  1. It reminds me of that offshoot from The Meritocracy - ACCEL I believe it was called.
  2. First, you did not speak out against the dissolution of the previous government within my department, so what has changed? Just curious. Second, as was illustrated when Darkesia was Delegate, yes, I can move to dissolve a government that is not functioning so long as I am entrusted with that role by the sitting Delegate. Even with Punk Daddy's return from vacation, this was a dead place. He can't do it alone. No one can. That said, as I mentioned earlier, it is the right of the people of the West to form whatever government that they wish, but in order to be the 'official' regional government it must be endorsed by the sitting Delegate. The sitting Delegate no longer endorses the Voice. That is not because of anything anyone said or did, but because no one said or did anything. It is the Delegate's right to ignore the Voice or disavow its existence. Since it is 'Legislative RP', as was defined under the previous administration and which had your support as a then-Guardian, it is within my right to follow the Delegate's wishes and dissolve it in order to make room for something different. If the Delegate decided today to reverse that decision, it would be my obligation to carry out such a directive. I am only doing that which the Delegate has empowered and requested me to do. The conspiracy theorists here really need to take a step back (for a change) and realize that they are simply speaking out of their collective asses.
  3. Indeed. I offered my services independent of any political wrangling that might be going on behind closed doors as I have the technical know-how and the experience on this very forum.
  4. I was an admin here in the past and can help out if you need it.
  5. TWP has been a strong ally to The Pacific for a long time, even during their screw-ups. I seriously doubt Pierconium would risk that relationship by seeking to undermine the sitting Delegate or the nations here. Your implication that he would seek to do so illustrates a lack of knowledge on how he does things. As far as I am aware, Pierconium isn't big on sacrificing the NPO's position for minimal gain. If TWP moved to more of a NPO-like system, you are correct, I believe Pierconium would be pleased. But I do not think he would push for it directly.
  6. I would like to clarify, since it has been brought up here and possibly elsewhere, that any shift in governing policy within TWP has not originated with myself or any affiliations elsewhere. I did, at the Delegate's request, share a general information message from Pierconium outlining how The Pacific government is structured. I do not, under any circumstances, want this region to believe any influence is being exerted on the Delegate. The Delegate is fully competent and capable of making decisions on his own. That said, I would also like to clarify that The Treehugger Imprisoning State of That Called the Vlagh, is a citizen of the West Pacific and has been so for a very long time. I do find some of the implications that are being made here and supposedly in private that I somehow represent an 'outside' influence within the region insulting. Anyone that has issue with me should speak with me about it directly.
  7. The offsite government of TWP is legislative RP, which is my department. This was correct the last time the government was dissolved and I carried out a convention which resulted in the Voice. If the forum administration wishes to disregard the wishes of the regional Delegate, that is not my call, I am simply carrying out the request of the Delegate.
  8. To clarify, the Delegate did not dissolve the Union. I did. The entire construct of the offsite government rests within my department. This line of reasoning and action has precedent and has been carried out before. I will be consulting with the Delegate, as I did last time this took place, to determine if we will hold a convention to establish a new offsite 'official' government. It is my understanding that any nation or group of nations are free to form whatever competing government that they wish within TWP, but only the government supported by the sitting Delegate is considered the 'official' one and all others would be either RP communities or, depending upon the tone, counter-governments. The sitting Delegate of TWP has the right to recognize the offsite government, or not.
  9. Not technically, but I am. And I serve at the discretion of the Delegate, who made the request.
  10. Please remove all Deputy Advocate maskings and the masking for the current Advocate. The Voice has been dissolved.
  11. Because of ongoing stagnation within the Voice and general inactive overall within the off-site government, I have decided, with the support of the Delegate, to dissolve the Charter and Voice of the West Pacific Union effective immediately. This is not up for negotiation. All officers of the Voice are hereby removed from position and authority under direct orders of the sitting Delegate.
  12. Sorry for the gravedig but is the topic header screwy for anyone else?
  13. You are correct, this isn't a discussion for the admin request thread, but my position as MoLRP is outside of the Voice and not part of the Charter. The office is named such because the Voice and all forum-based governmental constructs are 'Legislative RP' and reside within my Ministry. My position exists at the whim and discretion of the Delegate, not the Voice.
  14. While I appreciate the new tag. I would like my primary position to remain as Minister of Legislative RP, as that is derived from Delegate appointment and has not (at least unless I have missed a memo) been revoked. Thanks.
  15. Another request on top of the others above (sorry). I already have mod powers over most of the Government forum and subforae but I do not have access to the Intel forum and subs. If that could be granted I can get to work reorganising it. Thanks.
  16. As there is no qualification for quorum or abstentions within the Charter, they were not considered.
  17. Please mask Elegarth as Advocate of the West Pacific Union. Thank you.
