  7. January 24th, 1424, 3:00PM, General Zannese/Granzian (Candeluian) Time. The rest of the month would pass relatively calmly, no acts of violence would happen between the two nations. In this day however, the Zannese government would send a peculiar request to the Nouveauterran base in the demilitarized zone. It was simply, a request to remove any divison found in "Zannese, neutral and Granzian" territory, as it is "An obvious threat against the very existence of Zanna itself", because "no blood has been spilled so far", and their presence was "not needed". From this day, the zannese would become more and more active and supportive of the idea of a bigger Zanna... basically what was Candelù before this civil war, with the complete eradication or exile of all granzian people (Besides those who were to swear loyalty to the Government). While the zannese people are almost completly supportive of an eventual full-on war, as a way to show their power, the Candeluians, still creating improvised militia with the little equipment left after such a rapid and massive mobilization (for an armyless nation standards), had very, very low war support from the population, hell, even the king himself was against this senseless war. War is now the most likely outcome, and both sides know it. Now, how will the Nouveauterran soldiers in the base answer? will they actually leave Candelù to it's fate, or will they still help to keep peace? @Nouveau may choose.

  11. A look into the league - Part 4, Matchdays 24-30. After a short animated introduction, the scene opens in the TVNC studio, with Liandre and Xiava already at the desk. [Xiava]: Right. Are we ready? [Liandre]: Mhm, ill take it from here. Good evening watchers, thanks for tuning into TVNC for our 6-day report on the ryxtylopian league, things are getting closer to the end. [Xiava]: 12 Matchdays to go! And things are getting more heated! Mainly in the Top 3, the Mid-Table brawl and the Relegation Race! [Liandre]: Stuff has changed since our last look and things keep heating up. [Xiava]: Well, then lets jump into it! [Liandre]: Right then, first off, Libre and Priava keep fighting for the top spot, Priava lost it to libre and they're now 2 points behind, but they'll have tougher matches soon so they could both loose potential points, Mytapixas meanwhile sits third, behind both Libre and Priava, Mytapixas along with Libre have had the best attacks this season so we need to keep an eye on them too. [Xiava]: Makes you wonder, how will the transfer market treat them? [Liandre]: Well, a lot of them are young, and of course you have one or two more experienced folks there but considering how much young talent is there, who knows where they may end up, either across the sea somewhere to Polaris, if they can handle the time difference making it all the way east to Nur, or setting south somewhere to Andolia or the rest of Aura. [Xiava]: We'll just have to wait and see. [Liandre]: But going back to the attack, Libre clearly has an edge over Priava here, but Priava has the overall better team coordination in my opinion, and they can keep possetion as well as defend pretty niceley. [Xiava]: Yeah yeah, but you wont guess who's 4th now. [Liandre]: Well for those who aren''t getting Xiava's hint, Isportivo dropped a spot after loosing to Mytapixas, while Bixas won their game and took Isportivo's previous spot. [Xiava]: And you all doubted us after the rocky start didn't you? [Liandre]: Yeah yeah... Well after the top 5 we reach a 6-ish point gap before reaching Raquivas and Tsalapaní with 61 and 60 points respectivley, both are most likley are going to qualify to the next stage. [Xiava]: Moving further down another change is Myvas and the D.U.V. battling for what seems to be the last spot to the next round! So far Vynitiná has that spot but only by one point, Pinichaca is still within reach but they depend a lot on Vynytína's and Myva's results, whilst both Universities seem to be only getting further away from qualifying. [Liandre]: There have been a lot of changes mid-table, but if we head further down we can see teams like Ystiandes, and Cintral Liipíca are starting to get closer to the danger zone, meanwhile Carraizal have made their best efforts to get out of there but they're still in warm - not hot - water. [Xiava]: Further down the well, Tirilpense sits 3 points above their next contender Ryxtylopiana, which only today escaped the 2 relegation spots, but if they're not careful they will sink back in. [Liandre]: Taking Ryxtylopiana's spot, Pinilaca, having now a nightmarish season, they've already sacked one coach, but they have entered some real disarray and they have the worst goal difference right now, by a lot too... its sitting at -47 GD. [Xiava]: Considering no other team has reached -40 you start to wonder, where did it all go wrong, they were