The Eurasian Socialist Union, features a very respectable representation in the World Assembly and has one of the most active role-playing community. New ministries such the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Information have been added and under the management of Premier Latrovia for the very first time Ministerial re-allocation have been accepted. During the 11th cabinet's administration, there was much work completed in the region making the ESU one of the most important regions in the creation of INSTO (Interregional Nation States Treaty Organisation) ; the creation of a unique ESU Opportunities Portal, a program which can be assimilated to every region in NS and create a large net of opportunities for all residents, to partake in cultural and diplomatic cross-exchange experiences. Events such building a school for a region or working as an intern to small/large player-based businesses, test your political knowledge and skills or even win a trophy for your home region from cultural events such our very own EuroSong. Here in the ESU we believe in the potential of the people and we are glad to have opened a new window of opportunities with the West Pacific. It is my great privilege to state that, after precisely 2.6 years of existence, the Eurasian Socialist Union now has a fully functional Constitution! If anybody is at all interested in masses of somewhat technical legislature, the full document may be found here: https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=697031 It may be a bit of a headache to read as a whole piece, so the 5 parts of the Constitution may be found on our offsite forums, as each of the 5 topics that you will find links to here: http://w11.zetaboards.com/TESU/forum/4225553/ The Constitution itself prioritises a balance and separation of powers to the greatest extent possible, so that the role of the Parliament and/or Assembly of the Union is distinct from the role of our executive Cabinet, and the Judiciary of the Union. Additionally, the Constitution aims to promote a safe, positive environment with which members of the ESU may discuss all manner of things, with emphasis placed on the respectful discussion of alternate views (i.e. things we have had trouble with in the past). The festivities begin on the RMB, our forum and our Discord server on Friday, October 14th. Join us first thing in the morning for our Friday Karaoke tradition. The official celebration begins at 19:00 (USA EDT) with formal introductions, and will continue throughout Friday into Sunday. There will be games, music, an open chat party, amusing stories about The West Pacific and a panel discussion on the history of TWP. A highlight of the celebration will be a State of the Region address offered by Big Bad Badger at 20:00 (USA EDT) on Saturday. TWP will also hold joint military operations in recognition of the event. All nations or regions that would like to participate should contact our new Commander of TWPAF The West Pacific ANIME Force of Yuno owl. Feel free to join us for any or all of the celebration, as your schedule permits. Whenever you arrive, you may describe your entrance and announce yourself, if you wish.
