The vernacular in Arracrania is Kartellano, which bears great resemblance to a mixture of Spanish grammar (with the exception of grammatical gender) and Georgian script. The lingua franca is English, which is used mostly in trade and communication with foreign entities. Both Kartellano and English are official languages of Arracrania.

National Artist Carlos Zaragoza Paints Plight of Rural Arracrania

CAJAL SANDS - It was primarily thought that the increase in crab population would benefit the rural aquaculture industry; but ever since last month, numbers have skyrocketed at an alarming rate. Not only do they disrupt the ecosystem by consuming underwater vegetation, but they have also been occupying most of the country's pristine beaches in swathes -  causing a steep drop in tourist arrivals.

Carlos Zaragoza, National Artist in Painting, has frequently sought the ocean for inspiration. Alas, him and his hometown are now being confronted by assaults daily. Not only do the crabs cause physical harm, but they also bring damages to fishing nets, ruining the livelihood of numerous fishermen. Carlos has since then decided to take action and spread awareness by creating a modern masterpiece, Guerra la Playa. It depicts a wounded man and his struggle in fending off the crab assault with a middling and bloody tree branch.

"This sight, despite the sheer outrageousness of it at first glance, is a reality that keeps on biting us where it hurts", says the illustrious artiste. "We need not only our beloved motherland to wake up to this, but also the international community at large. Without proper awareness of the matter, this scourge will spread to your sands, ravage your coasts, and seemingly dance to a beat while doing so. Every single one of us needs to step up and play our role, no matter how insignificant, in putting an end to this [redacted] travesty."

Since its completion, Guerra la Playa hangs in the prestigious Museo Éspiral - alongside his many other works - in hopes of raising both global awareness and the spirits of his fellow countrymen.

The Rogue Nation of Arracrania is situated in Eastern Polaris. The anarcho-capitalist federation is located at the crossroads of Polaris and Aura. It (as of writing) shares land borders with Tara & Cambray to the west and maritime boundaries with Imperial Shaustria and Wyndmonham to the east. It features many islands, of which 42 are uninhabited. Arracrania is considered to be one of the most important nations economically in the northern part of The West Pacific, as it controls the northeastern portion of the Mille-Mer - thus serving as the main passage from the Tethys Sea to the Crimson Sea and oversees all sea trade that involve passage through them. It has a rich tradition of seafaring, and from the late 1400s to the early 1500s housed one of the most feared pirates of the entire region - Diego Arréco - who is responsible for uniting most of the islands under Arracrania's modern borders and is considered the Father of the Federation. While Arracrania has mostly entirely moved on from its piracy roots, most of the nation's civilians are armed with at least one assault rifle and desire expansion of the nation's maritime claim. This hostility, along with it having nuclear missiles at its disposal and its massive neglect for the environment, has the nation as one of the most unattractive and inhospitable nations in the region. Arracrania's national animal is the sailor-mouthed parakeet, which is said to be able to speak at least 23 curse words a month after being born.

Just a newbie here looking to learn and interact more with this great region! I chose TWP since it has the best maps among the Pacific regions  I am a relatively big fan of anime (not so much of a manga fan though) and play some board games here and there (I frequent Board Game Arena a lot) - so if you're also into those things, we'll probably get along nicely!
