I approve. *** Eli is correct. Even the best of the so-called "democracies" are benevolent dictatorships ... until something doesn't go the way of the people at the top of the hierarchy. In the case of game-created regions, find that the government that is more honest about their dictatorial nature, provided they are benevolent, are more benevolent in practice than democracies.

I'm still impressed by that.

Honestly, I really like what TWP has going. We don't conform to other expectations and offer something distinctly West Pacifican to everyone who stops by here. I agree that it was a bit dead before WW's delegacy, but he has done a great job and I actually check our forums regularly now. I do wish I could help more, but I tend to be busy and ... well ... me. Hopefully I'll be able to get more involved here at a later time (though my outside obligations and loyalties have dissuaded me from pursuing anything serious).

I like it, but I can't help but feel like it needs a brief preface. I think it might be wise to stick something into the beginning that clarifies that the telegram is intended to help them get settled in TWP. Otherwise, it reads to me like a bunch of things that I'm not sure what to do with, and if I were a new player that might overwhelm me. My suggestion for the beginning would be as follows. I've also added a few other suggestions, but take them as you will.
