Description: Tullerigno is one of the best-known technology companies in Giovanniland, if not the best-known one. It was founded in Giovannia during the year of 1371, though its current headquarters are located in the nearby city of Vinikiano. The founder Dolkario Tarquino is a wealthy businessman born in the northern city of Quorivo, and took the company name from an adapted version of the Lavandulan word for technology. The current CEO of Tullerigno is Paulo Akerrone-Tuskenio, which has held the position since 1416 and is the third person in the position, following the founder Dolkario (1371-1398) and his successor Gioseppa Fausto Lodeno (1398-1416).

Initially, the company focused on software development for the rising personal computer market, with a commitment to user-friendly design and cutting-edge functionality. Tullerigno became known to the world through its operating system Osello (འོད་གསལ, brilliance), which has become the preferred platform for a majority of Giovannilandian users and also gained a significant following internationally. In the following years, the company then focused on bringing regular updates to Osello, as well as developing its key applications such as office software and communication services.

With the rise of the internet at the turn of the 15th century, the company continued developing its services in order to gain its place as one of the pioneers in this new era, a successful project best exemplified by the creation of the browser and search engine Essio (ཡེ་ཤེས་, wisdom). Essio is used by most devices in Giovanniland and many more throughout the world.

In the current century, beyond its key successes, Tullerigno has focused on expanding into new horizons while ensuring that its flagship projects continue having regular new versions and updates, keeping up with the pace of digital innovation. With its advance sensors and systems the RBF-4 can find, track and rely information of hostile forces to nearby partners to avoid, capture or engage the enemy. More recently the RBF-4 has been used in the civilian sector for the search and rescue of lost hikers and climbers with mostly positive results. The RBF-4 is not yet for sell, but we wished to show you the capabilities of our tech, and maybe even spark innovation of all dreamers at this years 3E event.

Aurora-Australis Natural Science Municipal University was created to provide personnel for the Power Station and also to boost research in the new Lzecov capital. It has a huge dormitory that provides free residence for about 5000 students. The rector is Alphonse Nalapic, a wise and oomny man who brings the university to prosperity.

The faculties of AANSMU are represented in its coat of arms. Atom stands for Physics Faculty, the tube and lightning for the Chemistry Faculty, penguin and seal for the Biology Institute, and the hammer and pencil for the Technological Academy.

The university arranges exchange program. So, you should probably enroll. Again, we have a huge dorm and we have lots of fun parties, and the university frovides good conditions for foreigners. Students also love straneces, especially those who can get us onto the materik.

Well, I don't know what else to write. Hi to my mom, also to my devushka Rita, she is very beautiful. Oh, if you actually enroll, here's the tip: we have good scholarship, but you better save it up for the exams, you can easily find a halturka in a shop or varehouse to make up a living. And don't tell anyone that you are going to work on the Islands, or else the malchicks will get you tolchocked. Don't worry though, the vecks are very dobry out there.

Société Mont Sud d'Utilité Publique [Société Utilité Publique Mont Sud in Common]

Société Utilité Publique Mont Sud (SUPMS) formed in 1395 as the result of legislation passed the year prior, which allowed the Ministry of Development to form public benefit corporations. These PBCs (or Société Utilité Publique) were given government funding as well as mandates to aid in technological development, sustainment and growth of novel businesses, and furthering public research interests. The site managing corporation for SUPMS is Lignarius Freres, a non-profit corporation.

SUPMS’ facility in the southern mountain range allows for a number of different tenants: neutrino study, sound and acoustic study chambers, meteorology, and a number of small scale tenants without any special requirements. The latest advancement for the Société Mont Sud has been its expansion of classrooms and student work/study projects, through it's partnership with the Collège de Guerre Du Sud, an educational institution managed by the Ministère de la Défense.

Description: Konsortio Intellegentie (KI) is an association of several major companies in Giovanniland for the purpose of advancing the development of artificial intelligence in the nation and in Esferos. Participants include the aforementioned Tullerigno, other technology companies such as Abrentekno, Kybermente, and Ordinatro Technologies, as well as independent businesspeople and scientists experienced in the field of AI.