always near the bottom but they sorta managed to keep themselves afloat until now. [Liandre]: They depended too much on other team's results, and now that the winds aren't going their way, they are kinda screwed. But anyways, taking the last spot is Garravas with only 11 points and a single win to their team's name. [Xiava]: But a lot of teams are still in the point range to get relegated, its now up to the bottom teams to gain points or fall down to the B. As they finished, a hurried Pablo rushes into the filming room. [Liandre]: Oh look who it is... its uhh... honestly im starting to run out of jokes to make about you always arriving late. [Pablo]: Yeah yeah, keep talking. [Xiava]: Its hard to keep talking when you have someone interrupting you mid show. [Pablo]: Well then just hurry up! Liandre and Xiava chuckle as they get back with the program [Liandre]: Well, since you arrived, maybe we could set up the goal scoreboard. [Pablo]: On it. The Screen Changes to a table of the top goalscorers: Player Team Goals Scored Ezicaiel Barvas Mytapixas 27 Inzé Fransquixa Rio Priava 25 Andreís Richava Bixas 25 Rauíl Disquiverria Libre 25 Randé Tsilvana Tsalapaní 25 Ezicaiel Xiviscarra Raquivas 24 Andreís Diraberua Tsalapaní 23 Terado Irrasvasquia Bixas 23 Julio Indrava Rio Priava 22 Rauíl Disquerravia Isportivo Ryxenia 22 [Xiava]: Barvas will definitley be leaving Mytapixas this season, that's for sure. [Liandre]: Really shows the talent theese players have when you compare them to entire teams who haven't even scored enough goals to be on this list. [Pablo]: I agree with you Liandre. Its been a wonderful season when it comes to goals. [Liandre]: Well and which have been the people assisting most of theese goals? [Pablo]: Well you should be able to see it... now. The Screen Changes to a table of the top assisters: Player Team Goals Assisted Enrico Irrasvasquia Mytapixas 39 Andreís Yirapa Libre 37 Luque Pirrava Rio Priava 37 Lardo Armatez Bixas 34 Ezicaiel Barvas Mytapixas 31 [Liandre]: Barvas is in two lists at the same time. [Xiava]: Im telling you, he's probably the best player this season, but Fransquixa isn't too far behind to be fair. [Pablo]: Again, if i had to choose between Libre and Mytapixas, id say Mytapixas has the better attack out of the two, but they also have a worse defense to be fair. [Xiava]: Yeah i see where you come from, don't worry. [Liandre]: Well, what about GK's? [Pablo]: On it, give me a second... Finally, the list of top goalkeepers shows up on screen: Player Team Saves Julian Xirvés Unydo di Vynitiná 42 Andreís Yirapa Tsalapaní 40 Isidro Darrias Raquivas 37 Marco Valandrés Bixas 36 Tincho Quilivixas Myvas 36 [Liandre]: Not many changes there, but i have seen Julian's saves, probably what's keeping Vynitiná in the top 8, we'll see how well they do in the next stage. [Pablo]: Well i dont think its really time to talk about knockout results yet. [Liandre]: Eh, im just throwing it. [Xiava]: Well maybe next broadcast you'll be able to talk about it a bit, even if im not able to be there. [Liandre]: Well, for those who don't know, we'll receive some guests on our next transmission, for a bit of a chat, its something new we're going to try on this program, separate from our regular transmissions. [Pablo]: Ill make sure to be there. [Liandre]: Well good luck with arriving in time, that's all im saying. [Pablo]: Oh dont worry, ill be early, very early. [Liandre]: Yeah right, well i think that's going to be all for today, thanks to our audience for watching our program, this has been the "Look into the league" presented by TVNC Sports! and we hope you all have a wonderful day. The three presenters get up and shake hands as the camera zooms away and the transmission turns to ads.

  25. January 11th, 1424, 3:00PM, General Zannese/Granzian (Candeluian) Time. The Nouveauterran ministers' proposal was a predictable happening, that is ready to finally bring peace in the Candeluian lands. Sebastiano would breathe a sigh of relief, expecting the zannese government to actually be reasonable, and accept the peace talks, knowing that Zanna would be given more autonomy, or well, even an independent but friendly state, but he was wrong. Sprizzetto's government has announced that they will not be searching for peace with the "Granzians", saying: -"We were under their influence for over a century, they want us under their influence now, and they want to keep us under it. It's time to show that Zanna can be OVER the Granzians! For Zanna!". The king was crushed. War might still be an outcome for his people, and he doesn't want it. While the president helps organizing militia units, he can't do anything other than watch. The option of peace is still present as well, but no one can predict how this will end, any event could change the route of this conflict. "The clock is ticking on Zanna."
