Hello there, newbie here.

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I'm Silentium, and I just created the country Hiber on Nationstates (although I don't know if this is the best place to state this).

Well, since I've started in The West Pacific, please tell me about the current state of the region (if this is the right area to ask).

Allow me, as my first act as Interior Minister, welcome you to The West Pacific!

This is as good a place as any to ask; The West Pacific currently has 4'480 nations, the fifth most in the World, and our regional power rating is extremely high. The West Pacific is currently transitioning to a new Government, The Landstraad, with Delegate Designee WestWind at the helm.

As this we are transitioning to a Government, this is the perfect time for new members to get involved on the forums. Have a look around and post if you find something interesting.

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask here or PM me.

The West Pacific was managed by former Delegate Yy4u and The Provisional Government, but we have not had a constitution or charter for quite some time. Now I am establishing the West Pacific Imperium. The most current information would be in these threads:

The West Pacific Imperium has formed after the events of this thread:

Hope that helps :tiphat:

Thanks, but I probably won't get too deeply involved in the affairs of TWP until I get situated with Nationstates first.  I will, however, keep an eye out and I may voice my opinion occasionally.

But otherwise, good luck with the Imperium.

Thread-jacks huh?

Actually, thread-jacks aren't foreign to me.

In this one community that I used to visit, many threads would be derailed almost immediately.

Fortunately, the derailment-struck area wasn't really a serious board/more casual and fun, so most people did it for laughs.  And indeed, in most occations, it was quiet funny.  :P

Hopefully the thread-jacks won't be too disruptive.
