that was before I paid attention here. I believe wep was created July 2004

 

 

But I don't think I paid attention to regional goings on until the following January when Dilber invited me to tart up

I rarely ever did IRC

 

 

it so pissed everyone off.

 

 

all that yak fest stuff sets my OCD/ADD off in a way you can't imagine.

 

 

even the memory of Kandi's AIM 'conferences' makes me want to fill my standing Adderall prescription

I like IRC. But it causes me problems healthwise, so I don't frequent it actively.

 

And I don't like this movement to do all things on Skype instead.  But nontheless, IRC or Skype or others are still only a complimentary tool to the game and offsite forums. 

 

Equilism often had trouble with those that forget that IRC is not official, only the forum is. A conversation and discussion on IRC was fine, but when they made a decision and forgot to include the forum, that caused nothing but trouble.

 

On the other hand, The Crimson Order was managed mostly via IRC.
