Test? HOLY CRAP, I FIXED IT! Seems it's not the Posts, or even the Topics, that were at fault, but something in the Forum itself... By Creating a new forum and moving all the topics to it, it fixed it...for that Forum. So I need people to let me know of Forums that are having the problem, and then I will re-create the forums in question.

Until I get the request from Elegarth, I won't be making the change. As for the auto-save feature, I'm thinking it might have been new in the 3.4.8 patch, but I didn't bother reading the patch notes.

This is a Test, please ignore (just need to see a reply POST that doesn't work...so I can compare the AJAX sent vs the threads that are working.) WTF...there is litterally no difference between a working AJAX data post, and a non working AJAX data post... It has to be related to the Database, but I can't find anything wrong with that either.

Another Test And another. . . . *sigh* still no idea why it's doing what it's doing...but I've verified it's not a problem with the Javascript, or Ad-Blocker... The AJAX Query sends the request for the new post, but the server never replies to say "done" so the Javascript just keeps turning and turning...

You try clearing your browser cache? I can't duplicate it anymore in Chrome or Firefox... I take that back...apparently it doesn't happen while I have the forum in offline mode...but as soon as I put it back into online mode the problem comes back...wtf Testing from Microsoft Edge... So...apparently this thread has it happen, but if I do it from a thread in my super-secret hidden testing forum, it works fine. Only thing I can see that might make it different is the fact that the thread I was using in there was created AFTER our forum fun at the beginning of the month... Can you try it from a new thread and let me know if it still happens in that one for you?

I'm Canadian, but my mother's side is Scottish (MacLeod) and my father's side is scottish (Morrison) and Icelandic (Stephenson). Don't know much on my mother's side as she was adopted at birth, so aside from her mother's name and nationality, we know virtually nothing. My father's side is a bit more interesting...the family lore (with very little evidence to back it up but...) is that William Stephenson was adopted into our family at birth in Winnipeg. I've noticed it too, but I'm still trying to recover other databases at the moment, so bare with me. I have a forum update that I need to apply as well so when I get a chance I'll try to fix it. I would love to be able to allow Guest Posting, but that's just a HUGE invitation for link spam. I'm actually amazed it hasn't happened already. Forum must have been hidden enough to avoid it.

The Key to getting Benevolent Dictatorship is having High Economic and Civil rights, but virtually no Political Freedoms. That aside...interesting that this forum allowed for "Guest" posting...I'm going to have to fix that.

It just means those are the leading nations for developing the cure, which usually are the top 5 biggest nations that started developing a cure right at the beginning. I think anyway.

Elegarth, since you seem to be in contact with IH, could you ask him to create a new account on the forums, and then I'll link all his old content back to him. I can't find a backup that actually has his user in there, so I need a user account for the process.

I'm getting tired of your impatient-ness. When you see someone answer that they've done it, that's when it gets done. We (the admins) don't just live to see your requests 24/7, we have lives too. that all said, they've been updated.

URAP behaved poorly and negatively towards this community, and his fellow forumites, and I removed him from the forums. Much as I would remove a town drunk from a community gathering. He is no longer welcome here.