KI was founded in 1405 after an unprecedented agreement between several Giovannilandian companies to form a consortium in the area of artificial intelligence, and devoted its early time to research in the field of deep learning. Building upon the research about AI that has been happening since the mid-14th century, KI was one of the pioneers in tasks such as better image recognition, natural language processing, and speech recognition through deep neural networks.

Gaining prominence since the last decade with breakthrough advancements related to generative artificial intelligence and large language models, KI has now become a common name in Giovannilandians' lives through the development of its own generative chatbot Violeta and text-to-image model VisioArti. The current CEO, Filippo Sekundino-Lurtone, has overseen this massive growth in visibility for KI and in this exposition stated his ongoing projects. These include improving the systems that millions of users are now familiar with, expanding KI's international reach, and eventually developing a text-to-video model in the coming years.

Industry: Quantum Mechanics

Country of Origin: Giovanniland

Description: Loquanto is a company established in 1399 acting in the field of quantum communication, with the goal of creating faster and more secure communication systems through the applications of quantum mechanics. The company was founded by Vera Sebastiano Keler, while the current CEO is her son Gigero Keler Kalventio. Furthermore, the name is derived from the Giovannese words loqua (speech, communication) and quanto (quantum).

The laws of quantum physics allow particles to simultaneously represent different states, a feature called superposition. The particles are called qubits, and often they are photons that can transmit data via optical cables. The interesting feature about superposition is that any tampering done by hackers disrupts this feature and leaves a sign of the activity. 

Another interesting application is quantum teleportation, which is possible due to a phenomenon called entanglement, where changes in one particle can affect another particle instantaneously. The current challenge, of course, is finding ways to create large teleportation networks based on this property and then use them for real life purposes. Loquanto is still studying this on a smaller scale, but is optimistic about its future prospects.

In simple terms, quantum communication offers several benefits over its traditional counterpart, for example better security and speed, as well as proofing against future computational advances. Loquanto seeks to collaborate with other like-minded companies across Esferos in the pursuit of ever-greater scientific and technological advancement.

Research to Rollout: The Pipeline from Discoveries to Utilizable Technology

“Many of the things we own or use started as an experiment in a lab,” said Alexander Regnos. “Computers, aspirin, dish soap, the list goes on. This session is about how those items move from the lab to everyday life. What we can do better, what we can throttle back on, and what it is that we’re really doing, when it comes to research and implementation.”

“The line between laboratory and the marketplace has gotten thinner with time,” said Gwen Meredydd. She is a researcher, author, and commentator from Nieubasria. “Many companies, especially in technology or the sciences, have their own internal research functions, usually to make improvements to copyrighted technology. We’re mainly looking at research that comes from public-first institutions, like universities, non-profits, and government funded research groups, and how research from these areas can spring out onto the world stage.”

“Overall this relationship has been beneficial,” Eugen Mladic said. He is an investor, businessman, and entrepreneur from Varanius. “These public institutions make incredible concepts and advancements, which a free market can fairly utilize. This isn’t to say there are no losers, but that is the nature of the old game. There are X number of customers, and if you don’t get enough of them as a business, you fail. But everybody knows this when they go into business. These public research institutions are for the public benefit, and if the public benefits, then who are we to say that something is going wrong.”

“There are more than a few cases where science that leaves the lab ends up being used for ill intentions,” said Camila Quikwasser. She is a researcher, news commentator, and advocate from Cambria. “Gasses and pathogens used as weapons of war, intrusive monitoring software, AI generated fakes. The problem is that a market that’s quick to take science and make a profit is too quick to use what they don’t fully understand. Make a buck now, learn later. With brand new technologies or practices, we have to learn now, or suffer the pains of learning later on. There might even be problems that we’ll learn about far too late in order to do anything to stop them.”

“Just like any good bread, you have to let it rise,” Alexander Regnos said. “Knowledge can do so much for society, but just as some of you have said, what ‘so much’ means can either be very positive, like improved quality of life, or very negative, incredible pain and suffering. My two cents would be that any nation should have a mechanism for tight enforcement, in case things really do go wrong with a new technology or method of doing.
