Good idea, got that updated now. I don't really think the "newness" of the government is necessary to point out, but there's links and descriptions in the spoiler about the forum, and there's stuff about the WA under the WA spoiler. I used the spoilers so that we could keep the length down. The "Don't Panic" was a reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I thought we could score some points with that, but it could be changed. What kind of information to entice them to stay are you thinking about?

I'd like to have a discussion about our welcome telegram. I've collected our current telegram, the telegrams of the other feeders, and I've created a potential new telegram. A welcome telegram is basically a recruitment telegram to the new nations. It's our first, and sometimes only chance to make an impression on them. It has to convey all the right information, yet stay readable and succinct, so I think it's good to discuss exactly what we want in it. Can the Naturalization and Recruitment subforum be moved out of Internal Affairs and renamed "Ministry of Recruitment and Citizenry"?

Well, the only thing you can really do is wait for more issues surrounding the economy come up. The problem is that they usually involve boosting the economy and hurting the environment and vice versa. So if you want them both to be good, it will take some fiddling for a good while. Looking at your happenings, I'm not sure where free enterprise was outlawed, but with your issue responses geared towards capitalistic responses, eventually it should go back to the way it was, and you'll get whatever issue caused it to happen again at some point. You can also see more stats on what your responses are doing by going to your settings and clicking on "more stats" under the issues section if you haven't yet. The flag request thread on the NS forums is fairly active, but I'd much rather see more small time local makers getting most of the customers. If there were some sort of advertisement area I could use...that would be helpful. Maybe I'll look into that.

I liked the idea of a Mental Health Awareness. The official month for it is May, and I think it's something that is increasingly prevalent, yet too often overlooked in society.

I'm pretty sure you can give general guidelines as to what stats increase and decrease, but the issues mods have the final say

My nationality is American, born in Chicago, raised in Wisconsin. Ethnicity is more complicated. My mom is 100% German, and my dad has some German as well, but there's also French (via Canada), English (via New England and Canada in the 1600s), some Scottish, and a tiny slice of Polish. I have an ancestor, Peter Ingersoll, who was a Captain in the Continental Army and also owned an inn in Great Barrington, MA. I don't remember the name of it though.

So, as you may or may not have noticed, I haven't really been around the past month or two. I'm going through a rough patch over in RL, and I'm just having trouble dealing with it. I just have a lot of stress and badness in my life right now, but don't worry, I'll be around occasionally, not enough to actually do much, though. I'll be be back completely sometime around February after the semester ends. Thanks.

Yeah, that makes sense, and it's doubtful that that'll even happen in the first place.

I haven't been incredibly receptive of systems like this in the past, but I like where this is going. My only problem is in section 3, number 6. I feel like that should be changed to being just another runoff election or a vote by the Voice instead of something as arbitrary as who declared candidacy first. I would have quoted it, but mobile doesn't feel like doing that today. Overall it's a great proposal.
