think twice about letting him out in public. I understand he has a son, who is undergoing his conscription. Is he prepared to have him return to Bramsea and rule?”
“I don’t think he has a choice,” Edwin says as he furrows his brow. “The boy needs to learn how to do this job. I’ll have him draw up the orders.”
As he says this, he returns to the king's bedroom. The music can be heard faintly down the hall. Fittingly the tune is a slow and somber one. After a short time, Edwin returns with an envelope, which he gives to Jacoby.
“Jonathan is stationed at the 1st Mountain Division in Totford County,” Edwin whispers. “You can make it there and back before midnight if you take the trains.”
The aide nods and puts the envelope in his pocket as he quickly walks away from the group
Sometime later, the main gates of the palace open, and an electric car quietly speeds down the Kingsroad towards a private train depot.

The barracks room is hazy with cigarette smoke, and the air reeks of alcohol, despite the open window. Three men and a woman sit at a small card table, eyeing each other and the hands they’ve been dealt. After a few seconds, the men drop their cards.
“Fold,” they say in turn as the woman chuckles and collects the poker chips from the men.
“That’s, what, the tenth hand?” she grins. “You guys just give up now?”
“Yep,” One of the men says, slowly getting up and grabbing his beer. “That’s the last of my betting money anyways.”
“Oh, come on!” the woman chides, “Don’t you have a rare coin collection, Johnny?”
“Like hell, I’m giving it to you.” Jonathan grins as he hikes a thumb at a small safe under his bed.
The young man wobbles a bit from the influence, and his speech is slightly slurred. But no one can deny that he looks like their current king if the king was much younger and was wearing the uniform of The Royal Marisalian Army while working. The resemblance isn’t a coincidence. He is the Crown Prince, after all.
After grabbing another beer, he waddles over to the card table and clumsily sits down. He fumbles with the cards to shuffle them but pauses when he hears a knock on the door. One of the players rolls their eyes as he gets up to open the door.
“Atten-tion!” He shouts as their company commander and an aide from the palace enter. The occupants quickly drop everything and stand at attention. The captain waves the smoke away and holds his nose as he surveys the occupants.
“I’m here for Sergeant Jonathan Moore,” he says. “Where is he?”
“That’s me, sir,” Jonathan says as he steps forward. The captain motions for him to follow outside. In the clear air of the hallway, the sergeant recognizes the palace aide. Jacoby helped to raise him during his younger years. The fact that he was here now wasn’t a good sign.
Jacoby places the envelope in Jonathan’s hands. Jonathan opens it and reads the letter to himself.
    Dear Jonathan,
I have been told that I do not have much more time left in this world. Your presence is now required at Bramsea Palace, to continue ruling in my stead until my death.
Do not fear if you feel you are unprepared for the throne. All rulers are at some point, but you will be trained and taught by the best politicians and scholars that the nation can offer.
Therefore I, King Alexander Michael Moore IV, King of Marisalia, name you King Regent of The Realm. I confer upon you the titles, privileges, and services appropriate to your station and are, as a result of this, released from your period of conscription.
You are to return to the capital city of Bramsea and assume your duties immediately.
    Your loving father,
    Alexander
The words swim and dance on the page as he reads them. Both the alcohol and nervousness about his father are setting in.
“You’ll need to pack a bag,” the captain says. “We’ll ship the rest of your stuff to you later on.”
Jonathan nods, feeling numb as he packs a bag with some civilian clothes and other necessities. He’s silent as the gets in the car and then the train.
The train is a private one with specially designed cars. After boarding it, it sounds a lonely whistle blast and slowly pulls out of the depot. The second to last car is a sort of office, which Jonathan enters and sits behind the desk. On the desk is a red envelope, thick with papers. Emblazoned on the front is a crown, with the letters HMTK below it.
The work begins for His Majesty, The King.

    Timeline
    Jan. 1029 A.F.
The G.S. Bountiful Sea makes it's landing on what is now known as Founders' Docks. The Colony of Bramsea is established w/a population of 545. A hard winter strikes in the coming weeks, killing 50.
