Hi!
-
Welcome back, West! We missed ya, sir.
-
Especially chocolate. Lots and lots and lots of chocolate. Welcome to TWP!

Welcome to the forums!

Yes, we at the West is aware of what happens in a tag raid, but thanks anyways. Mal.

Fine then, my friend.

Note to all sentient species: Never ever piss off or annoy a Greek. Those Mediterranean folks are (Edit: passionate).

As a note to YOUR comment, Ele, may I rephrase what Drak said... "Our ideas would have been expressed earlier, IF there was anybody listening." The absence of the leadership's attention has become a rather devastating effect on our current circumstances, I think.

Please move the post 'Not an emergency anymore: Warzone Airspace invaded by DEN', which is on the Private Foreign Affairs subforum, to the FA archives; even better, delete it out of the forums and our minds. It was a post I made when I was still a bit of a noob.

admin change requests part trois or tres or three

Hmm... maybe Russo could send a region-wide telegram advertising the forum? That's how a lot of people got here, including me, Drak, B3, Fujai, and many others. -

At this rate, the forum will become active again and the Voice could be reinstated! -
Kolmias' government suggestion

Sorry if I was being harsh. -
May I remind you of an old saying from Korea: 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.', which means that a small effort can achieve great things. Remember when Medio sent a regional telegram telling us to join the FA department, shortly after the government was revamped? There was a boom of new players applying for both ambassadorship and membership in the Voice, and I believe that was how many people who are now active here, including me, Drak, BBB, Fujai, and many others, got to know the community here. Yes, recruitment is hard. It may take a hell lot of our precious time. But all it takes could be a single telegram. Edit: Ninja'd by Russo. Argh!

Kolmias' government suggestion
Malviet replied to Langburn's topic in Voice of The West Pacific Union
The Imperial Court idea is bullshit in two ways: 1. If the court justices are appointed by the delegate, the court would be heavily influenced by the monarch; in fact it would be a perfectly legitimate way to grant the monarch power over the forum government. It would be the same as appointing 4 people as Minister of Legislative RP, which would mean something like 4 Vlaghs at once. 2. If the court justices are appointed by another party other than the Delegate-Monarch, say, the House of Commons, it would be as equally ineffective as no. 1; it would be unable to create or veto laws concerning the in-game community, as Max's rules prevents that, and it would be unable to convict or impeach the delegate as the holder of the position is chosen solely by the number of WA endorsements. In short, the Court would have no power to enforce its decisions upon the in-game region. -
The off-site government(regardless of what form it takes) is under the jurisdiction of the Legislative RP Minister, which is in turn appointed by the delegate. Is it just me, or is TWP becoming more and more NPO-ified?

But then again, why not?
-
Farewell, boss. It was a pleasure working under you.
-
That's an outrage!
-
... and the fourth candidate(the fierce Trump supporter) left, and therefore the incumbents will serve another term. By the way, it seems like the folks from Caesars Legion invaded only to forcefully accept the in-game embassy request they sent few days prior to the invasion - nothing more, nothing less.

What did we eat wrong? Did we not check the list for unholy things? Did we steal Dark's chocolate? Haha, a joke to freshen things up. Anyway, the voice WAS open. There WAS a planning forum for DAs to do planning, before they all got automatically fired. The Voice of the West Pacific Union WAS open. Not anymore - now it's just a blasted ruin full of clustered paperwork and people who didn't do their jobs..... for now.
