The ambassador corps thing is a terrible idea. While in charge of culture in Lazarus, you did an abysmal job at raising forum activity through RP. It never took off. What would you do to make it work this time. I proposed a very explicit modification to the legislature, outlined an entire military doctrine, and laid forth a vision on the community's use of this forum.

"While delegate"? Overall, I'm concerned that you've just said "I will prioritize x" and "here's problem y, we're not TNP or TEP" while offering no plan or demonstration that you actually know how to translate your vision into results. You want to revive the ambassador corps. Why? And how will you make that happen? You seem to be covering up a lack of substance with burrito-themed humor, and it shows. Furthermore, you don't really show a real understanding of the facts of GP in this. Do you really believe ambassadors are the most important part of our foreign affairs? It's 2015, and ambassadors are an institution that were needed in a long-since-past time when the NS world was larger and harder to navigate.

Opinion: Why We Need the Redditors by United RussoAsia What with the enormous influx of new nations from reddit and elsewhere and a bunch of negativity over the ones determined to cause trouble, I decided to assemble an small article on why we need the redditors. We can split the 4 million+ nations that nationstates has hosted into groups: -Those that make a nation and never sign in again -Those that sign in a couple times, then stop finding time for it and never come back -Those that are hell-bent on trying to make everyone miserable -Those that enjoy the game and make it a part of their day -Those that participate in the community There isn't much we can do about the first three groups. The second to last group might eventually join the last group however. The thing is, it's the last group is what makes this game a great game. Sadly, for every 500 or so nations, we probably only get 1 or 2 of the last group. With a larger group of incoming nations, hopefully we get more of the nations that contribute to the community. If we get enough of these nations, they will greatly increase the value of our community by providing staff for military and political positions, writers for papers, friendly faces for the RMB, and nations willing to better the experience of their peers and themselves however they can. Updates have a very specific style of writing and reading them over will help you get a feel for that style! Keep up the good work.

I feel like the title of Speaker should be changed to "Prime Minister and Speaker" or something if we're going to do this. It's weird for it to still be Speaker, what with its new purview.

Thanks! I think the length is good though. I generally strive for brevity with updates, since NS'ers have short attention spans and I don't write unless I'm read.

This debate is getting cloggy. I'd say start a new thread for that step of the process, Llamas. I think we're all confused at the moment.
