July 14, 1423, address on the Uprising of the Second Campan Union
Summary
In April, on the 2nd, only about two months ago, a large group of very vocal protestors demanded a referendum yet again for Gran Blindaje independence, Diego Wright would then authorize the referendum, followed by Elena Carter. The vote lost with over 70% in favor of staying a part of Campa Simpatica, this failure was largely considered amounted to by the protesters' extreme left wing and authoritarian nature, calling to replicate the extreme government of the original Campan Union. This failure then would lead to the formation of the "Second Campan Union" in the South of Gran Blindaje with its capital and origin lying in Maria, a fairly rural land locked city. After gaining support in the city as well as near by cities, the revolution would spread and formally declare both independence and war on April 13th. The revolution would quickly spread through rural areas, giving the nation a small coastline in the East. The Gran Blindaje army began fighting the troops back, though it was a struggle as a lot of equipment had already been captured in the jungle areas. The rebellion would continue to expand through rural areas, but would become stuck in a stalemate once reaching the more prepared urbanized coastal areas. By this point, the rebellion roughly looked as it does in the image below.
The struggle would continue until the arrival of New Kalmachian forces which found much more luck in the liberation of Gran Blindaje, starting to push the forces back into the Southern jungles. It is believed that in desperation, the forces then invaded South trying to get enough valuable land to push back, however Artingur would quickly push these forces back as well, surrounding the the rebellion and leading to and even faster defeat on July 12th.

Hello Simpaticans, we all hope you are all doing well and all who were injured are recovering. Me, as well as the other state and general organizers have been discussing what this all means for our nation and what actions should be taken. We are obviously going to be having many issues to vote on in the following elections so we recommend you all prepare for that if possible. One of the first questions we all want to figure out, how can we prevent this in the future? We have allowed protest, we have allowed referendum, and these did not work. We believe our only option left is increasing our military budget and modernizing our military. We want peace, we do not want this, but revolutionaries have forced our hand. We have no more freedoms to give them, we can not give them freedom by taking away the freedom of other Gran Blindaje inhabitants, so we must keep a military to protect this.
Furthermore, the "Second Campan Union" may not be our only threat to consider. Aftokratorian ships were found shipping weapons to the Second Campan Union. This is an unacceptable intervention from an already morally dubious nation. We will try to keep peace with both regimes, but we believe for the sake of both deterrence and if need be, we should vote in favor of a modern military, expect to see that in the elections soon.
Another issue is the rebellion's involvement in Artingur. Artigur is far from our enemy and we wish to keep it that way with further collaboration and compensation for what the rebellion did. We are considering allowing more influence in the P.A.N.L. Campa area due to its historic ties and cultural similarities. We ask that you all allow us to hold a vote in the region as to whether or not the region may gain Artingur influence. Keep in mind that this will not at all affect Campa Simpaticans outside the region, the state already runs completely autonomously while the N.Z. would still remain a sperate part without Artingur influence. We believe this is the best path towards compensating the Artingurans as occupation of Southern Gran Blindaje could lead to even more calls for revolution, allowing them to keep their freedoms should, hopefully, help them readapt to life in Campa Simpatica, and even if not, we should have our military if need be.

El Diario Campano
The National Museum of Campa Simpatica located in Puertopatico announces major addition to paleontology exhibit.

Seen above is reconstruction of a "bosquesaurus." Recently, more and more pieces of the spinosaur have been discovered, allowing a good enough inference to be made in creating the skeleton above. Most of these discoveries were made in Campa Simpatica State, Gran Bosque, and Sothern New Kalmach, all of which being the most gifting in terms of fossils. Due to these regions largely revolving around Northern Gran Bosque, it was named after said region.
Like Spinosaurus, it can be inferred that bosquesaurus primarily ate fish based on the shape of its skull. However, like seen in the exhibit, it may have also eaten pterosaurs such as the one seen in its jaws. A tooth from a bosquesaurus has been found imbedded into a fossil of a similar pterosaur, leading to the conclusion that the flying creatures were likely part of its diet.

Roughly a year has passed since negotiations began with Kalmach and Garahun, and no official agreements have been achieved. It is under the opinion of the Campa Simpatcan government that the invasion of Garahun was justified in order to stop the oppression of Kalmash people. However, it is also under the opinion of the Campa Simpaticas government that Kalmach has pushed beyond where it is needed into areas not needing or desiring liberation. We have tried to negotiate a peace in which as much of the population as possible gets what they want, however these options have been refused by both participants.
An embargo has been considered, however it is believed that this will do little beyond hurt the people in both countries. Instead the Campa Simpatican government has decided to further ease immigration policies as well as create a refugee program to assist those negatively affected by the war.
Immigration policies, as mentioned, are further relaxed, the time required to live in the country to gain citizenship has been reduced to one year. Government programs will also assist in finding a fitting state and city for those who come as well as a job and or education. New refugee programs work much the same way however with additional benefits. Primarily access to healthcare even without citizenship in cases of damage caused by war or government oppressions.
These polices indeed may increase taxes, however over time the increased population of theses newcomers will begin to balance out the money required to pay to help them. As such, over time, taxes will balance back out to roughly their previous amount.

Can I get on the map? If so could I get the white area of land between Saint Mark and Orandia. Also the capital could be on the coast of that bay area that's near Orandia's capital. My nation's name is Campa Simpatica.
Edit: Sorry I just noticed that that's not a bay after looking closer, the capital can be anywhere on the coast really, also if possible maybe at that island towards the East too.

August 1st, Campa Simpaticans vote on military modernization
Today, on August 1st, a vote was held on whether or not Campa Simpatica should have nation wide military modernization. This military modernization would change the country's forces from unofficial guerillas to better equipped centralized troops not unlike those in Gran Blindaje and New Kalmach. While guerilla programs will continue, the nation will focus instead on the official troops for the sake of both internal and external security. The election, held earlier today, had the following results.
The clear majority victory means that the nation will go through with military modernization, using New Kalmach's state military as a base to build the nation's. It is also planned for collaboration with Kalmach in order to build this new military. Continued votes relating to the Second Campan Union incident will likely lead to more elections in the near future, however this is a solid first step towards dealing with the issue as we move forward.
