  1. (reverse psychology mode) About time too! (/reverse psychology mode)
  2. Chuck a sleeper in there and wait for the founder to (inevitably) CTE
  3. The WA Delegate does not have administrative powers.
  4. I tried to get into that, but they wouldn't let me in! Wasn't deemed one of the cognoscenti don't cha know
  5. Our duty is to bring the benefits of being part of the TWP family to the darkest corners of NS, yea even into the shadow kingdoms of the UCR's. A strong TWP is a peaceful TWP - a region where citizens can go about their daily business without fear of the cataclysms that have rocked the rest of NS. I would suggest that we explore the "theme" of an Imperial Feeder, perhaps concentrating on a culture of decadence and depravity, corruption and patronage rather than seeking to emulate the democracy of TNP, the Puritanism of the Pacific or the blatant Defenderism of TEP. As for encouraging new blood, let the cream rise to the top (as well as some of the scum perhaps) to make The West Pacific THE place for advancement and opportunity, a region where your destiny is determined by your ability, determination and strength of character - as Westwind has said, we can provide the tools and the support for whatever participants would like to try, or if not we will find them.
  6. Our alliances do need clarification for Operational purposes
  7. The operative word in that phrase is "estimated", and it is why I feel it is imperative that those involved in TWPAF need to be familiar with how to narrow down update times to fractions of seconds. To quote the Scouts "Be prepared"
  8. So, a confirmed Raider then? We might have a little job for you sunshine...........
  9. Peripheral Vision - Where the Monsters hide

    1. Vulcan Prime

      Vulcan Prime

      And outside your window.

    2. Consular

      Consular

      And under your bed.

  10. I think the "recall" was more a point of order (tinged with vendetta) than a genuine impeachment
  11. Politics, like nature, abhors a vacuum.....it does not necessarily follow that because there is no public machinations apparent that there is no intrigue going on behind the scenes.....and even if that is the case, TWP has enough experience, and clout, to project its agenda into the NS arena - do that and you will soon enough have others coming out to oppose you
  12. Eli - the (Thread) Terminator! Given the change in fortunes should this thread now be re-named "48 Members"?
  13. Careful, that sounds dangerously like sedition!
  14. And there's the argument for your Revolution idea, but unless you can truly remove those with overwhelming Influence then you will be essentially running things with their consent, and at any point have the rug pulled from under you. Alternatively, an aggressive policy of de-population of a feeder that has fallen victim to stagnation is another, probably less feasible, solution - if you could convince that many nations to abandon a feeder then the resulting UCR would be more than a match for any GCR or UCR and this discussion would be moot Even more radical would be to remove its feeder status.
  15. I am in total agreement with you on the triviality of some of the current activities, but sitting on the sidelines isn't going to change things.....what sort of activity would make the game interesting for you and you colleagues?
  16. ...or alternatively, decadent, complacent, staid, boring, unadventurous, senile......
  17. So, there are no competing factions in TWP, just a ruling elite with not one iota of competitiveness between them? Fascinating
  18. Looks like I picked the wrong day to quit drinking Absinthe & Brandy then!
  19. And the endo cap? Elections? You want to give control of a feeder to one person, with no checks and balances?
  20. It could be done seriously as long as the public presentation is concise - a simple top level document, with links to more detailed supporting documents would be easily digestible Additionally if any of the basic "rules" needed to be changed a modular approach would mean that only that rule would need to be amended, and not a complete re-write. Plus if you already have the previous constitutions you already have a reference point to start from
  21. So, enlighten me on the merits of residing in TWP
  22. Is there a TG that could be sent to newly spawned nations in the region to encourage them to stay & become part of The West Pacific? We may benefit from being a feeder but if we don't retain new talent.......
  23. Constitution Regional Assembly - Internal Legislation/WA discussion Town Hall (can we lock the Mayor in?) Roleplay?
  24. We could always sketch a rough outline and fill in the details as demand/usage grows
  25. So, you all know each other well then? Who should I watch out for?