Supplies from the ship (including the ship itself) are used to make proper shelters and armaments for colony residents. Those who did not survive the voyage are given proper burials and funerals. A protected colony is established by the end of the month.
    Feb. 1029 A.F.
The first Marisalan legal document on record is drafted by Lord Edwin Brooks. This document, The Bramsea Charter, establishes the sovereignty of His Lordship as leader and protector of the colony and acknowledges the rights of The Faithful and The Proletariat. Fellow draftees include Fr. Petyr Willow, Winship Brooks, and Dr. Mathis Black. The document is ratified by the colony in a landslide vote of 495-0.
Lord Brooks establishes an exploration party to go west and further chart the land of their nation. Additional instructions state that they are to act as emissaries to other nations. The party contains roughly 50 people.
Daniel Lewis is born to Marcus and Sarah Lewis, becoming the first child born to colony residents.
    April 1029 A.F.
Word reaches Lord Brooks that the exploration party entered the nation of Tara and Cambray on accident. While unpunished, the interaction helped to establish a border between the two nations. Two lakes were also discovered, named Hope and Providence (Respectively). Five of the party members return with news of another established colony by the exploration party at Lake Providence, with the colony taking the same name.
    Aug. 1029 A.F.
The first crime in the country is committed. The murder of Lucy Potts of the Lake Providence Colony places both colonies under heavy political strain. At the time, The Bramsea Charter only provided laws for the colony of Bramsea and leaving Lord Brooks as the sole judiciary member. The crime resulted in the first trial in the country. The trial lasted for three days and the defendant, Caleb Potts was found guilty. As a result, The Bramsea Charter was amended to extend all legal authority to Lord Brooks, regardless of what colony or township the crime occurred in. This amendment set the stage for future political problems within the budding nation.
    Sept. 1029 A.F.
As the population between the two colonies increases, so does crime. To purge the criminals, Lord Brooks orders them and their families to be deported throughout the territory en masse. The intent is that the offenders would die off in the wild. This plan backfired with the creation of the Lake Hope, Brooks Folly, Crow’s Landing, and Winchester colonies. Despite the deportation, the colonies now fall under Lord Brooks by virtue of The Bramsea Charter, angering the newly formed colonies.
Lord Brook’s son, James Brooks marries Susan Hoff, officially establishing the first Lordly House in the nation.
Fr. Petyr Willow is named the Bishop of Bramsea by Lord Brooks. The Bramsea Charter is amended once again to give him parochial and religious authority over the colonies.
    Nov. 1029 A.F.
Several boats arrive, bringing new citizens, goods, and occupations to Bramsea and the budding nation. With the main colony itself almost full to bursting, there is no choice but to expand the colony. This decision destroys a portion of the farmland outside the colony but with ample food stores and help from Tara And Cambray, the colonies will survive the winter.
Lord Brooks makes several more amendments to The Bramsea Charter. Most notable changes are the following:
    ·         Officially designating the colony grouping as a nation. Named Marisala, after Brooks deceased wife (Marisa).
    ·         Appointing Colony Governors to serve in his name in all colonies.
    ·         Establishing Founder’s Day (In which the anniversary of the founding of Bramsea and the nation is celebrated annually on Jan. 5).
    ·         Creating an official currency (the Notro) and flag.
    ·         Allowing the purchase of Lord/Lady titles for a fee.
    ·         Establishes the creation of defensive lawyers, law courts, and prosecutors in all colonies.
    ·         The colonies are officially designated cities/towns.
Ironically, the governors had no jurisdiction in terms of the law and were expected to follow Lord Brooks laws and decisions.
    Dec. 1029 A.F.
Lord Brooks officially declares taxes on all perishable goods moving within the nation. This sparks protests from national farmers and forces Lord Brooks to create a moderately sized army. The army is quickly disbanded after the protesters scatter but has proved that the nation is vulnerable to civil war and has begun to expose political issues.
