I've really only played 1e,2e, and Forgotten Realms. I used to love it so much. Haven't even thought about it in so long! Thanks for the memories! We used to play in my friend's basement (which was more like a root cellar). It was always cool and damp, except when it was cold and damp. We built a table with saw horses and old 2x10's. Played with dice, character sheets and pencils and paper.

I've never played the various Dungeons and Dragons board games. I've played the RGP a ton as a teen. I've also been in some epic Risk battles. But most end before the game is actually over!

It's a good game to play over cocktails! Board games have always been a part of my life. I looked forward to play various games as a child, but monopoly has been a favorite. Nothing beats drunken trivial pursuit! A new favorite is called Blockus.

I agree with nearly everything said above. However, I am dismayed at the lack of participation in what we do here. It appears as though TWP is not interested in an offsite community. I've seen some criticism, but not too many offers to help from members that do come here. There is no manual on what to do here. So I've searched the archives and seen what has been done in the past. I've spoken with experienced members about the needs of the job serving TWP. The Deputy Advocates have been working on their areas. And for the most part have been successful in finding what needs to be done and doing it. I have consulted with Medio and Ele on nearly everything we've done here. They've both been helpful and had an influence in the business conducted. If anyone has any suggestions about things that can be done better, please let me know. I want to do right by my region and its citizens. If anyone would like to help, I've got a lot of jobs that need to be done. Where do we go from here?

I spent the last two hours going nation by nation on the census page searching for zombies. I started at the bottom and went through 1000 nations. I picked up quite a few stragglers. I think next year we should break this down and assign smaller sections to different people. At first they can report nations not searching for a cure. Then at the end they can cure stragglers.

I really like the idea of bi-monthly! If something really big or exciting comes up and others want to contribute then we could have a special edition. I also think that we can keep it brief. It could be more of a Christmas newsletter (god I hate those) or a bulletin rather than a newspaper. It might be nice to hear from the Delegate or Guardians every issue. Even if it was only a couple hundred word address to the peeps. It could become a regular feature! Forum government can contribute also. I like the idea of an issues section. It could be cut and pasted from our forum with some addition from our issues expert. As I've read some of the newspapers other regions have, I'm frequently bored with the articles. So often they are about people or events that are meaningless to me. I think if we are going to talk about people or events it should be done in a uniquely TWP fashion...snark filled! Funny RMB quotes? BREIF explanations of various traditions found in NS might be fun. Like our karaoke or The Pacific's stat posting. Just a few ideas...

Calling all flag and banner makers! I am proud to announce the 1st annual TWP Flag and Banner Contest! For this year's contest, there will be four categories: TWP Themed Flag TWP Themed Banner Open Theme Flag Open Theme Banner Any nation with a forum account may submit entries. Each nation may submit one entry for each category. The submission deadline is Friday, November 13th. Winners will be selected after. Submit all entries on this thread. Prizes: Winner of the TWP Themed Flag will have their flag flown by the region for three days in early November. Winners of the TWP Banner will have their banner flown by the Delegate Mediobogdum and the Delegate-Elect Elegarth for one week in early November. Disclaimer: There will be three judges.
