Ferguson, MO has been my pet tirade for several days now.

I'm assuming most people here are following or at least aware of the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri for the last several days. This was rich: You know something's gone wrong when Egypt warns our cops are too rough. Egypt calls for US restraint over Ferguson.

Like Westie we too had birds in our crass menagerie. Four to be exact (was it five?) Several dogs, rescue, stray, borrowed, or otherwise; countless goldfish; some lizards (anoles mostly), a couple frogs, and a snake. Only the hardiest of the big legs ever really stood a chance however, and our backyard was marked with Popsicle crosses. The dogs served faithfully and without cats. I miss them.

Right now, jet lag. But before that it was Curiosity and maybe even a little homesickness. You guys changed forums. I was at it for probably too long going crazy, thinking I'd lost my password (I probably had). How has everyone been? What's everyone been up to?