Brooks introduces a new method to pass laws in order to assuage angry political protestors. The process is simply introducing the law to the Marisala Bar and allow it to be voted on by a Governor. If a majority of the six governors approve, the law is passed. After approval from his inner council, Brooks introduces The Conscription Act as a test law. Briefly, all male Marisalan citizens between the ages of 18-25 must serve a minimum of two years in a hastily formed National Army. The law is approved with a vote of 5-2. Those with prior military service are called to serve as commanders and enlisted leaders.
The result is the creation of small forts and barracks outside the cities.
It should be noted that despite the governor’s votes, most Marisalan citizens were against the mandatory conscription.

    Jan. 1030 A.F.
The first Founder’s Day is celebrated across the nation.
Construction of The Cathedral of Our Lady of Great Help in Bramsea begins. Lord Brooks also orders construction to begin on his private residence (now known as Bramsea Palace).
    June 1030 A.F.
Susan Brooks, wife of The Honorable James Brooks, gives birth to twin sons. There are now five additional Lordly Houses established: House Kent of Lake Providence, House Deanbury of Brook’s Folly, House Chichester of Crow’s Landing, House Brough of Winchester, and House Cloddagh of Lake Hope.
Construction of The Cathedral of Our Lady of Great Help is complete and Bsp. Willow is installed as rector.
Lord Brooks approves the construction of various churches and temples across the nation. Brooks also approves of the construction of Bamney Religious Seminary and a small town around it. Citizens flock to the newly built town.
    July 1030 A.F.
Construction on Lord Brooks’ private residence is completed. The building is named Founder’s Landing.
    Nov. 1030 A.F.
Construction on Bamney Religious Seminary in the town of the same name is completed. The first class of seminarians is admitted later that month.
    Dec. 1030 A.F.
To decrease government debts, Lord Brooks institutes a flat sales tax of 7%.
Lord Brooks health begins to fail and his son, Hon. James Brooks, prepares to take his place.
Days before the new year, Bsp. Willow complains of displays of public drunkenness. Hon. Brooks then introduces the Alcohol Reduction Act. The introduction of the act sparks outrage from all cities and towns and thousands of citizens turn out in protest in front of the governor’s residences. The National Army is called in to hold back the crowds. Only minor injuries are reported, and the act fails to pass after 3 days of a tied vote of 3-3.
    Aug. 1031 A.F
Both Lord Edwin Brooks and Gov. George Hartman of Lake Providence die of natural causes. Hon. James Brooks inherits his father’s title and installs Prosecuting Attorney James Banks as Lake Providence Governor.
Lord James Brooks also inherits all administrative and executive actions of his father through The Bramsea Charter.

MarisalaTriumvirate got a reaction from Zoran in [Factbook] The History of Marisala: Book I (Fifth Edition)
Biography for H.M. King Alexander IV
    Name: Alexander Steven Moore
    Lordly House: Moore
    DOB: June 2nd, 1365

    Reign: October 15th, 1395 - Present
Bio: Alexander Moore was born in Kensington Hospital in Brook's Folly, Marisalia. Much of Alexander's formative years are unknown, but he rose to national prominence after his marriage to Lady Louisa Kent in 1386.
In June of 1395, Lady Kent gave birth to Jonathan Moore. Alexander succeeded his mother (Queen Angelika II) in October, 1395, taking the regnal name Alexander IV.
The marriage appeared to be perfect until November 1395, when a newspaper ran a photo of His Majesty with another woman (The photo had been taken a month before his coronation). While the paper redacted the article almost immediately, the damage had already been done. Alexander had fallen in love with a commoner, Sarah Dawn, causing a scandal within Marisalian high society. Religious leaders reluctantly approved a divorce from Lady Kent and permitted Alexander to marry Sarah, who took the regnal name Queen Marie IV. The marriage formally took place in December 1395 and Lady Kent was forced to return to Lake Providence. Lady Kent's son, Jonathan Moore, remained in the custody of his father as part of the divorce settlement.
