NLH continues its Green Crusade

New Larxia- In latest news, NLH has made a series of investments in Fhaengshian startup iGerator, acquiring 40% stake in the company at the company valuation of $40M.
Further they made investments worth $150M in Aiarn Chemicals and acquired 20% stake in the company, following which, they received some flak in Fhaengshia. This was because they invested in a company that was responsible for  fish deaths in the Trhein Bay.
As the New Larxia Stock Exchange and Fhaendhaw Stock Exchange went in a frenzy, NLH CEO Neal Hardy made a statement to clear the air. He stated NLH's position as "to reduce the effects of industries on the environment" and their desire to "have a powerful position in the country to implement changes". 
Of course it's nothing new to us Larxians. NLH has always been working in accordance to His Royal Highness, King Maddy IV's vision of a strong economy alongside a thriving nature.
NLH has held a diversified portfolio in Larxia and they have started working on going international and making an impact internationally.
We are really lucky to have a leader with a vision to progress economy, but not at the dear cost of our environment.

The Government of Larxia has confirmed that corporate giants worth billions, like NLH, Faltech, LNGC, LXS Aviation and Falcon Industries have shown interest in investing in the industries of Min-Su.
As a trade partner of Min-Su, Larxia would like to invite the nations of the World to attend the Expo as it could translate to stronger economies.
The complete list of companies visiting Min-Su is not yet confirmed but we can be assured that it will result in the further enrichment of our nation.

“Good Morning Zoran! My name is Winotlisa Austenaco! A-”
“Hey! I thought you were fired! In fact, aren’t you supposed to be in prison in Saint-Josalyn!? How did you even get here!? Security!” interrupted someone from off screen. Winolisa frowned, dropped the microphone and yelled,
“No! I am not going back there! You will never take me alive!” Winolisa starts running and two security guards follow behind him in pursuit.
“Now where is Quiyakaso Gohalitsve?” asked someone offscreen. The sound of muffled yelling can be heard off screen and the cameraman turns around with the camera to show a hogtied Quiyakaso with duct tape over his mouth moving like a caterpillar out of the news van.

Zoranian Times live intro plays again and this time the proper reporter, Quiyakaso Gohalitsve, is on camera.
“We apologize for all that folks! Good morning Zoran! My name is Quiyakaso Gohalitsve and we are here live at the Dilber International Airport to show our national Rugby team arrive for the second annual Rugby tournament! We were not present in the first tournament but this time we are able to participate! After our team’s victory at the Olympics against the incredibly talented Fujansk team, our team has been practicing a lot to improve to ensure our victory in this event! Despite the turmoil in our country, we here at the Zoranian Times hope we can all come to cheer our team to victory in the Rugby World Cup.”

“Oh! It seems our team’s plane has landed now, let’s go see them exit the plane!” Quiyakaso and the cameraman walk over to the team’s plane and watch the plane door open and the steps lower to the ground. The team is seen in their black, purple, and red jerseys walking down the steps of the plane carrying their carryon bags.

 
“There they are folks! Our skilled rugby players are ready to head out and play in the World Cup! Th-” He was interrupted when the cargo hold door popped open and Zoranian refugees began pouring out of the cargo hold. Quiyakaso just stood there watching with his mouth agape. After all the refugees are out of the cargo hold, you could see that there were approximately 1,000 refugees that were in the cargo hold.
“Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Well it appears that are approximately a thousand-wait how is that even possible? How did a thousand refugees fit in the cargo hold and how did the plane manage to make the journey with all that extra weight!? In fact, how did they get into the cargo hold undetected!? How are all those refugees still alive!?”
“Stay on topic Quiyakaso!” yelled someone off screen. Quiyakaso facepalmed and sighed before continuing,
“Right, well there are approximately 1,000 refugees that fled the turmoil in Zoran by stowing away in the cargo hold of our national rugby team's plane. We will see you at the parade that the NACZ had arranged later today before the games begin today. I am Quiyakaso Gohalitsve, why do weird things like this keep happening to me whenever I report, and I will see you all later today!”

Trade Agreement between Larxia and Min-Su

New Larxia- An envoy of Larxian delegates were sent by His Royal Highness, King Maddy IV, to Qiye City to hold talks with the friendly nation of Min-Su. 
The idea behind holding the talks was to negotiate a trade deal with an old friend of Larxia, which would lead to an age of prosperity in both the nations.
The relations between these two nations have proven to be the epitome of international cooperation as the negotiations took less than a day and the treaty was signed by both the Monarchs immediately.
It has pleased the populace of Larxia as we ventured out to see the public opinion of these deal.
"It's great to see His Highness' working towards global partnership and working towards gaining an important place in International Politics. It will be a give a great economic boost to an already strong economy" said an Economic Specialist. 
We talked to a spokesperson of Falcon Industries, the largest Arms Manufacturing company in Larxia and one of the top in the world, a semi-state ownership company. He said,"This deal is really great for us. This deal has opened up a market for us that will bring millions of dollars to Larxia and also increase the manufacturing. We will also be launching a new missile (not literally) in the next expo, so countries, keep your eyes on the exhibit."
We also talked to a Government official. Although he didn't have the time to give a complete, he gave a brief statement in which he said that His Highness', King Maddy IV has been sending Diplomats and Delegates to countries around the World in order to draft deals that would benefit the economic standing of Larxia in the World.
In short the Lar-Min Economic Corridor has had a positive reply from the populace and Economic Moguls have predicted a prosperous time ahead.

