Mediobogdum
As someone who is losing at both ends, I would prefer to know what is happening to me today than what happened to me in the ever-increasingly distant past.
The Wieners
I think my long term memory is more important in my current life as I currently have like 5 events that I have to attend for varying degrees and different areas of importance and without long term memory I wouldn't remember I promised to go to said events. But if those events weren't happening I would chose short term since knowing why I went somewhere in my house is probably more important than knowing that I have a test in 5 days, also reminder apps could help as long as I realize that I lost my long term memory and the apps not counting as some sort of loop hole.