In a public interview with the Marisalia News Corporation, His Majesty stated that the marriage between himself and Lady Kent was forced. While exact reasons were not given, records show that there was a form of financial instability within House Kent.
On November 28th 1396, Queen Marie gave birth to Alexander Moore II. After Queen Marie IV's death in 1410, Alexander remained a bachelor into the present day.
In early 1418, Alexander began to show signs of a disease that had swept through the kingdom in the early 1300's. During the traditional welcome speech at the 299th Founders Day Ball, Alexander fell to violent coughing fits and had to be escorted to his private chambers. Personal physicians at first declared this to be signs of old age and permitted the king to continue his personal rule. In June that same year, a second physician diagnosed him with Thresh Variant I, a genetic variant of a flu like disease from the past century. Without proper treatment and constant medical attention, Alexander would be dead within a year.
Days after being confined to bed rest, officially named his oldest son, Jonathan, King Regent of Marisalia.
Currently, King Alexander IV has not made any more public appearances or statements and as of today, no updates have been given on Alexander IV's health.

The Gryphonian Alliance (abbreviated GA) is a small country on the continent of Aura to the west of Saint Mark. Its capital city is Plasmadius Prime (population ------ ).
    Population: -----
    Land Area: 94,942 mi^2/245,804 km^2
    Gross Domestic Product: ----
    Currency: the crius, symbol χ

    Geography and Climate
The coastal region of the Gryphonian Alliance enjoys a hot, humid, tropical climate, with frequent rainstorms and summer hurricanes coming up from the Yatasail Sea. Going further inland, the country is dominated by a more temperate region of grassy plains.
The country contains three islands in the Sea of Serenity, named Suytu Seimya, Luchang, and Samhade, in order from largest to smallest. There is one major lake in the country's interior, Contirme Lake, which sits just above the Basag'n Peninsula jutting out into the sea. Taking a deeper look at the country's geography, it is known that there are two major tectonic plates that shuffle past each other under the seas just off the coast of Samhade and continue along the southern border of GA waters, spawning occasional earthquakes and tsunamis that can cause problems for the coastal population. PART 8: CONFINEMENT
Zaganos Pasha walked hastily down the one of the hundreds of corridors in 'The Great Palace of Constantinople'. Labelled as the official residence of Sultan Mehmed, Zaganos Pasha and Çandarlı Halil Pasha had arranged a meeting between them and Mehmed's court to decide what they were going to do. Zaganos Pasha was tailed by  four of Lanorth's elite soldiers - the Janissaries. Known as Lanorth's elite shock troops, or sometimes special forces, they were the most well-organised, best trained and most professional fighting force in all of the country. They were not dressed in their ceremonial, antiquated crimson robes, instead dressed in urban combat uniforms. So, grey cargo trousers, tan cargo trousers or jeans, with either black shirts or black t-shirts, with an olive green or tan combat vest. They had a holster wrapped around their dominant legs, with knee pads, tactical combat belts, etc. They wore either a tan/grey/black baseball cap, or a beret, or no hat at all.
They walked hastily, with the black robes of Zaganos flapping due to the haste of his pace, with the Janissaries behind him in their combat uniforms, with their usual an off-white turban on their head. Zaganos had a black turban, however it was not important. They turned left, then right, bursting into the throne room. The double doors were opened for them. Zaganos gripped the handle of his sword, his arms moving now, with more enthusiasm, almost like a prolonged swing to seem more intimidating.
Zaganos approached Halil. Halil walked slowly up, gripping both what would be the lapels on his black, long coat, made of a lighter fur, with the fur being more noticeable on the lapel, as they were a dark black and were quite fuzzy. Halil stopped in-front of Zaganos, who stood up to the man with the once black beard, however due to his age, was turning to a boring grey, with tints of black still showing through. The man's greying hair was hidden beneath a tightly wrapped turban, matching the colour of his coat.
Zaganos was a bit taller than Halil. Zaganos was about six foot, however Halil was about five foot eight. Not much, however Zaganos was confident that he was the dominant figure.