Popular referendum to be held on "SD-Works" after concessions from President Goldberg
Today, the National Senate of Santos-Dominius passed an initiative to hold a nationwide referendum concerning "SD-Works", the employment program passed by centrist President Paul Goldberg and his Democratic Congress Party(DCB). General strikes are very much continuing throughout the country with workers broadly outraged at the program, which would drastically cut back social security programs, social safety nets and poverty welfare as well as greatly curb the influence and power of all labour unions and organisations of similar nature. The referendum, if passed, would strike down "SD-Works" and repeal it entirely, setting back months of political campaigning and dealing by Goldberg and his staunch allies.
After the passage of the initiative, cheers erupted throughout the city of Louisann, capital of the canton of Lemandie. The city was the location of the first general strike(which galvanised other cities and cantons) and remains the location of the biggest strike throughout the nation, with over 500,000 people, including workers and all sorts of citizens, now on the streets there. The Santo-Dominian left had won a stunning political victory, and it would win a bigger prize if the referendum passes. A scenario where "SD-Works" gets struck down would also mean great political harm for President Goldberg as the program is his signature legislative proposal and the key to realise his most ambitious campaign promise: achieving 100% employment.
The Country Liberal Party(CLP), the DCB's centre-left major counterpart, celebrated the passage. Senator Eliot Klein(SN), CLP leader and former President, said: "The passage of this initiative is a great victory for the people of Santos-Dominius. The message is clear: the populace of this Federal Republic is tired with the shenanigans and incompetence of President Goldberg. He and his party must either repeal 'SD-Works' with a bill in the National Senate or face utter defeat when the referendum passes and the people vote to strike that destructive program down. We will not rest until the President backs down."
Back in the national capital of Friberne, things were very tense. At the Fribernese Fortress, home to the presidential office and residence, President Goldberg held a press conference where he lashed out at the CLP and Sen. Klein's comments. "What they are trying is heinous. What they are doing is unacceptable," Goldberg said. "They are eradicating progress. They are destroying meaningful, needed and rightful reform. What the Country Liberals are doing is kill employment dead in its tracks. The DCB, under my leadership, will not let those crooks get away from it. We must protect 'SD-Works' in the upcoming referendum and teach those obstructive and counterproductive crooks a well-deserved lesson and some more!"
The passage of the initiative to hold the referendum appeased many furious workers: according to a new poll, 82% of interviewed workers on strike said that they would stop striking and vote in the referendum. However, it couldn't please everyone, with the far-left Santo-Dominian Communist Phalanx calling the referendum "another political stunt that will achieve nothing". SDCP leader Sen. Jan Lovings(SN) spoke to reporters outside his rural home in the canton of St. Arlaine, saying that "a complete and total overthrowing of the current government is necessary" and that "President Goldberg must be removed from power by any means necessary". Though this drew ire from the President himself, who said that these comments were "a direct, terrorist and insidious threat", many have sympathised with Sen. Lovings and the SDCP.
With "SD-Works" on the line in the upcoming referendum, it remains to be seen whether the program, and the President who champions it, will be struck down.

Fhaendhaw, FH. Following yesterday’s story on New Larxia Holdings’ (NLH) investment choices, ‘the Spectator’ reached out to CEO Neal Hardy for an interview to help clean the air. Hardy stated NLH’s position as “to reduce the effects of industries on the environment” and their desire to “have a powerful position in the company to implement changes.” NLH holds a very diversified portfolio within Larxia, and they have quite the history as an activist investor, notably with the education sector.
When asked to clarify questions of ownership of NLH, Hardy replied “New Larxia Holdings is jointly owned by King Maddy IV in his private capacity, and by the government.” Given the active role the King is known for, Fhaengshians may be asking themselves if they agree with this direction of foreign investment in private industry. The King’s stated vision is “That economy and environment should go hand in hand” and this has been the case within Larxia.
In related news cabinet has ordered the reserve bank to purchase foreign currency to limit the effect of recent foreign investment increasing the value of the szchequinn. When asked if this amounted to currency manipulation, Senior Councillor Fhiabert Aneihl replied “Of course not, Cabinet wants what is best for the nation and nettlesome outfits like ‘the Spectator’ often can’t see the forest for the trees.” SC Aneihl, as most would know chairs Telefive, a rival media company that no longer physically prints. Perhaps paperless patricians can’t perceive trees at all.

