Eli
that was before I paid attention here. I believe wep was created July 2004 But I don't think I paid attention to regional goings on until the following January when Dilber invited me to tart up

Westwind
Heh, and IC/OOC were often confused and argued over.
Darkesia
Ah, the stressful memories of 3am raging flamefests on IRC over who was a bigger OOC Dick for not keeping everything completely IC. Irony is the most abundant crop in NS.
Eli
I rarely ever did IRC it so pissed everyone off. all that yak fest stuff sets my OCD/ADD off in a way you can't imagine. even the memory of Kandi's AIM 'conferences' makes me want to fill my standing Adderall prescription
Consular
What a tumultuous region we were. What? We're not exciting enough for you anymore?
Westwind
I rarely ever did IRC I like IRC. But it causes me problems healthwise, so I don't frequent it actively. And I don't like this movement to do all things on Skype instead. But nontheless, IRC or Skype or others are still only a complimentary tool to the game and offsite forums. Equilism often had trouble with those that forget that IRC is not official, only the forum is. A conversation and discussion on IRC was fine, but when they made a decision and forgot to include the forum, that caused nothing but trouble. On the other hand, The Crimson Order was managed mostly via IRC.