    "Zaganos Pasha." Said Halil.
"You dog." Said Zaganos. Zaganos gestured with his left hand to the Janissaries behind him, who shut the double doors of the throne room. Two of the four stepped forward, as the other two stood walked forward, standing in a wedge formation behind Zaganos. Halil stepped back. Halil put his hand in his pocket and the two Janissaries jolted upright. They pointed their assault rifles, which were the best in the country and similar to the HK416 in the real world, right at the head of Halil Pasha. The Janissaries were loyal to Zaganos Pasha and Sultan Mehmed and knew that Halil Pasha would be executed for his actions - sooner or later.
Halil Pasha stared at the muzzles and seemed scared. He took out his hand, spreading out his hands to show he was not holding anything. Halil Pasha looked down and Zaganos continued looking furious. He turned to one of the Janissaries. Halil Pasha turned around and Zaganos nodded. The Janissary walked forward, whipping off handcuffs from his tactical combat belt. He grabbed Halil Pasha and slapped the handcuffs on his wrists.
"On behalf of Sultan Mehmed, you, Çandarlı Halil Pasha, are under arrest until further notice." With these words, Halil Pasha whipped around, however the Janissary clenched his fist and hit him violently across the jaw. A distinctive crack was heard, which was significantly loud, sending Halil Pasha to the floor. Halil Pasha's jaw was now dislocated and out of place, nearly hanging off sideways. The Janissary stared at the old man on the floor, who was now holding his jaw in pain.
"Now I can do much worse, Pasha." Said the Janissary. "Or you can come with us, peacefully and without hesitation." The Grand Vizier was unable to talk, however seemed to nod. He was yanked off of the floor by the two Janissaries, before he was dragged away, Zaganos tailing the two men closely. The double doors were opened for them and Zaganos followed the first two and Halil out, before the other two followed on behind.
They walked to the exit of the palace, where outside, two black, armoured cars were outside, alongside four police bikes and officers to drive them. Halil Pasha was shoved into the back car and Zaganos got into the front one. The engines of the cars started and the sirens of the bikes were activated. The palace gates were opened and the convoy left the area. The streets were completely empty. There was not one car to be seen. This was what order and obedience looked like. The people of Constantinople, or this specific area of the city, stayed home or inside of shops, restaurants, whichever, so the convoy could get through without hassle.
The car drove through the streets at about 60mph. It arrived, about 20 minutes later, at a small army base. Inside, was a cell guarded by military police, where he would be placed in solitary confinement, isolated from the world, as he was seen as 'too unfit and too unstable to have contact with others'. He was ousted from his position upon arrival, with the country currently having no Grand Vizier until Mehmed could return and appoint one. So, until that time, a provisional court was formed, with Zaganos Pasha at the head, effectively becoming Grand Vizier until the return of the Sultan.
The military police dragged the man out of the car and into the building, where he was thrown into a small and slightly tight black room with a dim light providing the only light source for the whole time. 24/7, 365 days a year, it remained on. The man received treatment from on-site doctors and medics. However, all they did was snap his jaw back into place, gave him an ice pack and a tub of plain yogurt to ease the pain, somewhat, if it even could, or to provide something he did not have to chew.
Zaganos Pasha contacted Mehmed and alerted him of the recent developments. Mehmed was pleased that he had be contained and assured Zaganos he would be back soon. Mehmed, however was still in Zoran, on his own, apart from his servant, in a fancy hotel. Zaganos did hope he would be back soon, however, as he wanted this mess sorted out. And Zaganos knew Mehmed had the ability to do so.
However, back in solitary confinement, Halil Pasha knew his life was coming to an end. He had taken a gamble and it had not payed off. He wanted to do something to entertain himself. But there was no books, no television, no electronics, no nothing. Just a toilet, sink and a wooden bed with a blanket and thin pillow. Halil lay down on the wooden, uncomfortable bed, which gave him a splinter and he closed his eyes, attempting to get some sleep.
