  1. Rolheath is a TWP Champion and I look forward to his return someday soon. Because face it ... sooner or later we all come back to this game.
  2. I wonder if the influence changes will alter CTE nations. Will resurrected nations return with all the accrued influence at the time of CTE still intact? I have always hated that glitch in the system.
  3. Any such "schmoozing" better have involved a grill and very hot coals.
  4. Like every change before this, it will take time to adjust. However, EVERY system has its loopholes for exploitation. And in the beginning of any system changes, some players make it over the learning curve (and are able to use these exploitation tools) long before others. To prepare for this, the lower cap proposed by Archsium makes more sense at the start. Once the fuller impact of the changes is understood, you could always relax limits. Dark makes a good point, too. If you aren't endorsing the Del, you don't need more than a couple of endos. Maybe before the changes occur, you should contact those not endorsing you and deliver an ultimatum: endo, move, or be moved. The ultimatum could be more nicely worded than that, of course, and express justifications for the policy. If you do have to boot, you might as well do it before any potential limits are placed on your Del Influence. There is always SlingShot to move the stubborn.
  5. We like poetry. Purposeful word placement is a song from the heart.
  6. I think you should be made to shave your head and drink a cup of tea ... Earl Grey ... Hot. Make it so.
  7. What ever is in plain site is not hidden. Besides ... TAO only sees two wheels.
  8. I never saw a cart ... a cart has only two wheels. What I saw had four.
  9. TAO's stance on the TSP issue is this: As long as Milograd is willing to support the anti-marsupial policies of the New TAO Order (NTO), TAO will support Milograd and the re-establishment of a fresh TSP. (By contrast, the old TSP regime embraced marsupialism.)
  10. Yeah ... we could call them CommRangers or something catchy like that.
  11. I disagree. Let them figure out how to turn them off on their own. N000bs!
  12. Mr. Delegate (current or future), TAO was curious about what lies ahead for the region. Would it be possible to give a brief mission/vision statement for those of us with inquiring minds? And will there be rum and chocolate?
  13. Welcome to the one place in all of NS where a player can get chocolate and freedom from marsupials.
  14. In my opinion, the whole thing would have been better and more fun if we had been given more targeted 'warnings' a few days in advance. How hard would it have been for Admods to create a new zombie region and declare an outbreak a few days before the event? They could have made the outbreak region be the highlighted Featured Region of the Day and had all the well-wishing Featured Region Groupies become unsuspecting carriers for a day or two. Heck ... even pick a random raider group as the carriers. For many of us, by the time we logged in for the day, the event had been running amok for hours. 12-14 hours into a zombie RP with our nations' and regions' stats as the tools for failure/success ... what is the point of caring? If you logged on late in the event, your nation was already long lost.
  15. TAO is not impressed.

TAO totally disagrees about the "recruiting" in TWP. Just because this is a feeder, players think we don't have to compete for player resources. Recruiting here is every bit as valuable as recruiting for any other region ... and maybe more so since so many think it isn't a necessity. Look around this mostly empty room and see what 'not recruiting' gets you.

I am up for a changing ... but it will have to wait until later in the week when I have enough time to do it right.
  18. *We could have the Guardians take turns banjecting nations they each might want gone. They'll lose a bunch of Influence, leveling the playing field for others.* This is an interesting idea ... purge TWP of as many WA nations as possible to create an opportunistic instability. If TWP actually did this, it would be 'fair' only if the Guardians/Del burned thier Influence on booting WA nations and leaving the non-WA minnows alone. Purges have been attempted in the Game but not a WA-specific surgery.
  19. My last major action in the region was to create a generic Constitution that could be adapted to any government type but would keep its main tenets intact. RL (started second career in Feb this year) has captured the lion share of my time and TAO has so little time. Hopefully (within the next few months) TAO will find a balance/routine/equilibrium between work and play and then have more time here. Maybe then TAO will reinstate his master plan for regional domination (and get to use those shiny new Delegate buttons that have been added since I was Delegate.)
  20. I am afraid I will be echoing Dark. After 9 years (really? 9 years) in TWP, I have been about everything and now RL has left me so little time. Just so you know ... technically, TAO is still the Prime Minister of TWP.
  21. Waiting for Winni to see this.
  22. This embassy thread is created for The British Isles.