RECOGNIZING the benefits to be derived by both countries from a closer technical cooperation,
HAVE AGREED upon the following:
ARTICLE Ⅰ
1. The Contracting Parties shall endeavor to cooperate and support each other, 
within the limits of their possibilities, in economic and in the technical fields mentioned in Article 2 of the
present Agreement. Such cooperation shall take place on a basis of equal partnership.
2. Arrangements regarding individual projects shall be concluded
on the basis and within the framework of the present Agreement.

ARTICLE Ⅱ
The arrangements referred to in paragraph 2 of Article I of the
present Agreement shall provide for the Government of the Democratic Republic of Larxia 
to assist the Government of The Holy Empire of Min-Su:
1. In the establishment of technical training and demonstration
centers by dispatching Larxian military technicians and become the foreign supplier of the Minsun military;
2. By dispatching Larxian experts and/or consultants for specific
projects.
3. Opening the borders between the contracting parties not limited to visa-free travel and the establishment of
an official embassy, consul, and diplomatic relations.  

ARTICLE Ⅲ
On the basis of arrangements concluded under paragraph 2 of Article I of the present Agreement, the Government of the Democratic Republic of Larxia shall further endeavor to assist the Government of 
The Holy Empire of Min-Su:
1. By opening its market to Minsun companies, in the fields of food processing and beverages.
2. By promoting the advanced agricultural and aquaculture education of Philippine
specialists in the Democratic Republic of Larxia.

ARTICLE Ⅳ
The Government of The Holy Empire of Min-Su shall:
1. At its own expense provide as necessary land and buildings including appurtenances for the individual 
BPO projects in Min-Su.
2. Bear the costs of operation and maintenance for the individual projects, including the costs of 
equipment and supplies required.

3. Provide at its own expense indigenous technical and auxiliary
staffs required for the individual projects as well as interpreters;
4. Make appropriate arrangements to ensure that, after a reasonable lapse of time, the technicians 
from the Democratic Republic of Larxia can be succeeded by suitable Minsun technicians;
5. Bear the costs of round-trip air transportation fare for the
experts and technicians from the Democratic Republic of Larxia between New Larxia and Qiye City.
6. Provide local transportation for the experts and technicians
from the Democratic Republic of Larxia and bear the costs of operation and maintenance thereof.
7. Open its door for tourism and allow visa-free travel for Larxians.
8. Pass an imperial decree allowing for special non-fiscal incentives and income tax holidays valid for three years to Larxian companies and investments.
9. Allow monetary usage of the Larxian Dollar alongside the Minsun Yuan, to allow the 
government to reduce the volatility of its exports.

Details of the items contained in the preceding paragraphs and/
or of other items shall be settled between the Parties by means
of the arrangements referred to in paragraph 2 of Article I of
the present Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the respective representatives, duly authorized for the purpose, 
have signed the present Agreement.

8. Pass an imperial decree allowing for special non-fiscal incentives and income tax holidays valid for three years to Larxian companies and investments.
9. Allow monetary usage of the Larxian Dollar alongside the Minsun Yuan, to allow the 
government to reduce the volatility of its exports.

Details of the items contained in the preceding paragraphs and/
or of other items shall be settled between the Parties by means
of the arrangements referred to in paragraph 2 of Article I of
the present Agreement.

Min-Su (Minsunese:ミンスの聖なる帝国) is a small sovereign state in Aura, covering the eastern-half of Lavender Island. Eriya is the sacred capital of the country. Eribi is the largest city, and Nanbu is the most populous city; other notable cities are Wuzhen, Erifi, and Dafeng.
Min-Su is one of the least-populated-countries in the world. About one-third of the country's terrain is mountainous, with its population of 6.6 million concentrated on the coastal plains. Min-Su covers 84,132 km² is divided into eight traditional provinces. The Greater Eriya Metro is the most populous metropolitan area in Min-Su, with more than 2.82 million residents. 
After centuries of absolute monarchical rule, Sacred Emperor Kang, the People's emperor, drafted the 1330 Imperial State Constitution allowing democracy to flourish under imperial rule. In the 1330 constitution, Min-Su maintains a unitary parliamentary semi-constitutional monarchy with a bicameral legislature, the Noble State Congress.
Min-Su is a developing country with a national GDP MU¥ 430 billion, led by Agriculture, Tourism, Electronics, and Shipbuilding. It has a GDP per capita of MU¥ 66,153.85.
The country’s namesake is the ancient Gaoist and present ruling-clan, the Min-Su (ミンス). The country is the only predominant Gaoist country in the world.