  26. Akachi the Unfaithful Part 2 A Curious Life in Nali Ozioma settled in the land of Nali, far west of Afihadume, beyond the reach of King Uwaezuoke. Using the gold and silver that Yobanna gave him, he secured land and some sheep, becoming a shepherd near the city of Jerra. On the other side of his land, Ozioma tried to plant a vineyard, but no seed would grow. Still, Ozioma, with his sheep, became a successful man and soon hired servants of his own to help watch over his flock. After three years, he wrote to Yobanna, telling him of his success and promising that once the boy Akachi was of age, he would be returning to him safe and in peace. Hearing this, Yobanna leaped for joy, knowing that his son was safe, and shared this news with Nkiru, the boy's mother, but he refused to inform her where Ozioma had settled as he still feared King Uwaezuoke greatly. Yobanna was unable to leave Afihadume due to his priestly obligations, but he often sent writings he thought would interest his son in hopes of teaching him. Yobanna also sent small gifts from Akachi's mother and would send gifts for the entire household of Ozioma. Ozioma and his wife were blessed greatly and had more children. He raised Akachi, his kinsman, no different than his own sons, finding great delight in the boy's curiosity and energy. In the years that followed, Ozioma became rich, buying more sheep, goats, and oxen, along with more servants to tend them, but no matter what seed he planted in the soil, it did not grow. As the boy grew, he showed himself to be both curious and brave; thus, he often watched over the flock, chasing away bears, wolves, and lions. Though he was not a hunter, he sold many pelts of the beast he slain, making one of them, a large lion, into a bed for himself. In his youth, he organized a band of boys who, together, watched the flocks of the local shepherds, protecting them from marauders, beasts, and thieves. As his good deeds multiplied, he became known as a mighty man around the city of Jerra, and often the other youths would come to him to arbitrate disputes between them as he was known to be both fair and wise. Often, however, as Akachi watched over the sheep at night, he'd lay down, looking up at the stars and wonder. "Who laid the foundations of the world? Who hath laid the measures thereof, or who hath stretched the line upon it, whereupon are the foundations fastened? Or who laid the cornerstone thereof; were it one or many, if it be many, upon who's command, or did they act in agreement of counsel? Who shut up the sea when it broke forth that it came upon the shore, but did not overtake it? How do the clouds know where to go and who designed them so that they give rain to the flock and the crop? Does the sun rule the day and create all things as it casts its light, or does the sun go upon command of its creator, and where does it go when it hides its light? Does the moon rule the night with her many children, or were they all created with a purpose? Who made the pictures of heaven aligned with the stars that come in their season? Who taught the animals to take care of themselves so that they do not act without reason, though they show no understanding? Who made the great beast laugh at the mighty men so that they cast their shadow upon a city and the king hide? How does one unravel the mysteries of nature? Where can I inquire about the things I do not yet know to ask?" This curiosity and many other questions tortured Akachi every night, and he agonized within himself to be able to answer them daily. One day Akachi went down into the city of Jerra to sell more of his pelts when he noticed the temple of the gods of Nali. He thought to himself, "I cannot answer my own questions because I am not a god, but if I appease the true god, then they will answer me, and I will serve that one all the days of my life and teach my children the same." So Akachi went into the temple and cried out loud, "Hear me, oh masters, I come to you as a servant." I wish to inquire, and whichever of you answer, I will serve all the days of my life, and to the gods temple workers, I will give these pelts." At these words, all the celebrants and acolytes gathered around Akachi, as he was well known, and they all wanted him to become a devotee of their respective gods. "Ask us your questions, young man, and we on behalf of our god, will answer them," said one of the acolytes. To this, Akachi shook his head. "No, they must answer for themselves, so I will know that they are alive and true gods," but this upset some of the celebrants, and one of them spoke up, saying, "Who are you but a mere Shepard? Why should the gods, in all their might, answer to you? You will ask us first to know if your question is even reasonable. It may be that your question has already been answered, and so our god refuses to repeat what they have already given us the answer to. It could even be that the question itself has no answer because it is too foolish. So serve our god one day, and then the next day you may tell us your question, and if we deem your service and question worthy, we will allow you to ask our god." Akachi heard these words and found them to be sound, so he served in the temple that whole day and most of the night. Everything they asked of him in the name of their god, he did dutifully. All of the people saw the work of Akachi and delighted in his service to their gods. The next day, Akachi rose from the inn where he spent the night and went into the temple. As all the celebrants and acolytes gathered around him, he asked his first question, "Who taught the animals to take care of themselves, that they do not act without reason, though they show no understanding?" At this question, the room fell silent, but a young man name Enitan an acolyte of Udione, goddess of nature, spoke up: "It was Udione who taught the animals this; each one she gives instructions on how to live and bring forth their own kind." But Akachi shook his head and spoke further, saying, "Does she still teach them to this day? We are all born without knowledge, and our elders pass to us knowledge to show us the way; not Udione, but even still, the snake comes forth at birth and knows how to be a snake, his mother leaves him and at birth he is on his own. I have never seen her teach the snake, nor the lizard, nor the toad, which comes first into the world as a fish, than comes upon land knowing how to survive though it only lived as a fish." At this point, the room began to have a light rabble as the acolytes and celebrants talked among one another to find an answer. Akachi, seeing this, felt discouraged, realizing they had no answer for him, but undaunted, he asked another question: "Where does the sun go at the end of the day, that it covers its light from us in the west, but later shows itself again in the east?" The celebrant of Etia, god of night and day, spoke up, saying, "You asked one question already; you cannot come forward with a new question when you have only worked one day." At this, Akachi replied, "But none of you have answered the first in truth, and now you sit here arguing over the answer. Surely I would be right to demand an answer to at least the second." The celebrant shook his head, saying, "No", the follower of Udione answered, "it was for Udione that you worked. Work for Etia and I will answer your question." Akachi thought about these words and agreed to what the celebrant suggested. Thus, Akachi continued to worked in the temple, this time in service to Etia, the god of night and day. But the celebrants and acolytes begun to fear him and thought of ways to rid themselve of Akachi. This story is heavily inspired by canon and non-canon biblical stories.
