Spending 5% of the GDP for his selfish desires such as parties and buying mansions. Sortireterre is a fairly peaceful country despite its instability and protests against King Charls's incompetence. The Sortireterre military likes artillery systems. The country is mainly based around France, and a bit around other Romance countries. (Hence why I want a civil conflict like the French Revolution)

Charls is a careless ruler. Hosting too many parties and buying unnecessary stuff. His people are angered by his posturing. The top parties are Démokratie, a social-democratic party with dreams of a socialistic economy, and République, a democratic capitalist party aiming for the welfare of the country and citizens. (The civil conflict is to happen in June 20th 1420).
