I am going to ask the admins to restore the Voice maskings and roles.
What I am also going to do is request a meeting with the delegate to review russo's desires for the forum government and how we can stay on the same page. and even if we aren't on the same page clearly communicate.
I think russo made the changes with the hopes to spur activity on the off-site. Well, that happened.
I believe Eli said "It's time to toss some grenades in here because this is morgue like"
Well- Maybe not the most correct answer.

Excellent. This is now the official government of TWP offsite. Any links I need on the WFE?
-
From now on, I'm doing it on the first and last monday of every month. A little routine to help me remember.
-
-
It is your duty and privilege as resident of TWP to shape the offsite government into whatever you wish. I tried to realize that privilege, but the delegate does not have that privilege. They give it up when they take the seat and regain it when they leave.
I will fully back any government created by the residents as long as it does not attempt to break game rules.
I can't win in terms of criticism so at this point I'm not even going to try.

Region wide tg's? Sounds easy enough, if that's what you want. Anything specific you want me to say, or more just "Go check out our shiny forums, we have lots of fun and a government to boot" kinda thing?

Malviet, I did indeed mean guardians.
-
I have the power to do ANYTHING. At this point, the guardians and I are the only government.*laughs uncontrollably*
So you're saying that the only power you have, is the power to do nothing?
My goal was to instate an active government. They will have to recognize my authority and that of the guardians in order to have me recognize their 'Authority'.Really? It doesn't seem that way to me, no offense.
You ordered me to dissolve the Voice. I did so without hesitation, because you are the Delegate. Within two days there were several ongoing discussions about how you didn't have the authority to take that action and how you were going to be ignored or rebelled against. Even the forum administration hesitated to follow your orders until I stepped in. Where were you when that was taking place? I certainly didn't see you here when I was attempting to defend your position.
Then, several nations unilaterally decide that they are going to restart the Voice with or without your input and some are very explicit that they want it codified that you have no authority over them. The former Advocate will not even sign on to the program unless it is very clear that you will not have anyone in a Ministry office that can oversee and/or overrule it.
You have since stated more than once that you have no authority and that they can do whatever they like. Well, if what they like is to establish a government absent the influence of the Delegate then that makes you a figurehead, plain and simple. You have effectively made yourself a lame duck and it isn't a benefit to this community that you have done so, no matter what some of them might believe at present.
There is no guarantee that the next Delegate will be okay with a status quo that equates to an offsite government representing the region without input, direction, or leadership from the Delegacy. No feeder does that, except this one evidently. So, you are basically setting up a coup. It may not be tomorrow, or next month, or even immediately after someone else takes the office, but eventually someone is going to get tired of having the offsite community, which is a vast minority of the region as a whole, tell the Delegate what they can and can not do in regards to running and representing the region.

Figurehead my ass. I have power here. I may simply refuse to acknowledge the government, in which case it has no power to do anything.
Being willing to listen to my people and being powerless are two very, very separate things.
You seem to misunderstand me. The government IS tied to the delegate. In fact, at this point the government consists of delegate and the guardians. Only. I may choose to introduce an offsite portion, at which time I will still be the supreme authority.
-
I wish this treaty to remain in place, and as far as I am concerned due to the nature of TWP, no forum governmental changes have any effect on treaties whatsoever due to the fact that the government is, at this point, the guardian circle and myself, FOLLOWED by any forum government.
-
I want a forum government.
But it needs to be active and I kinda wasn't a fan of the voice.
-
-
Ultimately I have no authority here, which as we just proved is better anyway.
I leave it in your hands entirely. Whichever government is able to stay active will gain official status.
That is all.
-
The point of this thread is that I, my friend, am the fucking problem.
No, technically I am not able to dissolve the government. You're all free to continue on there if you wish.
-
Introduce the changes, I say.
-
Also, the Advocate cannot be on par with the delegate. Good Max gave us no such way for this to happen.
-
URA did indeed do the evil and Vlagh was only the messenger. I could remove his position if it was that much of an issue, but I do not honestly believe that.
-
If you guys really want me to drop Vlagh's Office so badly, I will.
What you seem to wish to prevent is not prevented by this action.
That is all.
-
Not endorsing it is nigh on the same thing. I'm pretty sure there is not much of a difference.
Anyhow, Removing Vlagh doesn't prevent that either.
-
I would love to have feedback here as ultimately the government will be run by you guys.
-
I hope you understand that even if Vlagh is gone, I or another delegate may dissolve the government at will anyhow? That is not the main purpose of Vlagh's position and removing him doesn't prevent it.
-
Alright everybody- Calm down.
Vlagh is a player here just as much as any of the rest of you.
Ivan is the emperor of the NPO.
They are the same person, but subject to duality.
Is there some leakage between the two? Anyone who thinks not would be a fool.
But Vlagh has no power here except through me. He can't dissolve the government without my permission. You have no reason to fear him.
-
Lol.
-
My friend, Vlagh is going to have to remain in place. I will publicly make clear that he is a thing, but he's staying put. He acts only at the discretion of the delegate and does nothing otherwise, and is our way out of any corner we may accidentally trap ourselves in. He has no power unless I give it to him and therefore is not dangerous to the new government, which I endorse.

Will-do.
ALso, can you respond to the TG I sent about a region-wide TG?