"Why, Your Highness, do I need to call him?"
"We have had great relations with the Ani'-Wah' house in the past. It is in our best interest that the Monarchists win this power struggle in Zoran."
"So you need your brother for?"
" 'You're my' advisor for the sake of the Lord. Sending him to talk with their general will show our support and earn their trust, because without trust, wars like these can never be won."
"I'll ask him to come here as soon as possible."
"Fly him here if you have to. He should be off to Zoran to meet the general as late as tomorrow. I want my best agents dispatched to Zoran to start looking for Atsil. In the meantime we'll co-ordinate with Saint Mark in this effort."
Jamie rushed off into the halls of the palace, simultaneously calling Prince Dominic.

11:00 AM Over Time
“Adsila Ani’-Wah’ under orders of the Grand Defense Council you are under arrest for treason!” yelled a soldier from the other side of the door. Adsila looked at the door in fear as the thought of being put in a prison cell crossed her mind.
I didn’t ask for this! I don’t want to be queen! I wasn’t part of any of this!
She thought to herself. The soldier banged on the door again,
“Adsila Ani’-Wah’ if you do not open the door this instant we will be forced to use force.” yelled the soldier. Adsila could hear the soldiers planting charges on her door. She just stood there, paralyzed with fear.
Great Spirit please help me!
“Hey what’s the deal here? Don’t you guys think that ballistic breaching is a bit much for a normal apartment door?” said a muffled and unrecognizable voice. The sound of gunfire followed along with the sound of bodies hitting the floor, people being grappled, and a...wilhelm scream? Adsila leaned against her wall and slid down to the ground out of fear. Then there was silence and no sound was outside...until there was a slight click heard from the door followed by another click and a third click. After the third click the door unlocked and the door opened to reveal a man in a black reflective helmet mask in some strange black armor. Behind him were the unconscious bodies of six Zoranian soldiers and the man looked completely unharmed. He walked into her apartment casually as if nothing happened and looked at Adsila.
“Sorry about that, hope they didn’t cause you too much trouble.” said the man. Adsila could tell that the man’s voice was modulated as it sounded too deep for it to be natural.
“Who are you?” asked Adsila. The man’s body language shifted to give the idea that he was insulted,
“How can you not know who I am?! I am the one and only CGZ and I am here to save your hide from the idiots in the GSC, the fat cats in their towers of false power, the fanatics that use the Great Spirit’s name for their own desires, and from the monarchists that are the closest thing you have to a fan club. Look I am not on any side of this war but seeing as you are an enemy to three of the four sides and a potential pawn for the fourth and that just makes you a target. Now I am offering you the chance to come with me and hide until the war ends. Just going to say it now, I am probably your only hope kid.” CGZ offered his hand to Adsila. Adsila thought about her situation for a minute, what he said was realistic as without her one side in the war effort would fall into divisions over who to make into a monarch and so she would become a target by the two other sides. Also she already is considered a traitor by the GSC so it looks like she has no other choice. She takes the legendary thief’s hand and is pulled to her feet.
“Now before I take you with me I am going to have to blindfold you.” He says, taking out a black blindfold, “While I want to help you I can’t trust you with the location of my secret hideout. So if you could put that on it would make my job ten times easier.” Adsila sighs and begrudgingly puts it on. The thief then grabbed her hand and began to lead her out of the apartment building, through the conflict filled streets and into what she can assume to be a car. She was buckled into her seat with help from CGZ before he accelerated causing her to be pushed back into her seat.
“When did my life get so complicated?” she said out loud without even realizing it,
“Probably when your father died. Just stating the obvious here.” answered CGZ.
As they sped down the streets they could hear the sounds of gunfire and explosions. While she could not see, Adsila already imagined what must be going on. A few bullets even hit the car but they didn’t do any damage to the vehicle due to how armored it must be.
“Jeeves play My Mix!” said CGZ and a posh sounding voice answered,
“Right away sir.” A drum solo began to play from the speakers of the car and classic rock filled Adsila’s ears.
“How are you so calm during all of this?! People are literally dying around us!” Adsila says trying to yell over the classic rock music,
“Look it isn’t that I don’t care but it's the fact that I have to worry about getting you to safety without drawing too much attention to myself by using secret tunnels that I have all around the country. The thing is that the closest entrance to one of these tunnels is in the middle of one of the conflict zones. It is going to keep a level head when driving anyways.” says CGZ as he manages to swerve around a very obviously placed landmine that was set in the middle of the road.
“Damn that was a famous Dalimbari mine! How much funding do these private militaries have!? Anyways, as you can-oh wait you can’t see, well if you could see you would understand why I am having to be so calm while driving. If I wasn’t calm then we wouldn’t survive so if you would be so kind try not to interrupt the music.” Adsila didn’t know what to say about this.
